Four months after the fire, Regina didn't need her cane or wheelchair anymore. Emma put them away but kept them where she could easily access them should Regina need them. One day, Emma, David, Snow, and Henry were all out of the loft. Emma and David had received an anonymous call and had to check something out. Henry was at school and Snow was on her way to pick him up. Regina said she'd be fine because it was only going to be a few minutes. When Snow and Henry walked into the loft Snow noticed that Regina wasn't on the couch where she had left her. They looked everywhere including upstairs. Snow called David to tell him. He and Emma immediately gave up on the anonymous call and began searching for Regina. Henry's dad had shown up and was shockingly Gold's long-lost son. Something no one saw coming. He met Emma and David to help with the search. Snow took Henry to Granny's and then went to meet the others. They eventually ended up at the Cannery. Emma and Neal took one side while Snow and David took the other. It was Snow and David who had located Regina. David shot at Greg Mendell and started to go after him when he ran.

"David!" Snow yelled and her husband stopped and turned to find out why.

The prince ran over to the metal table, "is she alive?"

"Yes, but barely. We have to get her home and get help."

David lifted the woman and carried her to the truck and then up to the loft. Regina remained unconscious for a little over an hour. Her eyes flickered open, "Snow, David, you saved me?"

"Of course we...wait a minute!" David came to a sudden realization and the look on his wife told him she had noticed it too. "How did you know it was me and Snow? We didn't say anything."

Regina smiled, "I can see again."

"That's wonderful," Snow said happily before she and David gently hugged the woman.

"Too bad it took electrocuting me to do it. When this is all finished, I should probably get another brain scan. Who knows what they did to me."

"Blue healed you."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, now you need to rest a bit longer. When you're feeling more up to it then you can get out of bed. Don't rush things," David said sternly.

"Yes, daddy," Regina said jokingly.

"I hate when you do that."

"Really, because I love it," Snow said.

"Careful, you just might be next."

Snow and David returned a few hours later to find Regina walking towards them. Emma and Henry followed. "I see you found Emma and Henry," Regina said.

"Actually we...see?! You can see?" Emma asked.

Regina just smiled before Emma and Henry enveloped her in a hug. "I guess now we can proceed with things."

"I guess so," Emma smiled at her girlfriend.

"Greg and Tamara are dead," David said. "Unfortunately they already activated the trigger."

"I need to find it," Regina said.

"No way," Emma stopped her girlfriend, "you just got your sight back and I don't want to take the chance of you losing it." With a puff of purple smoke, Regina was gone, "I hate when she does that."

Everyone took off and split up to look for Regina. Emma went out on her own while everyone else went off in pairs.

Regina had a feeling where the trigger had been activated. The one place no one would see it would be the mines. Regina only knew of one way to destroy the trigger after activation and she hoped that she was strong enough to do it.

"Regina, no!" Emma yelled but it was too late. Regina had placed her hands around the device. Emma had the same thought as Regina. What if she's not strong enough. Especially after everything she had just been through.

Emma ran up to the device, "what are you doing?" Regina asked nervously.

"Helping," Emma placed her hands around the device, and together the women were able to destroy it. David and Snow had followed their daughter. Once Regina and Emma had destroyed the trigger, they were thrown in opposite directions. David and Snow helped Emma up and Emma ran to help Regina, "are you alright? What about your sight?"

"I'll be a bit sore for a couple of days and my sight is fine."

"Great, that's really great, but if you ever do that again I'll saw that entire apple tree down."

"Yes, dear."

David and Snow smiled at the two. They loved how happy the two women were and couldn't be happier for them.
