NOW! I am still allowing PMing as long as it is RESPECTFUL! If you guys do anything like what those assholes did to me in the previous story, immediate block. No warning, nothing. Immediate block is what you get when you decide to be an asshole. Ahem, don't be afraid of lengthy comments, I tend to enjoy those the most and I do hope you all enjoy this story.
Thanks, now enjoy.
"What do you need Merlin," Ritsuka asked as he walked across the little Japanese style bridge over a creek that Exemplum Chaldea had in it's expansive flower gardens. He led down to pick up a Spider Lily, looking over the Hyacinths and Lotus also littering the creek.
"Nothing, nothing...you seem to be taking our new allies with a great amount of stride," he commented, smiling his usual smile as he made the flower in his hand glow. Beside him Oberon had a pleasant smile on his face that spelled trouble at the mere mention of the new people.
"I was shocked when Elaine, Mother of Galahad and Wife of Lancelot was here," he hummed. "But not as shocked as when I learned that our newest Foreigner was Mycroft Holmes."
"Sherlock was positively red in the face when he caught sight of his brother," Merlin laughed as he came beside his master and looked down into the small creek. "I would have assumed he already knew, but they are of the same type of mind and they know one another too well."
"It was nice to see that overly cocky detective shut up for a moment and act a bit human," Oberon commented as he sat down in the grass, allowing for some bugs to come ontop of him.
"Didn't help that Mycroft went to beat the shit out of Holmes cause he was hopped up on his medicines and practically delivered him to Rehab that Nightingale had been trying to force him into.
'He has to know it's not going to work," Merlin scoffed. "I mean it's Sherlock!"
"A brother can always hope," the man in question stated as he came out of the shadow of the wisteria tree to their left. "Master."
'Ritsuka or Fujimaru if you must," he sighed, tossing the spider lily back into the water. "Master is something that is usually reserved for the hardcore warriors. As I recall...you hate legwork," he smirked as Mycroft snorted lightly before conceding his head. "And what do you say now?"
"I have been monitoring things like you said," he smiled. "It's as you expected, they don't know a good thing until it's gone."
'Still trying to contact us?"
"Yes," he nodded, allowing his master to pass along with Merlin who side eyed him.
"Honestly," Oberon giggled, smiling brightly as he placed his cheek on his clawed hand. "They are such idiots! First they want us gone now they are chasing after our tailskirts!"
"I feel bad...because the Commission is dragging their feet and it is hurting the people. Not that I mind truly in the end, it's like back in the day, no Merlin?" Ritsuka turned to the Magus of Flowers who nodded, he ignored the insect of the abyss who pouted before hopping up to meet them at the table.
"I will admit this is nice," he hummed. "Be back with everyone, you never realize how much you like to speak to someone face to face until you're all separated." He nodded to himself, even though he only ever admitted such things to his master and no one else.
"I feel...complete," Ritsuka breathed before groaning.
"Master?"
"Ort and Sefar are not happy at the moment….too much discord in the air is causing them to stirr ," he coughed before shaking his head. "Nothing we can do...not until they finish looking through 300+ heroes."
``You don't know how many you've contracted," Mycroft scoffed, both Merlin and Oberon gave him some raised brows.
"I know your names, that's more than enough for me," he smiled as the Foreigner smiled.
"Of course, names or numbers," he hummed as they walked to a small table where tea and snacks were laid out. "If this is how things were before I can see why you love it. A chaotic family….was your like this?"
"Most certainly not," he giggled, covering his mouth to not show his smile. Mycroft senses pure malic behind him and flinched at the look of warning that Oberon gave him. His eyes spelled death if he so much as continued to speak of it.
"I wonder what it would be like to see them after this," Merlin contemplated before Ritsuka still in his stride to his seat. He closed his eyes as if in pain, sighing before continuing with solemn words.
"I went back to Japan...to visit and see….see if my family was back," Ritsuka admitted, sitting down and filling up for himself.
"Oh," Mycroft hummed as Merlin shifted uncomfortably. Oberon was tapping the table in anger as he stared into his cup like it murdered someone.
"They were fine," he assured them both...or maybe himself. "Perfectly fine...didn't remember a damn thing. To them 4 years had passed and I simply stayed in Chaldea without a word to them. Wasted my High school years, my father said. Ruined my opportunities, my mother griped. Missed out on her track meets, my sister whined," he looked so far off as he stirred his tea. "They always had something to complain about."
"Master?" Mycroft asked.
"They didn't change, but I did," he murmured silently. "I thought that the visit would be simple, like a college student heading back home for a visit to his parents...but no it wasn't. I had forgotten the pressures of a normal life..I didn't understand them and my parents didn't understand me...I scared them. They became scared of their own child." he clutched the cup tight in his hand as the faces of his mother and father flashed before his mind. "My sister...she became scared of her older brother, an older brother who is supposed to protect her…"
"You must have always known that a normal life for you will never be the same," Mycroft began, taking a biscuit and taking a quiet bite. "I am sorry you had to face such reality in such a harsh manner."
"Shut it," Oberon warned, his claw nearly breaking the fragile china as he stared at them all.
'They feared me...they still fear me," Ritsuka was shaking now as much as his voice was earlier. "Me….I did everything to bring them back the second time around. I wanted my family, my biological one, back...but in the end I lost them because of who I became...I lost who I became again here."
"How so master," Mycroft asked, sipping his tea now without much thought.
"I wanted to show these heroes that it is okay not to save everyone, that some people do not deserve to live to the end of their time, that sometimes being a bit greedy is what you need to continue on...but no," he sighed, leaning back. "This world wants superheroes that have no faults, and by damn do they try their hardest."
"Stupid if you ask me. But then again most humans are," the Fairy King grunted as he idly added sugar and cream to his tea.
"Well, I do not blame you," Mycroft began. "The modern era is all about saving as many as you can, but even then there have been...clerical errors when it comes to certain people...I would know," he coughed, smiling as his masters smirk. "I do find myself a bit troubled with the amount of people they allow to live, considering their crimes and all," he sniffed. "I mean...Moonfish?"
"Could have ended the lot of them with my Noble Phatasmn and they would be none the wiser," Oberon commented.
"Hmm…They want to hide their evil side...but that just makes their fall harder," Ritsuka breathed. "I would assume you would be alright with that." He turned to Oberon who merely shrugged.n
"And you on the other hand...you make it no secret that the evil side you've come to gain throughout your journey is very visible, unlike most heroes you have your charm, your wits and other aspects that can easily conceal it without much fanfare," Mycroft smiled as Merlin shot him a warning glance. "Very human of you."
"I won't deny that I am a bastard in many senses of the word," Ritsuka smiled. "But I can't help but want to be one in the wake of this overwhelming feeling of Golden Heroism."
"Hmmm."
"I'm merely peeved that we all got labeled as murderers and thugs when we've only killed about 200 high profile killers and traffickers combined," Merlin began, munching on some sponge cake angrily. "In the last year only 200! And yet we've come to be known as the 'Murderous Agency! It's outrageous," he grunted, grabbing another cake. "Not including seraphix, but then again those are people who fought us or had no one to go too besides a life of crime.
"Not Villainy?"
"They don't know real villains," Merlin sneered. "They were thugs, that's all. True evil….is something they have yet to experience."
"For once, as much as it loathes me to say this...I agree with the Mage," Oberon admitted with a defeated sigh. "They don't know true evil, they don't know what it means to be the ones to face it's wrath."
"Their witch hunt, so to say, has been a bit intense," Mycroft nodded, moving the plate of sponge cake away from the angry half incubus. "I will concede to that," he murmured.
"Good! Because it has been!" Merlin pouted as he crossed his arms and leaned back into his chair.
"They are not without any evidence," Ritsuka admitted, placing his tea down. "And I will admit I let us run amok for far too long...but I couldn't help it. Up until this point we have been waiting to be attacked by the Association. Our use of Rayshift was heavily monitored and all we could do was lounge around and mock fights...We got antsy. We expected war and even now we are locked in a tense waiting game."
"Not the best way to blow off steam but drug and human trafficking has been down a record 500% in this world since you've shown...and now its' back up 1000% due to the lack of Chaldean presence."
"I hear rumrors that it was rare to get more than...well 3 or 4 reported cases os missing children. Now it's shot up," Merlin hummed. "And now their stuck with attempting to stem the bleeding while ensuring they don't kil anyone."
"Their heroes don't kill and capture if possible. We will kill to save all those innocent children," Ritsuka murmured. "Save them from untold and unknown horrors that await them in the arms of true monsters."
"Good."
"I will admit...I do prefer the Association to these bastards," Ritsuka began, leaning forward to stare into their eyes. "They were bastards, much like the comission but they have nothing to loose. The commission needs every little person on the planet believing they are a force for good, hyping themselves up. The association, they lied, they tried to make themselves seem nice. But in the end...it's all a ruse for them to get what they want in the end, everyone comes to learn the true evil of them and that was what them a...bit better persay. Even then they aren't all combined under a single goal."
"The commissions don't care about the people, much like the Association, but I guess that's what made the latter more bearable than the former. And we did have some people on out side in the association.I still hate them both," Merlin grumbled as Mycroft hummed. "They didn't really bother to hide it too much…"
"As much as hearing about the two is fun," he turned to his master who nodded and spoke what was on his mind. "We have bigger issues?"
"Though the fact of the matter stands, we have at least 5 rogue servants and the threat of the papers still looming over our heads as we prepare to head back to I-Island," he began, getting up. "They are going to attack that place and knowing the true threat of those papers we can't hide anymore."
"Master...you can't," Merlin began. "To go all out with our magic and powers…"
"Of my 11 most trusted and all the casters that I will be taking, I expect the full use of your powers during that time," he turned to Merlin who nodded. "I will expect that you all try with all your might to ensure that the people's minds are protected."
"Understood."
"How is the real System Mnemosyne?"
"Da Vinci has concluded it is fritzing out like before with the Case File incident. So the papers will prove to be a problem..which leads to another problem…"
'How one paper got into my bed on I-Island," Ritsuka hummed as he looked at Merlin who nodded solemnly. "I don't even have an answer for that…"
"It must have been in Seraphix and reacted to all the blueprints of the System when we were first on the Island," Merlin offered up, looking unsure. "That is the only possible conclusion I could make since the Shikigami could have only come in contact with you when you went to Seraphix to speak of Archimedes!"
'What do you think we can expect?"
"I doubt we will be experiencing anything like Patchwork London, from what I could glean from the reports of that time and seeing it from the memory bank you keep. It won't be something like that...initially," Mycroft began, leaning forward with a serious glint in his eyes. "But...We can't rule out the adverse effects it will have on the people."
"That's a given...but does this have the potential to become a singularity,' Ritsuka pushed.
"Hard to tell from the info we have now. If the rumors of there being many more papers than we believe...then yes. If they are distributed before we can stop them, then most certainly. Since I-Island is an isolated place with a population then it will become a Patchwork Island for sure,' Merlin commented, eyes flicking from his tea to his master who rubbed his temples. "But even then, you would know better than any of us if it has the potential to become a singularity."
"I remember missing this feeling, the ache in my head as we tried to figure out what the FUCK is going to happen...now that it's back...not so much," he grumbled, grabbing a sponge cake and nibbling on it. "As for the singularity bit...I would prefer to be wrong."
"Ahaha! I know right master," Merlin could already sense the overtime that he was soon going to be facing along with Skadi, Waver, his adorable caster Artoria and Tamamoe.
Ah...just like old times...well he was already facing overtime...but this would be more like the old times.
He could already feel the ache in his bones and fatigue.
"Enough of this Singularity talk. Now back on track...how are things with everyone? I've been holed up in my room for a bit, so I do apologize for making you both monitor everyone." Ritsuka asked, sitting back down.
"Lots of sex going on," Mycroft coughed. "A lot of it."
"Not our fault this world is soo prudish on relationship and sex between heroes," Merlin laughed as Ritsuka enjoyed the banter. "Like idols, seemingly we can't have normal relationships if we're really in the limelight."
'Well there really is nothing to do here aside from IT if you have someone to do it with," Ritsuka grumbled as he closed his eyes, leaning back and basking in the soft light of the garden and the shade of the tree.
"Too bad, Chaldea doesn't give any fucks!" Merlin laughed as Mycroft sighed.
"Yes, yes. I also need you all to do something for me," he began, smiling as Oberon perked up and smiled. "Yes, I mean you specifically. Since you have been wanting to do this since day one."
"I can fucking ruin that erasure hero," he cheered.
"I can make it better," Ritsuka giggled as he placed his cheek on his closed fist. "How about you hold blackmail over him?"
"But…"
"He's useful to a degree. I don't want to loose him to hatred to soon," he hummed as Oberon huffed.
'Your cruel master, very, very cruel!"
"I know. But at least we still have a leash on him for the time being. After all that little comment about the wasting resources in less than 1%...ooh that's going to land him in some hot water," Ritsuka smiled as Mycroft and Merlin laughed into their tea.
'Ah, the memories I have," Mycroft began, taking out his pipe and filling it with his usual blend. "Of doing such things."
"I also need you to work with Astraea," Ritsuka took the offered pipe and breathed in a sigh of relief as the intoxictaing smoke filled his lungs. "For those little pests that broke into our outposts and threatened our...staff."
"I've heard the charges," Merlin smiled. "Breaking and Entering, trespassing, Vandalism, Destruction of Property, Attempting to Steal Classifiied information and Intent to Cause Bodlily harm on a High Ranking Offical! Ooh, the time they will serve!"
"I feel as if the moment Astraea stated our intentions most people will try and end themselves," Oberon waved off. "But that will be a nice admission of their guilt."
"Oh shush," Ritsuka warned, but his tone suggested he really wasn't going to bother reigning him in. "Before things get out of hand..How is Mashu and the rest of the Staff in Stasis?"
Merlin fell silent as Mycroft sipped his tea in stony silence.
"About that…"
"What," he asked.
"We have some reports of suspicious activities outside of Seraphix…"
"Explain."
UA
Aizawa was in a bad enough mood when he finished classes for the day, his confrontation with Hitoshi Shinso; one of Fujimaru's favorite students, was stuck in his head.
"Sho…" Hizashi began. "You should justy drop the idea of him giving the pin to you. He owes Fujimaru a lot...he made sure he was in the Hero Course before he left. Even his scores in the sports festival wouldn't have put him in."
"I still hate looking at that damned thing."
"I know Sho," Hizashi sighed, looking lost. "But you can't be wasting your energy on trying to interrogate the kid when we have enough on our plates!"
"This is so illogical," Shouta felt his eye twitch as he looked at the amount of cases he had on his table. "Expecting heroes to finish 6 cases a month and underground heroes are expected to finish 9 a month. On top of teaching…"
"Aizawa," Nezu coughed, popping up on Powerloaders shoulders as all the teachers filed in. "We have a problem."
"Huh?"
"This," the principal handed a letter, fancy one at that with gold filigree and a wax seal, to the confused man who stiffened at the symbol on the wax.
Chaldea's symbol.
"What is this," he asked, ripping the opened letter out of the envelope.
"It's a warning...so to say," he coughed, Hiazshi coming behind him to read along with him.
To Shouta Aizawa also known as Eraserhead.
This is nothing more than an official reminder that any slander against Chaldea spoken to the public can and will be taken to court. Most, if not all, of conversations had with the Director Fujimaru Ritsuka have been recorded and documented for both security and privacy reasons pertaining to Chaldean security and effieceny. If you are to continue going to the media and pushing false informations and damaging accusations against us, we will have no choice but to release these in compensation for going against the warnings you have been given. Most notable are comments about the state of towns with less than 1% of crime rate and the resorces being used or wasted, as you said yourself. Along with your statement of illegally looking into classified documents from the Directors tablet and sharing them amongst your peers. Similar letters have been sent to all others involved in that incident. We hope you heed our advice and keep your end of the deal.
From the official Lawyer of Chaldea,
Lady of Justice, Astraea.
"What the hell…" Hizashi swallowed as Shouta stood stock still. "Shouta what the hell is this!'
"Likewise UA has been warned currently that any attempt to take the items gifted to students, most notable the books and pins on there person is considered theft and all students have been given letters informing themselves of how to...to sue us," Nezu finished. "I will admit they are resourceful and smart...we never realized they have a leash on us even after they left until they told us."
"What now?"
"That's obvious isn't it," Vlad King sighed. "We keep our damned mouths shut, tell our kids the same and walk away from any reporters attempting to ask questions."
"Things are getting tense in the school though! B1 and A1 are practically at one another's throats and the first year support course has been protesting any schoolwork until Powerloader gives them permission to use the forge that Chaldea gave UA. The general education classes refuse to acknowledge teachers and Business have begun to obess over the image of Chaldea and the effect they've had recently," Midnight scoffed. "Not to mention that things are getting hectic in everyday life with villains seemingly unafraid of coming out a bit more than before."
"It's more than that! We're basically working 2 fulltime jobs at the moment with the workload we all have," Cementoss groaned as he slammed the file he was reading down.
"I fear that things will only become more complicated as this continues on. We don't have enough qualified heroes and the interns can't possibly work on any of these cases as well. The amount of random cases as well have begun to skyrocket and the missing persons cases which where simply only 1-3 world wide have now become more common," Nezu sighed. "And we're being threatened with lawsuits should we disclose anything they don't like...and they have blackmail on all of us," he eyed Aizawa who merely grunted.
"What should we do then? Barring the obvious?"
"Well…
"Hey," Izuku looked up to see Shinso staring at him with an intense gaze, his crazy untamable hair blocking most of his view as he approached. "I need to talk to you."
"Wh.. for," he stumbled for words, confused as to why he wanted to talk.
"Tch," his face contorted into one of annoyance as he stared at Izuku. "All that confidence when shit talking Fujimaru Sensei and then when someone your equal comes along you turn into a deer in headlights."
"H...Huh," he asked, stepping back as Shinso's eye twitched.
"I knew it," he spat. "Just because Sensei was quirkless you saw him as someone who couldn't pull his weight! Your a quirkest!"
"That is not true," Izuku snarled out quickly, white hot anger bubbling inside of him. "You don't know anything about me!" He was shaking where he stood, wanting to blurt it all out but knowing he couldn't because of the promise he made to Torino and All Might.
"I know you well enough to know that you don't think Fujimaru Sensei is capable of the things you saw for yourself!"
"He's a liar! He has a quirk and he refuses to tell the world. He's hiding his talent for some reason and it's suspicious," he insisted. "And whatever that reason is! It can't be good!"
"God your such an idiot! Do you realize how quirkest you sound," Hitoshi snapped as he pushed his hair back. "Why where you the one that always got underneath sensei's skin! He was so pissed the day after the USJ incident when I went to the museum! You did something that made him mad!"
"Why do you care," Izuku demanded. "You said you never received special treatment but your obsessed with him!"
"I owe a lot to him, okay," Hitoshi glowered at Izuku. "I owe him a lot because I am here, in the hero course where he believed I belonged the moment he met me! He was the first to believe in me and I trust him more than I trust the teachers in this damned school! All they care about is flashy quirks because that is what sells and that is what gets them funding!"
"Fujimaru Sensei was always so negative! And he had a twisted view of things! It's not right for him to push it onto us when we have our own path we want to follow," Izuku insisted, he stoo up straighter at the scoff Hitoshi let out before he locked gazes.
"Sure it was pessimistic in the best of times, but what he said wasn't wrong," Hitoshi protested. "Look, people will always try and trample over others. He was just making sure we knew how to handle and deal with it when it happens. Even heroics is subject to the greed and pride of others."
"The commission-"
"This is why he was toughest on you, you know," Hitoshi shook his head. "The commission only helps when it benefits them! The whole Water Hose incident was averted and they LIVED because they got a lucky break from Chaldea! They where going to martyr them for the whole world and then send some new flashy hero to finish the job, because that's how they work! It's always been like that. Why can't you see that? I thought you where the hero obsessed geek!"
"It's wrong and it's not possible for such a corrupt system to get in the way of heroics," Izuku was firm on that belief. "So many people are allowed to do good in this world and defeat those who would do bad! The commission makes it all possible with rules and regulations that stop people from going crazy and doing what they want!"
"Your just a little sheep following the shepard blindly you know," Hitoshi shook his head. "Not even caring if your heading toward slaughter. I am amazed that you made it this far in life with that mentality. You must have been really sheltered," he gave a mirthless grin before taking a few steps forward, Izuku responding by stepping back. "All it takes is a little bit of research to see some inconsistsancies and weird happening of the commission. It's not that deep and it's certainly not that well hidden."
"I have done research and it's all good-"
"How about you move pasty the first 3 pages of goggle huh," Hitoshi snarked, rolling his eyes as he leaned back on his heels. "The internet isn't always the most trustworthy you know?"
"You are just spewing out the same thing that Fujimaru Sensei was," Izuku accused. "If your going to preach about having our own ideas, then how about you do the same."
"Tch," Hitoshi's face twisted into a sneer before he dropped his hand from his hair and turned around. "I can see I am not going to really get anywhere with you at the moment so I am leaving this conversation before I become really pissed off," he waved before heading out.
"Wait! Where not done-"
'I think we are. I am in no mood to beat a dead horse right now," Hitoshi huffed before fully leaving the hall.
"What is with him," Izuku mutter, shaking his head. "He's the one...he's the one whose wrong…"

"And explain to me why we can't release these papers," All For One demanded as he looked to his servants who shifted in place.
"For one, we don't have Chaldea to take the fall for them," Alter Ego began.
"I don't really care about them at this point. The Commission has ruined them and they aren't likely to come back very soon. I want to destroy society as it is now and rebuild it-"
"And as noble of a couRse as that is Master," Alter Ego interrupted. "These papers are dangerous and while we are strong, we lack the real numbers to be able to subdue these things when the time comes. While we might have the technique, we can't risk these things getting out of control and wer certainly cannot risk being caught up in cleaning up our own plot when this has proven to get out of hand."
"Then maybe you should work harder in finding ways to subdue it then," he snapped to the Servant who held back his hand as it wanted to throw a Shikigami at the eyeless face before him.
"It's not that simple. Chaldean tech in notorious for being complicated and...fickle," he coughed. "EWven our dearest Foreigner isn't one to pry into such dangerous and unknown territory," he nodded to the woman beside him who held her fan up in an attempt to hide her sneer.
"As Alter Ego said, it's not so simple. The Papers are literally sucking memories and if rtoo many are absorbed the whole world could become distorted and even we could loose our memories on how to...fix such a problem," she coughed.
"Then your simply proving me right about you being lesser than those Chaldea hacks," he scoffed.
"Make no mistake we are strong. So do not call us Hacks Shigaraki," Alter Ego's eyes flashed in warning as he snapped open his own fan and sent two divine foxes snarling and ready to pounce before All For One. "Master or not, you do not have the means to subdue or kill us. So I would suggest that you listen and heed our advice. Magic is long since gone from this world and we are more than well versed in it to kill you before you even notice a thing."
"I could simply break off that damned mana connection you need-"
"How about I devour that little boy your using as a toy at the moment," Foreigner smirked. "He is a good conduit for Mana and he's sustain me for a few weeks," her smile was down right devilish as she stared at All For One who was looking between the two of them with a scowl.
"We ask you be patient master," Alter Ego called back the foxes to his side, but he didn't send them off. "Chaldea isn't know to fully leave a situation behind unresolved and we have the class B1 to use. He liked them the best...though it will be hard to hurt them from a distance."
"What?"
"Fujimaru is no fool," he smiled. "Those pins that have been a source of discord in the school? They are actually protective charms given to them by Fujimaru, they where made by the finest Alchemists and Mages under his employment. So any and all mental debuff are useless. And we aren't in a state good enough to go out into the open...me and my friend at least," he bowed. "So we have to target them carefully and up close."
"Or….you could target A-1 while the others are there," Lucrezia hummed as she picked thorough some treats they bought earlier. "Discord is high in that preppy school," she giggled, winking at Alter Ego who raised a brow. "Those charms were taken away by their homeroom teacher and no extra measures, as far as me and brother could sense, were left on those brats. Besides, Ritsuka isn't one to beat a dead horse."
'That might be a good ieda-"
"No," Foreigner snapped her fan shut. "That is a horrid idea."
"Fujimaru and A-1 never got along. He barely even spoke, much less personally interacted with them."
"I have been keeping a closer eye than you all thought," she explained. "The two dumb ones? Kaminari and Mina? They often went to Fujimaru for tutoring and he made them specialized books to help them with classes. Tenya Iida idolizes his brother and went to Fujimaru with an apology and began to see...more on his side so to say."
"It' doesn't mean that he is on his," Alter Ego scoffed. "Why waste our time with them? 3 out of 20 isn't even good-"
"But Fujimaru is a bleeding heart so to say," she hummed. 'Even if it's only three...it's three he is able to help and fully help at that," she smirked. "And they are children. Lord knows he bends over backwards of children given his track record."
"That is true..but lest we forget, he is one to hold a grudge to-"
'Not when it comes to children like them. Innocent and dumb," she smirked. "He even told that scary Douman to save that explosive brat," she brushed off. "He is going to try and save them no matter what. It's simply who is as a human."
"Is he even a human anymore," Ceasre hummed as he grabbed a glass of wine from the table. "I mean...he doesn't think like one, not anymore at least."
"I don't want to hear this," All For One interrupted them, the room shaking at his annoyance with them. They stared at him unimpressed. "I want to know when we will be able to use these to not only hindwer Fujimaru but end All Might.?"
'All Might, All Might, All Might," Alter Ego mused as Foreigner continued her explanation. 'All that idiot cares about is ending All Might who already has a foot in the damned grave. Not one to think much further? Not like the man can get his organs back and Fujimaru is one about setting examples. No doubt he's withholding helping him to show the effects of his life and his legacy….He'd never help him'.
"We will take out leave," Foreigner bowed before grabbing Alter Ego by the arm and marching out.
"Someone is mad," he murmured as the assassin duo followed them out.
'I will smash his head," she growled out.
'Ahahah! I see that he indeed ha a way with you," Alter Ego commented as Caster and the Assassin's snorted.
"He has a way of infuriating us all," she hummed, the others eyeing the crazed Caster as she picked up a randon trinket before throwing it to the side. "After all he was so easy to deceive in the end. As long as one Nomu is alive for each of us, we have more than enough mana...to exist and perhaps fight. But unlocking our noble phatasms is hard," she growled, eyes narrowed as her feet dug into the plush carpet. "We don't have enough mana to do such a thing...because that damned Chaldea has taken it all!"
"They know what the deal is when they enter an strange land. Get resources and get shelter. After that, it's time to plan...they are no fools when it comes down to this,' Alter Ego shrugged as he moved to get Sake. "Now..let's talk on our current state of things," he smiled, showing the bottle. "I am sure we have something interesting all to say...I heard Barca was scoping out two places that Chaldea has currently left."
"Ah, the Tartarus Prison and Nabu Island," Lucrezia hummed as she grabbed an apple and mindless began to munch on it. "I have a feeling Nabu Island will not be easy...I doubt they left it from the rumors I heard when they spoke out on the street."
'Rumors?"
"Well it's rich in mana...and...well I heard there might even be a grail fragment there," she smirked at their jolts.
"Explain," he demanded.
"Well…"
CHALDEA 3.0
"Another message,' Ritsuka commented as he poured himself another glass of wine at the bar.
"It's been endless," Mycroft sighed as he looked through the tablet he was given. "What an annoyance...I thought I left this behind when I was summoned."
"I would assume so, after all Aizawa has attempted to steal Hitoshi's phone multiple times," Ritsuka smiled as he swirled his wine in his glass. "I didn't want to leave but I live to appease humanity." He gave a childish giggle to his disbelieving stare.
"Impossible," Mycroft sighed, looking to his master who smiled in response. "You appease yourself. You love humanity, but I can tell very well that you despise it as well. No thanks to the association of course."
"You'd think after many, many, MANY warnings," he hummed, putting the rim to his lips. "They'd understand I have no interest in them and strengthening my line so to say," he breathed out. "But to think they's actually put out a death warrent on my head."
"If they could neither have nor control you, then they simply wanted you dead," Mycroft explained. "You where a liablity in the long run."
"Liablity," he mused, swirling the minute amount of wine left from his long sip. "Liablity...after all that I had done to save humans and to save them...haaa," he sighed, placing the glass down gently onto the glass countertop. "I want to bash their stupid faces in," he mused, looking far off as he stared into the glass.
Mycroft wisely stayed silent.
He had heard how Fujimaru was a bit...of a loose screw so to say.
He was a genius in man aspects, the art of warfare and battle where his bread and butter. Communication and manipulation was child's play to him.
But he was once a child….a child forced to take up those rather unsavory ascpects. He was a child afflicted by horrific trauma and forced to make horrific choices with horrific consequences for the good of them and others.
And that is simply all he really knows. All he knows how to do is fight, lead and restore.
That's all he's comfortable with.
"Oh come off it," Ritsuka grunted, flicking Mycroft on the forehead musch to his dismay. "I might be fucked up in the head, but I am comfortable in myself. Even if the 'me' now is...quite monstrous compared to all those years ago."
"Would you go back and do it again," Mycroft found himself asking, ignoring the warning looks he received ikn the bar from many other patrons and even Moriarty himself. "Do it again to save those that you failed to the first time?'
"Is that even a question," his master smiled, bright and happy...but with a twinge of madness at the edges. "I'd even suffwer like Oryou and Sakamoto when he made that promise fo Alaya," he giggled.
"Your truly one for pain aren't you master?'
"You have to be if your going to survive a world like this," he explained, looking neither annoyed nor bothered by all the looks he was getting.
"Are you speaking of our world or this one?"
"You can decide,' he winked, getting up with a nod of thanks to Moriarty and a snarky compliment about real booze he was given before leaving.
"You have some balls Holmes," Moriarty hummed as he grabbed a glass and his shaker. "The usual I presume?"
"If you could,' he nodded. "And I am merely looking to see how detached his is from his own humanity. It's strange to say that he seemingly knows that he is."
'Oh, he knows," Sakamoto Lancer hummed as he stirr his whiskey, turning away from his Rider counterpart to look at the foreigner. "Master is very much in tune with himself and mystics...but he is a bit off tune when it comes to humans and even his own humanity at times. Kinda like us counterforce agents at times." He turned to his Rider counter part who was murmuring about how he's the only counter force guardian of the two and how his deal wasn't too bad.
"That's what I was afraid of." Mycroft felt as if his head was about to explode.
"We know, we know,' Lancer Sakamoto smiled as Ryoma shook his head. "It's a bit worrying, but in the end he knows what he is doing and he knows what he wants out of this life...be it at home or in this world."
"And that is what I am afraid of," Mycroft pressed. "He knows, most people don't know that they are...that they are…"
'One the edge of sanity and madness," Moriarty hummed as he placed the finished drunk down beside Mycrofts tablet. "We know. That;s just how Master is. Too perceptive for his own good, and too willing to burden it all for to be healthy," he shook his head. "Makes you wonder what he expects out of life."
"Nothing," Oberon was actually solemn for once. "He expects nothing because he is always anticipating to die...like an insect," he grumbled, downing the last shot he had before him. "He expects nothign but his death in the end and that says a lot about the one who always says he wants to live."
"You call our master a liar?'
"Isn't he," the Fairy King shot back to Moriarty's shallow smirk. "He's about a great a liar as I am myself."
"Hmmm."
"I take it that Hitoshi did as I asked," Ritsuka asked the empty room he sat in.
A swoosh in the air told him the person he spoke to appeared and he opened his eyes to look into Fumma's.
"He has disposed of the tickets to I-Expo given to him by the commissions. It is cowardly for them to try and use him to get to us," the Ninja growled as he slammed his fist into the ground. "But he will not come."
"And I assume you have relayed the message to all those teachers and students regaridn the pins," he contemplated as Fumma nodded his head.
"I have as well delivered the backpacks containing the materials for Denki and Mina for their class," he inclined his head. "They where worrying about their grades when I went to gift it to them," he explained. "It seems during the first week without your tutoring they attempted to try and go to the library but their dyslexia made it difficult for them and they forfeited it."
"Tch...they really should do something about those hard of learning children," Ritsuka's face turned up ino a sneer as he thought about those two. "They where so behind in all there classes...even their test scores where...dear lord," he shook his head as he leaned back. "I assume they where overjoyed when they discovered the items?"
"They looked relieved, I believe that Aizawa was scolding them for using the confusion of us leaving as a way to slack off," Fumma informed him with a growl.
"Idiot," Ritsuka was tired of hearing the man. "How he's a teacher with his work ethic I will never know."
"Shall I continue to send them the resources? I understand you are still have Chiron, Chen and Waver making the materials for them," he inquired.
"Yes," he nodded. "Lord knows that the only thing worse than an overly cocky hero is a dumb one," he placed a hand on his head to try and push the headache out.
"Indeed master," he nodded his head before shyly looking up. "Master...what are we actually going to do with the people we left behind? The heroes have recklessly handed out supplies and aide without limiting how much per person. They have fully run out…"
"We left a plan and backups," Ritsuka stated, eyes closed as he relaxed his tense muscles. "It's not our fault when they choose not to follow it even when we warned them."
"I know...but…"
"Don't worry about it," Ritsuka assured his shinobi. "I have the casters and others stocking up on medical supplies and non perishables at the moment."
Fumma's tense shoulders dropped and he released the breath he was unconsciously holding, smiling as he looked up to the knowing look of his own master who raised a questioning brow at him.
"I am just glad that your heart still is gold," he inclined his head to his master who rolled his eyes in a mock annoyed fashion.
"Well, go back to the Assassin Lounge for the time being. Be ready to be sent out soon on recon and watching over the children hmm?"
'Of course," he nodded, earnest as every before vanishing.
"Haaa," Ritsuka sighed, leaning back into his chair as he contemplated everything. "It's going to be a hellish few months," he shook his head, hand over his face as he stared out into the dim light of the room he was in. "Come on out you four."
His shadow suddenly burst out, growing and molding into four towering men who stared him down with glowing gazes.
"Master," Edmond nodded, moving to grab the tray of coffee that was set out and making his special brew.
"I am sure that we will have a splendid time together master," Ashiya smiled, clapping his hands together as his master stared him down with a disbeliving look. "After all, we will have so much to share now that my Shikigami are plastered all over the world to monitor along with Mr. Holmes."
"Tch," Oberon rolled his eyes as he flopped on the couch opposite of Ritsuka.
"Goetia...I can trust you to keep on eye on our friends on I-Island for the time being? Until we head back over," Ritsuka turned to the Beast who nodded his head. "I will entrust you with that mission then. And I will see you in 2 weeks time."
"I await you arrival in two weeks time," he nodded before vanishing.
"And you three have your own assignments. Stop tailing me and get them finished up,' Ritsuka ordered. "We have two weeks until the Expo so make sure that all preparations are complete...and set me up with a meeting with Twice. I need to speak to him again."
'Of course," Ashiya bowed before vanishing with Oberon's 'Don't order me Around'.
A tea cup filled with steaming coffee was placed before Ritsuka as Edmond bowed and looked up at him.
"I will fulfill my task, but my duty is to protect you. Even in Chaldea, there will be rats lurking about."
"I know Count," Ritsuka smiled. "But I can count on everyone to clean house...so how is our guest?"
"You mean the little stowaway rat that the Commission believed they could send in with us," he asked, his eyes turning into a brighter ambers and two iris' emerged. "He has...sung like a canary so to say," he smirked. "About all that he was ordered to do."
"I see...and has the commission agreed to our demands yet for his return?"
"No...they are under the impression that if we want to get back to hero work legally, then we will leave the little rat unharmed," his voice was twinged with annoyance and malice as he stare down into the glowing blue eyes of his master.
"Ho…' he hummed. "Did we not warn them that unless they met our demands of privacy we would remove something one by one?"
"I can tell Carmilla to begin preparations. What would you like to use? Toes? Fingers? Arms? Legs?"
"No," he shook his head. "No need to permanently scar him, can't have this isolation last forever...get the fingernail remover."
"Understood. Photo evidence included?"
"If you could, to make it believable," he giggled.
"I will get right on it master...excuse the screams as well. Their...secert agents, aren't well versed in torture nowadays it seems," he excused himself with a bow before vanishing.
Without a word Ritsuka grabbed the cooling cup of coffee, savoring the rich scent that wafted from the cup. Taking a gentle sip the rich flavors and overpowering scent flowed through him just as the first scream and pleading for mercy began.
"Reminds me of the old days of the association sending rats in," he commented mindlessly before continuing to savor his drink.
