Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta!

"Your grandfather wants to talk to you to see that you're okay. It was a lot for him to take in."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm getting some clothes for tomorrow, and I'll be back."

"Careful when you sneak into my room," she warned.

"Don't worry about me. I got this," he said, winking.

She shook her head at him and went in search of her grandfather. When she found him, he said, "So I hired an evil minion of the Negaverse to work at my shine. He made the busses disappear and fell in love with my granddaughter again." He shrugged, "He has good taste in women. I can get over the other part."

"You're okay with it all?"

He took a sip of the tea sitting in front of him. He motioned to his drink, "I did have to switch from saké. I needed a clear head for everything. I worry about my abilities to make hiring decisions now. Of course, I fathered the reincarnation of Elis, so maybe it was all fate."

Raye looked down at her hands, "I know Jadeite and I are fated."

Grandfather pointed at her ring, "He sure agrees. You should hear how he talks about you. I'm happy you've found a man that understands you so well. My deepest hope for you is to be truly loved. He can be that man."

She looked up and said, "I love only two men in this world. It matters to me that you approve of him. I need you in my life - always."

"Where's this coming from? I'm not going anywhere." He knit his brow in confusion.

She sighed out sadly, "You kinda did to me in a way. I couldn't come to you about everything that was going on in my life. It was a bit lonely at times. Not to say that I didn't have people there for me. I just need you too."

"Come here, granddaughter." He then hugged her as she sat next to him. "I'm here to listen to anything you need to talk about."

She burst out into tears and cried on his shoulder. "D-daddy's never going to l-love me!"

He wanted to beat Takashi with his sandal. Now that Takashi had become Elis, he was totally off the rails and horrible. Who knows what he said to Raye. The worst part was she couldn't even comfort herself with the idea that the real him didn't mean it. He might.

"Think of all the people who've taken the time to really get to know you and chose to love you." He wiped the tears off her face. "I'm sorry he won't learn to love you, but I don't think he was capable of love even before all this. That has nothing to do with the amazing woman you are. How fast did Serena love you? Loving you brought Jadeite back from the darkness. Loving you, having you here, made my life worth living. Without you, I'm an old man who's all alone. With you in my life… it's everything to me."

She sniffled and blushed in shame. "I know I should be over this by now. I'm -"

"No. You don't have to be anything by now. It's how you feel, and you're right. It's not fair."

She gave him a small smile, "See, you always help me to feel better."

"I have a feeling Jadeite does that too. I'm happy you'll have both of us to help you when you feel down. Now, tell me about what you saw in the Great Fire today."

She gave him a huge smile then, "Your future. I wanted to see how you and Jadeite would get along."

"And?" he pressed.

"He should just go ahead and apply to Kokugakuin University now," she said beaming.

"He's going to take over for me when I'm too old to continue?"

"Yeah, and you two will end up becoming really close. We're going to be a great family unit all living here together."

He looked at her in absolute shock, "You don't move away?"

"No way, Grandpa. The Great Fire says we're staying right here. You might as well accept that. You can't argue with fate."

She smiled as she watched the emotions play out on his face. She knew he was thrilled to hear that she and Jadeite would choose to stay at the shrine with him.

Darien didn't know what to make of a very annoyed-looking Sammy at his door. "Your sister isn't here. Can I help you?" he asked as he let him in.

Once Darien shut the door, Sammy said, "You're Tuxedo Mask, and my sister is Sailor Moon. Don't deny it!"

"Umm…. I…" he completely froze and couldn't come up with an excellent counter to what Sammy said. It was the last thing he had been expecting him to say.

"Crap! You were supposed to deny it all! I had a crush on my sister! That's vile!"

Darien looked at him in shock, "Sorry?"

"If you tell anyone about the crush, I'm going to be pissed."

"I won't tell anyone. After all, you're going to be my brother, and I think we should keep some things between the family."

"Thank you," Sammy said, calming down. "Hey, will you come to my school as Tuxedo Mask and tell the girls we're friends?"

Darien laughed, "No way. Nice try."

He shrugged it off, "It was worth a shot."

Lita laid in Nephrite's arms and sighed for the third time. "Okay, I'm not super observant, but even I can tell something's wrong," he said.

"It's no-"

"Don't say 'nothing'."

She turned to look at him. "What will our wedding look like? It's not like we have any family to show up."

He pressed her to her back and said, "Don't be ridiculous. Of course, we do."

"I'm an orphan, don't you remember?"

He rolled his eyes at her. "I remember everything about you. I also know that family doesn't have to be blood-related. Tell me that you don't have five sisters. Four of them you knew in a previous life."

"Yeah, but isn't that, I don't know… different?"

"Because you all get along, and no one's fighting? Probably, yeah," he teased. "But they are family in every way that matters. Try telling Serena you don't see her as a sister, and I bet she'd start screaming at you or crying. With her, I'm never quite sure of her reaction."

Lita laughed, "It's a fifty-fifty shot on that one. You're right, though. I'd hurt her if I said that because she would truly believe I'm family."

"Same with the rest of the girls."

"Thank you. It's going to be a beautiful wedding."
