Emma was cleaning the house one day, during her sixth month, while Regina was resting on the couch.

"Emma, you are doing far too much."

"I'm fine, Regina."

"You're pregnant and need to rest."

Emma was trying to choose her words carefully. She didn't blame her wife, but she knew that certain words would make it sound that way. "I'm only six months along."

Regina stood and made her way over to Emma, "give me that."

"No, now go sit down. Don't get up again without your cane. I'm perfectly fine to do this."

"No, you're not."

"Regina, I'm not the one who needs a cane to stand or walk," Emma yelled and immediately regretted it. "Regina," Emma felt terrible.

Regina turned and returned to where she had left her cane, "you're right. You're not the one who is disabled, but you're also not the one everyone treats as if the slightest miss-step will break them. I'm sorry that I am such an inconvenience."

"I never said that."

"But you implied it."

"No, I was trying to not say anything because I didn't want you to misinterpret me."

"Nice job," Regina grabbed her cane and left the house through the back door. Emma texted Snow and David to ask them to keep an eye out for Regina.

It had been hours since Regina had walked out and the weather was getting worse. There was a tornado watch and Emma was terrified Regina wouldn't make it home. Snow walked into the Mills home with baby Neal. Leaves were blown inside by the incredibly strong wind. David entered moments later with an arm wrapped around Regina's waist. Emma rushed to her wife and hugged her. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."

Before Regina could say anything the siren went off. David took charge of the situation, "Henry, you help your mama downstairs. Snow you take Neal and I've got Regina."

Henry, Emma, Snow, and the baby left. "David, go," Regina said, "I'm going to slow you down."

David lifted the woman, who dropped her cane and rushed to the door of the basement. Once they were downstairs, David sat Regina against a wall with no windows nearby. Emma went to sit by her wife.

"I really am sorry."

"I know, dear," Regina placed a hand on Emma's leg.

"So, you went to my parents?"

"No, they were driving here when they saw me trying to make my way back in the wind. David jumped out to help me."

Everyone jumped when they heard a thud. Baby Neal began to cry in Snow's arms. David held onto Snow and Henry while Emma held onto Regina. It sounded as if the storm had stopped. "I'm going to check and see if it's over," David said.

"Be careful," Snow told her husband. Henry moved closer to his grandmother.

"I think it's over!" David yelled. "Don't come up yet. I want to make sure it's safe!"

Everyone waited in silence until David returned. He had Henry and Snow take the baby up. "Dad, I might need some help," Emma said. She had managed to get to her feet, but Regina was struggling.

"Regina, relax," David said as he approached her. He placed his hands under her arms and helped her to her feet.

"Thank you, for everything," Regina said.

"Anytime," David held onto the unsteady woman. "The house looks good. I haven't checked the entire property. We should probably go outside just in case. Emma, you go ahead. I've got her." Emma walked ahead but looked back before going upstairs. She saw how much Regina was clinging to David and how David appeared to be whispering to Regina. Emma found Snow, Henry, and Neal in the kitchen.

"Your dad told us to wait here," Snow explained.

"He's helping Regina. Hey, Henry, your mom's cane is right there," Emma pointed, "could you pick it up, please?"

"Sure," Henry went to pick up the walking aid. David carried Regina through the doorway that led to the basement. He gave everyone a look to not fuss. "I set up some chairs outside."

The family followed Henry to the backyard. Emma and Snow both sat. David placed Regina in a chair and knelt in front of her, "you alright?" he whispered.

"Yes, thank you," she said softly.

David sent Snow, Emma, and Henry a message that said she was afraid to walk without her cane and worried she'd fall and get hurt. "Henry, why don't we go check the rest of the property?" Henry followed David and left the women alone.

"Emma, you were right," Regina said as she looked down.

"About what, exactly?"

"I need to use my cane. I was so afraid of falling that I needed David to carry me."

"Maybe you can try walking without it when we're not in a life or death situation? I'll help you get more comfortable because earlier you actually did pretty well. You didn't have far to walk, but that's still something."

Regina looked at her wife and smiled, "thank you, dear." The mayor began to look around, "our yard is a mess." Regina gasped when she saw damage to one thing in particular.

"Honey, what's wrong?" Emma asked worriedly.

"Our tree, it's destroyed," Regina said as tears fell down her face.

Emma looked and noticed the apple tree was basically mulch. "I'm sorry," Emma squeezed the woman's hand. "Mom, can you sit with her for a moment?"

"Sure," Snow stood and took Emma's seat. She placed an arm around Regina and watched as Emma walked towards the tree. "Regina, look," Snow said knowing what her daughter was doing.

Regina looked at Emma, "where's she going?"

"You'll see," Snow said.

Emma focused really hard on her magic and in an instant, she restored the apple tree. She walked back to her wife and mother. Regina held out her hand so Emma could pull her up. Emma helped her knowing why she wanted to stand. Regina took her wife into her arms, "thank you," she cried.

"It means a lot to both of us."

Regina stepped back and hunched over. She placed a hand on her head and closed her eyes. "I need to sit," she said softly.

Emma and Snow made sure the woman sat down before she fell down. "What's wrong?" Emma asked.

"I just got really dizzy all of a sudden."

"It's probably just the stress of the day. I mean this was a shit storm," Emma said.

"That's probably true."

David and Henry returned, "I called a building inspector to look at the house and make sure it's safe. In the meantime you three should stay with us," David said. "The inspector can't get here for a couple of days."

"That's fine," Emma said. The blonde was able to use her magic to pack a bag for her and Regina and one for Henry. The two bags appeared outside. "That's really been coming in handy today."

"I can take two in my truck," David said.

"Mom, can you take the baby and Henry in Regina's car? It has a car seat."

"I can do that," Snow said. Emma handed the keys to her mother. She had been driving Regina's car because it was too difficult to get in and out of her bug at this point.

Once Snow and Henry were gone, Emma turned to her dad. "I think she's gonna need you to carry her again."

David lifted Regina and carried her to the truck. He then had to carry the woman up the stairs to the loft. Emma, Regina, and Henry stayed for two nights before they were told they could return to their house. Regina still wasn't feeling well and decided to go to the doctor. She was not prepared for what she was about to hear.
