Regina was surprised how soon Emma returned, "did you even see Storybrooke?"

"I told you I wasn't hanging around."

"Did you talk to your parents or the children?"

"I explained everything to my parents. The children said to tell you how much they love and miss you. Here," the blonde handed Regina a homemade card.

Regina's eyes welled up, "they're so sweet. I really miss them."

"Well, here," Emma handed Regina her wig and makeup, "put this on and don't ask questions." Emma got out her laptop. She typed something in and turned the device around so Regina could see their children on the screen.

"Hi, mommy," they said.

"Hi, babies," Regina was near tears, "are you having fun with your grandparents?"

"Yeah, they took us on a nature walk," Oliver said.

"We got to make crafts," Odette told her mothers, "I made a jewelry box for you." The five-year-old held it up.

"That's beautiful," Regina said, "why don't you have grandma put it on my nightstand?"

"Okay!" the little one was so excited.

"I made mama a box for whatever," Faline said.

Regina chuckled, "she has a lot of whatever and could use a box. That's beautiful too. You both did a great job."

"I made a birdhouse," Oliver said as he held it up.

"I made a bird feeder," Remy said holding his creation up.

"I bet grandpa could find a place to hang those, outside," Regina said, "the birds that come to our house are going to love those. Beautiful work," Regina noticed someone was missing, "where's Henry?"

"He's with Archie," Remy said, "his session is today and mama called after he left."
Regina looked at Emma who nodded. "I miss you all so much and I love the card you made me."

"Grandma helped," Odette said.

"Is grandma there?"

Regina saw her children wave Snow over. The princess came into view, "hi, Regina. You look good."

"You're lying, but thank you. I don't usually look like this. Now I know why Emma handed me the wig and makeup. Is everything going alright?"

"Yeah, everything's great. These are great kids and you've both done a terrific job."

"Thank you," Regina said. "I've loved their phone calls and the things you've helped them make."

"Well, we all really wanted to help boost your spirits. Emma gave me some information and I know it's easy to lose hope. I also know that you hate hearing me preach about hope."

"Actually, I don't mind anymore. Emma's been taking over for you."

"I know that you could sit here with them all day, but we should probably let you get some rest."

The children all waved and said 'bye' and 'love you'. "Thank you," Regina said to Emma after the call ended. Emma leaned over and kissed Regina's forehead. Regina picked up the card and looked at it again. She pointed at Henry's name, "Remy signed Henry's name."

"No, he didn't. Why would he?"

"Because Henry wouldn't sign it and the handwriting is nearly identical to Remy's. I know the boys handwriting and that's not Henry's."

Emma looked at the two names and realized that Regina was right. "Well, he really is at an appointment with Archie."

"I know," she said.

"We could eat outside for dinner."

"I'd like that." Regina pulled the blankets back and held onto the bed railing as she moved her legs off the bed. Emma took Regina's arm. The woman was incredibly weak and unsteady on her feet. Regina hissed in pain as weight was placed on her left leg.

"What's wrong?"

"It's my hip and knee."

"Can you walk?"

"Yeah, but I should probably use the cane just in case."

Emma grabbed the walking aid that was between the bed and the nightstand. She handed it to Regina and held onto her as they walked out to the courtyard where they enjoyed their dinner.
