As Emma got older, she began rebelling more. Regina's body couldn't handle all of the stress and she started needing her cane more and more. "Emma, this place is trashed!"

"So? I'll clean it in the morning."

"No, you'll clean it now. You had a party here without my permission and...," Regina walked closer to her daughter, "is that alcohol on your breath?"

"No, it's your cider," the teen got smart with her mother.

"I have no idea what has gotten into you lately, but it ends now. Clean this up and then go to bed. I'll give you your punishment tomorrow." Regina hobbled towards the stairs. She had to stop a few times to regain her balance. Suddenly, there was an arm around her waist. She looked to find her daughter helping her. Emma made sure her mother made it to bed safely, "thank you."

"Welcome," she said, "I'll try to be quiet while I clean up. I have my phone so call me if you need something."

"You're so mad at me. Why did you help me?"

"You're my mom and I don't want you to get hurt. Night, mom, I love you."

"I love you too, princess."

Regina woke up the next morning and slowly made her way downstairs to start breakfast. The house was all clean and it put a smile on her face. She found a note on the kitchen counter from her daughter. Emma told her she was sorry and that she had decided to leave for a while. Regina called Graham and both of them searched all over town. Emma was gone and there was no telling when Regina would see her again.
