Well it has been a while but here is the conclusion of the Maine Arc.

I have yet to watch Ghost Busters Afterlife as of yet due to the timing of this update. Also this is not intended to be Sam Bashing it just seems that way.

:Chapter Start:

Whipstaff Manor-an hour since the last chapter

Doctor Reid looked at the young Casper as he read his book and absentmindedly answering Reid's questions. So far what Reid has learnt was that Casper had been around for a long time, and only remembered key events over the last couple hundred years. Though it was mainly events in the twentieth century, like the landing on the moon and turn of the century. When asked about before he 'died' could only give patchy details about his formative years. He had been in his ghost form for too long. Reid eventually finished making a profile for the kid as he walked out the room leaving Casper to read his books and allowing Tabi and Dani to walk inside the room.

Reid walked a short distance away as he found Hotch and says, "Well, he appears to be sane but I think it is because of his Halfa nature."

"Is he a danger?" Hotch asks getting Reid to look at him simply.

Reid says, "Well as much as we know. The only person who could either tell us or stop said danger is already planning to keep an eye on the boy. Plus considering Danny is a whole lot better choice of role model then the worlds' most wanted. I think we will be fine."

Hotch shakes his head before stating, "Well good news is the Ghost Portal will not explode but someone will need to keep an eye on the site. We should discuss this with the Fentons and their friends." The two nod before heading off to do just that.

Eventually Reid and Hotch found Danny returning from the underground lab with Kylie on his lap. Kylie got up so that Danny could stand and speak with. Reid went with Kylie while Hotch and Danny stayed in the study to speak. Danny simply asks, "Verdict?"

"We will want Casper to stay with you but with weekly medical checks, though we should probably double that considering his abilities," Hotch states before including, "And I don't need to remind you of the dangers of knowing his secret. The fact is this entire location is now a huge security risk."

Danny takes a deep breath before stating, "Yeah I know, but I need to be in New York. The Containment Unit in the GhostBusters' Firehouse. A couple modifications instant super Halfa. That being said you guys' should hire Val to guard this portal and if we can convince the guy, ask Ray to handle the scientific research of the portal."

Hotch sighs and says, "You know after spending two years solving supernatural crimes, I can understand why you did not want the job. Do you know how many times we have arrested Property Developers using Ghosts to force people to sell stores, homes and farmland. So many ghost children."

"Well now we have another location to bring them to the Ghostzone," Danny said in good humour only for it to be fake. Danny then states, "Either way is Casper okay?"

Hotch simply states, "He has lost quite a bit of memory, only key events and memories where he has visual aids."

"More than likely caused by his father in the process. Before we leave I am going to dismantle the machine so no one else could possibly miss used or weaponised," Danny comments.

"Really?" Hotch questioned.

"Yeah, modify the injection port to inject ectoplasm and it would be much like what you would have to do in New York," Danny states causing Hotch's eyes to widen before Danny continued, "I will be telling Casper before heading back down and dismantling the machine."

"How long?" Hotch asks.

"Couple days as a human. An hour if I go Phantom." Danny states simply.

Hotch then says, "Then go Phantom because last thing we will need is people asking why so much equipment being transported," Danny nods in agreement.

Danny nods before walking away towards where Casper was reading with Dani and Tabbi before asking the two girls to let him speak with Casper alone. Once it was just the two of them Danny spoke, "Casper I am sorry, but the Lazarus Machine needs to be dismantled," Casper was silent as Danny explained, "I am truly sorry, but there is a very bad man out there, if given the chance would corrupt your father's work and all for a bid of power."

Casper was silent before he asks, "In what way?"

Danny frowns as he looks around Casper's room before finally saying, "You know Frankenstein wanted to create life only for that life to hunt him to the ends of the known world in revenge only for the creation to be civil with him?" Casper nods so Danny states, "This bad man would use your fathers work to make armies or even give himself the power to cause the end of the world or even multiple apocalypses for selfish reasons. All I intend to do is move major components and hide them where someone like us could find them, if given a hint."

Casper frowns before asking, "Like where?"

"The moon," Danny states, "for one of the pieces, got any suggestions for a couple others?" Casper frowns before thinks of a couple places.

A couple hours later-underground Lab.

Danny Phantom returned through the Ghost Portal in the underground Lab, having placed five components of the Lazarus Machine in the Ghost Zone, all protected by either natural defences or old allies. All he had left to do was take the last piece, the actual chamber to the moon with an important location in mind. Inside the Lab was Ray, Egon and his parents, with Ray getting detailed scans of Danny with a modified PKE Meter to ensure to get a clear picture of Phantom. Plus as he would be becoming the lead scientist of this new 'facility' he would be installing a secondary Containment Unit in the manor for future Dangerous Ghosts that with the Red Huntress, the FBI, the Phantoms or the GhostBusters need to contain at a separate site. And to top it off the FBI would be funding this location, along with having it as a FBI safe house in the Region.

All this was done rather quickly as the proof of Ownership was found and that Danny had final say on everything meant that they would be comfortably returning to New York a couple Days early and the Fenton's would be paid their fee to remove the dangerous ghosts of the Manor.

Phantom quickly Grabbed the last component and flew out the manor at an acute angle to fly over the ocean before heading up into space. It always took his breath away the site of Earth as he flew very quickly towards the moon. He would fly around for a short time before finding the location he would bury the final piece of the Lazarus Machine, where man first stood on the moon. He quickly phased the device a half mile under the surface before back. Giving a salute to the old flag left behind before flying back quickly they had to start packing if they wanted to get back to New York to give Roland and Eduardo help for any calls. Eitherway they would still be there for a couple more days.

Whipstaff Manor-Three Days and after making sure that everything was ready to leave be.

Danny placed the last box of Casper's stuff they are taking with them, considering there was only three boxes and that Danny's parents still had Danny's emergency change of clothes pod from when he was younger. What could they say, they had yet to make Fenton Ghost Hunter uniform for their sone until his lab accident. So Casper had some pre-owned modern-ish clothes to wear in public. Danny shakes his head as it was saddening at the lack of personal belongings, though considering one of the boxes was actually the chest they collected from the underground lab. Egon and Slimmer was saying his goodbyes to Ray while Garrett, Dani, Tabbi, Casper and Kylie were getting settled in the Van. Danny shut the back of the Van as Val walked down the steps.

Kylie watched the pair from behind the front seats as Val whispered something in his ear and kissed his cheek before walking back inside. Danny stood back silently before stepping over to the Van and waiting in the driver's seat where Kylie asks, "So what is the story between you and Val?"

Danny looks to Kylie then to Egon and Slimmer hugging Ray in a brotherly hug. Danny sighs and says, "We dated in high school but she broke up with me after she decided to continue hunting Ghosts we continued to be friends until my Ex, basically I discovered a medical issue that came up. Basically she did something that was impossible for me to give her and she tried to use the kid to basically become a terrorist."

Kylie and Gerrett blinks before asking, "Kid!?"

Danny frowns before answering, "Yeah, she basically found a guy that looks like me and once she," he couldn't finished what he was saying before admitting, "She has been given life without parole for multiple counts of Murder and she was deem of not sound mind due to her attempt at Genocide of our home town. I am not really looking for a relationship and Val is interested in some fun, but really wants to find a guy that can give her a proper family in the future."

Kylie frowns before stating, "What do you really want?"

Danny simply says, "I don't know, until I do I will just continue to live my life until I find that choice."

Garrett frowns before stating, "Well that blows? Though we hunt Ghosts should we be concerned?"

"Not really unless you have been heavily injured by an electrical discharge with enough energy to crack reality. Either way you guys should be fine," Danny states before Egon returns with Slimmer and they wave goodbye to Ray as they start their journey back to New York.

Kylie suddenly asks, "Hey, what about your folks, are you not going to say goodbye?"

"Did already they are currently busy in the underground Lab, they tend to not make too much time with their kids when a scientific research into Ghosts we would be waiting for days," Danny answered getting a nod from Dani before he states, "Plus at this stage the Manor would become a crater in the cliff if we had distracted them at this time. Oh and next drive through we pass I am stopping to get something to eat for everyone," that got some cheers from everyone except Casper.

"What is Drive through?" Casper's honest question was met with laughter from everyone while Garrett explained the concept of a Drive Through which surprised Casper and he would become a fan of Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets.

:End of Chapter 6:

I do not intend to do too much bashing of Sam as technically she is not part of this story. Basically in this story Sam went full Eco Terrorist after Phantom Planet while trying to manipulate Danny into using his Ghost Powers on locations that he actually convinced to go green a bit slower then Sam wanted.
