Unspoken Rule 1: You do what you have to for family!

Head Canon/OTPs for Original Characters for the sequel to Unexpected Journey

Yeah, I know that Unexpected Journey isn't finished yet, but I've started developing characters for the sequel I'm planning on writing when I finish the first one. So, here's my head canon for them.

The Lupins:

John Lupin: named after his grandfather in a way, John Lupin is everything that one could want in a boy. Living up to the Gryffindor expectation, he maintains great grades and manages to get not only Prefect, but also Quidditch captain and Head Boy. But he begins to crack under the pressure and acts out at around fifteen or sixteen.

Sam Lupin: Named after Sam Evans (who is also his godfather), Sam Lupin is the exact opposite of his big brother John. Where John is outgoing, Sam is quiet preferring to read and play with his sister. However, he feels the need to try to act like his brother thereby also gaining the same titles John had (Prefect, Head Boy, Quidditch Captain). Like his father, Sam is a Hufflepuff and inherited the same powers of both his father and his grandmother.

Emma Lupin: A Gryffindor like her big brother John, Emma is the Quinn Fabray of Hogwarts (well Quinn of season one before she got pregnant). Popular, good looking due to inheriting the Veela powers from her mum, and confidant in her abilities, Emma Lupin follows in her brothers' footsteps and gains the title of Prefect, Head Girl and Quidditch Captain.

Stacy Lupin: The outcast in her family. Stacy is the only Slytherin in her family (ignoring the fact that her great-grandmother was a Slytherin). She is the Santana Lopez of Hogwarts though, always prepared for a quick remark or snappy comeback. Unlike her siblings, Stacy has never gained any of the titles they had earned throughout their years at Hogwarts. When a secret of hers is revealed to the entire school in her fifth year though, can she rely on her sister's help or will the rivalry between their houses keep the sisters apart?

The Hudsons:

Sarah Hudson: Rachel Berry 2.0 without the boyfriend stealing. She manages to annoy everyone she meets right off the bat, and drives John crazy. Combined with the fact that they're in the same year and the same House equals multiple shouting matches in the Common Room.

Jack Hudson: Overshadowed by his big sister, is it anyone's surprise when Jack ends up in Slytherin to prove himself? He quickly befriends Stacy after the sorting (easily as they're in the same year) and they along with Michelle Evans quickly become the Unholy Trinity of their generation. Jack does take after his father in that he enjoys playing sports and so joins the Slytherin Quidditch team in his third year.

The Puckermans:

Alex Puckerman: A bad boy, Alex Puckerman surprises everyone when he is sorted into Ravenclaw. He still maintains his bad boy rep by joining the Quidditch team as a beater in his second year. Best friends with John Lupin (easy seeing as they're in the same year), the friendship is shattered though when John reveals a secret of Alex's that was never meant for the school to hear in their sixth year.

Susan "Sue" Puckerman: Goody two-shoes Gryffindor, Sue ends up following in her mother's footsteps. Literally, as she becomes a teenaged mother at sixteen. The ordeal brings brother and sister closer together but what does it do to the family as a whole?

The Lopez-Pierces:

Colin Lopez-Pierce: Of the three Lopez-Pierce children, Colin is the only one who has no interest in knowing who his birth father is. He has his two loving mothers and his two amazing sisters, along with his amazing godfather Kurt Hummel and his friends in Hufflepuff, a year above Sam. He is also the only one of the three children who have blood ties to Britney.

Jill Lopez-Pierce: A Ravenclaw to the bone, Jill inherited her mom's good looks. Just like her mother, Jill is sporty and joins the Quidditch team in her fourth year. She also gains Prefect and Head Girl but she is passed over for Quidditch Captain in her seventh year.

Maria Lopez-Pierce: Best friend to Sam Lupin, Maria is a Gryffindor to the core. Brave, heroic, and a tad idiotic at times. She is quick though to defend her family against those who would condemn her for who her parents are. She is the only one who finds out who her biological father is, and is driven to find out who her siblings' fathers are as well.

The Evans:

Daniel Evans: Daniel "Danny" Evans is obsessed with the movie Grease and West Side Story, often getting caught by his older brother Sean singing to the mirror. Dan is the only non sporty member of his family, except for a brief period in his third year when he tried out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.

Sean Evans: Sean, the eldest Evans kid, makes sure to stick up for his younger siblings. While he may tease his brother Dan about catching him singing to the mirror, Sean makes it clear to the rest of Hogwarts that he's the only one who can do that; proven when he had to break up several fights between other kids in his year (but not in his house of Hufflepuff).

Michelle Evans: Michelle Evans is the Britney Pierce of the Unholy Trinity, just a tad smarter. A Keeper for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team in her fourth year, this only brings tension when the Slytherin-Hufflepuff game comes around (Jack after all is on the other team). Despite the closeness of the group, Michelle prefers to spend time with Stacy when she can rather than Jack.

The Anderson-Hummels

Andrew Anderson-Hummel: Andrew is the only Anderson-Hummel to get into Gryffindor. Despite his interest in sports, he never tries out for the Quidditch team. His brothers tease him about never finding a girlfriend all through Hogwarts (he is the oldest of the three).

Darren Anderson-Hummel: Named after his grandfather on Blaine's side, Darren is more laid back and inherited Blaine's looks (which is not surprising being biologically Blaine's). He has no interest in finding out who his biological mother is, despite pressure from his girlfriend, fellow Slytherin and later spouse Aven Malfoy.

Burt Anderson-Hummel: Named after Burt Hummel, his grandfather on Kurt's side, Burt is more of a hands-on guy, and his need to know how things work leads the sorting hat to stick him straight into Ravenclaw. He's a sporty type of guy, and gets along great with the Quidditch team. Burt is everything Kurt wishes he had been when he was in school, and that sometimes creates a strain on the father-son relationship.

The Abrams:

Will Abrams: Will basically raised his little brother Seth after their mother died in a tragic car accident, driving their father Artie to drink. Due to that, Will has difficulty in trusting people and isn't loyal to anyone but his brother--yet it is due to this loyalty that the Hat justifies putting Will into Hufflepuff and away from his brother.

Seth Abrams: Their mother's death put responsibility into his big brother Will and put anger into Seth Abrams. Yet the anger was hidden well and by the time Seth was finishing up his fifth year of Hogwarts, not only had he nailed all the girls in Slytherin, but he also had half of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. All without protection mind you. So it's quite a shock when the rumor mill reaches his ears about the news of Susan Puckerman's pregnancy.

The Chang's:

Amy Chang: Only child to Mike and Tina Chang, Amy fights hard to beat the stereotype that so many put on both Asian Parents and their children. It doesn't help when she's placed into Ravenclaw and the fact that she got ten Outstanding's doesn't help her case when all her friends come to her for tutoring in the one subject she's struggling in. After all, who would believe her over cold hard facts?

The Malfoys:

Aven Malfoy: Aven Malfoy is the first girl born into the Malfoy clan in quite a long time. She is a hatstall between Gryffindor and Slytherin, but she picks Slytherin due to the relationship she has with her father. Yet there's one thing she doesn't know and that he won't tell her: the story of her birth. With the help of her boyfriend Darren, will she be able to find out?

The Potters:

Gillian Potter: Gillian Potter, daughter of James Sirius Potter. Adopted as a one month old, Gillian has never wanted for a mother as her cousin Victorie is always there with any questions she might have. Yet she's envious of Emma and Stacy, and it doesn't help when Gillian has to share a room with Emma for seven years when they're both sorted into Gryffindor.
