Devil's Adored
Harry was pretty sure he looked like a fish with the way his mouth kept opening and closing.
His hand was suddenly taken hold of, the skin was rough, larger than his own, and warm. "To finally greet you properly, is truly a gift."
Then Severus Snape, his most hated Professor, the one who made no secret that he didn't like Harry, kissed the back of his hand.
The teenager let out a sound that could be described as a cat being straggled.
"You made his speechless," said Malfoy Sr, laughter in his voice, "those lessons have truly paid off."
Harry made the sound again, jumping when his other hand was taking hold of, it was as large and warm as Snape's, only softer.
Smiling, Malfoy Sr kissed Harry's hand too.
Harry stared, mouth still doing the impersonation of a fish until his brain started working again, and his face went red as he finally realized what had just happened.
"Well, don't you blush nicely." Malfoy Sr hummed.
"I-I-" Harry babbled.
Snape stood, still holding the other's hand, "You have questions."
"I-I-I" Harry babbled more
"Then we will answer them, please sit."
Harry sat.
Only for both men to pull him back up and over to the cushioned couch.
"Please, sit," Snape said again.
Harry sat.
Snape and Malfoy Sr let go of his hands, though it seemed reluctant, and sat down with him between them.
"Petal."
A House-Elf, Petal apparently, popped into the room, "What can Petal be helping Professor Snape with?"
"The usual for Lucius and myself, and tea for Harry."
"Petal will be getting it right away!"
Then she's gone.
"Severus, would you like to start?"
Humming, the man nodded, "I suppose the beginning is best, all I ask is that you listen, can you give me that?"
Already thrown off from the hand-kissing, and now how polite his Professor was being, Harry somehow managed out a yes. Blinking when Snape's face lighten up into something that might be considered… relieved.
"I made a promise long ago, to protect you, keep you safe. While that promise was done in grief and deep regret; it wasn't one I planned on going back on. However, once the dust had settled so to speak. I realized I may have done more harm than good in who I had placed my trust of that promise in. And so, I planned. At the time, they were merely ideas yet to come to fruition as it was mere speculation, then you started your schooling and my suspicion was confirmed. I gathered resources, and allies all the while playing the part of who I needed to be until the time was right."
Petal came back, and the conversation was put on hold, Petal set up the tea, and the other drinks which Harry suspected to be alcohol, there were also cakes; which Harry thought was for him until Snape took one and ate it; humming happily around his fork.
…..Snape liked cake?
"Sev has a major sweet tooth," Malfoy Sr whispered to the younger wizard, "so much so, you can get him to do anything for it."
...That was adorable.
"Perfect as always Petal." Snape complemented.
Petal smiled, bouncing on her feet and ear wiggling happily, "Thank you very much, Professor Snape, Petal is very happy!"
Then she was gone.
And it was just the three of them once more.
"Petal's sweets are going to get you fat," Malfoy Sr said before taking a sip of his drink.
"I imagine it would please you" Snape smirked, "seeing as you're always telling me I'm too skinny."
"Well, I do enjoy a bit of meat on the bone."
Sipping his tea, Harry sat there confused, what did that mean?
"How does Narcissa put up with you, I'll never know. Now, where were we? Ah, yes I remember. I had plans to approach you, hoping despite our….. unfriendly relationship, you would be willing to at least hear me out. But, then fifth-year happened, and I had to play my hand."
Snape doesn't say anymore, and Harry was left to take in what he had been told.
The man had been protecting all this time, most likely ever since he was a baby, which honestly wasn't a surprise considering he wasin the Order after all. But something was very much off. And it had nothing to do with the fact that Malfoy Sr was here.
".…Does Dumbledore know?"
Malfoy snorted, and Snape's lips twitched as though he wanted to smile.
"No, he does not."
Nothing more is said about that, though the young wizard knew there was more to it.
"Why did you have to play your hand?" He then asked almost hesitantly.
Throughout the conversation, Snape's expression had been about as open as Harry thought the man could make, and that eased any nervousness or fears he felt. Now, it had gone unsettling blank, Harry gulped, going still when his dominant hand was taken hold off. Eyes narrowed at the words that had been etched into his skin, lips pulled back into a familiar sneer.
"That damn woman hurt you."
Then Snape licked it!
Gobsmacked, and wide-eyed, the young savior watched as the warm, wet muscle lapped at the words on his skin, over and over.
"P-P-Professor!"
Snape hummed but didn't stop, his tongue slipping between the young wizard's fingers.
"Severus." Malfoy's tone isn't harsh, but it made the other man pause.
Placing a kiss on the scarred words, Snape stopped and went back to his drink and cake as though nothing had happened.
".….I have somehow died, and this is some kind of very weird afterlife."
Yep, he was going with that.
"Here, tea."
An elegant teacup was suddenly in his vision, absently he took it.
"Drink."
Harry drank, taking small sips as slowly his brain processed what the hell had just happened. Snape and Malfoy Sr sitting quietly, warm beside him. And when he does manage to ask a question, it's a quiet one.
"What happens now?"
"I kill Dumbledore."
Harry dropped his teacup, the cup doesn't break as it hit the floor, but it does roll, its content going everywhere. Malfoy tsked softly, but the mess is gone with the wave of his wand.
"Kill Dumbledore?!" Harry was standing now, and while he certainly wasn't ready to go run to the door, it was close.
"That is what I said, shocking, I know."
"T-That….You can't!"
"Oh?" Snape raised a brow before standing himself. "You'll find that I very much can, especially where you're concerned."
"B-But Dumbledore-I-Why?! Why kill him, why do all this!?"
"We just had this conversation."
"Yes, you said to protect me, keep me safe. And you did, you killed Voldemort, as hard as that is to believe."
"Dumbledore is a threat."
"No, he's not!"
Snape's eyes narrowed, expression thoughtful, before he mumbled a soft, "I see."
"Well, we did say it wouldn't be easy." Lucius sighed.
Snape nodded, "Indeed we did."
For a moment Harry thought that maybe he had won, had convinced the man, at least, for now. Then an arm was gently wrapped around his waist, and he pulled close to the other wizard. Long elegant fingers tilted his chin up. Dark eyes bore into his own, there it was again, that dangerous something.
"However, know this Harry Potter, everything I've done and will do is for you, I am yours."
~.~
"Good morning."
After last night, Harry's pretty sure he shouldn't be surprised to find the two at the table for breakfast, but he was all the same.
"M-Morning." Harry stuttered out, cheeks warm as he remembered what happened last night.
He quickly made his way over to the only available seat, at the head of the table, with Snape at the other end with Malfoy on his left.
Once again, all the food was his favorite, plus apple juice.
"I hope you slept well."
"I did." Harry lied.
He had laid in his amazingly comfortable bed, staring up at the ceiling, mentally replaying the deceleration over and over in his head. It had left him not only flabbergasted but… happy in a way.
"After breakfast, would you mind having a walk with us?" Malfoy asked, "We can discuss more of last night among other things, and there is someone I'm sure you'd be happy to meet."
Absently playing with his fork, Harry's not sure if he's looking forward to the discussion, either way, he nodded.
Snape looked almost pleased.
Harry doesn't eat much, too nervous about what was going to happen afterward, nor does he respond much beyond a mumble when Snape or Malfoy speak to him.
They don't seem to mind.
All too soon for the young wizard's liking, the meal is over, but before he could get up, Dobby was called. In his hands was a rolled-up piece of parchment, which was placed in front of Harry.
"Despite me saying it numerously, I know you're not an idiot." Snape began, "I know you're aware that while we do not intend to do you harm, and want to help you. You are prisoner, a guest, but a prisoner all the same."
That…..that didn't scare him like he's pretty sure it's supposed to
"And we know it's going to take time to convince you that getting rid of Dumbledore is the right thing to do."
Yeah, like that will ever happen.
"So, we have a proposal, give us until the beginning of January. Let us try to convince you to see things our way, and if we can not, then we will let you go."
"Just let me go?"
Malfoy nodded, "Yes, unharmed in every way. The parchment, which has two parts to it, is an agreement that all three of us will sign. A contract, if you will."
Carefully, Harry unrolled it, a quick read found that it was just as they said. Putting it aside for later, he read the other one, blinked, read over it again, then up at the two men who watched. And he's not sure, but something told him they were a little amused.
"What's this?"
"While you are here, those are the rules you must follow, think of it as conditions." Malfoy told him.
Harry read it once more, they were indeed rules, and there weren't many. One was he could not go outside without someone with him, which wasn't a surprise for various reasons. However, the next two were the cause for the pause.
"During his stay here, Harry Potter is required to wear whatever is provided for him by Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy."
A little weird, but it also kind of made sense, since his trunk was still back at the Dursely's, which now that he thought about it, he should probably figure out how he was going to get it; maybe Dobby?
Putting that idea away for later, Harry continued to the next rule.
"During his stay here, Harry Potter must refer to Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy as Daddy and Papa, respectively."
The young wizard looked back up at the two men, Malfoy Sr looked outright amused, while the corner of Snape's lip twitched.
"Seriously?"
Why would they want him to call them that? It was obvious, Snape didn't like children, well, the kids at Hogwarts, he seemed to like Harry as it were. And Malfoy already had a kid, did he want another one?
"Very much so," Lucius confirmed.
Brows furrowing, Harry looked over the rest of the rules, none of them were as weird as the last one, and were rather basic really, nothing screaming Big Red Flag.
"You are welcomed to think it over, and we are more than willing to negotiate some of the rules," Snape spoke up. "However, the contract must be signed before we do anything today."
Harry looked over at Dobby, who had remained, the elf was not at all nervous, he seemed very much relaxed actually. Biting his bottom lip, the teenager gave a long thought, to which both Snape and Malfoy waited patiently.
"I'll sign, but can I have until tomorrow to agree to the rules?"
Malfoy smiled, "Of course."
~.~
With the contract signed, and under Dobby's care, Harry found himself beside Malfoy while Snape walked behind them down a hall that Dobby did not show him. The other wizard somehow managed to pull him into a conversation that was both interesting and fun, however, he could not ignore the burning gaze aimed at the back of his head courtesy of his Professor.
"Erm, Professor?"
Unable to take it anymore, Harry had stopped, turned around, and was now staring at the other. Snape, for his part, merely waited. His stare, unrelenting.
"Um," Harry was suddenly nervous, though he's pretty sure it's not because he was scared. "do-would you mind walking beside me…please?"
Snape blinked, and for a moment he looked surprised then his expression melted into what Harry could best describe as elated,
"If you insist."
With his Professor now beside him, they resumed their walking. Malfoy easily picking up the conversation, Snape doesn't talk, but it was nice all the same.
"Ah, it seems sounds like they have arrived."
It was a simple door, nothing really special, and he could hear muffled voices behind it.
It made him nervous.
Lucius opened the door, and stepped aside to let the younger wizard step through, Harry does.
"Hermione?"
Let Me Know What You Think?
Just so you know, the calling them daddy /papa thing and clothing option was a joke from Severus and Lucius. They aren't expecting Harry to agree to it at all, and negotiate out of it, boy are they going to be surprised for a lot of reasons lol.
