It was supposed to be like any other normal winter holiday for Cody Devon. Until one night, a strange woman dressed in black. Appeared in his room and plucked him from his home. Awakening from the strange event in an even stranger world. In an even stranger place. All that he knew, is that he had to use his own knowledge and skills in order to survive.(AU)

Chapter 09

Celesta, Alsace, Brune, April sixteenth, SY1014

Vorn manor, Cody's Bedroom

What a Day, I wonder what's going on with all the noises. Thought Cody Devon as the young man slowly opened his eyes only to greeted by the gaze of ruby eyes peering from silver bangs. The buxom figure was sitting on top of him in a straddling position, which caused Cody to feel a bulging sensation between his legs. As the friction of the fabric between them as her attire indicated somebody of status.

"Good morning, Cody Devon"

"Wait a Minute, what are you doing Eleonora Viltaria!?" exclaimed Cody, as his gaze moved up subconsciously along Eleonora's body to her face. Which exuded a light blush from the silver haired war maiden. The latter getting off Cody's hips and sat on the side of the bed.

"Oh my? It seems your top half and lower half don't fully agree" Eleonora let a teasing smile to form on her face. Guess that rumour of Cody Devon not being accustomed to attractive girls was true, Eleonora got up off the bed and asked "Do you want to first meet Tigre?" in a more polite yet still informal voice that smile never leaving her face.

Without another word, Cody nodded Tigre's Alive, he'd possibly be upset with my rashness. Sitting up with his erection still at full mast, he went to get dressed. Hoping the his bulge in his pants would die down after a while, he decided to get dressed. Oh how wrong he was, as little did he know another beautiful lady had accompanied them. Along with a Familiar face, one that would not let recent events slide easily.

Vorn manor, Main Common room

Slowly he took steps, out of his room only to be greeted by his brother. Collin holding one of his battle rifle prototypes that was used in the battle of Celesta. A rifle that closely resembled and based off the Madsen LAR rifle from earth. The Iconic Right arm of the free world, Eleonora and Collin were discussing something until both of their gazes met with Cody's.

"Finally, Little bro's awake" Collin spoke with a loving yet mildly sarcastic tone of voice as he took the magazine out of the gun he was holding and racked the bolt "You got some explaining to do". Placing the rifle on the table, he awaited.

"Well, it kind of started with Dimitri Volkov" With that Cody begun explaining all that transpired up till that point.

45 minutes later

"Wait, you are saying that all that transpired was because you were left with no choice" Eleonora looked at Cody's uniform sure the quality of materials were not great. But it was simple, clean and to the point. Which Cody nodded.

"Yes, which is why I took up arms to protect my new home" Cody looked with eyes of steeled resolve. Which got the response of the sound of a fist hitting the table.

"Look Cody, I Admire the patriotism but still your my brother!" Collin spoke with a stern voice as his stature towered over Cody even when slightly hunched "That still does not excuse you to introduce gunpowder and modern weapons!".

"If I had not, neither Alsace nor myself would be alive right now" Cody retained his resolve, not moving an inch as he spoke those words. A tear had begun to be shed from Collin's eye.

"But why did it have to come at the possibility of a world war?"

"Collin Devon" Eleonora moved to cup her hands upon her secretaries face moving his gaze to look her in the eyes "From what I can tell you brother, Cody had seen this world of ours as an escape from a cage of persecution and idleness" Narrowing her eyes with sternness in her voice "do you intend to lock him up within a golden cage of selfish pity?".

"No, why would I do something so cruel?" Wiping the tears away, Collin glanced over to Cody "Alright Cody if you insist on being in this war, Can I ask is that your troops be given a break to resupply and rest for now".

Cody smiled "Fine, I'll sit this next one out", Could use the time off to start my latest project.

Turning around they saw that Tigre and Mashas along with Limisha and Titta. Whom had overheard everything, Some giving a neutral expression while Tigre and Titta gave a sympathetic look. The Former knowing what it's like to lose someone whom is family.

Later on in the day after Tigre and Eleonora's Departure for the Molshime Plains

While the Remainder of Zion's forces along with Zion himself were going to be dealt with by Tigre and his party of five Collin, Limilisha, Eleonora and Rurick. Along with the ropes they assembled from ropes they gathered, all the while Cody's forces were ordered to help with repairs and rebuilding of damaged buildings from the fighting the day before. Thought it was mundane, it was nice change of pace from the usual drills and fighting they went through. Cody meanwhile went to his workshop, to commence the final assembly of his latest invention.

An invention that would mark that the future of warfare, was here to stay.

Later on that evening, in Cody's personal workshop

Cody was working on the final assembly of the gun turret for his newest project, one that used a prototype internal combustion diesel engine. This steel behemoth weighed eighteen metric tons, Originally 'born' in factories, delivered by engineers. Virtually immune to the projectiles of the regular soldier, unbothered by the burdens of the land. The tank, one of many inventions that marked the future of warfare and civilization.

Unbeknownst to Cody, a portal of void opened up behind him. Once again, the woman he met before the battle, Valentina Glinka Estes stepped out and into his workshop. As Cody finished installing the gun mantle, he looked up with a blush upon seeing whom it was "Well, welcome to my workshop Lady Valentina".

Valentina walked up to the hull of the tank and begun to stroke a finger on it "Such a fine piece, I assume you've read my letter have you not?". Taking her finger off of the unpainted metallic surface, the rusted silver sheen giving a indication of the metal it was made of "I do wonder what you hope to achieve, with your fires of innovation". Valentine then walked up to Cody getting within one meter of him. Causing Cody to blush even more, his cheeks turning an even deep shade of crimson. Doing his best to not get an erection, which caused Valentina to smile.

"Well I did, not sure if I am ready to make such a commitment yet" Cody said sheepishly, the contents of the letter were borderline erotic. "Thought that does not mean I'm open to the idea" Cody let a smile creep upon his lips, unsure of what to do. Maybe he'll ask his brother for advice.

Valentina let a light-hearted chuckle come forth, "Well my offer still stands, since you are still open to the idea". With the she turned around and used her scythe to open a new portal of void, glancing back at Cody with a teasing tone on her voice "if you change your mind, my bed could always use one more".

With that, Valentina sauntered through the portal with it closing behind her.

Cody looked down and saw yet another erection. Things were going to get real messy as realigned and bolted the recoil assembly onto the gun mantle. Sighing he let out a word "Unbelievable". Then looked back down at his tent in his pants.

"I really need to get that thing under control".

The next Day, April 17th SY 1014, Molshime Plains

Zion had patiently awaited for Cody's forces to show. Before the battle he gave and overviewing glance of his forces. Smirking as Zion's gaze lingered on the now unleashed dragons. One a Brass Coloured Land Dragon, the Other a silver winged dragon.

"Just watch, Devon you're done mocking me"

The First line of defense was made up of foot soldiers armed with spears and Axes. These were lightly armoured as to capitalize on manoeuvrability in close quarters. The second group were mounted knights armed with swords and lances. Then behind them were his trump cards, his two dragons. With the main force situated behind that.

A Brunish stratergy deisgn to fight and win on grassy plains. Thought when the enemy came over the hill, Zion saw a black dragon and the Vorn household banner. The main force was of three thousand, where another force of two thousand were waiting on the other side of the hill to his left.

"That's the Zechted army, what the heck are they doing over here!?" Then certain marks man armed with a black bow with familiar red spike hair. The sight enough to make Zion's blood boil. At the top of his lungs he shouted one name.

"VORN!"

It seems that some of you want Ellen to be with Cody instead of Tigre. Though I do have an idea of who will get which girl. I have more or less planned how the pairings/harems will go. I leave you with a list of confirmed ships. Be warned contains names of characters that will appear later on. In no particular order. Apologies if the chapter's of late were on the short side. I'll likely focus on Lim and Collin's POV for the next battle/couple of chapters. Cody will be the protagonist, while his brother and Tigre are the Deuteragonist and Tritagonist respectively.* means pending.
