Regina had slept for several hours at Emma's insistence. It wasn't until Emma was ready to push that she had a nurse wake Regina. The mayor's eyes slowly opened, "huh?" she asked still waking up.

"Emma's ready to start pushing," the nurse said softly.

Regina went to sit up but needed the nurse to help her. The woman also helped the mayor to her feet and held on as she made her way to Emma. Regina was still waking up and could have fallen if the nurse hadn't helped her. "Why didn't you wake me sooner?" Regina asked the blonde.

"You needed the rest."

"Are you alright?"

"I'm tired, but I'm good. I'm ready to be done."

Regina leaned her cane against the nightstand and took Emma's hand, "you're almost there," the doctor said. Regina held Emma's hand the entire time she pushed. "You have a baby boy," the doctor said as a strong cry filled the room. Emma and Regina cried tears of joy. They cut the umbilical cord together and the baby was placed on Emma's chest.

"He's beautiful," Regina said, "you did an incredible job." The brunette kissed the top of Emma's head.

After the baby was cleaned up, he was handed to Regina. Emma sent a message to the family that they could come back.

Everyone fussed over the newborn.

"So, what's his name?" Snow asked enthusiastically.

"Oliver David Mills," Emma answered.

David was deeply touched by the gesture. He kissed the top of his daughter's head. "That's so sweet. I can't believe Regina let you do that."

"I lost a bet," Regina joked.

"She's just kidding," Emma said.

"I know that," David told his daughter.

"I never said I was kidding," Regina laughed.

"So, dad," Emma said changing the subject while everyone laughed, "anything new at work?"

"Yeah, unfortunately, a few of the women in town have been sexually assaulted. All by the same guy, but we can't match DNA because he's not in any system. He has to be from another realm. The victims all said he used magic, but not on them. He said they weren't good enough to carry his spawn and he wasn't going to waste perfectly good magic on them."

"Regina, are you alright?" Snow asked. David and Emma looked at the woman and saw all the color had drained from her face.

"Honey," Emma reached for Regina's hand, "Regina! Look at me!"

Regina slowly turned her head towards Emma, "what?" she said so softly that only Emma could hear her.

"You need to tell them."

"I can't," she said as she cried.

"What about the other women?"

"Is everything alright?" Snow asked concerned.

"Um, David," Regina turned towards the deputy, "I need to, um," Regina froze and felt Emma squeeze her hand to encourage her. "I need to report a sexual assault. Well, three actually."

Snow and David were silent from shock. "Sure," he said softly, "are you alright if I record it? I don't have a pad on me."

"That's fine," Regina said. "Snow, would you sit with me?"

"Sure," Snow moved another chair over so she could sit with Regina. David got another chair from the hall and sat facing the women.

Once David had started recording, Regina recounted the three times she had been raped. All three by the same man. The man who attacked the other women. "Can I ask you a question? Maybe a couple?" David asked. Regina just nodded. "Why did he not use magic on the other women? What does that have to do with carrying his 'spawn?'"

"He's sterile and can only impregnate using magic. He rapes to see if you are a 'fit'. Then he uses magic on you if he finds you are."

"Does he know you have two children by him and a third on the way?"

"I don't think so. I told him after he used his magic that I had taken a potion long ago to render me infertile."

"Why would he try two more times?"

"He found out that before he raped me the first time that I had taken a potion to reverse the one from the Enchanted Forest. I told him that I did get pregnant, but I miscarried. I conjured up fake evidence to show him. That's why he did a second time."

"And the third?"

"He had visited me while I was pregnant the second time, but when he touched my stomach he became angry. He said I was carrying two girls and he didn't want daughters. He used magic on me in an attempt to terminate the pregnancy. Gold was able to perform healing magic on me, but we weren't sure if both were saved."

"So he thinks he terminated your second pregnancy?"

"Yes, and he's possibly the reason Hope died during birth."

"Has he contacted you since the last rape?"

"No, and I hope he doesn't."

"I know that you may not want to know the gender of your baby and that's fine. Would you allow the doctor to tell me so that I can anticipate his next move should he find out about your pregnancy?"

"I already have you and Snow down as emergency contacts and people who can inquire about my medical file."

"Really?" Snow said excitedly.

A small smile formed on Regina's face, "you just get excited about anything, don't you?"

"What can I say? I'm a happy and optimistic person."

"Dad, maybe the two of you should stay with us until Regina gives birth," Emma said, "I know you were going to stay a couple of weeks to help us settle in, but it would probably be safer if you stayed longer. You could work from home once I go back to work."

"Regina, is that alright with you?" David asked.

"Yes, I just want you to get him," Regina could see that David was respecting her space and it warmed her heart.

"One last question. Do you know who raped you?"

"Yes," Regina said in a deep, emotional voice.

"You do?" Emma asked in shock.

"I didn't want you to go all Sheriff Swan so I didn't tell you."

"Is going 'Sheriff Swan' looking for a criminal who assaulted you?"

"Yes, but with you possibly ending their life upon finding them."

"Aww, she was trying to protect you," Snow said.

"Don't make me regret asking for you," Regina told Snow who laughed. "Anyway, his name is Rothbart and he is from the other realm."

"Can you describe what he looks like?"

"I can do you one better," with a wave of her hand, Regina conjured up a photo of the wanted sorcerer and handed it to David.

"I won't rest until he's caught," David said.

"That's just stupid," Regina blurted out and the whole room laughed.

"Regina, you are one of the strongest and bravest beings I have ever met," David told her.

"Thank you," Regina smiled softly. She let go of Snow and Emma before standing and motioning for David. She hugged the man and released the rest of her emotions.

"It's going to be okay," he whispered as he rubbed her back. "I will get justice for you. All of you."

"Thank you," Regina whispered. David helped her sit back down once the hug ended.

"I agree with David about your strength and bravery," Snow said. Regina squeezed her hand and gave her a thankful smile.

"I would say the same, but I've already told you hundreds of times. You never listen to me, though," Emma cracked.

"I treat you the same way you treat me," Regina came back with.

Emma looked at her parents, "yeah, we've been in a never-ending cycle for over a decade. It's been interesting."

"It sure has been, dear." Regina smiled. Emma motioned for her dad to take Oliver and hand him to Regina. The woman held her son and smiled. "Neal is Faline's father, isn't he?"

"Yes, and that was another insemination. We began the process before Neverland and finished it when we returned."

"Did he want to be in their lives?"

"He said that he would only play a role that was comfortable for you. He knew that you often worried about Henry abandoning you because you are not genetically linked to him. Neal did tell Henry they could hang out, but always told him that you are just as much his mom as I am."

"Snow, could you take Oliver?" Regina asked.

"Of course," Snow took her grandson from Regina.

The mayor grabbed her cane and stood. She kissed Emma and turned to David, "I have to run an errand. Do you think you could drive me?"

"Sure," he shrugged.

"Where are you going?" Emma asked.

Regina smiled, "I just need to do something. Don't worry, dear, I'll be good."

David gave Regina his arm and the two walked out. "You're worried," Snow observed.

"Only because I have no idea what that was. When she's angry then I know I can worry about her going all dark and if she is happy then I can worry about how many apple baked goods I'll come home or wake up to. I don't know what she was just now."

"She's with David so I wouldn't worry."

"I really feel like I'm even more worried because of that."

Snow thought for a moment, "well you're on maternity leave and he's in charge."

"So?"

"So, there's no law enforcement to arrest them if they act up."

"That doesn't worry you?"

"Let's switch the subject."

Emma sighed and did in fact leave that subject behind. She thought if she didn't talk about it that it would worry her more. She only hoped that Regina wasn't going to be in any danger.
