Things will be really picking up from here on out. It's getting harder and harder to resist the temptation to post more than one chapter every two days.

Another night, another hunt. For some reason, it seemed that the time between monsters showing up was growing shorter and shorter to Lucia, as she swiveled her wrist and swung her bat, keeping her eyes peeled for whatever it was that had appeared.

Vee truly was talented, capable of feeling wherever a portal arrived, no matter how short a time. This one at least had the courtesy to pop up nearby, and with an illusion from Amelia, Lucia had once again snuck out of her room through the window, with her girlfriend by her side.

The two walked together, shivering in the cold October air. Lucia peeled her jacket off, and tossed it to her girlfriend, making the excuse that since she was a physical fighter she'd work up the sweat and keep herself warm that way when Amelia tried to argue that she should keep it.

Not that she had the time to argue, as they soon heard a loud noise that sounded like the clattering of a trash can. Racing down the street towards the sound, Lucia raised her bat, while Amelia kept her fingers at the ready, infused with the strength granted by the recently opened portal and the magic that spilled from it. Before either of them could swing, a rather pathetic plea met their ears.

"Please don't hurt me!"

Lucia stilled her bat before the blow could be struck, thinking of the last time a demon had the ability to talk, she hadn't turned out to be so bad. It was clearly a sign of intelligence, so it could be reasoned with, Maybe.

'It' turned out to be some kind of small pink monkey with a large spiked shell on its back, cowering pathetically in a pile of overturned trash it had clearly been trying to eat from the bin on the ground. It quivered and shook so much that Lucia honestly just felt sorry for the little guy, but she kept the bat trained on it anyway. "What are you?"

"I-I'm a Snaggleback!" The creature exclaimed, trying to retreat into its shell.

"Okay, Snaggleback, what are you doing here?" Amelia asked, keeping her expression neural as she observed it for any sign of treachery.

"I don't know! I was just minding my own business, and then I was here. I was hungry, so I thought I'd eat some of this tasty food someone left out in the bins. That's all!"

Lucia slumped, then shouldered the bat. "Alright, fine. Welcome to the Human Realm, you're eating trash."

The Snaggleback looked at the half eaten burger it held in his hands, a dour look of disappointment on his face, "Oh. Figures."

He perked up, "Wait, did you say the Human Realm? How am I supposed to get back home?!"

"Beats me," Lucia shrugged, but figured that while she still had a demon capable of speech, she may as well interrogate him, "Hey, quick question, have you seen anyone else like me over on your end? About shoulder height, short dark hair, acts like she's got a never ending sugar rush and answers by the name Luz?"

The Snaggleback blinked, then furrowed it's brow as it searched it's memory, "You know, I did! It was sort of a panicky moment, I almost got eaten, but there was a human around who helped save me! She was living with the Owl Lady."

Amelia grinned at her girlfriend, whose own face could only be described as unbelievably relieved. Hoping she wasn't about to rain on the girl's parade, she took the liberty to ask her own question, "and when did all this happen?"

The Snaggleback paused, and shrugged, "four, maybe five months ago? But I did see her a few times since then, even if we didn't talk. She was at a school dance I was, er, working at. I did a brief stint in entertainment, but it really didn't pay well enough." The creature let out a nervous laugh.

The Snaggleback scratched at his chin, "I think I saw her in the markets about two weeks ago? She's hard to miss, 'cause she's the only human around. I think she had a date or something, she had flowers on her."

That was all Lucia needed to know. Her sister was safe, and happy on the other side, on these Boiling Isles. "Alright, good. Look, as happy as we are you got us that info, you can't really be seen around here. You'd probably be picked up by animal patrol or something."

"Oh, not again…" The Snaggleback muttered, covering his head with his hands.

"… So, I'd advise you go up into the woods for a bit. Come out at night, and find something to eat then, and take it back with you." Lucia pointed off into the distance, "Go about a mile that way, and you'll find a little wooden shake. Not a lot of people know about it, you'll be safe there until we find a way to your world."

She smirked, "And hey, tomorrow is Halloween. Probably doesn't mean much to you, but it should be safe for you to go around in the early evening. Knock on a few doors and get yourself some candy. It's a weird human thing, you should fit right in with how you look though."

The Snaggleback nodded and thanked them, taking the half eaten food it scavenged from the trash bin with it like it was an overgrown raccoon. The two teenagers watched it go, and Amelia crossed her arms as she stood beside her girlfriend, "You think it'll be alright for that guy to run around on his own?"

Lucia shrugged, "I don't know. But I know Luz would love the idea of an actual demon getting to celebrate with some candy on her birthday."

Hunter and Kikimora both approached the emperor's throne together, giving each other a nasty side eye as they did so, then bowed their heads as one.

Belos breathed heavily, gripping the armrests of his throne tightly as he fought for more air to his lungs. With some effort, he managed to rasp about, "My loyal followers, the Day of Unity is upon us. Before the moon sinks below the horizon tomorrow night, we will be in a new world. The sun shall rise upon a newer, stronger empire."

He coughed heavily, "I shall require you to be by my side tomorrow. The Titan will do his best to offer us protection, but we are not guaranteed survival. If you have anything you wish to do, do so now, and report to the Portal Chamber at dawn."

Hunter bowed his head, unsure of how to spend his last free hours. Knowing Kikimora, she'd spend the time attending to the Emperor, no matter what. His Uncle didn't need two people to baby him now, though.

Hunter turned to leave, with at least one person in mind he wouldn't hate to see again should the worst come and he died. His cape trailed behind him as he decided then and there that his last free day would be spent at the Owl House.

Amity sat with her family, 'enjoying' mandatory family time together, watching some show on their crystal ball that her Mother, and no one else, liked. Luz said King liked watching it as well, and compared it to a "soap opera," which just proved to Amity that her mother's tastes in entertainment were far below lacking.

The show, however, was interrupted by a call, the ball flashing Darius' face, much to Amity's relief, and from the exhales of her siblings, they too were happy for the interruption. Odalia looked like she was going to ignore it, but Alador reached for the remote, answering the call.

"Hello, Darius," He greeted dully.

"Alador." Darius replied, fixing his position so he was clearly looking down his nose at the paternal Blight.

"Uncle Darius!" Ed and Em waved, eliciting a smile from the man at the familiar greeting.

"Hello children. I hope I'm not interrupting-"

"Not at all!" Em insisted, a little too enthusiastically for her own good, earning a glare from her mother.

"We always love when you call," Ed added with a charming smile.

"- but I need to talk to Amity," Darius finished, talking right through their efforts to postpone returning to their mother's stories.

Amity stood from her seat, and offered a polite bow, "I'm right here, Master Darius."

"Good. It's about your lesson tomorrow. It will have to be… postponed. Indefinitely, really." Darius said slowly, grimacing slightly at the disappointed expression that was overtaking Amity's face.

"I see," She said with a downcast gaze.

Darius inhaled, considering his next words carefully. "The Emperor has urgent need of me, and I don't know when next I shall be available. I do hope to continue with your teachings in the future, but the coming weeks may be hectic."

Amity nodded in understanding, knowing that as a Coven Head, Darius had to put his loyalties to the Emperor first. "I look forward to when we can continue then, sir."

Before Darius ended the call, he stroked at his goatee, then added, "It may be best if you stay indoors tomorrow, young Blight." Without another word, he ended the call.

The Blight family sat dazed and confused, staring at the space Darius's head used to take up. Odalia coughed, "Well, that was certainly unhelpfully vague and threatening." Before reaching to pry the remote out of her husband's hands to continue with her show.

Amity had the feeling she should head for the Owl House as soon as possible tomorrow.

"It's tomorrow?" Eda shouted as she, Lilith and Raine entered her front door. Eda had expected the Day of Unity to be soon, but this was ridiculous. How could she plan around it if she only had a day before it started.

"It's worse than you think, Eda." Raine assured her, stepping inside the Owl House for the first time. They glanced around the place, and how it just screamed Eda, and despite themself and their situation, couldn't help but smile.

"How can it possibly get any worse?" Lilith asked, as King scurried into the room.

King skidded to a halt, sliding a little and nearly losing his balance upon seeing the newcomer. He'd heard about this Raine person before, just yesterday, but didn't know what to make of them. "Weh?"

Raine looked just as surprised to see King as King was to see them, their mouth forming a little 'o' at the sight of the miniature demon. Eda glanced between them, and decided it was time to introduce her past to her present. "Uh, King, this is Raine Whispers. An old partner of mine, and a good friend. And Raine this is…"

Eda glanced at King, he was tilting his head curiously, looking every ounce as adorable as he had when she first found him all those years ago. Smiling fondly, she went with her heart, "This is my son, King."

King's eyes seemed to shimmer, hearing Eda call him that for the first time. Puffing his chest, he reached out with a claw, offering it to Raine to shake, "that's right! I'm King Clawthorne, and Eda's my Mom!"

Raine took the offered claw in hand, and lightly shook it, trying very hard not to coo over the precious demon child before them. Seeing cute things hit differently after a few weeks of prison and torture.

"Not to butt in, but you were about to explain how it gets worse?" Lilith asked, stepping between the two dorks.

Raine nodded, "right, sorry."

Turning their attention back to their goal, Raine began to explain, "The Emperor's goals are to use a portal that is being magically magnified in power to cover the entirety of the Boiling Isles in it, and merge it with the human world. The sheer amount of damage and lives this will end will be catastrophic, and that isn't just my speculation. The Emperor has deliberately planned it that way."

There was the sound of something dropping and hitting the floor, and it took a moment for Eda to realize that what had fallen was her own hands, which had detached from shock. "He's going to-"

Lilith had to take a seat, "How can we possibly stop that?"

King looked around at all the sorrowful faces, confused by what was going on, but wisely choosing to stay silent on the matter.

Raine pinched the bridge of their nose. "We'll have to fight him. Summon all our forces, everyone we can think of, and take the fight to him. Thankfully the spell should be severely weakened by my absence."

All eyes fell on them, and Raine realized they'd left out a few details, "oh, right. Belos is using the combined magic of everyone on the Isles to open this portal, siphoned through their coven seals, and flowing through the heads of the coven to be harvested. With me out of the picture, that means Belos's power is cut by a ninth, but I'm not sure if that will be enough."

"And he can control you through your Coven Seal, so does he really even need you to be there for him to get that magic?" Lilith asked.

The thought hadn't occurred to Raine. Rolling back their sleeve, they looked at the brand on their flesh, pristine and untouched, even after all the pain the Emperor had inflicted on them. "I wouldn't be much use in a fight with this on me anyway…" They murmured.

Eda shook her head, "Raine, please-"

"No, Eda." Raine stopped her, "I need to get this thing off of me. Now."

Lilith looked between the two, her sister and the bard, "But there isn't a way to remove it?"

Eda wavered, her eyes flickering to her sister, "There is one way to get rid of it."

"Two, really," Raine corrected.

"Burn it, or slice it off." Eda finished.

Lilith's mouth suddenly felt very dry. "Oh."

Eda turned to King, who still wasn't sure what was going on, but definitely didn't like all this talk about mutilation, at least when it came to the people he liked. "King, go upstairs. Take Hooty with you, okay?" Eda urged gently.

"What? No, I can stay here! Please, Eda?" King begged, but Eda wasn't having any of it.

"Don't make me ground you, young man!"

"Yes, Mommy." King squeaked, running back up the stairs hollering for Hooty to join him, which the bird tube was all too happy to do.

Eda wandered over to her fireplace, taking the poker and sticking it in the embers that always lingered. "Hooty! Give me a light, would ya?!" She shouted up the stairs, knowing that he could hear her, and sure enough the fire roared, crackling with heat.

Lilith stood from the couch, "Sister, I can do it. You shouldn't have to-"

Eda punched the wall, silencing the older witch, "Shut it, Lily. Raine is my… friend. I should be the one to do it. You hold their hand, because this is going to hurt. And you'll be going next. I can't have you being frozen or controlled during the fight we're going to be having tomorrow."

Eda grabbed the poker from the fire, red at the tip from the heat, "Sit down, Raine."

"Alright," Raine did so without question, holding their branded arm out, nothing but trust in their eyes as Eda came closer, "Don't worry about me, just keep it there until there's nothing left."

Eda closed her eyes and exhaled, then lifted the hot poker and pressed it to flesh, and tried not to let the screams that echoed through her house be what haunted her nightmares for the coming years.

Luz smiled to herself as she bit into an apple, tasting it's sweetness. It had nothing on Amity's lips, but it was a close second, and she never got tired of being able to eat as many apples from a magical dimension as she wanted. Even if they were used to make alcohol and stuff.

She had stayed out a little late today, stopping by the library for a bit of research on where to find some parts she still needed for her portal door. She'd been putting it off, having so much fun hanging out with her girlfriend, that it almost seemed like forever since she'd dedicated some time to actually finding a way home.

If she wasn't worried sick about her mom and sister, she wondered if she'd even still be searching at all. She couldn't wait to introduce everyone now, though. She was sure that while her Mom and Eda probably would have a few issues, Lucia would love the Owl Lady for her rebellious spirit.

She was just about to reach the clearing that the Owl House was settled in when she noticed a familiar cloaked figure off to the side, leaning against a tree. While his mask was gone, Hunter hadn't abandoned the rest of his Golden Guard attire, much to Luz's surprise. Maybe he was ready for Eda to meet the real him?

Instead he beckoned her closer, looking anxious. He kept glancing around suspiciously, as if someone was going to pounce from the shadows, and his legs seemed restless like he wanted to get away.

Despite his obvious distress, Luz put on a cheerful front, "Heya, Attila the Hunter, how's my glyph study buddy been doing?"

Hunter pursed his lips, and cut to the chase, "I'm not here on a social visit. Is there someplace we can talk?"

Now officially worried, Luz nodded, discarding her half eaten apple into one of the bushes and leading Hunter away from the Owl House, up and around to the tower behind it, out of sight and earshot, where they could be alone. The entire way there, Hunter kept glancing over his shoulder, and even pulled his hood up over his head.

As soon as they had some privacy, Hunter began to ramble, "Alright, I gotta make this quick. Kikimora could have someone watching. You're still looking for a way back to the human realm, right?"

Luz perked up, "yeah! Why, did you find something?"

Hunter looked uncomfortable with what he was about to say next, "You might say that…"

He pulled the hood back off his head, and crouched down so he was at Luz's eye level, "Look, that door you blew up? My Uncle has been fixing it, and it's going to be activated tomorrow. I just came to tell you you don't need to bother making your own anymore."

Cocking her head in confusion, Luz asked, "Why? It's not like Belos is just going to let me walk right up and use Eda's old door whenever I want. I'm not leaving the Isles unless I have a solid way back and forth, I can't just leave everyone here behind."

Hunter shook his head, "No, I'm saying there won't be a need for a door."

He smiled, "Luz, you won't ever have to leave the Isles, because they're coming with you. After tomorrow, there won't be a Human or a Demon Realm. There will just be Unity."

What Hunter had expected was for Luz to be happy. To be excited. To jump for joy, and pull him into one of her irritating parallel arm things she called hugs that were way too tight to be comfortable, and he'd die before admitting he liked.

He didn't get that.

Instead, Luz's face fell, her mouth open, as a look of horror grew on her face. "Belos is going to do what?" She hissed.

Hunter raised his hands defensively, "He's merging our worlds, Luz. I was sworn to secrecy, but at this point it doesn't matter. It can't be stopped." That just made things worse.

"Do you even know what you've done?" Luz hissed, grabbing him by his tunic and pulling him close. "Do you even know how many people are going to get hurt?"

"That's why I'm here, Luz." Hunter spoke solemnly. He was under no pretenses about what was going to happen. There would be chaos, and a miniature war, until the human's lost and accepted the Witches were there to stay and a peace could be worked out. "I'm offering to find a way to keep you and your family safe."

Luz shook her head, releasing her grip, "Safe? Hunter, the rest of my people aren't like me. I'm soft, and weird. If you go over there in mass, with force, it's going to be a war zone."

"Then we'll fight them off. And we'll keep fighting until your armies leave us alone." Hunter insisted, not doubting that they could win. He'd personally trained so many guards at this point, he had faith in them.

But his words didn't soothe Luz, and her panic only grew, "Dios mio, they're gonna drop a nuke on you."

That was a word Hunter wasn't familiar with. "I'm sorry, a what?"

"A nuke, Hunter. If you try to fight, and the humans, my people, think they've lost on the ground, they are going to drop a nuke on you. Death, and incurable poison, in an explosion large enough to cover every inch of the Titan's skeleton." Luz looked pale, and a little sick.

The concept flew over Hunter's head, the sheer scale too big for him to believe, "I'm not going to fall for that, human." He understood Luz's position, truly he did. He didn't want anyone to have to die, but it was the Titan's will, and he didn't appreciate being lied to.

Luz reached out and clung to his shirt again, digging her fingers in tight. "Hunter, you have to stop this now. We can stop this. I need your help, we can't do this alone and-"

Luz's hands were brushed off, "No. No, Luz, stop."

"Stop what?!" Luz cried, her eyes brimming with tears.

Hunter spread his arms out, "Stop this! Stop trying to win me over to your side! Stop trying to barge into my life and adopt me like all the other weirdos! I have a family, Luz. Belos is my family! I'm not some cool older brother for you to hang out with, and I can't- I won't help you stop this! It can't be stopped! That's why I'm telling you about it now!"

Luz flinched as if she'd been physically struck, taking a step away from him. Hunter breathed deeply, and reached out to her, to try and calm her, but she turned and ran back down the trail and the steps that led to the Owl House, leaving Hunter alone with no one but himself and his thoughts.

He turned away, and stalked back into the woods, his cloak fluttering behind him as he once again raised the hood to hide his face from the world, not out of fear, but out of heartbreak.

Far above, on the tower of stone behind the Owl House, a red Cardinal Palisman watched, then took to the air, following his master.

Luz burst into the Owl House, barely holding back her tears, screaming Eda's name, only to feel slightly embarrassed when she saw the woman she was looking for sitting on the couch, wrapping a bandage over Lilith's arm. She hadn't even realized Lily was visiting today.

Eda was up and off the couch in an instant, sensing Luz's distressed state, "Who does Mama need to beat?" She growled, reaching out and inspecting Luz's face for any sign of injury, and wiping away a few stray tears that were leaking from the human's eyes, then pulling her into a tight hug.

"Eda, we need to hurry, Belos is planning to combine this world with mine, and he's doing it tomorrow. We have to stop him-" Luz sputtered out a mile a minute, but Eda hushed her gently.

"We already know, kiddo."

Luz blinked, "que?!"

Eda jerked her thumb behind her, to another figure on the couch nursing an identical bandage as Lilith, "I just spent my morning breaking this dope out of jail to get that info. Oh, Raine, Luz. Luz, Raine."

Luz waved awkwardly to the newcomer, who did their best to smile back, clearly trying to mask a wince from whatever injury they had sustained. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Luz. You must be Eda's… daughter, right?"

Eda shook her head, giving Raine a gesture to stop talking, and had to settle on wincing and saying "No!" Just as Luz replied with "Kinda?"

Eda whipped her head around to look at the human girl, who looked a bit bashful. "Well, you are? You take care of me, I live with you, you're pretty maternal. It doesn't have to be a label if you don't want it to be, though."

Eda tried not to whimper, holding back sniffles and Raine quickly apologized, "I'm sorry for assuming, it's just after you introduced King as your son, I thought-"

Luz looked at Eda proudly, and the witch shushed her before she could start, instead pressing Luz into a hug. Luz leaned in close to Eda during the embrace, suddenly remembering hearing Raine's name from the day they'd chosen a dress for Luz's night at the Blight's, "Wait, that's your ex?"

Eda grinned, "I know, right. I sure knew how to pick 'em. But that's beside the point, how did you know about all of this Belos stuff?"

Luz grimaced, "Well, uh, you know Hunter? He told me. He's the Golden Guard."

The look on Eda's face would have been priceless on any other day, but today Luz couldn't find the humor in it. "How'd he dupe us that badly?" She squeaked out in disbelief.

Luz rubbed her arm, "Actually, I knew. We teamed up back in Latissa, and he seemed like an alright guy. A bit of a bad, yet sad boy. Really interested in my glyphs. I told him he could learn them, if he could leave behind his Guard role behind while doing it."

"I guess he wasn't as good a guy as I thought." She mumbled, looking back on their last conversation.

Eda laid a hand on her shoulder, "Hey, he told you about this plan when he didn't have to. I'd say that makes him moderately less of an asshat than he could have been."

Luz nodded, "He wanted to take us somewhere safe. But there isn't going to be anywhere safe."

Eda agreed, having enough experience in the human world to know things were going to go very far south. "Yeah, nukes."

"Yeah, nukes." Luz seconded.

Lilith raised a hand, "I'm sorry, what are these 'nukes' that you guys are talking about?"

"Nothing to worry your pretty little head over, Lily, because we're going to stop this whole fiasco before it can even get off the ground. Raine!"

The bard shot up in their seat, "Yes Eda?"

"Get the BATs on the crystal ball, we're gonna need their help. After that, I'll need to make a few calls myself." Raine got up, eager to get in touch with their old team after all these weeks.

"Lily, start making some plans for me to ignore." Eda smirked as Lilith shot her a glare. "I'm just too wild and untamable to follow any of your boring charts and maps. It's not my fault I'm such a free spirit. But they'll still come in handy."

She turned to give Luz an order, only to find the human girl missing. Glancing around the room, she spotted Luz halfway up the stairs, "And where do you think you're going, kiddo? What's your plan in all of this?"

Luz froze, but looked back at Eda with a resolve she hadn't seen in her eyes in a long time. "I'm going to go make us some new help."

Eda smiled and gave her a thumbs up, "Atta girl, you do me proud!"

Luz fidgeted with the Palistrum wood in her hands, still no closer to knowing what it was she wished to create with it, but knowing she was out of time. Opening her storage chest, she fished out a mallet and a wood chisel that Eda had gifted her for just this occasion, and laid them beside her.

She closed her eyes, and tried to envision what she could see in the wood. What her new friend would be. What they would act like. She sat there like that for a long time, until finally she knew, and with that image in her head, not just of what she wanted to make, but what she wanted to make it for, and what her path in life would be, Luz began to chisel.

She worked long into the night, ignoring all outside distractions. Her stomach growled, wanting a bite of the food Eda had left her for dinner that Luz couldn't recall the woman bringing her, but she didn't budge. Her mouth was dry, but she remained. She really had to pee, and… well, when nature calls, you listen, but that was the only distraction she allowed.

After washing her hands and getting back to work, she finally had enough work done that she could see it taking shape. Brushing aside the wood shavings, and blowing a bit of air into the crevices she was carving, she admired her work, knowing that at her pace she'd have to work long into the night, and possibly until morning if she had any hope of finishing.

An old clock chiming out in the hallway was her only warning that she had stayed awake past midnight. Twelve rings, and no more. Luz hummed a little tune, continuing her work, and hammered at her chisel as she began to sing melancholically to herself.

"Happy birthday to me

Happy birthday to me

Happy birthday, dear Luz

Happy birthday to me."

Deep under the Emperor's castle, in a chamber known only to a few, the heads of the Covens began to gather.

Belos himself welcomed them, watching them silently behind his masked visage. Each of them bowed their heads low, and formed a circle around the podium placed in front of the Portal door.

At his Uncle's side, Hunter frowned behind his mask, "We're missing one."

On Belos' other side, Kikimora answered, "Somehow the bard, Raine Whispers, escaped their cell yesterday, sometime after their morning feeding. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you Golden Guard?"

The witch shook his head, "I can honestly say that's news to me."

Belos lifted a hand to silence the two before their bickering could start anew. "Whispers is of no consequence. Their magic and what they could bring would have been incredibly potent, but I have made plans to compensate for the loss since their betrayal."

Belos turned to Hunter, and away from Kikimora, "Hunter, my dear nephew, you will be taking the Bard's place, as the new Head of the Emperor's coven."

Hunter's breath caught in his throat. Behind his Uncle, he could see Kikimora barely holding it together, knowing she had lost. He now understood what this meant, that this was more than a position as the head of a coven, and more or less his Uncle naming him the successor to the throne. Bowing his head low, he spoke, "I understand, and am honored, my liege. I won't fail you."

With heavy, leaden footsteps taken on legs that felt like jelly, Hunter joined the circle of coven heads, welcomed into their ranks.

The morning was here, and while this next task would be long and arduous, by the time the sun rose again he would likely be the one calling the shots in his new empire.

A/N: We're nearing the endgame now, suckahs! I've been ever so slowly hinting at when Luz's birthday was since like, chapter 11? She said it was in October, then I had Lucia think about how close Halloween was getting, along with needing to get a gift for Luz without specifying the date. I've slowly been building the three-way date of Halloween(a day of witchcraft) with the day of Unity(a unification of Witches and Humans), and Luz's birthday(a human who is also a witch), until it was this wonderful mess of a day.

I couldn't resist adding the Snaggleback into the fic. They're voiced by the beloved, self proclaimed 'Famed Internet Douchebag,' Arin Hanson, who you probably know as the host of Game Grumps. He's actually one of my favorite background characters in the show, along with Tiny Nose, who I had wanted to be in this fic, but with how crowded it was already getting, I had to cut her part in the climax.

It would feel weird to have Dana Terrance's self insert helping take down the bad guys anyway.

And when I say it's going to get crowded, I mean it. I'm terrible at juggling more than three characters at once, in my opinion, and we're about to get about two dozen in most of the scenes for the next few chapters. It's gonna get WILD.
