"How are you feeling, Subaru?" The blonde therapist asked as she sat down in her chair. "Have you been having any panic attacks or depressive episodes?" Clipboard in one hand, pen in the other, she forced herself into work mode.

Subaru blinked once, twice, and glanced around the room. The stone walls, one window facing north, a few potted plants and a desk didn't really give that "therapist" feel, but Emilia suggested it so he shall do so.

"Subaru?"

He looked at her, and realised she was staring at him expectantly.

"Oh sorry, I blanked out... What was the question again?" He scratched his chin, his face in an absolute neutral pose while his voice stays monotonous.

"I was asking if you've been hav-"

"I have, yes." He processed what she had said the first time halfway through her repetition, he didn't like interrupting her but he had a killer headache right now and every noise irritated him.

"Right, and have you been having deprecating or dark thoughts around those times?"

Subaru stared at the stone wall, zoning out once more. The blonde therapist sighed and rubbed her temples.

"Reinhard, you say that you feel that you are a monster, would you care to elaborate on why you think so?" She looked up from her notepad and looked at the red head, awaiting an answer.

"Well, it is because I am." He responded politely. Not a single hint of emotion was shown on his face nor his voice. His eyes however, were full of such trauma and self hatred.

She scribbled down a few things on her notepad. Self-depreccation issues, zero self esteem.

"Deprecation is spelt with only one c, Miss Taylor."

The blonde therapist looked up from her notes, then looked back down. "Ah right thanks, and please, call me Samant-..." It clicked in her head, did he just use a Divine Protection to read her notes? Did he even do it on purpose?

"No, Miss Taylor. Some of my Divine Protections work beyond my control."

She sighed and gripped her hair. Why did she say yes to this?

"So, Julius. Please explain to me your thought process, when you beat up that man?"

Julius rubbed his chin, in thought, then looked back at her. "Well, Lady Taylor, he made a mockery of what it is to be a man. Such offence should be punished. Laying hands on a passerby is a crime onto itself."

An incredible sense of Pride and Justice, he's a knight and all but he nearly killed that man. Maybe some issues growing up? Possibly the propaganda from the military got to him. Or maybe that's just how Nobles are raised.

She zoned back into reality, and noticed Julius in the exact same position as before, not having moved an inch.

"Julius, I understand why you did it, but don't you think you took it too far?"

Julius scratched his head, once more deep in thought. After a solid twelve seconds of silence, he looked back at her. "No."

She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"-and she took down the White Whale like wham! She cut right through the fog with her sword! She's truly amazing!"

"Felix, you have been talking a lot about Crusch-sama, and not much about yourself."

"Well, that is to be expected. Did you hear how Crusch-sama fought against the Sin Ar-"

She groaned internally and bit the inside of her cheek.
