Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta!
Luna's tail twitched in annoyance. "That clock looks nothing like me!" She insisted yet again.
Serena lifted her up and cuddled her. "Of course it does. It looks exactly like you when you're scolding me."
"Humph, it does not."
Amy giggled, "Sorry, Luna, I agree it looks like you."
Lita set a plate of cookies down, having missed the whole conversation. "Awe, it looks like Luna. Cute!" Mina and Molly both burst into laughter at Luna's look of aggravation.
Luna said, "I can't wait until Rita gets here. She's more mature than all of you. She won't think it looks like me."
Five minutes later, when Rita arrived, she took one look at the clock and said, "It's Luna!" Said cat hissed at them all and announced she was going to go and spend time with Artemis. Luna pinned her ears as she left. Rita asked, "What did I miss?"
Serena laughed and said, "She was the only one who thought the cat alarm clock didn't look like her. She was counting on you to side with her."
"It's kinda creepy," Raye said, breaking her silence.
"You've been quiet."
"Something about that clock is unsettling." She then shrugged it off, "Maybe that's because it looks so much like Luna."
Serena shuddered, "All alarm clocks creep me out. I hate waking up."
"What do you do now for an alarm since you live with Darien?" Rita asked.
Serena blushed and said, "He has a much better way of waking me up."
"Awe." They all coursed.
"And… how exactly?" Mina pressed. "You might as well tell us. You know how persistent I can be."
She sighed and nodded, "He wakes me up every morning by sucking on my breasts. I refuse to get out of bed before he does."
"Doesn't that just make him horny?"
She blushed red again, "That's the point! I love waking up now."
They laughed and talked well past midnight. They were all exhausted, but they were having too much fun to go to bed. They were all so drowsy at three in the morning that not one of them noticed a pale purple light emanating from the alarm clock.
By three-thirty, they were all wide awake and planning. "So," Raye said, "I have to figure out a way to hide Jadeite's face from my father, but everything else is planned. I have the wedding ceremony all mapped out."
"In excruciating detail," Serena supplied.
"Hey! I can't leave anything up to chance. I'm so glad we're getting married at the shrine. Grandpa will be so happy to do the wedding."
"Don't you need to ask Jadeite?" Amy asked.
"No, he owes me big time for dusting that last youma. I should have won that."
Lita raised an eyebrow, "Hey, be nice. I'm supplying the food for the ceremony."
"And mine!" Amy announced.
"Are you even engaged?"
"No, but that's on my to-do list. Once he's awake, I'll call him and tell him we're getting married." She then follows to page two of her list. "I have him going to OSA-P for the ring."
Molly smiled, "My mom will give him a good deal, so he can get you a bigger ring. We can go and look beforehand, and she can hint at the ring you want."
"Already on the list and part of my plan," she said, winking.
Rita just shook her head and said, "What's your wedding plan, Serena?"
"What? Oh, I don't know."
"I thought you'd be working on that."
"No. I'm not worried about that. I know I have Darien's heart forever. I'm working on a speech I have to give for class."
Amy set down her paper and looked at Serena in shock, "Even I'm working on my wedding and not homework."
"Well," she said, shrugging, "I really like this class, and it's important I'm good at giving speeches. I am a princess. I want Darien to be proud of me."
"Of course he is."
"I can come off as kinda dumb sometimes. I don't want him to be embarrassed to introduce me to his colleagues."
Raye narrowed her eyes at Serena and said, "If he ever once feels that way, I'll roast his dumb ass."
Mina smiled and added, "He would never feel that way. What in the world makes you think that?"
"He's so smart! I'm… you know my grades."
"You get great grades now," Amy said. "Also, you're the kindest person in the world. Everyone's drawn to you."
Molly nodded, "Yeah, Rick was telling me how jealous all their classmates are of Darien. A lot of the guys wish they'd met you first."
"Like they stand a chance!" Lita said.
Rita rolled her eyes, "That doesn't matter to boys with big egos."
She then held up her tablet, "I finished my grant paperwork!"
"Are you sure you should submit it at this time of the morning?" Amy asked wearily.
"I didn't submit it. I just finished it all. I have an editor that I hired to go through it and proofread it for me. I'll send it to her. It's fifty pages long. I just got six of them done."
"Does anyone else think it's weird that we're working so hard right now?" Amy asked.
Lita shrugged, "Maybe." She then stood and said, "Next on my list is to perfect the wedding cake."
"Something's off, right?" Amy asked.
"Shut up, Amy. She's making cake, don't complain!" Serena said, whining. "Any chance it's chocolate, Lita?"
"No, but I can make you one of those too."
"You're the best! I'm writing a list and the top of the list is to taste test your delicious cake."
"What else is on the list?" Molly asked, peaking over her shoulder.
"Nothing, but I'm just starting it, and cake is the best place to begin," she said, throwing her arms in the air.
Rita looked at the clock as they talked and planned. It was five o'clock. "Mina, what are you writing?"
"Scout plans. Oh! I have so many maneuvers I want to work on and practice. I also have individualized workout programs for each one of you, taking into account your schedules. And they're color-coded and indexed."
Molly asked, "What time do we get out of here and start working on our lists?"
"Sex!" Serena yelled out. "That's on my list after cake."
"That would be the way you prioritize things," Raye teased.
"Humph, I just figure that the cake will be made before Darien wakes up. That's all."
"I'm adding sex to my list," Rita commented. "Think I can convince Andrew to have sex on the break room couch?"
Serena stood up and pointed a finger at her. "No way! I've sat on that couch! I refuse to let you and then have to sit on a sexed-up couch. His little sister studies on that thing."
Rita winked, "That kinda makes it even hotter."
"Damn," Serena said, sitting down. "It totally does. I'm bringing Lysol next time I need to use it, and I'm fogging that thing."
"Probably a good plan," Rita commented. "He seems like he's so mild-mannered, but that changes once our clothes come off."
Molly burst out laughing, "Rick would be so pissed to hear that!" She then laughed and added, "I'll spare you the details of your brother."
"As gross as it all is, I can deal with it since I like you so much."
They all heard banging in the kitchen and Lita screaming in frustration. "What's wrong?" Serena asked.
"I can't turn up the temperature to make it cook faster. It takes so damn long to cook!" She then tossed a pot across the kitchen in anger.
Raye leaped up and picked up the pot, and looked at it in shock. "Shit, Amy, something is wrong. This is one of her good pots."
Serena sighed, "Go get Luna, let's not worry the guys yet."
Rita looked at her like she lost her mind, picked up her cell phone, and dialed. "I haven't even made a vow yet, and I wouldn't pull that crap." "Hello, Darien, it's Rita. Something's wrong, and it's affecting all of us, including Serena." … "I'll unlock the door when you get here." Serena just rolled her eyes at her. "Tattletale, you're as bad as Luna."
