Eventually, Emma broke the curse. She was so caught up with reuniting with her parents that she almost hadn't realized a mob was heading for her house. Emma bolted after Archie explained what was going on. The site of her pregnant wife being pinned against one of the columns on the house, made Emma run faster. She pulled Whale off of the woman, "you're seriously attacking a pregnant woman?" she asked angrily. They hadn't formally announced the pregnancy yet, but as her doctor, Whale knew. Snow and David were shocked to hear those words and see Regina's growing belly.

"Alright," David said, "everyone go home.

He and Snow ushered everyone off the property while Emma took Regina inside. "Why the hell would you answer the door?"

"I thought I had my magic back."

"I'm guessing you don't."

"Whatever made you think that?" Regina asked sarcastically.

Snow and David walked in, "everyone's gone," he said.

"Thanks," Emma said.

"So," Snow began, "are we going to talk about this?"

"Now is probably not the best time," Emma responded.

"Let's just get it over with," Regina said.

"Alright," Emma said, "I'm in a serious, loving, committed relationship with Regina. We're expanding our family which is something we planned long ago. She told me about the curse after Remy was born, but told me I couldn't break it until I was twenty-eight. Which was true."

"You've been together for ten years?" David asked.

"Yes," Emma answered.

"So is it serious?"

"Really?" Emma asked.

"David, they're married," Snow said.

"Actually, the marriage happened during the curse so it's not legal," Emma said.

"I'm just having a hard time understanding this. You have to understand that I only know the Evil Queen. I don't know Regina."

"Look, if you don't want to be involved, you don't have to," Emma said. "I'm not leaving Regina or our kids, and I won't separate them from one another. She took me in and loved me when no one else would."

"We want to be involved," Snow said quickly. "Just give us some time to wrap our heads around this."

"If you want, you could take the boys for the rest of the day," Regina suggested.

"Really?"

"Yeah, they've spent time with you before and this would be a good start."

"Okay," Snow answered.

"I'll go get them," Emma said and left the room.

"Thank you," David said.

"Don't thank me yet. Wait until after you feed them and see the bill. It costs a lot to feed three growing boys."

The boys left with their grandparents and Emma joined Regina. "Smooth," she said, "getting them to take the boys so we could be alone."

"Emma, I'm sorry but I need to rest."

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just a bit shaken from earlier. They were going to kill me even though I'm pregnant."

"Well, Whale was," Emma said, "when I said you were pregnant, everyone noticed and backed off."

"So then it's just my doctor who wants to kill me? Great."

"I won't let anything happen to you or our little princess." Emma noticed that Regina was a bit shaky, "honey, do you feel alright?"

"I need to lie down." Emma helped Regina stand and make her way to their bedroom. "This stress is just too much for me and the baby," she said as she got into bed.

Snow and David returned to Regina's with the boys sometime after dinner. "Guys, be quiet when you go upstairs. Mom's resting right now."

The boys thanked their grandparents and ran as quietly as they could up to their rooms. "Is Regina okay?" Snow asked.

"She's been in bed since you all left. The stress just put a strain on her and she's worried about the baby which is causing more stress."

"Anything we can do?" David asked.

"Got anything a pregnant woman can take to get a restful sleep?"

"Sorry," he said.

"I don't know what to do because Whale is her doctor and the only doctor. I can't take her to someone who wants to kill her. He knows she's pregnant and still went after her."

"Let us see what we can do," David said.

Later that night, David called Emma, "what's up?" she answered.

"We talked to the Blue Fairy. She said that you, Regina, and the boys can leave town. Take Regina somewhere to rest for a while that's by a hospital. If you don't want to take the boys then we can stay with them."

"I'll talk to them and I have to talk to Regina. Thanks," Emma hung up the phone.

"What do you need to talk to me about?" Regina asked from her place next to Emma in bed.

"My parents talked to the Blue Fairy and she said we are able to leave town. My dad said that I should take you away for a little while where there's a hospital nearby and if we decided to not take the boys that they would stay here with them."

"Why would we leave town?"

"Well, for starters, the only doctor here wants to kill you."

"Emma, we don't have to leave. Besides, this will all be over shortly."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm too tired," Regina said as she fell asleep. Emma sat there wondering what her wife was keeping from her.
