Thank you Blueeyeddevil06, for being my beta! Thank you for the brainstorming session that now covers the plot through the end of this story. You are a huge help and encouragement.
Elis pulled out his laptop while he sat on the throne at D Point. He loved the old mixed with the new. He always felt the most content when he sat on the throne back when he was King of Earth.
He opened up his file on Metalia and updated it with his newest readings. While he'd collected quite a lot on her and knew all her weaknesses, he still had no way of going about killing her without access to more power - power he knew she wouldn't give to him willingly.
Despite that frustration, he was still smiling. Beryl was dead, and he controlled D Point and all the youma there. He was one more step towards his goal. Now he just had to find that damn Silver Crystal. He planned on using the power of the crystal to steal the Golden Crystal from his reincarnated son.
Serena was nervous about the family dinner they were headed to that night. Darien told her that Sammy knew who she was, and she worried it would be really awkward.
They were about to leave for dinner, and Darien's heart was wrenching out of his chest. He hated the look in Serena's eyes. He knew she felt guilty for hiding her identity in the first place, and now that Sammy knew, it would mean she was even more aware of the secret between them. She couldn't pretend that it didn't exist.
He pulled her into his arms and kissed the top of her head, "We should tell them tonight."
"What?"
He cupped her cheek and tipped her head up to look at him. "Your parents should know who we are. They are trustworthy and deserve to know the truth. I say we tell them everything."
She nodded and gave him a peck on the lips. "Are you sure?"
"Absolutely." What he didn't say was that he wanted them to know too. He respected them, and they were the first people to feel like parents to him.
Lita giggled when Nephrite came into the room dressed up in a uniform. "Why in the world are you dressed like that, Neph?"
"It's Sergeant to you, pretty lady."
She raised one eyebrow at him, "Sergeant? What are you getting at?"
He pulled her from the kitchen towards their bedroom. He laid her on the bed, fanning her beautiful brown hair out all around her. He then said, "I'm Sergeant O because I command your pleasure." He got a feral grin on his face when he watched her squirm at his words and the tone of his voice.
"And who am I in this scenario?"
He caressed her neck and said, "The damsel in distress. Word is that you desperately need an orgasm, and I believe I'm just the man for the job." He grazed his hand over her bare thigh and up under her skirt. He then felt along her panties and smiled, "The reports are true. You're dripping wet. Lucky for me, you're incredibly sexy. I'm going to enjoy this special mission."
She almost giggled, but he thrust two fingers inside of her, and she moaned out instead. With the other hand, he pulled off her panties. He was right. She desperately wanted an orgasm now.
"You're so tight," he praised as he curled his fingers inside of her. "I'll have to remember to thank my Staff Sergeant for recommending me for this mission."
She smiled up at him. "Did he warn you about me? I'm hard to please, but I'm a screamer when you succeed."
"I plan on being half deaf when I complete my mission. I'm incredibly good at my job. Just trust me to take care of you."
"Always," she vowed.
Metalia floated through the darkness of space. Her sisters were all spread throughout the galaxy, and she hadn't seen any of them for over seven thousand years. Since the war came and her kind had to scatter to survive, she lived in perpetual darkness and silence.
She shifted her gaseous mass and changed directions yet again. She was wandering around without any destination in mind. It was breaking her apart day by day.
By now, she had made the decision to search out power to have the ability to locate her kind. Without more power, she knew she would be left to drift alone forever.
Five hundred more years passed, and by this time, something fundamental inside of her had broken. Now her need for power wasn't to restore her family. It was to control and destroy. She was bitter and angry. All the loneliness had altered her and left her fundamentally different.
It was a seething ball of gas, anger, resentment, and the desire to conquer that found Beryl. A woman who matched her desperation and one she could use to obtain her own goals. She had located the power source she needed - the Legendary Silver Crystal.
That night after dinner, Darien insisted they all sit in the family room. He announced that he and Serena had something to tell them. He watched Sammy's shoulders sag in relief. He knew he guessed what they were going to say. He did feel guilty when he noticed the tension in her parents' shoulders; damn, they thought Serena was pregnant.
When they sat, Serena started by saying, "No. I'm not pregnant. That isn't what this is about at all, so you can both unclench your jaws."
Her father sighed in relief. "I want you to finish school."
"We would help you, of course, with the baby if -"
Serena interrupted, "This is a moot point. I'm not pregnant. Although when we tell you the whole story, you might wish that was what our news was," she teased.
"What could possibly make us think that?" her father asked.
Darien deadpanned, "Your baby girl is Sailor Moon and fights youma. On top of that, she's the Moon Princess and holder of the Legendary Silver Crystal that the Negiverse is looking for. It can create or destroy universes."
"Please tell me this is all just an elaborate joke to get me to be okay with the idea that you're pregnant," Kenji begged.
The curtains were closed, so Serena stood up and said, "Moon Prism Power, Make Up!" She then transformed into Sailor Moon in front of their eyes.
Kenji glared at Darien, "And what're you doing to protect her?!"
As Darien pulled out a rose and transformed into Tuxedo Mask, he said, "Everything I possibly can."
That night, her family listened in rapt attention to the story of their past life together. When they left and went back home, her father held his wife and whispered into her ear, "He was right. I wish she were pregnant." She giggled, and they fell asleep holding each other
Unazuki waited for her tennis coach. He was incredibly late, and she was starting to get concerned something had happened to him. She was about to make a phone call when a stranger walked up to her, smiling.
"Hello, I'm Masato Sanjoin. Your coach called me in since he's sick. I'm going to step in and train you until he gets better."
"Will he be alright?" she asked in concern.
"He has a high fever and chills. He's staying home and working on getting better. He'll be fine."
He then gave her a huge grin and said, "Show me your backhand swing." He watched as she practiced, and he released dark energy into her, giving her more force behind every swing.
