Emma went to the waiting room where her parents were. "What's wrong?" Snow asked as soon as she saw the grim look on her daughter's face.

"I don't know. I was told to leave shortly after the baby was born." Emma began to get choked up, "there was so much blood. I can't lose her. I can't lose Regina."

David and Snow hugged their daughter as she cried. The three sat together as they waited for any information about Regina. An hour later, the doctor walked out. "She's going to be alright. I would have told you sooner, but we needed to take her into surgery to stop the bleeding. Everything happened so quickly that we didn't have time. She hemorrhaged but we stoped it and replenished her blood. The nurse will take you to her room and bring your little girl in shortly."

"Thank you," Emma said through tears, "I'm just glad you were able to save her. Even if it meant a long hour for me." The doctor gave Emma a slight smile and left.

"Little girl?" Snow asked with a big smile.

Emma turned towards her parents, "oh, sorry, I didn't even tell you. Wait, dad didn't tell you?"

"I didn't like the idea of knowing before the two of you. The baby was born healthy and I figured it was best to wait until we heard about Regina."

A nurse came out and took the three to Regina's room. The woman was sitting up in bed, awake. Emma rushed to gently hug her. "I was so worried."

"I'm sorry," Regina whispered.

"Don't, it wasn't your fault."

"We need a name for our princess."

"That's all you," Emma said. "I named everyone except Odette and Remy."

"I'd like to name her after my mother," Regina said nervously.

"Then you should."

"Really? You're okay with that?"

"Yeah, of course I am."

"Stella Cora Mills," Regina said and pointed at the birth certificate.

"As you wish, your majesty."

Regina smiled at Emma and felt her heart melt. Emma always made her feel loved and wanted. She never turned her back on Regina no matter how many times Regina bailed. Even if it was for Emma's own protection. Regina thought that Daniel had been her true love, but she was wrong. For once she was happy to be wrong because it gave her another chance at the thing she had always wanted.

It was the family of eight's first night home together. Emma had finally put all of the children to bed. Snow and David were still staying for the week, so Emma took Regina out to the apple tree.

"I don't know if I've told you how proud I am of you recently," Emma said.

"You don't have to tell me every day."

"I know, but I like to."

"I'm proud of you too."

"We've known each other for what? Fourteen years?"

"Wow, that long?"

"I know," Emma said. "Well, I think that we need to make one more change around here."

"I think we have enough children."

Emma laughed, "no, that's not what I meant." She pulled out a small, velvet box and opened it, "I think it's time to make things official. Will you marry me?"

Regina was in shock, "yes, yes," she threw her arms around Emma who then placed the ring on her fiance's finger.

"So since I'm marrying a queen, what does that make me?"

"You were the heir so...queen," she laughed.

The couple walked back to the house where Snow and David were standing in the doorway. "It's about damn time," David said.

"Seriously, what took so long?" Snow asked.

"You could have just said 'congratulations,'" Emma told her parents.

"Congratulations!" David and Snow said before hugging the two women. Things were better than ever before.

Three months after Stella's birth, Emma and Regina tied the knot under their apple tree. The entire town showed up for the celebration. After Daniel's death, Regina had resigned herself to the fact that she would never have her happy ending. That all changed when Emma moved in and they began building their family. Neither knew the true identity of the other and their love was organic. Emma took Regina's name since their children all had the Mills last name. Henry, Remy, Odette, Faline, Oliver, Stella, Regina, and Emma Mills had a fairytale life. One filled with trials and triumphs, defeats and victories, and of course love and happiness. Emma was created to be the Savior of the Enchanted Forest, but Regina became Emma's savior along the way.
