Keep swinging, Spidey! Spider-Man thinks to himself as he swings from one building to the next using long swings to help increase his momentum. He currently wasn't running late for his and Felicia's date, but he is cutting things close. The last thing he wants is for his first stab at another relationship to start off with him not even having the decency to show up on time.

Ok don't think like that, Spidey. You did have important matters to attend to earlier. And it didn't take up too much time. Just as long as you don't hear any police sirens-NO! Don't jinx things for yourself! He panics in his mind, but then finds himself starting to laugh.

Wow. Me being worried about showing up for a date on time. It's been a while since I've had such a normal thing to worry about. It feels pretty good.

He can feel a smile forming on his lips beneath his mask and keeps pushing forward.

Felicia gazes out over the roof at the city before her and smiles. It really does look beautiful at night and she's about to experience all of it from Spider-Man's point of view.

Spider-Man's point of view. Spider-Man's point of…oh. Oh God, Felicia thinks as the meaning of her words sinks in and she finds herself looking down. She gulps at the sight of how high up she is and realizes she'll be even higher up any minute now.

Don't worry, Felicia. Cats always land on their feet. Don't they? Oh, this is the worst possible moment you could lose your nerve, Felicia. Get it together! She chastises herself and not a moment too soon as her sharp enhanced eyes spotted her super powered stud heading straight for her.

Felicia stands up straight and takes a few breathes to calm her down before lying against the balcony in an effort to give off a vibe of nonchalance as she has in previous encounters with the Web Head. Spider-Man flies overhead and makes a perfect landing on the roof.

"He stuck it and the crowd goes wild!" Spider-Man announces then proceeds to cheer for himself. Felicia laughs and gives him a round of applause. "Thank you, thank you," he says and gives a bow. "I would've brought you flowers, but I was 99% sure they wouldn't survive the trip."

"Thats fine," Felicia says walking up to him. "Your punctuality for our date is more than enough of a gift for me." She runs her hand up his chest and smirks seeing Spider-Man gulp at this. "Hey, don't be nervous, Spidey," she says partially lifting his mask to uncover his lips. He leans down to her, but then Felicia stops him and smirks again. "All in due time. Now that we're together, we can have some fun with anticipation can't we?"

There's barely any space between them as she says this and it takes a considerable amount of effort on Spider-Man's part to simply nod and take a few steps back. The same goes for Felicia.

"Alright, um, so you ready to experience web slinging for, um, yourself," Spider-Man finds himself stammer a little as he tries to get Felicia's teasing out of his mind.

Upon being asked this, Felicia's confidence leaves her again. She looks over the side of the roof and can feel herself starting to sweat. "Spider…have you ever done this before with another person?"

Peter feels his shoulders slump and head slightly dip down at that question. Felicia takes notice of this change in his body language and puts two and two together quickly.

"Is this about whatever it is you didn't want to talk about when I saw you at the masquerade ball?" She asks and Spider-Man gives a small nod. "We don't have to do this if it's going to bring up any bad memories."

Spider-Man briefly smiles under his mask. "I truly appreciate that Felicia. However, those memories are always going to be there and they're always going to hurt. But, that doesn't mean I can't move forward. This is part of my world and I want you to experience it with me, if you're up to it."

"What makes you think I'm not up to it?" She asks pretending to be offended.

"I can tell you're nervous and that's perfectly fine. You should've seen my first crack at web slinging."

"Well…I'm not afraid," Felicia flat out lies.

"Alright, then grab on to me." Felicia goes behind Spider-Man and links her arms around his neck as he walks over to the edge of the roof.

Don't let me fall, don't let me fall, don't let me fall, don't let me fall, Felicia begins repeating in her head as Spider-Man fires a web line at the adjacent building.

"Ok, on three."

"Wait, are you really going to count to three or just jump so we can get it over wiiiiiiiitttthhh!" Felicia cries out as Spidey leaps off the roof and she clings to him for dear life.

"Oh crap! Ooooohhh craaaaaap!" Felicia cries out as the two of them fly through the air.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you!" He yells back to her, but Felicia can only tightly close her eyes and pray that her claws don't pop out from the adrenaline rush of fear she's experiencing. And then just as quickly as it started, she feels the two of them land on solid ground. "Don't worry, I've got you," he promises again. "You can open your eyes."

Felicia opens her eyes and sees her hair has gotten in front of them. She shakily lets go of Spider-Man and pushes her hair out of the way while he holds her to keep her steady.

"H-h-how do you do that every day? That was-that was terrifying."

"Lots and lots of practice. I'm sorry for how frightening it was, but now that the band aid's been ripped off, you can actually get to enjoy this now."

"Are you kidding? How can anyone, superhero or not, find enjoyment out of this? I'm sorry, I know that sounds rude, but oh my God, I think I might faint," she pants, but again, Spider-Man holds her close and steady.

"I just need to change up my technique a little," he says. He bends down and lifts Felicia up by her waist and legs into his arms. She quickly puts her arms around his neck and takes a deep breath. "It's like I said, you don't have to worry. I've got you. Just relax and keep you eyes on me."

Felicia gives a shaky nod and looks over the roof they are standing on to the street below, but Spider-Man turns her back to face him. "Eyes on me. Ok."

"Ok."

"Good. Get ready. 1, 2, 3." He fires his web line and jumps off the roof again.

Felicia follows his instructions and keeps her focus on his face as they sore through the city again. Slowly, but surely, her rapidly beating heart starts to calm down and she can feel a smile tugging on her lips.

"You can look now," Spider-Man tells her and Felicia breaks away from his gaze and looks back out to the city.

Everything looks so peaceful and serene now; beautiful even. She turns back to Spider-Man and smiles even wider before holding him tighter. That's how things went for the next several minutes. She alternated between gazing lovingly at her superpowered boyfriend and dreamily watching the city as they swung through it. There was still a part of her that couldn't believe this was happening, but it was a small distant part of her mind. She knew this was the real deal. That she was someone that Spider-Man trusted; maybe even wanted to love.

Love. Did you just think that Felicia? Don't kid yourself. Of course you did. You haven't even seen his face, but you want to love him, Felicia thinks; hands slinking down to the bottom of Spider-Man's mask.

He didn't even question her pulling up his mask as they were who knows how many feet in the air. They were somehow in tune with one another and both leaned in simultaneously. She trusted him enough that when their lips met and he let go of his web line, she wasn't even afraid that he might not have a spot for them to land on.

All she knew was that when they landed, he set her down and she moved into him and he pulled her into him. She felt herself shiver as he ran a hand down her back to her leg and she lifted it against his waist. The kiss grew deeper and because of her powers, she could feel everything around them. The sound of their moans, his hands running through her hair, her claws starting to reveal themselves.

I need to stop before they…no. I don't want to stop. I want…him, Felicia thinks then grips the top half of Spider-Man's costume and starts to pull him down to the floor of the roof.

Peter knew he was taking a big step with Felicia when he suggested they go web slinging together. Truth be told, he had no idea if she would enjoy it, but wanted to give it a try because it had been special once and he hoped it would be special again. Felicia screaming her lungs out at first wasn't exactly a good first sign.

Maybe the 'ripping off the band aid approach' wasn't a smart move, he thought as they landed on another roof. Thankfully, she seemed just angry out of worry for her own life and not AT him for how dangerous web slinging came across as. So now he went from the scary part and was ready to try and make the experience more romantic.

When he picked her back up into his arm and had her focus on him, Peter couldn't help, but feel his heart flutter a little when he looked into her eyes.

This is it, he thought and leapt off the roof with a proper warning this time. He picked his targets better this time, allowing for their trip the city to feel less like a rollercoaster and more like, well, Peter wasn't sure what the proper analogy was, but he knew that it kept Felicia calm. Her frightened gaze faded into one of admiration and maybe even love.

Love. Is that what you really want, Parker?

His thoughts faded away as Felicia pulled herself closer to him and lifted up his mask. His heart raced, but not in fear of taking anymore steps, but in anticipation. It was like someone flipped a switch in both their minds and they leaned in simultaneously. All their fears were gone and all that mattered was them. Peter let go of his web line and didn't even bother looking to see where they were landing as he trusted his Spider Sense. It served them both well and they landed safely. He pulled her closer and she had they same idea as she moved with him.

The moment between them became rougher, more passionate, more intimate as he ran his hands down her back and to one of her legs, which she rubbed against his waist and then gripped the top part of his costume. He let her pull him down to the floor and cover her. His lips go from hers to her neck.

"Oh Spider," she whispers and he can feel something start to poke into the back of his neck.

"Oh Spider," Felicia whispers and can feel her claws start to dig into Spider-Man's neck.

And just like that a light switch flips for both of them. Felicia from realizing her powers are flaring up and Spider-Man realizing how far they are going. They brake apart at the same time. Despite the broken moment they don't move off of one another. They just stare with their bodies trembling and taking breaths they desperately needed.

"Oh my God," Felicia says breaking the silence.

"I know," Spider-Man replies and gulps. "I'm sorry I got a little carried away."

"Me too…well, ok no I'm not, sorry," she confesses. "But we've got all the time in the world to get that far," she says finally getting her breath back.

Spider-Man rolls off her and they both sit against the wall of the roof; hands laced together as they do.

"I'm not sure what to say now," Spider-Man admits.

"You don't have to say anything," Felicia says giving his hand a squeeze. "Let's just take a moment and look at how beautiful the stars are right now."

"They are beautiful, but not as beautiful as you," he says stroking her face.

"Oh Spider, you sure know how to flatter a woman. Keep that up and we might finish what we started," she replies and they both laugh before looking back at the stars above them.
