Hello there! :) Welcome to my oh so boring profile. I've been here in this site since 2013, so in internet times, I'm the 40-year-old recently fired man right in the middle of his mid-life crisis. Anyway, this is my go-to place whenever I wanted a break from my school that time. Although updates today have gone incredibly slow, unlike the first months I was here, the fire I have for writing will never waver. Don't worry, I'll probably be here for a long while. So, please bear with me. :) Good news, though. I've started to go back to updating regularly, so do expect some form of progression! Yay! I've already written some stories raging from tearjerking drama (in reality: corny) to breath-taking action and adventure (in reality: sluggish). And I am pleased to post here the awards which I wouldn't have won without you guys.Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart! 2013 - 9th Annual Fannie Awards 2014 - 10th Annual Fannie Awards 2017 - 13th Annual Fannie Awards ORIGINAL DEMIGOD FILES Full Name: Lucian Owen Verner Ellinger Gender: Male Date of Birth: February 29, 1998 Immortal Parent: Iris Personality: Happy-go-luck person. He would always try to laze off every chance he gets, although he puts all of his effort on things that he thinks interest him the most. Would always crack a joke. Lucian is stubborn in keeping most of his child-like attitude despite the negative criticism he got. But despite all of that, he never judge a person. He treats everyone equally. He wanted to befriend everyone and anyone who wanted his presence is graciously accepted. Weapon: 8' dory (doru) spear whose tip is made from celestial bronze with a round shield (hoplon) about a meter in diameter. Special Abilities (remember that not all demigods have powers): Since his obsession with horses, he is exceptionally adept in riding horses, and pegasi in conjunction. He can wield the spear while riding. Strengths (at least three): (1) He has a strong will and mind when it comes to his friends. (2) Could get along with anybody. (3) He can use the spear and the shield the same time if he is not riding. Weaknesses (at least four): (1) He is afraid of many things (creepy creatures, raccoons, gnomes, darkness, fire, storm, etc.), thus he can be easily distracted. (2) Sometimes he would take things lightly when they are actually serious. (3) He can only wield either his spear or shield when riding. (4) His care for everyone is highly exploitable to enemies. Fatal Flaw: Extreme Loyalty Appearance: He is 6'2" in height. Average build. He has messy black curls of hair. Brown eyes. freckles on both cheeks. He has a small mole just underneath his jawline. He has a small dimple on his left cheek whenever he smiles. He is very laid back about his choice of apparel. He would have a football collar shirt (his favorite would be PSG), jeans and sneakers. Biography: Unlike most parents of demigods, Lucian's father tried his best to raise him. Luther (his father) is a farmer in a rural area and for the his first years in life, they were content. Though they don't have much, Lucian was just happy to be with him. They would visit a stable nearby and Lucian was fascinated with the creature. All things started to shake up when Luther's parents told him that he will be forced to marry someone else. At first, little Lucian was giddy of the thought of having a mother. He had been envious to other children who hugged theirs, wishing that he has one, and maybe the one his dad is going to marry would change that. After the wedding, all of his dreams were crushed and he would witness every time his stepmother mistreat them. School wasn't a comfortable place for him, either. The stories of abuse from his father would make them sneer at his way. He would be bullied repeatedly, but he didn't gave up. Lucian would just smile wide, which made his tormentors bully him more. He had made some few friends and they would ask if he is okay, but he would shrug and grin, unknowingly he builds up his own mask. He began sticking out to society, instead of following it. He had strange quirks that others find weird. He had started become the Lucian that is today. Until one day, after classes, their house was on fire. He saw and managed to fend off a group of angry harpies from his father, who was barely awake. Lucian took the spear and shield from his father and tried carrying him, with the help of his friend, away, but the harpies caught up with them and Lucian had no choice but to fight them. He was a natural at wielding the weapon but like any untrained soldier, it was not enough. One harpie dove towards him when his father blocks it with his own body. Shocked beyond belief, he saw his father smiling weakly at him, saying sorry before falling to the ground. Shock turned to anger as he defeated the group with much more fervor than before. After killing the last one, he went slowly to his father, tears falling freely as he clutch to the cold remains of the only constant in his life. After he buried him somewhere deep in the woods, he was surprised to see his friend with two kids he didn't know. They then told him of his status as demigod and Camp Half-Blood. He nodded and journeyed to the new place that he hoped at the bottom of his heart it would be his new home. 3 years after and he can safely say that the camp is his new place of refuge. He swore that he will enjoy his life now the way his father would have wanted him to. Other: Give him any food with cheese and you'll be his best friend instantly!
