Chapter 28 – Epilogue
The Border Bros. petitioned for the Border Jump to be recognized as an official Beanbean sport. Despite several trip-ups, their campaign was ultimately successful, and the Border Jump would be included as an event in the next Beanbean Games.
After witnessing what they believed to be a real alien sighting, the Starshade Brothers left their jobs to become full-time alien researchers. Surprisingly enough, they managed to find a crashed UFO somewhere near the Mushroom Kingdom. No one knows what happened to them afterwards.
Blablanadon returned to Hoohoo Village, where he began to make a living of ferrying tourists to and from Hoohoo Mountain. He made many earnings from his work, which he used to buy a rather luxurious nest to rest his weary body every day.
The Hammerhead Brothers expanded their franchise as Hammersmiths all over the Beanbean Kingdom. They soon ventured into other product lines, such as really tough jewelry and Hoohoo Block shields, and today they are the biggest business in all of Beanbean.
Starbeans Café grew in popularity, and today it is the go-to place for sampling great coffee blends, holding meetings, or just to hang out. Professor E. Gadd frequented his own establishment, but he eventually left for other ventures and left the store to his cashier.
Queen Bean and Prince Peasley returned to the Beanbean throne, with Lady Lima and the other servants returning to business as usual. Life in Beanbean Castle gradually returned to normal, though if you asked any of the royal guards about Mario and Luigi, they'd ponder who they were.
Cork and Cask went back to running Chateau de Chucklechuck, as is usual for them. Fortunately, with the threat of Cackletta gone, security around Chucklechuck Woods relaxed a little, and many more tourists were able to get a taste of famous Chuckola Cola.
Popple ended up in Little Fungitown, where he was immediately arrested after attempting to rob the local arcade. He was sentenced to community service, where the Toads would ironically refer to him by the name that he would always call his underlings.
It is unknown what happened to Bubbles ever since he fled the Mother Chuckola. Rumors that spread like wildfire state that if one were to venture deep into the woods, they could hear some angry muttering about "red and green" and how they would create the perfect soda to destroy them.
The S.S. Chuckola remains underwater in Oho Ocean for all eternity until it probably dries up and it would end up the way it was before. But since the crew were all living skeletons, it didn't matter too much to them. Work just ended up going more slowly. Really slowly.
Spangle eventually went on tour, and took Hermie with him as his travelling stage. The former ended up becoming a star (no pun intended) overnight, while the latter was satisfied enough just showing off his decorated shell. The duo was beloved by music fans worldwide.
After taking a trip to Oho Oasis, the Jellyfish Sisters closed down their massage parlor and opened up a school that teaches their Firebrand and Thunderhand techniques. Not many students have signed up yet, mostly due to their outrageous fees.
Harhall/Bleetch/Whatever opened up a chain of clothing stores specializing in his Splart formula. While his clothing line was famous to many, he always found himself understaffed because most were unwilling to work for him due to the demands of Splart.
Jojora and her friends built a barricade around Joke's End in order to ward off any more intruders that would harm them for no reason (or so that's what they said). It didn't really matter much anyway since almost no one visits the isolated castle.
Cackletta's most best pupil, who is named Fawful, was declared missing after several days of searching by the royal guards. Though Prince Peasley assured that he was no longer a problem, sightings of a cloaked figure entering the Mushroom Kingdom border could prove otherwise…
Boddle opened the Yoshi theater to great success, boasting hundreds of moviegoers every day. To date, its most successful movie is this one. Yes. The one you were watching just now.
THE END
The audience of Yoshis gave out a hearty applause as the curtains closed on Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga: The Movie.
"So, what did you think of the premiere?" Boddle asked Mario and Luigi, who were in the audience as well.
"I think it was super!" Mario answered.
"The book was still better." Said Luigi.
AN: If you've stuck around 'till the end, then I congratulate you.
Now, the question is: will I cover the other Mario & Luigi games? Maybe, maybe not. But I hope that if I do, then you'll be back for them too.
