Regina was trying to keep up with Henry, but her injured ankle was slowing her down. They had fought about Regina not allowing him to see Emma anymore. "Henry, wait," Regina pleaded, "please," Regina fell on her left side. "Henry, help," she yelled. The boy stopped and turned. He didn't move closer to the fallen woman. "I know you're angry, but I need your help. Please," she begged.

"Can I see Emma?" The woman didn't answer right away and Henry ran off.

Luckily for Regina, Emma happened to be leaving work and saw the fallen mayor. She quickly ran across the street. "Regina! Are you alright? What happened?"

"I had a fight with Henry about seeing you. He ran off and I followed him, but I couldn't manage with my ankle."

"Can you stand?"

"I think so," Regina went to sit up and felt a pain that radiated from her ribs to her ankle.

"I better get you to the hospital."

"No, I have to find Henry. It'll be dark soon."

"I'll call Mary Margaret and Archie. They can start looking and get a few more in on the search." Emma gently helped Regina up and leaned her up against a building. "I'll be right back. I just have to pull my car around.

Regina hadn't said anything from the moment Emma helped her into the car. The doctor had some scans done to see if anything was broken because of the pain Regina was feeling.

"Well, Madame Mayor," Dr. Whale entered the room, "you bruised your ribs and hip. Nothing is broken. However, I want you to use your cane. Don't argue with me. If you use it then your recovery won't take as long. I'd rather you use a walker but I figured it would be easier to convince you to use the cane. You can't use crutches because of your ribs." Regina didn't say anything, but she did nod. "I'll send a nurse in with your discharge papers."

Emma waited until the doctor left to speak, "how are you holding up?"

"Could you do me a favor?" Regina totally ignored the question.

"Sure," Emma answered.

"Could you go to my house and switch cars? It's going to be difficult to sit in yours. I had trouble the first time."

"Sure, but you have to promise that you won't accuse me of stealing it."

"I promise, but I want to ride with you to find Henry."

"Okay, but you stay in the car and rest."

"Thank you," Regina said softly.

By the time Emma returned to the hospital in Regina's car, the mayor was being wheeled out. The nurse helped Regina into the car. "Where should we go first?"

"I honestly have no idea."

"I quickly checked your house to see if he went home. He wasn't there."

"Maybe the woods," Regina suggested.

Emma ran up to the boy in the middle of the forest. "Henry!" she yelled.

"Emma?"

"What are you doing?"

"Waiting for you to find me."

"What?"

"I knew that you would help my mom and then promise to find me."

"Wait, you saw your mom fall and left her."

"She's done worse things."

"It doesn't matter, Henry."

"I wanted her to let me see you."

"Henry!" Regina yelled.

Emma turned and saw the woman hobbling towards them. Regina was rushing and without her cane. Emma began to worry she'd fall again. She rushed to her side and wrapped an arm around her. "What are you doing? You were supposed to wait in the car."

"I couldn't," Regina said emotionally. She turned to her son, "are you alright?"

"What do you care?"

"I'm your mother."

"No, you're not."

"Henry, please, let's just..."

"Just what? Go home and pretend nothing has happened? You can keep telling me I can't see Emma but I'll always find her. Just like how Prince Charming will always find Snow White."

Emma decided to take over, "Henry, why don't you go to the car? I brought your mom's."

Henry walked away without saying a word. "I've lost him," Regina said softly. "I worked so hard to keep him that I lost him."

"Let's get you home. You need to rest."

"Emma, can I ask you for one more favor?"

The sheriff was surprised by the use of her first name, "sure."

"I'm worried that Henry will run away again and I can't go after him. Would you mind staying at my house tonight? We can talk about you playing a role in Henry's life."

"Sure, just let me stop at the loft to get a few things."

Shockingly, Henry stayed in the car while Emma went inside. He and Regina didn't speak the entire time. Regina was busy trying to keep her emotions in check, but her tears were silent.

Henry ran inside the mayor's home while Emma helped Regina. "I really do appreciate your help," the mayor said.

"It's no trouble."

The journey was slow, but eventually, the two women made it up the stairs and to Regina's room. "Emma, could you possibly stay in here with me, tonight?"

"If you're sure."

"I think I'm going to need more help than I initially thought."

"Okay, do you need help getting ready for bed?"

"I may just need help changing."

"Just let me know what you need."

"Actually, I do need help."

Emma helped Regina change and get ready for bed. The mayor couldn't believe how caring Emma was being after how horrible she had treated her. For the first time since her father, Regina had someone doing everything to take care of her. This wasn't out of obligation. Emma genuinely wanted to be there and Regina wanted her around. Plus, it helped her with Henry. Maybe, just maybe, Regina could have what she has always wanted in life.

Emma was at the station the next day when she received a call from Regina, "everything alright?" the sheriff asked.

"Emma," the mayor sounded a bit shaken up.

The blonde sat straight up, more alert, "Regina, what's wrong?"

"My legs, they feel like Jell-O. I fell and I'm unable to stand on my own."

"I'll be right there." Emma hurried to her car and sped to Regina's. She ran through the door and found the woman on the floor in front of the stairs, "oh my God! Did you fall down the stairs?"

"No, well, just the last one. I lost my balance when I stepped from the stair to the floor."

Emma helped the woman up, "are you hurt anywhere?"

"I don't think so. Thank you for coming."

"Of course," Emma said as she added her strength to Regina's while they moved to the living room.

"You can go back to the station."

"No, your legs are bad today. I can work from here."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I brought the files and paperwork with me."

Regina gave the woman a slight smile, "thank you."
