Dante let out a whistle, looking around the Satellite looking space station. He'd have to admit, He's been in a lot of places but never in Space before. He was in awe of seeing the planet from a bird's eye view. The view was breathtaking. "Nice Digs. Sure beats my office back in Redgrave."

The veteran Devil Hunter spotted the Dark Knight who was eyeing him with caution. "So, you're the Batman? Thought you'd be taller."

Flash choked a laugh finding the comment funny which earned a slap to the arm from Hawkgirl. Batman turned his glare towards The Central City Native.

Diana with a genuine smile stepped forward with a hand outstretched. When she was informed by Flash that she was about to meet one of Sparda's sons, she barley contained her excitement. She would be one step closer to meet The Legendary Dark Knight once again but that possibility was squashed when the Flash told him he wasn't around any more. But at least she'd get to meet Sparda's offspring which is close. "It is an honor to meet a descendant of Sparda. Diana of Themysicra."

"An Amazon? You're far away from home, princess." Dante said, accepting the handshake.

"So I have been told." Diana replied. Diana smiled. "Though I'd admit, Man's World wasn't what I'd expected for sure. But I've come to appreciate it."

"That's good to know." Dante said unsure of whether taking it as a compliment or an insult given the Amazon's sexist views regarding the opposite sex . He'd take the former.

"So, uh, Dante. Is she here by any chance? I mean she's gotta be, right?" Flash asked the founder of the Devil May Cry P.I trying to not sound too excited.

Just as Dante was about to tease, a playful voice spoke up.

"Well, well. If it isn't the Fastest man alive."

If he was an animated character, his eyes would turn into red hearts as the Flash turned to see her. A sensuous blonde woman wearing a leather outfit and black corset that hugged all the right forms. She was still as beautiful as ever when they first met.

"Hi Trish." He squeaked. He cleared his throat trying not to sound awestruck. "Hi."

Green Lantern was almost floored by the blonde demon hunter's rather audacious outfit. "Judas Priest." He muttered under his breath. Hawkgirl who was standing next to him couldn't help but feel a bit jealous as she gripped her mace a bit hard.

"You didn't need to call Dante to see me, Flash." Trish said as she sauntered over to the brash but nobel superhero, swaying her hips slightly. "After that night we spent in Milano, you could have just called."

Green Lantern raised his eyebrows in surprise along with Hawkgirl quirking one. Now that was a surprise. A girl who had been with the Flash and not being put off by his behavior? That's a first.

Flash let out a nervous laugh while scratching the back of his head. "Well, being a superhero is a very demanding job."

Trish smirked while tracing her finger over the emblem on his chest. "So I heard." She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, leaving him dazed. "It's nice to see you again though." She turned around and headed to discuss the case at hand.

Green Lantern walked over to check on the speedster who had a goofy look on his face. "Milano?"

Flash let out a dreamily sigh. "Sorry, G.L. A gentleman never kiss and tell." Flash went to catch up with her leaving the Green Lantern with more questions than answers.

Green Lantern was bemused to say the least. "I've seen it and I still don't believe it."

"What, that Flash has a girl that tolerates his personality?" Hawkgirl assumed.

"The fact that he has one at all." Green Lantern replied. "Have you seen how that boy eats? Or how he constantly flirts on the job?"

Unfortunately she had on many occasions. "Point taken. Maybe there's more to him than it meets the eye."

Green Lantern let out an unbelieving snort. Yeah, right.

"So, How do you and Flash know each other?" Diana asked Dante.

Dante chuckled. It was a funny story actually. "Well, a few years back, I was chasing some low level demon in Central City who put on a disguise as an old lady. Speedy Gonzalez over here..." He gestured to the speedster who smiled sheepishly. "Thought i was a serial killer ready to claim my next victim so he rushed in to help her. Only then he'd realized that he was played for a sucker when that elderly demon almost turned him into super hero chowder. "

"Why am I not surprised?" Hawkgirl mused, shaking her head in amusement. Flash always has tendencies of rushing in blind.

"I didn't know what it was." Flash defended himself. "It looked pretty human to me. What was I supposed to do?"

Batman wanted to focus on the matters at hand. "The Flash mentioned that you have some invaluable intel in regards to this case. What's the importance of Fortuna?" Batman asked the two demon hunters.

"Some time ago, We stopped a cult called the Order from taking over the world." Trish explained in lament terms of the events that took place on the remote island. "They were a group of religious fanatics that operated like a militia and worshiped Dante's father as a god."

"Really? They worshipped a demon as a God?" Hawkgirl repeated incredulously.

"Worshiping his power was more like it." Trish clarified.

Green Lantern scoffed. That's always the case with the religious cults. He's had his fair share of it from his time as a Marine and Green Lantern. "Shocker." The Caped Crusade echoed that sentiment, having also experienced it first hand in Gotham.

"We also uncovered that they were siphoning the powers of Devil Arms that are extremely powerful demonic weapons to create an army of demons as well as granting some of their most trusted members with demonic power so that they can transcend to godhood." Dante informed sitting on a chair in a rather lazy position. "But hey, what do I know? Religion and I don't mix well. " Diana smiled at the quip. She noted that Dante inherited his father's sense of humor but not his manners. "But of course it didn't go too well."

"Obviously." Flash said. offering a slice of left over pizza to Dante that he got from the fridge of the dining room. Dante happily took a bite from it. "Is it possible that some of the Order's members is putting what do you call it? Devil Arms on the black market, selling it to the highest bidder?"

It's a possibility both Dante and Trish considered. After the death of their leader Sanctus, the Order were pretty much disbanded. Some of the members became mercenaries while others fled to the Underworld. "Could be. If that's the case, there's only one place to start."

Wally (Wally West: The Frat Geek) was enjoying the summer break from college in Milano as he and his childhood friend Matt Hall (Matt Hall: The Charming Geek) was walking into a party they did not belong to which was the after party of a fashion show in home made suits. "Come on, Matt! Lighten up, this would help you come over your breakup with Kendra!"

"I still can't believe she left me for that douchebag!" Matt exclaimed in pain, like any heartbroken boy would be. "I still think we should've talked to each other and worked things out."

Wally sighed, placing his hand on his roommate's shoulder trying to be considerate with his words something he didn't do often. "I hate it to say the obvious buddy but everyone kinda saw that Kendra was going to get back together in with Carter!"

"Then why didn't you say anything?!" He demanded in a hiss.

"Because we knew you would easily get stressed over it." Wally argued before laying his eyes on an attractive blonde in leather corset and leather pants by the bar while a guy was harassing her. It was clear that she wasn't interested in him, so it was time to sweep the damsel off her feet. "Besides. Do me and the rest of the world a favor: call Lisa. We all know that you are head over heels for her. So suck it up and call her for a date."

Matt spluttered for a few moments as his cheeks turned scarlet red while Wally left to come to the aid of the leather blonde. "For the last time, we're just friends!"

Wally knew that he was lying. He smirked as he walked up to the bar and tapped the guy on his shoulder. "I think the lady wants you to leave."

The Guy glanced over his shoulder, not pleased of the interference. "Says who?" He spat in his heavily Italian accent.

"Me."

The guy turned around, facing him. Wally's bravado did not falter despite being a few inches shorter than the harasser. "What If I don't want to, stupid?" He leered in Italian.

Wally sighed. Even though he didn't understand what was just said, he had a feeling that it wasn't pleasant. "Look, I don't want to start anything. Just turn around and walk away."

Seeing it as an invite, the guy threw his big fist towards him but Trish (Trish: The Femme Devil) who was in town for a job had been watching the whole thing and decided to intervene by catching the fist with the palm of her hand. She couldn't help but find her would be savior adorably cute. From his red hair to dove blue eyes. She could use a bit of fun.

She turned the tables on her stalker by judo throwing him across the floor and into a table, foods splattered all over his face to his embarrassment. The onlookers laughed completing his humiliation.

Wally had a gob smacked look on his face as the stalker left with a case of the limber tail. He'd never been so attracted to anyone as he was right now. "Wow. How'd ya do that?"

"I work out." Trish said vaguely. "I appreciate the effort, though."

The Central U student put on his most charming look. "It's the least I can do. Especially with a hottie like you."

"Bet you say that to all the girls, lover boy." Trish quipped, seeing where this was going although he's a lot nicer than the last one.

He flustered a bit. "Only the hot ones."

Trish chuckled. He's so cute when he blushes. He wasn't subtle with his approach but he does have his charm with the way he stood up to her stalker earlier. "Bartender. Whiskey for the two of us." She ordered in Italian.

"The House of Fallen Angels?" Hawkgirl snorted as she and the heroes found themselves in the Garden State standing in front of a venue building outside of Hoboken. Trish told them of a club that's neutral ground for demons and humans alike to the surprise of Justice League. It also hosts an underground black market Auction where some of the most invaluable devil arms were being sold to drug lords, mob bosses for a hefty price. "That's original."

"Well, You'd certainly know about that, Feather Face, considering you look like one." Dante quipped which earned him a hit to the back of his head by her mace. "Ow! You almost took my head off!"

Trish rolled her eyes glancing at the Thangarian who gripped her mace. She's tired of hearing the bird jokes. "Is he always like this?" Hawkgirl inquired Dante's partner.

"Most of the time." Trish said.

"What can we expect in there?" Diana questioned.

"Oh you know black jack, poker, bootleg. The usual gig. The owner is a real sleaze ball." Dante told the superheroes. "Oh, and by the way, there are some demons that are anxious to meet you, Bats. A human masquerading as a demon? Not to mention being called the Dark Knight after my old man? It's some serious street cred."

"It's true." Trish agreed. "Whenever Demons tell each other bedtime stories about boogeyman, it's usually about Batman."

"Glad to know that my reputation precedes me in the supernatural community." Batman deadpanned. The Justice League and Paranormal investigators walked up to main entrance cutting through the line to the annoyance of other party goers. The bouncer held up a hand to stop them.

"Hold it right there. Can't let you enter without knowing the pass phrase. What is it?" He asked.

"Divine Comedy." Trish told him. Having gotten what he wanted, he let them through to the hallway. The heroes noted surgical tools on the tables at the sides as they passed by.

"Hey, Bats. I've been wanting to ask you something. When you fly, How does Gotham look from above?" Dante asked the Knight of Gotham.

"It looks dirty." Batman answered truthfully as they entered the club scene.

Moaning in slight discomfort, Hipployta came to her senses a few hours later to find herself inside a cell. She looked around to see that she had her wrists shackled to the wall. She tried to break free using her amazonian strength but she received a shock to her system for her efforts.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you, Hipployta. The shackles had been designed by Mesperyian herself to torture the souls that had been condemned in the Pit of Tarturus."

The Amazonian Queen's eyes widened in horror as she recognized that voice. It can't be... "You! But...This is impossible!"

The House of Fallen Angels

"You gotta be kidding me." John Stewart muttered as the goth music was heard over the speakers. He had seen a lot of things in his short life but Demons living among humans? That's a first. His days in Sunday school as a child ain't got nothing on this. Scrunching his face as he spotted a demon that looked like a cheap vampire knock off feeding on a human while passing through the dancers that acted like hormonal high school students times 6, he remained focused on the job. After all, he was a professional.

"What's the matter, G.L? Not your type of club to go to?" Hawkgirl teased on how uncomfortable he was slightly in this club. She recalled that his mother was a devout Christian and would tell John stories about how the demons are the harlots of evil.

"Not exactly." Green Lantern replied truthfully. Then he spotted The Batman trying to ignore his demon fan club that tried to get his autograph. Wonder Woman had a look of disgust as the demons tried to hit on her only to be forcefully rejected. "At least I'm not the only one."

Hawkgirl held back a laugh seeing the Amazonian Princess using her brute strength to emphasize her point. "Got that right." Then she spotted Flash busy chatting with Trish at the Bar.

Meanwhile, Dante nudged the Dark Knight while leading him away from the unofficial Batman fan club and pointed his finger to the Vip Section.

"So in short, Dante's brother cut his son's arm off to retrieve his sword and the split himself in two for a few months to heal from the endless torture from Mundus in Hell and then the two became one again just so to prove that he was better than him only for his son to regrow his arm back and settled the family rivalry by beating his father?" Flash surmised what Trish had explained about the events in Red Grave City at the bar.

"More or less."

Flash was a bit unsure what to make of it. "Wow. And I thought my life was crazy."

Trish hummed in agreement as she took a shot of vodka. "How's it working with the other superheroes?"

Flash thought briefly about his time so far in the Justice League. "Well,I guess you could say that we'd become more or less a family of misfits ya know. They all love me. I'm like the annoying but adorable brother they'd never had."

Trish shook her head in amusement imagining how irritating they must be with his behavior. "Oh I'm sure. You must be real popular with the ladies or have you forgotten about little ol' me?"

Trish laughed at Flash's blushed cheeks as he tried to splutter some excuse that he hadn't. "I'm just kidding, Flash." Trish sighed, patting his arm with her hand. "Ya know, This brings me a bit of deja vu. Milano."

Flash smiled remembering how they met all those years ago. He was in Sophomore year of College when he met her. "Which part? The incredible night of hot passionate loving with yours truly or where you saved me from getting my butt kicked by your stalker."

"The morning after where you screamed like a little girl when you first saw a demon up close and personal." Trish smirked smugly as Flash smiled embarrassingly at the recollection. He'd hoped that she wouldn't bring that up.

Wally moaned as he woke up with one heck of a hangover inside his hotel room. Sun rays was peeking through the curtain. He'd lost count of how many drinks of whiskey he took. But it was worth it. He got some action with a hottie like Trish. He can't wait bragging to Matt about this.

Opening his eyes with a smile to see Trish still sleeping at her bedside, he turned his head to see a dark armored creature made from the depths of nightmares with sharp nails that would cut through wood, sneering like a predator waiting to pounce. It was a Sugran (Sugran: Nails of Lethal Touch).

Smile fading almost immediately, he let out a girlish scream as he avoided a swipe of the nails, jumping out of the bed and used a chair to hold that thing at bay. But the Sugran cut through the chair like plastic which didn't bode well for the young man. Unsure of what to do next, Wally acted on pure instinct as he grabbed a leg and thrusted into his right eye earning an ear busting screech from that monster. The Sugran was trying to pry the leg off its eye as Wally pinched himself frantically to wake himself up from his supposedly nightmare.

Snikt!

The Sugran stood still in shock before exploding into dust. A naked Trish that used the bed sheets to cover her nude body was standing behind the remains of the Sugran with a huge sword in her hand. She smiled at the shocked look she got from Wally. "Well, that was one unexpected wake up call."

House of Fallen Angels

Is that Batman?"

"Oh my god, he's even more attractive from up close."

"He can be my Dark Knight anytime."

Never in a million years would he be side by side with the costumed heroes in a demon bar no less but after being acquainted with an amazon who knew his old man when she was a child, an alien who has wings surgically implanted into her back and a former Marine whose power is a decoder ring that lives on willpower and a brooding bat, He'd the first to admit it's a rather interesting group of heroes. After sharing info about the importance of Fortuna, the next thing to do was heading to the House of Fallen Angels. It's like a safe haven for demons where they don't have to pretend to wear human disguises. It's amusing to see demon chicks fawning over the Knight of Gotham.

"Not your typical place to hang at, eh, Bats?" Dante teased the ever stoic Caped Crusader on being out of his element.

Batman simply glanced at the Legendary Devil Hunter with a blank look. "I've been in worse places than this." Batman told him bluntly.

"Really?"

"Yes." Batman looked around. Dante thought to himself that Batman is a lot more uptight than his brother Vergil and that is saying something. They would get along just fine. "Now where can we find De La Santos?"

Dante spotted the club owner hanging with some lady friends at the VIP Lounge and nudged Batman to see him. "Over there."

The owner Eli De La Santos (Eli De La Santos: Crooked Club Owner) who was a poor excuse of a man with a criminal record as long as his leg was at the Vip Lounge smooth talking to female companions when Batman and Dante walked up to him. The color drained from his face as he recognized the unlikely team up.

"Oh no."

XXXX

He was sent through the back door of the club by Dante after being hauled out of there. Scrambling back to feet, He was backed into a corner as Batman stared at the club owner.

"I ain't done nothing illegal this time, ese." Eli hissed trying to act tough in front of the two.

Dante snorted. "Really? That's not what we heard on the grapevine, amigo." he replied.

Eli muttered a few expletive words underneath his breath. "What do you want?"

"Information. About Devil Arms shipped out of Fortuna and sold to the highest bidder on the black market." Batman told him, standing next to the Devil Hunter.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about." Eli stuttered slightly, lying through his teeth.

Not pleased with the answer, The Dark Knight sneered into the Mexican migrant's face. "Don't lie to me, De La Santos."

"I would tell him if I were you, buddy. He's the guy that doesn't like being lied to." Dante suggested.

Eli would be lying if he didn't find the Caped Crusader intimidating. It was something about his glare that would make a grown man quiver in his boots. "Ok, ok, ok. I might have info about some demonic artifacts from Fortuna. But that's it. " Eli admitted.

"It'll have to do. Now talk." Batman demanded. Eli gulped in terror as he began to spill the beans.

Big Bellys

After getting the info they needed, they went to discuss what they'd learned inside a fast food restaurant called Big Bellys while the customers were staring at the costume heroes in awe.

Batman presented three pictures of the Devil Arms that were sold recently on the table. "The three Devil Arms that were shipped out of Fortuna and brought here, had been sold last week for 20 million dollars. Each. And It was paid in gold coins." Batman told them.

Flash whistled at the payment as he chewed on his third hamburger. "60 Million bucks? That's a lot of dough."

"Like we said, the Devil Arms is a hot commodity in the black market these days." Dante commented, taking a bite from his pizza slice.

"Did you get the name of the buyer?" Green Lantern questioned sipping on his black coffee.

Batman placed a document of someone's name on it. "Only an alias." Batman replied having done a check up on the name on the way. "Are Sia. De La Santos didn't give much of a description of what Drakos looked like but he did tell us that she was a female and she wore wrist bracelets similar to Wonder Woman's."

Diana was slightly stunned by the probability that Are may be another Amazon gone rogue. "Impossible."

"You of all people should know that nothing is impossible in this line of work." Batman challenged her and Diana glared at the Dark Knight who remained unfazed by it before letting out a sigh, seeing his point begrudgingly.

"Even so, why would this Are be on the main land away from Themysirca? What would she have to gain?"

"That's where we're going to find out." Batman replied. "Hawkgirl, you up for another trip to the Island?"

"Sure." Hawkgirl said. She could use a little bit of exercise. "Let's hope your sisters are more welcoming than last time, Diana."

Central City

Flash was brainstorming in his head as he was going through what he'd learned back in his home town to figure out who was responsible. Yes, he does have a brain despite what his fellow heroes might believe. Ok, three victims, all male killed by demons. Each of them expert in different areas of mythology. And then there's the fact with the devil arms were brought with gold coins. Not too many civilizations used coins anymore. It's with either cash or credit cards. And there was the case with the alias. Are Sia. It sounded so familiar.

"Are Sia. Where have I heard that before?" Flash wondered out loud for a moment or two before he put two and two together. Are Sia sounded a lot like... "Aresia!"

But it was impossible. She'd died some time ago in the ocean. But the voice of Bats came into his head with a saying from earlier. "You of all people should know that nothing is impossible in this line of work." Plus her body was never found in the bottom of the ocean so it was believed that she'd perished.

Before he could alert the Watchtower of what he'd just deduced, Flash was then struck in the back of the head with a hard blow. He fell to the floor out cold as his attacker loomed over him.

"Wake up."

Shackled and restrained, Flash woke up to an feminine authoritative voice with an aching head as he looked up to see a familiar amazonian blonde hiding in the shadows inside a prison cell. He recognized that voice.

"Well, if it isn't everyone's favorite Amazonian Man hater. Should've known you were still hanging around." Flash muttered.

The adoptive Amazon raised an eyebrow in question (Aresia: The Misandrist Amazon). "Really? What gave you away of my existence?"

"Well, aside from the fact the three victims were males and your alias is your first name separate, not to mention you paid for Devil Arms from the Black Market in gold coins and your body was never recovered from the sea. It wasn't hard to figure out."

Aresia was almost impressed by his deduction. Almost. "Well, you're not as dumb as I thought you to be."

"Hey!" Flash exclaimed, offended. He may be a lot of things but stupid is not one of them. He glanced at Hipployta who was in the same predicament he was in just a few feet from him. "You ok, your highness?"

"Yes. All things considered." Hipployta answered, having met the Scarlet Speedster before turning her attention to the disgraced Amazon. She was in disbelief that the adoptive Amazonian criminal was still alive. "How did you survive, Aresia?"

"By the skin of my teeth, no thanks to your daughter by the way." Aresia revealed referring to her near death a few months back when her plans of male genocide were thwarted. "I was able to escape the plane before the explosion with a parachute underneath the pilot's seat but I did not go unscathed."

She stepped forward to reveal hints of degree burns that riddled half of her torso along with a notable burn mark on her right cheek to the disgust of her captives.

"Ever consider wearing a mask, Scarface?" Flash jibbed. "I hear that's a good fashion trend this year."

She punched him in the stomach for the disrespectful remark about her appearance, knocking the breath out of him.

"Leave him alone, Aresia!" Hipployta demanded. "Direct your anger towards me instead. I was the one that lied to you about your rescue all those years ago."

"Oh I will. In due time." Aresia said. "But he has a part to play to my displeasure."

"What's that supposed to mean, lady?" Flash inquired, puzzled by what she meant.

Aresia smiled as she walked up to the Speedster who leaned back in disgust. "You are the key to my impending victory, The Flash."
