It was a warm April morning in Huck, the birds were chirping, the children were playing, and the crops were growing. Huck was a village situated relatively close to the Diamond Kingdom. As a result, it was a well known stopping point for tourists, traveling nobles and, of course, magic knights.

Because of its proximity to the country however, it is also partly a military base for the Clover Kingdom. Because of this, the village was swarming with magic knights. This further complicated things for the Sniper. Her job was to get in and kill the knight's spacial mage, thereby getting rid of the knight's communication to the capital. Most mages use their spacial mage to go back to their home bases, so there wouldn't be any unwanted backup.

The spacial mage always wakes up early. More specifically, at 8:24 on the dot. From there, she gets dressed and goes to get coffee. She always comes to the kitchen for her morning coffee at 8:37.

The plan was simple. The Sniper kills the lookouts and spacial mage. Then, The Butcher, who is already in the village, sneaks into the base and kills the rest of them. By the time he gets out, no one will be up that early. Simple.

She saw the window. The figure was pouring the fudge brown cocktail of dirt and boiled water. The Sniper looked to her watch, 8:37. She figured that was the mage. Time to start.

The Sniper drew her wand and aimed it at the spatial mage. Then, she concentrates. She channels her magic into her wand and fires.

"Water magic: Sea Dragon's Howl"

A thin line of water shoots right out of the tip of the wand. It was fast, so fast infact that you'd be forgiven for thinking that the spell automatically killed you. What it really was was magic so concentrated that it was the size of a water drop. Since it was so concentrated, it was super powerful and fast. The whole catch of the spell however was that it took you about a minute to charge. Thankfully, The Sniper could just hold onto it for good. Although, she did need to concentrate a little bit more to use it after holding it for a while. She only needed to concentrate for a second since she charged it 10 minutes ago.

Then, The Butcher walked into the base.

Inside the base, barely anyone was there. Figures The Butcher thought, Clover has their head so far up their own ass that they won't even defend themselves.

As The Butcher went through the halls, he killed anyone who stood in their way. The knights could barely be called pushovers, as their once cocky attitudes soon turned to a mix of confusion and horror, as they stood helplessly as The Butcher came closer and closer to the knights and easily killed them with a single slash from his blade. He didn't even bother to check, they were already dead.

After going through the entire base, The Butcher left the base and went to the main hall, only to be stopped by a loud noise coming from outside. It had a gleam ring to it, kinda like a shining crystal. Magic.

Wow bakasta, somehow, with a perfect plan, Liebe scoffed at that, you were able to mess it up.

Hey! It's not my fault that these scum deserve to be killed. Honestly Noelle, you should be in here with me.

YOU TOLD ME TO- Asta could hear Noelle growl, You told me "Stay back Noelle, I want these guys for me, look out for all the guards." That is what you told me!

Okay, you made your point, I'll actually listen to you. But first, I'm going to take care of the reinforcements.

Sheep. Noelle corrected.

Fair enough, but come on! Just because their magic is weaker than Heart kingdom vodka doesn't mean you have to say it!

Asta, Noelle, please stop fighting. You can fight to your heart's content after Asta kills all the guards.

"Fine," Asta says out loud. He then leaves through the front door, right into the magic knights.

"ATTENTION! THIS IS VICE CAPTAIN RANDALL OF THE CRIMSON LION KINGS! YOU ARE SURROUNDED! WE HAVE MULTIPLE KNIGHTS AROUND THE CITY! DO NOT RUN!" The Crimson Lion said. Just this kid killed all of them? Maybe I'll ask Captain Fuegoleon if he can join us after we arrest him.

"Ready Liebe?" Asta whispered

With pleasure

And like that, Asta was covered in black with dark red shadings, and as soon he was covered he revealed himself in all his glory. Asta was covered in black and he had two dragon-like wings. However, before Randall could even activate his wind magic, he lost his head in the blink of an eye.

Gotta do this fast. Unite only lasts about 30 seconds. As Asta thought this, he had already cleaved through two steel mages simultaneously.

"Everyone! Use ranged magic!" The rest of them had already realized that fighting him close range was virtually suicide, so they figured they could beat him with ranged attacks. After all, he is only one 15 year old kid, even if he easily killed a vice captain.

Oh how wrong they are.

As all the knights use different kinds of magic, it did absolutely nothing to Asta as he moves forward to decapitate more knights. After 10 seconds, only one man was left. He was crawling on the ground, begging for mercy.

"Mercy?" Asta asks with venom. Right at that moment, Unite reaches its time limit, and the knight could swear he saw another man behind Asta. "Why should I give you mercy when I killed everyone else here. What makes you any different? Is it because you have some special fucking magic? Tell you what? I won't kill you right now."

"Y-y-you won't?"

"Five minutes. Run as far as you can in five minutes, and if I don't find you, then spread the word. The Butcher is here, and he'll be around for a loooong time."

The knight can't believe it. He actually has a chance to get away! So he runs. Little did that freaky twerp know, he can use spacial magic! If I could just use a portal to the capital, his thoughts were cut off when he tripped. He tried to get up but he couldn't feel anything anymore. Then he looks down, and he sees another figure, a girl. Also, why can't he move? And why does he feel like he lost 100 pounds?

The last thing the nameless knight sees is his body leaking a puddle of blood from his neck.

You mean "You shall". Noelle thought

I know what I said.

And I know that you should apologize before you regret it. You have five seconds. At that moment, Liebe suddenly heard water behind him. When he turned around, he was met with a large current of water inches away from his face. He tried to apologize. Too late.

I am curious Liebe, what is the cooldown timer for your unite mode? Last I checked, it's still an hour. It's only been ten minutes though, and your five seconds are also up by the way.

Why does that taste like piss?

Wait, have you drank piss? Asta asks

The sun was beginning to set, and Noelle couldn't be happier. With Asta and Liebe's constant bickering, Noelle could barely get a moment to herself. They got to the next town over, they went to a hotel and checked themselves in. Finally, Noelle went to sleep.

A failure like you? How could you ever be a magic knight let alone make mother proud?

No no no no no no no no no not tonight!

Hah hah hah! No wonder mother died. She couldn't even handle giving birth to rot like you!

Please, stop!

Now now sister, you know mother was dying before she gave birth! Infact, I believe that Noelle was the initial cause for her death. Something about a curse? Let me ask Nozel.

"STOOOP"

Noelle looked around. It was dark, but she could see two silhouettes of teenage boys that were snoring. It was just a dream. She thought, I need a walk.

Elsewhere, near the village, there was rumbling near a mountain range. After 15 minutes, the rumbling stopped, and near the mountains, appeared a dungeon.

Dun Dun Dunnnnnnn! Dungeon arc time! And that means Asta and Yuno power ups! As if Asta wasn't op already, but yeah, I'd say Yuno is going to need Bell because he hasn't gotten any kind of power ups yet. Not to say that he is weak, He's certainly around intermediate magic knight level in terms of power, but considering that Noelle can now control her magic into a bow (and she'll also be getting a new power up in the dungeon, what is though you'll find out in two chapters or so.) and that Asta can now use unite mode, yeah Yuno really needs Bell.

Now, for the elephant in the room, I'm back! I know I said that I would be back in a week, and that was about two months ago by the time I'm writing this, but it's more that I felt like this fic was going in the wrong direction. I'm not talking about the previous chapters, I'm talking about the future chapters. I started to pivot from my original plan. Sometimes that's a good thing. Other times, like this time, that's a bad thing. I actually thought about Asta forgiving Revchi! Yeah, let's just have Asta forgive the man who killed his mother figure! That's the last time I try tequila.

Anyways, the point is that I'm back. And, I have read a couple other fics by others who actually gave me the idea for this fic in the first place. I recommend that you read them if you like their respective anime, since they aren't all Black Clover. Also, not all are gonna be on fanfiction, some will be on Ao3. Sorry for the hassle

The Red Right Hand by Kernal7218. It's what inspired this fic in the first place. It's a mha fic on Ao3, but trust me it's so good! It's inconsistent with updates though, so you're gonna have to wait a bit.

Ignite to the Call by Cannibalistic Apple. Another mha fic, but this time it's on both Ao3 and FF. It's a story about dimension travel though, and I know that's not for everyone.

Next, we have An Elf Called Fatry by Luna Jo. This actually got me back into Black Clover fanfiction, so thanks! It's about if Finral was possessed by an elf named, well, Fatry! The characters are good and not too OOC, and it's got a decent amount of chapters too. Also, Fatry and Finral are such a good duo!

Next we have an (I think) Ao3 exclusive; Take the World by Storm by geokat. This is a One Piece time travel fic, and from that alone I can tell that some of you won't even give it a chance but please do. Geokat actually did things differently, and so far it's looking really good! It's on hiatus right now, but I'm sure that it will return in the summer.

Finally, last but certainly not least there is Anti-Magic and Water Magic by HeavenStar18. If you ship Asta and Noelle, you will love this fic. The author also has something that I don't see a lot of in fanfiction, determination. This man wrote chapters weekly for 94 weeks straight. That is serious commitment that I will happily applaud them for.
