It had been four days since Zelena was defeated and died in her cell. "I think that maybe, just maybe, things will quiet down for a while," Emma said.

"I think you're drunk," Regina joked.

"I don't drink when I'm pregnant."

Regina jerked her head towards Emma, "what?" Emma just smiled and Regina threw her arms around her. "Wait," she pulled back, "did you know this whole time that you were pregnant?"

"You really wanna go down that road?"

"No, I don't," Regina smiled.

"I got checked out after the fight yesterday. Everything is just fine."

"We're going to have five children. At least two are older. I would love to be pregnant again."

"I know," Emma said with sympathy.

"I don't care how my babies were conceived. I still love them and love having them." Regina had kept a secret from everyone except Emma. Yes, she had carried and birthed Remy, Odette, and Hope. Their conceptions were far from ideal.

Emma was now six months pregnant. She was sitting with Regina and going over some files. Regina answered a call from her doctor. She had a physical and was awaiting the test results. When she hung up, she was speechless. "Is everything okay?" Emma asked.

"I'm pregnant," Regina said, "five weeks along."

"What?"

"Please don't make me talk about it."

"I won't but I'm here if you decide you want to."

"Let's tell everyone I was inseminated."

"Okay," Emma placed an arm around Regina and kissed her temple.

Snow and David were thrilled at the idea of another grandchild on the way. Emma still had three months to go and her parents decided to stay with the Mills family until two weeks after Emma gave birth. They knew that neither woman wanted the other doing too much and this way they could prevent that more easily. The truth about Regina's unborn child's conception wouldn't remain a secret forever. The truth always has a way of coming out. Sometimes in the worst way.

Regina was now four months pregnant and Emma was at the home stretch. During the night, Emma's water broke.

"Stay here and I'll get your parents," Regina said. She grabbed her cane and carefully made it up the stairs.

David was startled awake when Regina nudged him. He shot up in bed when he saw the woman, "hey, what's wrong? Are you alright?"

"Emma's water broke."

"Let's go," David said. "Snow, hey," he waited for his wife to look at him, "Emma's in labor. I'm going to take them to the hospital and be right back." His wife nodded and fell back asleep. David held onto Regina as they made their way down the stairs. "I'll get Emma, and you head to the car. Unless you need help."

"I'm fine," Regina smiled.

Once Emma was checked in, David returned to the mayor's home which was slowly becoming the entire family's home. Regina sat in a chair by Emma's bed, "why do I feel like this is going to take forever?" Emma asked.

"Because you're pessimistic."

"Really? You're calling me pessimistic."

"Don't get too worked up, dear."

"Why don't you take a nap on the couch? I'll have them wake you if it's time before you wake up."

"I'm fine."

"Honey, you can barely keep your eyes open."

"Maybe I'll take a nap in this chair."

"Why don't you want to lie down?"

"I do, but I'm not sure how well I'll be able to move."

Emma's doctor walked in to check her. She and Regina never used Whale after the curse was broken.

"Doc, could you do me a favor?"

"Possibly," he said.

"Regina needs to lie down but is worried she's not steady enough to move."

"Say no more," the doctor walked over and helped Regina to her feet. Emma was glad Regina waited for help because she wasn't steady at all.

"Thanks, Doc," Emma said once Regina was on the couch.

"It's no trouble." He turned to Regina, "just try to rest, and if either of you needs anything don't hesitate to let someone know." The doctor walked over to the closed and grabbed a blanket he then handed to Regina before leaving.

"Are you mad at me?" Emma asked.

"No, I honestly don't know what I do without you."

"Apparently bury your heart in the woods."

"Once, I did that one time and I took it back right away."

"Get some sleep."

"You try to as well." Regina laid down on the couch and covered up with the blanket.
