"Today's the day, young Kyōryokyna." All for One states in Kokei's ear. Kokei was already standing up and out of bed, undressing himself of his red and black checkered pajamas. It was very early in the morning. So early, in fact, that the sun was still asleep. Outside Kokei's window was a bleak and dark wasteland, in such a middle time zone where the streetlights outside U.A. were off yet the sun still ceased to show itself.
"Yes, it is." Kokei agrees, picking up his neatly folded and prepped black sweatpants and plain blue T-shirt, from his desk. "Today's the day Kro's unchecked torment is stopped, indefinitely."
"Do you seriously plan on killing him?" Shihai questions, "how're you gonna dispose his body? And you still don't even know what his quirk really is, or what it's fully capable of."
Kokei hums as he pulls his sweatpants over his right leg, then his left followed after. "You bring up good points, Shihai. But, I've already covered those subjects in my plan too." Kokei stands up, he was still shirtless and his abs had gained much more definition to them. As well as his gruesome scar on his left shoulder, still being a purple and red lump, of which, stuck out like a sore thumb.
Kokei paces to his battered punching bag, grabbing hold of it with his left hand. "Once I eliminate him, I'll have my 'friends' help me rid his presence. I already told them before bed, last night, to expect a call from me around 7am." Kokei uses his right hand to uncover a piece of black fabric from the bag and revealing the blinking red transmitter embedded to the bag. "It's true about his quirk, but there's no research I can do about the guy. He's a damn mystery, the bleak information I know about him is likely the most out of everyone who's ever met him."
"And that's barely anything, good job, Kro!" Neito cheers, "he always was hard to talk to, but now that's a good thing."
"Heh, yeah, it is." Kokei narrows his eyes at the transmitter as he thought about his current information on Kro. "I believe his quirk involves either teleportation or super speed. As well as his crows have the ability to suspend the movement of body muscles."
Kokei hums in thought, he wondered if there was some way to counter Kro's unconfirmed quirk and capabilities. "There's gotta be someway to tire him out, perhaps constantly applying pressure is my best course of action. He's gotta get tired from running that fast continuously and, when he slows, that's when I'll strike." Kokei pauses, "that sound good, AfO?"
All for One chuckles, slowly nodding his head in approval. "Couldn't have thought of anything better myself."
"Perfect." Kokei responds, but then, suddenly, Kokei's phone alarm goes off. The default sound effect rings loudly, causing for Kokei to abruptly let go of his punching bag and lunging to his bedside table and turning off the alarm. Kokei didn't need to see the time on the phone, based on how that alarm went off now, it proved that it was now 5:50am.
Kokei felt anxious and nervous, as well as excited and eager all at once. Kokei breathed in and out calmly, "it'll be fine, everything will be fine." Kokei reassured himself, putting his phone back on his bedside table and quickly putting on his shirt.
Then, right after getting fully dressed, Kokei jogs out his room and locks the door behind him, his mind focused solely upon his impending meeting. Kokei smirks as he imagines his plan working on Kro and attaining the upper-hand on him. After imagining this, Kokei whispers to himself: "You're dead, bird boy."

U.A.'s gymnasium was positioned quite a few yards away from the high school. This was to keep them separated and constantly have the noise lax during classes. All surrounding it was grass, except for the paved pathway to the entrance.
Behind the gymnasium was an equally green and flat grasslands. The grass was all cut down to less than 2 inches and the morning dew lay planted atop the blades of grass. There were many trees behind the school, largely separated throughout the large area and only about 10 trees in total. All small and green leaved trees that were used more for decor than anything.
Standing firmly at the direct back of the gym, was the black hair and blue eyed boy: Kro. He wore a simple and cheap white shirt with sleek black pants to conflict the colors. A flurry of crows flocked around him, consisting of only 4 crows. This was different from his fluctuating number of which varied between 6 to 8.
Kro had his eyes fixated on his silver coated pocket watch. Kro clicks his tongue in annoyance, "5:59 and counting. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my message." Kro contemplates, raising his eyes from the watch to gauge the path that connected his location to the dorms.
There was an approaching figure from the distance, it was hard for Kro to make out who it was due to the dim lighting. Even so, Kro spoke aloud to the approaching figure. "You're cutting it close, Kokei, I don't appreciate people who refuse to respect time. Especially when it applies to my own."
The approaching figure doesn't initially respond, instead, they come in closer until only a couple yards separate the two. The figure had stepped off the path and was also stood on the grass, not much distance between the two. By now, Kro could see the details on the person's face due to the close proximity. Kro was correct, it was Kokei. "I'm still here before 6, aren't I?"
Kro scoffs and gives Kokei a toothy grin, "to be on time is to be late." Kro checks his pocket watch, the time was only a few seconds after 6am. "You're lucky I kept faith in you coming late, otherwise, we wouldn't be talking right now."
Kokei huffs, 'what's he insinuating?' Kokei wondered as he looked over his shoulder, he felt someone else was watching him- not just Kro. "What would've happened instead?"
Kro shrugs nonchalantly, "let's not explore that possibility. It didn't happen, that's all that matters." Kro inhales and exhales calmly, "besides, that's not what I brought you here to discuss."
Kokei crosses his arms one over the other, trying to look intimidating. "I figured as much." Kokei uses his right hand to cover his mouth as he lets out an exaggerated yawn, "let's hurry this up before I fall back asleep." Kokei glares at Kro with unnoticeable malicious intent behind it, "don't disregard my time, now."
Kro smiles, "certainly." Kro clears his throat, bringing both his hands to his sides and into his pant pockets. "Let's start with the basics. Would you call yourself heroic?"
Kokei hums in confusion, "what..? What kind of question is that? I've been in the hero course for months now, obviously I would."
Kro nods, "alright. And would you still agree when we're using 'heroic' in terms of selflessness and devoid of malicious intent?"
Kokei narrows his gaze on Kro, he didn't understand what Kro was trying to accomplish with these questions. "Yes, I still agree."
"Of course, of course." Then, without much delay, Kro asks his next question quickly and abruptly. "Then you haven't committed any major illegal activities, right?"
Kokei gasps, "what!? What the hell are you on about?! Why is that even a question? Of course I haven't!" Kokei shakes his head, "this is ridiculous, a waste of my time." Kokei turns away from Kro and begins on his walk away from the boy. Kokei quickly paces away from Kro, nearly speed-walking away.
After Kokei takes a few steps away, Kro makes a simple and confident last-ditch statement. "Okay, I'll be informing the authorities about your connection to Shihai Kuroiro's disappearance, then."
Instantaneously, as though Kro hit the stop button on Kokei's brain, Kokei stops moving altogether. It takes a long few tedious and drawn out seconds before Kokei made any movements. "What'd you say?" Kokei questions, he kept his back to Kro as to not show the obvious concern on Kokei's face. His eyes were wide and his forehead was beginning to perspire.
"Was what I said unclear?" Kro asks innocently, Kokei knew Kro was toying with his mind. But, Kokei didn't know what the extent of what Kro knew.
"No, no, I.. I heard what you said." Kokei responds, he was in disarray. "I'm just failing to understanding what I have to do with Shihai's disappearance."
Kro smirks, "well, if you come back over here, I can explain my findings to you."
Kokei pauses for a few more moments, he was contemplating his options. The obvious choice, in Kokei's mind, was to urgently lunge at Kro and use any means necessary to end his life. But, for all Kokei knew, Kro had all his 'findings' on a hard drive somewhere and set it to automatically upload today unless he, alone, tells it not to.
With all this in mind, Kokei reluctantly shifts his body around. "Good, now we can talk." Kro removes his hands from his pockets and intertwines them behind his back. "Let's begin where it started, hm?" Kro asks rhetorically, not awaiting a response from Kokei before continuing to speak.
"Shihai Kuroiro was last seen inside a cafe located in the city. This day, coincidentally, was directly after entrance exam results were sent to the contestants. At first glance, that seems like a meaningless thing to point out, but, when you take into consideration a certain factor- it makes things connect later." Kro stops talking momentarily, "say, does the name Soba Shin ring any bells?"
In that moment, Kokei felt his palms and forehead were simultaneously sweating. Kokei's heart was beating out his chest and a million ideas came into mind. But, the most prominent of them all, was the honest thought: 'That's the name of the boy who was with Shihai that day.'
But Kokei couldn't just admit that. If he admitted to it, it'd give Kro all the momentum he needs to begin piecing things together even further. "No.."
Kro slightly tilts his head to the side, "really, now? Brown haired boy with a bowl cut, no real defining features- pretty bland. None of that resonate any memories?" Kokei doesn't verbally respond, instead, he shakes his head to refuse.
"Hm, well, I recently got in touch with the kid. He was Shihai's close friend. He was in the cafe's waiting line when Shihai told him that he was going to the bathroom. But, see, that's where things get interesting." Kro smirks once more, "Shihai never leaves this restroom. That, is where the boy truly disappeared. Not out in the back alley or whatever else the news fabricated for the people's peace of mind.
"I digress, so, this bathroom is the location where Shihai met his unfortunate fate that'd cause him to never be seen again. Upon hearing this information, I thought to myself: whoever else was in the bathroom is the person that did it." Kro takes a small pause after his words, observing Kokei's minuscule reaction. Once Kro saw that Kokei wasn't going to give him a telling response, he continued.
"I decided to visit this cafe for myself and found that the bathrooms were separated by male and female, no unisex option. This told me that the perpetrator is very likely a boy. I then entered the male bathroom and took notice to the dim light bulb, something they obviously had just installed, and that the bathroom can lock from the inside." As Kro spoke, he saw that his words were directly affecting Kokei's nerves. Kokei grew nervous and anxious, this fact was evident to Kro.
"You know what that means?" Kro waits, but there's no response from Kokei, nor did he expect one. "Means that Shihai was locked in that room with them, he couldn't run, couldn't hide, no one in or out."
"Okay.. so..?" Kokei questions in a very light and defensive tone. "What's any of that have to do with me?"
Kro sighs and looks down at the soft grass beneath his feet, he was preparing the right words to say. "It has everything to do with you, because.." Kro sighs once more, slowly raising his chin and locking eyes with Kokei. "Kokei, I reviewed the surveillance footage of that day.. I found a dark blue haired high school student enter the restrooms soon after Shihai."
Kokei huffs, he wanted to subtly hide his nervousness with a defensive attitude. "So? What're you trying to say?"
Kro stares into Kokei's eyes without a hint of doubt or falter as he speaks. "What I'm saying is, I don't think you're that 'lucky student' I initially believed you to be. I have reason to believe that you were a direct force in the causing of Shihai's disappearance."
Kokei trembles as he stood, he was beginning to have intense episodes of panic. There was a thousand more things traversing his mind, these thoughts being like: 'He knows, he knows, he knows.', 'How'd he find out!?', and, 'Has he been an undercover cop this whole time?'.
Kokei's breathing becomes quicker and shaky, his heartbeat being heard from Kro many feet away from him. Kokei grips at his chest with his right hand, tightly grabbing at his shirt. "The what the hell are you accusing me of?!"
Kro keeps his eye contact locked with Kokei's eyes, not glancing away even as he begins to speak. "I don't know if you kidnapped or killed him, but I know that you got rid of him. You were crushed when you were placed 41st in the rankings, just narrowly not making the requirement. So, to combat this, you got rid of a known accepted student as to open a spot into your dream school: U.A. High."
Kokei gasps for air, as though the air circulation to his lungs was cut off. "H-h-how'd you even get access to surveillance footage!?" Kokei shouts, attempting to accuse Kro of a crime to dismay the accusations held against himself. "There's no way you got permission for that! You illegally attained it."
Kro huffs, breaking eye contact and looking off to the slowly rising sun. "I never said I was some white kni-" Suddenly, while Kro spoke, Kokei begins charging forward towards Kro. Kokei makes a swift lunge towards the boy, almost instantaneously covering the distance between the two, and takes makes a wild right hook directed to Kro's face.
Yet, in the next millisecond, Kro was now a few more feet away from Kokei. Kokei now stood in the grassy spot behind the gym that Kro once stood. And Kro was now many feet away from that position, the two of them effectively switched places. "Hey, you sure you wanna be doing that?" Kro questions, using his pointer finger to direct Kokei's eyes to just above Kokei's current spot.
Just above Kokei's head, there was a subtle security camera that was easy to miss without intentionally seeking it out. Kokei groans in a mix of annoyance and frustration. 'Damn brat chose this spot on purpose because of that thing.' Kokei thought, gritting his teeth against each other angrily.
"So, let's just calm down and keep talking." Kro continues, "why was this school that important to you? Why was it such a necessity to attend that you deemed killing someone is okay for that outcome?!" Kro asked in a loud and accusing tone.
While Kro spoke, Kokei sprints out of range of the security camera. Once he was out of view, Kokei turned around to face the device and aim his palm up at it. "Destroy: Precision." Kokei whispered, sending a narrow stream of powerful air directly into the security camera. Causing it to crush and unhinge, tumbling down to the ground with a thud, soon after.
Kokei turns back around to Kro, murderous intent was emanating off of Kokei's body. "You don't understand why I did anything, so stop trying to act like you know everything about me!" Kokei charges at Kro again but, once again, Kokei has the same outcome of getting close just before Kro reappears someplace else.
"Correct, which is why I want to understand more about you, Kokei." Kro was yet again a few yards behind Kokei, speaking to his back. "Was it just Shihai? Was he the only person that you hurt?"
Kokei growls, turning around and aiming his palm at Kro once more. "Destroy!" The air rushes towards Kro at amazing speeds, but Kro was already moving to evade the attack. Kro shifted to the right, hopping to the side and narrowly avoiding Kokei's ferocious attempt.
"It wasn't just Shihai, then?" Kro questions after regaining his balance and standing up straight. "Are you.. a serial killer, Kokei?"
Kokei's lips slightly part as he contemplates Kro's inquiry. The expected answer, and the one that he gave, was no. But, the amount of time that it took Kokei to respond made Kro suspicious of this answers' validity. "You had to think about it." Kro points out, "you shouldn't need to debate yourself over something like that. Unless, of course, your reason for doubt is because Shihai wasn't your last victim."
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Kokei snaps back at Kro with animalistic ferocity. And, without another word, Kokei reattempts on the offensive. Kokei doesn't expel unnecessary energy when combating against Kro, since he knew that the majority- if not all- his attacks wouldn't land. And this strategy was also used since tiring out Kro was Kokei's overall idea on how to defeat the crow-like boy and his feathered friends.
This kept up for another few minutes, until Kro ended up disappearing during another 'destroy' from Kokei. Then, he reappeared in the midst of kicking Kokei in the chest, causing for Kokei to curl up from the sudden forceful air exhaustion in his lungs. While Kokei gripped at his abdomen, Kro kept his distance as he spoke to the boy. "If this is your defense against my claims, then you're not doing a very good at convincing me."
Kokei coughs up splotches of spit onto the grass while he recovered his breath. During Kokei's response, he coughed multiple times midway. "Not trying.. to convince you.."
Kro scoffs, "amazing." Kro states sarcastically, "it's as though you don't wanna defend your name." Kro then lets out a disappointed sigh as he gazes off towards the trees. "It's a shame, I know Sobokuna wouldn't want this type of life for her son."
Kokei abruptly raises his head and sloppily attempts at swinging his fist into Kro again. To which, Kro swiftly evades to the side, away from the punch. "No.." Kokei feebly responds as he lets out a final few coughs and stands up straight. "She supports me still."
Kro hums and narrows his gaze on Kokei, "Still..? Kokei.. when did she tell you this?"
Kokei smirks at Kro and proudly states, "just a few weeks ago. When we moved into the dorms, she told me she still loved me and accepted me for what I've done."
Kro stands silent for a few seconds, "oh my.. you hallucinated your mother's acceptance to give yourself reassurance. You're ill, Kokei, you're having hallucinations."
"Maybe, but one thing's for sure now." Kokei swiftly aims his left hand at Kro and launches a 'push: precision' at his head. Kro disappears and reappears a few meters to the right of his last location. However, after Kro repositions himself, Kokei had already aimed his right hand to where Kro now was. And then, with a sly smile on his face, Kokei launches his first attack. "Push:precision."
The speed of this attack trumps Kro's last ditch attempt at moving out of the way. Kro had already used his unknown ability to instantly disappear and reappear, so now, he had nothing to avoid this. The push shoves Kro's right shoulder and the force pushes him off balance, making him fall to the ground.
Kokei stomps towards Kro, getting within a few feet of the boy. Then, as Kro began to stand up, Kokei aims his same right hand to Kro's head. "It's been fun, bird boy." Kokei taunts, saying his last goodbyes to one of his most troubling rivals. So this, killing Kro, is a tremendous victory for Kokei. "Destroy."
It felt as if time went in slow motion, the time during Kokei's onslaught. The air propelling from his hand seemed to slow and Kro laying on the ground had no means of defending himself. It was over, he lost. And yet, as the air subsided, Kro was completely fine.
Kokei observed Kro and his defiance in complying to death. Kokei's air attack hit something and caused for a loud sound of impact. "What the..?" Kokei whispers, but, he wouldn't be confused for much longer. As the attack was spiraled away, the situation becomes clearer.
There was a foot extended into the air that had just gotten done kicking the attack away from the liable Kro behind him. The boy wore black sweatpants with a white stripe on the side. Along with a short sleeved white T-shirt with some words on it, he had on a black undershirt that went halfway down his arm.
As Kokei's eyes throughly adjusted to what was in front of him, shock couldn't accurately describe how he felt. In a mixture of complete confusion and animosity, Kokei loudly exclaims: "Izuku..?"
