A/N: Please read and review, as I've worked hard on it? I do thank the few who already have through, since I'm not getting many.

At Midtown High, Peter and Gwen were both studying in the library together, as they sat at the same table. It had been under a week since Hobgoblin's attack at the Halloween Carnival, which still had shocked people all over the city. Nearby, other students were also studying, including Gloria and Hobie, when Anya came over to them, along with an African girl.

"Hey, guys." Anya said.

"Hi." Peter said.

"Hey, Anya." Gwen smiled. "Who's this?"

"Oh, this is Janice Lincoln." Anya said. "Same year as me."

"We've been paired together in science." Janice explained. "So, we thought we'd study together here to get to know each other better."

"Well, that's great." Gwen smiled. "I see you're fitting in here well, Anya."

"Thanks, Gwen." Anya said. "It's partly because of you two, Harry and M.J. I guess."

"Well, it's no problem." Peter assured.

Randy then stormed into the library, then began looking around frantically, as everyone turned to him.

"Can I help you?" the Liberian asked, who was a woman with red hair.

"I'm looking for Peter Parker." Randy explained.

"He's over there." the Liberian explained, pointing over at Peter's group. "But could you please walk, Mr. Robinson?"

"Thanks, and sorry, sir." Randy said.

He turned and walked towards the group, who turned to him, as the Liberian kept an eye on them.

"What do you want?" Janice asked, annoyed.

"I'm looking for Peter Parker." Miles explained. "I think he needs to see this."

He took out his phone, then handed it to Peter, showing an urgent news bulletin.

"What is it, Randy?" Peter asked.

"See for yourself." Randy said.

"Breaking News from Queens! A creature described by eyewitnesses report that something like looks like a Rhinoceros but bigger, is rampaging through the streets of the city." the newsman explained. "We can not yet confirm reports if this creature is..."

Peter put the phone on mute and handed it back to Miles.

"Thanks, Randy." Peter said.

Randy turned to Anya and Janice, the latter of which frowned slightly.

"Sorry, girls, if I interrupted something." he said.

He turned and walked off, leaving the others alone.

"So...what lessons do you two have together?" Gwen asked, changing the subject.

"We have History, Math and Science together." Anya explained.

"Well, that's good news then." Gwen joked. "Some is better than none at all."

"Yeah." Janice agreed.

The bell then rang, telling them break was over, making everyone get up.

"Guess we'll have to study later then." Anya shrugged.

"I guess." Janice said. "Again, nice meeting you both."

Everyone then began to leave the library, Peter and Gwen bringing up the rear.

"We'd better go." Peter whispered. "Who knows how much damage that Rhino's done. I doubt the Police can handle it."

Unknown to them, the Liberian was listening to them carefully.

"I know, but...I'd hate to skip class for no reason." Gwen admitted. "We've never had to do this before on a school day."

"I know. But right now, we have no choice." Peter said.

As soon as the library was empty, the Librarian pressed a button on a wrist device, that was shaped like a watch, then an image of Col. Fury showed up on it.

"How they doing, Agent?" he asked.

"They're doing fine, Col." the woman replied. "But right now, they're going after that Rhino that's trashing the city."

"I had a feeling they might." the Col. said. "Make sure their absence is explained to Principal Davis and their families."

"Yes, sir." the Librarian said.

She lowered her wrist device as the Col.'s image vanished.

A little later, both Spiders swung through the Queens area as quickly as they could.

"Do you think this is just a Rhino that escaped from the Zoo?" Ghost Spider asked.

"I hope so." Spider-Man said. "But if not, we better be prepared."

Both Spiders kept swinging forward, then landed on a roof, and saw a lot of damage had been done to the city by the so-called Rhino.

"Oh, this hurts already." Spider-Man gulped, as they took their school bags off.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Ghost Spider gulped. "But at least this Rhino guy won't be hard to find, due to the destruction he's left behind."

"True." Spider-Man agreed.

They both approached a vent shaft, then put their bags down near it, then webbed them to the shaft.

"Come on." Spider-Man said.

They both jumped off the rooftop and began swinging down the street. They passed by several crushed cars and damaged power lines, before they heard something.

"AGHH!" a man moaned. "My legs!"

Both Spiders landed on the side of a building, then spotted a construction worker lying a damaged power line, clutching his legs.

"I'll get him. Keep following the trail." Spider-Man said.

"Got it." Ghost Spider understood.

They both jumped off and swung in different directions.

Once near the construction worker, Spider-Man picked him up and began swinging away.

"You'll be alright." he said.

He kept swinging away with the man over his shoulder, before he saw an Ambulance nearby. He then swung down towards it, then put the man down, as a few Paramedics came out.

"Thanks, Spider-Man." the man said.

"We've got him." a female Paramedic said.

"Right." Spider-Man understood.

He jumped up and began swinging away, following the path of destruction.

Up ahead of him, Ghost Spider was swinging down a ruined street, when she spotted a part of a car inside a large pothole, with an Ambulance nearby.

"Some people must in danger." she gasped.

She spread her arms out and glided towards the scene, then landed near the pothole, seeing a woman in her 30s trapped beneath the car.

"Oh, webs!" she gasped.

She dived into the hole, then grabbed the end of the car, then began to lift it up.

"AHH!" she grunted.

She lifted the car up slightly, until the woman was able to crawl out from it, then she put it down.

"You okay, ma'am?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Yeah." the woman said, clutching her left leg. "I think I've broken my leg through."

"Right. Well, hang on." Ghost Spider said.

She picked the woman up over her shoulder, then jumped out of the pothole. She then put her down near the Ambulance, as a few paramedics cam out of it.

"She's got a broken leg." Ghost Spider explained.

"Right." one said, who was an Asian man. "We've got it."

Ghost Spider nodded, then turned around and jumped up, then began swinging through the city again, following the path of destruction.

Spider-Man meanwhile swung up and landed on a rooftop, then ran along it, seeing more damage all over the city. Once at the end, he jumped off it and kept swinging through the city, seeing more damage, including a few lampposts and street lights being knocked over, and even a fire hydrant being knocked over. He swung forward down the street, then turned right down it, seeing a burning car trapped inside a subway entrance.

"Oh, man!" he moaned.

He swung down towards the car, then shot a web from both hands at it, then landed on the ground as he began to pull it up.

"The people down there's gonna burn to death if I don't get them out quickly!" he grunted.

He heaved and pulled hard, using all his strength.

"Help us!" a man called from the entrance.

Spider-Man kept pulling and heaving, as people came out from the nearby buildings.

"Come on, Spidey!" a man called.

"You can do it!" a woman called.

"Where's Ghost Spider?" an African man muttered.

"Must be elsewhere." another said. "Due all the damage that's happening to the city."

Spider-Man kept heaving and pulling, before he finally got the burning car out of the subway entrance.

"Everybody out! Run!" he said frantically.

About a dozen people, including three kids, all came running out of the entrance and into the city.

"Thanks, Spider-Man." a woman said.

"You're my hero." a boy said.

"Thanks." Spider-Man said. "But look, no time for autographs. I've gotta catch the guy doing all this."

He jumped up and swung off as all the citizens stared at him, cheering happily, then met up with Ghost Spider as she jumped off another building, then began swinging beside him.

"This Rhino's done a lot more damage than I first thought." Ghost Spider realized.

"I know." Spider-Man said. "The quicker we stop him, the better."

They kept on swinging, then spotted a few men lying on the ground, not moving a muscle, telling them both they were dead.

"Guess we can add murder to its crime record." Ghost Spider sighed.

"Depends actually. If it's an animal, he might not have known what he was doing." Spider-Man said.

They both landed on a rooftop and looked around, seeing the damage was worse as they kept following it. They both then spotted and landed near an African-American Officer, who leaned against a lamppost, clutching his leg.

"You alright?" Spider-Man asked.

"Yeah." the Officer replied. "This Rhino guy is really trashing the city. Even Doctors and Nurses have had to come out to help the Paramedics."

"Did you see where the Rhino went?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Yeah. That way." the Officer said, pointing left.

"Don't worry. We'll get him." Ghost Spider promised.

She and Spider-Man both jumped up and swung away.

After following the wreckage of the city for about three minutes, they both landed on a rooftop and looked around.

"I'm starting to get the feeling this Rhino isn't your average size." Ghost Spider said.

"Me too." Spider-Man said.

They both turned as they heard a trashing noise, then turned and saw part of a building fall over.

"Found him!" Spider-Man said.

"Let's go then." Ghost Spider said. "The quicker we get this done, the better."

They both jumped off the rooftop, then began to swinging towards the one recently ruined.

Near that building, several Police cars pulled over, then the officers got out - including Stan Carter, and Lt. DeWolff - and aimed their sidearms forward.

"Freeze!" the Lt. roared.

A squad car raced towards the giant Rhino creature, but it whacked it with its right arm, sending it flying away.

"AGHH!" the Officers inside yelled.

The car crashed through the window of a building nearby, but luckily, no one inside was hurt as they all ducked.

"AGH!" the Officers moaned.

The Rhino turned to Lt. DeWolff and the others, as both Spiders landed behind him.

"Hey, you!" Spider-Man called. "Is that a Rhinoceros horn or is..."

The Rhino turned around, showing it was much bigger than them, about four times their size.

"I'm so scared I can't finish my lame joke." Spider-Man gulped.

"Okay, this isn't good." Ghost Spider gulped.

The Rhino raised its left arm up, then whacked both Spiders just as their Spider-Senses tingled, not giving them a chance to dodge. Spider-Man hit a wall hard, while Ghost Spider went flying into a shop window, smashing it to pieces.

"AHH!" she moaned, landing on her back.

Several people inside turned to her, as she looked up.

"Uh, sorry about that." she said.

She got up and jumped out of the window, just as Spider-Man got up, as he'd falling onto his chest from the wall, clutching his chest slightly.

"You okay?" Ghost Spider asked worriedly.

"Yeah! Think I cracked a couple of ribs though!" Spider-Man moaned.

They both turned and saw the Rhino running down the street, trashing a bus stop and kicking a motorbike away as he did.

"Due to all the damage this guy's done, I'd say the construction workers are gonna be working overtime to get everything fixed." Ghost Spider deduced.

"I know. It might not be until after New Year that all the damage has been repaired." Spider-Man sighed. "Come on, we better catch him before it gets worse."

They both jumped up and began swinging after the Rhino, who ran down the street, knocking over two lampposts, a fire hydrant, and a squashing an empty car as it did.

Rhino kept running down the street, smashing part of a building open, then smashed right through another one, creating a large hole in it. People all around the neighbourhood began to run off scared as he charged down the street.

"AGHH!" they screamed.

Rhino kept charging down the street, then he whacked a car with his left arm, sending it flying away.

"AGH!" the driver yelled.

The car got wedged into the side of a building, then the driver - who was a red-haired man - fell out of the door, hanging onto it.

Both Spiders dived through the large hole in the building, then spotted the man hanging onto his car.

"Oh, webs!" Ghost Spider gasped. "Look!"

"I'll get him. You keep after Rhino!" Spider-Man said.

"But-" Ghost Spider began.

"There's no time to argue!" Spider-Man snapped. "Anyway, you're faster than me! I've told you that before."

"Oh, alright." Ghost Spider said, giving in.

She jumped up and began gliding after Rhino, since the buildings weren't very tall for web-swinging, while Spider-Man web-zipped towards the car in the building.

"HELP!" the man cried.

Spider-Man landed on the building's side, then began to climb up towards the man, as people all around panicked. The man turned to Spider-Man when he got close, then took his hand.

"I gotcha." Spider-Man said. "Hang on."

The man wrapped his arms around Spider-Man, who then jumped off the rooftop and glided down towards the ground. He then landed on it, then the man got off him, before he turned.

"You okay?" Spider-Man asked.

"Yeah. Thanks, Spider-Man." the man said. "Jameson's got you and your partner all wrong."

"Thanks." Spider-Man said.

He jumped up and began to glide along past some buildings, before he got to some bigger ones, allowing him to web-swing. He then landed on the side of a building, then took out his phone and dialled Gwen's number.

"Ghost, you see Rhino?" he asked.

(Elsewhere)

Ghost Spider stood on a rooftop with her phone near her ear, watching the Rhino right below her, rampaging down the street. He'd already destroyed two fire hydrants, a bus stop, and then she saw him whack a building with his right arm, creating a hole in it.

"I'm still behind him." she said. "He's going down past Rockaway Boulevard."

"Keep after him." Spider-Man said. "I'm right behind you."

"Got it." Ghost Spider said.

She hung up and put her phone away, then began swinging after the Rhino, as he turned left down the street. She turned left as she kept chasing after him, seeing him knock over a street light, then a stop sign, then squashed two cars with his feet. She got closer to Rhino as he charged down the street, when he turned right down the street, heading towards a six-year old girl in the road, as her mother came running from a building.

"NOOO!" Ghost Spider gasped.

"Janet!" the mother cried.

"AGHH!" Janet cried, turning to the Rhino.

Ghost Spider glided past Rhino and grabbed Janet, then swung away with her, just before the Rhino could squash her. She then landed in front of the mother and put Janet down.

"Janet?" the mother cried, running towards her.

"Mom!" Janet cried.

She ran towards her mom, then they hugged each other as the mother picked her up.

"Thank you, Ghost Spider." the mother said.

"Glad I could help." Ghost Spider said. "But right now, I have to stop that Rhino, before he does even more damage."

She jumped up and began swinging after the Rhino again, seeing he'd put holes in two more buildings, and had trashed a motorbike.

Spider-Man then came swinging towards her on her left, then they both kept following the wreckage of the city.

"This guy is a monster." Ghost Spider admitted. "He almost killed a little girl for no reason at all."

"Then let's stop him before he can kill anyone else." Spider-Man said.

They both kept on swinging down the street, then turned left to follow the wreckage, before they landed on a rooftop. They then ran along it, then looked down at a street, seeing Rhino running down it, before he knocked over a lamppost, which trapped a Latino man, as two white men ran for it.

"AHH!" the man moaned.

Both Spiders jumped off the roof and glided down towards the ground, as the Rhino kept running away, before he knocked over part of a building, trapping a woman.

"I'll get the woman." Spider-Man said. "You help the man."

"Got it." Ghost Spider understood.

She landed near the lamppost, then ran towards it, and saw it was Gilberto Corazon - although she didn't know that - who was pinned under it.

"Hang on, sir." Ghost Spider said.

She bent down and lifted up the lamppost slightly, allowing Mr. Corazon to crawl away.

Spider-Man landed near the rubble trapping the woman, then lifted it up.

"UH!" he grunted. "GO!"

The woman crawled out from beneath the rubble, then got up slightly, but then fell over as Spider-Man let the rubble go.

"You okay?" he asked.

"No! I think I've hurt my leg." the woman said.

Spider-Man looked around, before a female Paramedic came over.

"I'll take care of her." she said. "Get after that Rhino."

"Right." Spider-Man said.

At the same time, Ghost Spider put the lamppost down, as Mr. Corazon got up, then leaned against a wall.

"You alright?" she asked

"No! I think my leg's broken." Mr. Corazon moaned.

Ghost Spider looked around, just as an Ambulance pulled up nearby.

"Don't worry, Mr.. You'll be alright." she said.

"Thanks." Mr. Corazon said.

Two Paramedics got out of the Ambulance, then ran over to Mr. Corazon and Ghost Spider.

"We've got her, Ghost Spider." one said, who was a red-haired man.

"Come along, Mr. Corazon." the other said, who was a blonde woman.

"Corazon?" Ghost Spider questioned. "Could this be Anya's father?"

She turned and jumped up, then swung off, just as Spider-Man did the same, as Mr. Corazon sat down against the Ambulance.

"I don't what I'm gonna tell my hija when she sees me." he mumbled.

He held up his phone as the Paramedics looked at him, then brought up a picture of him and Anya together from last year, with them both in their old apartment.

Both Spiders soon met up and began swinging down the street, following the path of destruction left by the Rhino.

"That man okay?" Spider-Man asked.

"Yeah. He broke his leg though." Ghost Spider answered. "How's the woman?"

"Fine, expect her leg's hurt." Spider-Man said.

They both landed on a rooftop, then looked down at more wreckage the Rhino had left, leaving Ghost Spider nervous.

"You okay?" Spider-Man asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just, that man...the Paramedics said last name was Corazon." Ghost Spider explained. "I think that might've been Anya's Dad."

"Oh, boy..." Spider-Man mumbled.

They turned back tot he street, then jumped off it and began swinging down the street, following the wreckage.

They both soon landed on a rooftop, then looked around, before Spider-Man saw Rhino on his left.

"There he is!" he said.

Ghost Spider turned, then they both jumped off the roof and glided down towards the ground - since the buildings weren't very tall. They both then landed on the ground, then saw the Rhino near a small construction site, which had two gasoline tanks, a wrecking ball, and wet cerement.

"I have an idea." Spider-Man said.

He whispered his plan to Ghost Spider, as the Rhino moved towards a large tank of flammable liquid.

"Good idea. Let's hope it works." Ghost Spider said.

She ran towards the wrecking ball, as Spider-Man ran towards the Rhino, as he approached the tank of flammable liquid.

"Time to get his attention." Spider-Man thought.

He jumped up and stuck to the Rhino's back, then began to bang on it as the Rhino began to lift the tank up, but hurt his fists slightly as he did.

"What? Since when are Rhino's metal?" he wondered, as he kept banging.

Ghost Spider turned to them once near the wrecking ball, then waited for the signal.

Spider-Man kept banging on Rhino's back, making Rhino put the tank down.

"I will destroy you!" Rhino bellowed.

Spider-Man jumped off his back and back flipped away, as Rhino turned to him, not spotting Ghost Spider.

"Over here, hornhead!" Spider-Man mocked.

He turned and ran off slightly, as Rhino charged at him angrily.

"AGHH!" Rhino yelled.

Spider-Man jumped forward as Rhino tried to whack him, thanks to his Spider-Sense, then he landed on the wet cement.

"Over here!" he mocked.

Rhino turned and charged at him, then once he was close, went to punch Spider-Man, but missed as he jumped over him, getting his hand stuck in the cement.

"Ha, ha, miss me!" Spider-Man mocked.

He landed crouched down behind Rhino, then turned to him, seeing him struggling to get his hand out of the cement.

"AGHH!" Rhino growled.

Spider-Man turned and ran off, while staring at Ghost Spider.

"Ghost, now!" Spider-Man yelled.

"Right!" Ghost Spider said. "Here goes nothing."

She jumped onto the wrecking ball and swung it forward towards the Rhino. It then hit him in the back as she back flipped away, sending him flying away. She landed crouched down, just as Rhino hit the gasoline tanks, which blew up on impact, knocking him into the air.

"Now that had to have hurt him." Ghost Spider hoped.

Rhino landed on the ground hard on his back, as both Spiders gathered together. They both then high-fived each other, just as the Rhino pulled himself back up.

"Still not down!" Spider-Man complained. "Oh, man!"

Rhino then began to run off down a street, when Ghost Spider spotted a hole in his back, showing wiring.

"I think our Rhino is nothing more than a giant robot." she said. "Look!"

She pointed at the hole in Rhino's back, which Spider-Man then noticed.

"Then let's pull the plug on this guy." he said. "That hole in his back has given him a weak spot."

"So that's where we strike." Ghost Spider finished, as they both began swinging off after the Rhino.

Rhino kept running down the street, before he entered the Motorways car shop, which was filled with cars. He then smashed a few with his feet while knocking others away with his arms, just as both Spiders landed near the entrance.

"That's enough, Rhino!" Ghost Spider yelled.

Rhino turned around to them both.

"You've caused enough damage for one day, hornhead!" Spider-Man shouted, pointing at him. "This rampage of yours ends now!"

"AGHH!" Rhino yelled.

He picked up a car, then threw it at them both, but missed as they both jumped away.

"Whoa!" Ghost Spider yelped.

The Rhino turned and banged the ground with his fists, cracking open the ground, making her back flip away.

"Okay, this isn't good." she gulped, sticking to a wall.

Spider-Man jumped and swung around Rhino, getting behind him, seeing the hole in his back. He was about to jump up, when Rhino turned around to him.

"Oh, great!" he gulped.

"I will kill you!" Rhino yelled.

He charged at Spider-Man, making him jump up and over him, but he then whacked him with his left arm, sending Spider-Man flying away.

"AHH!" he yelled, hitting the ground.

"Spidey!" Ghost Spider gasped.

She shot two webs at Rhino's back, then web-zipped towards him, kicking the hole in his back, before she back flipped away as he turned around. She landed on the ground crouched down, then dived to her left as Rhino charged at her.

Spider-Man lifted his head up and looked at Rhino, but his vison was blurry, seeing Rhino slam right into a wall, getting stuck in it. He then saw Ghost Spider jump towards Rhino, before sticking to his back, then she began pounding the hole in his back with her fists. He shook his head, then his vison cleared, then he jumped up and ran towards them, just as his and his partner's Spider Senses tingled.

"Uh-oh." he gasped.

"Webs!" Ghost Spider gasped.

She jumped off Rhino's back, then back flipped away, just as Rhino himself out of the wall, then turned around to them both.

"I will squash you both like the bugs you are!" he roared.

"You're welcome to try!" Ghost Spider retorted.

"And you're not the first to say so!" Spider-Man said.

Rhino charged at them both, as they turned to each other.

"Trip-wire!" Spider-Man said.

Ghost Spider nodded, knowing what he had in mind, then they both dived away, Spider-Man to his left, Ghost Spider to her right. They both then lay crouched down, before shooting a web at the same time, which stuck together, strengthening them. Rhino kept charging forward, before he tripped over the webs, causing him to his the ground on his chest.

"AH!" he yelled.

Both Spiders quickly jumped onto his back, then Spider-Man noticed wires in it.

"Pull out the wires." he said. "That might stop him."

"Right!" Ghost Spider understood.

They both pulled the wires out, but then their Spider Senses tingled as Rhino lifted his head up.

"Yikes!" Ghost Spider gasped.

"Uh-oh!" Spider-Man yelped.

They both back flipped off Rhino, as he got up and turned around to them.

"AGHH!" he roared angrily.

He raised his right arm up, but then sparks began to come out all over him, then his eyes blacked out, and then he fell onto his back.

"OH!" he moaned.

Both Spiders looked down at the wreckage, and saw the words 'Trask Industries' on the left foot.

"Trask? Why does that name sound familiar?" Spider-Man wondered.

"The guy Kitty and Bobby told us about." Ghost Spider recalled.

"Oh, yeah." Spider-Man said. "I'm gonna have to look up this guy."

Part of the Rhino's chest then opened up, then a skinny blonde man with glasses got out of it.

"Yah!" he yelped. "Back away from me, masked Avengers?!"

He turned away slightly as both Spiders stared at him.

"I can't stand to see for people to see me like this!" the man cried.

"Big words, Mr." Spider-Man said.

"Yeah." Ghost spider agreed.

"I can't stand this!" the man cried. "Don't-"

Spider-Man webbed up his mouth.

"Sorry, Mr., but you've caused a lot of damage to the city." Ghost Spider said. "You're going away for this."

She and Spider-Man webbed up the man, then left him hanging from a lamppost near the parking lot. They both then swung away as he stared at them both, sighing sadly.

"My Boss is gonna kill me." he gulped.

Several Police Cars then showed up nearby, then the Officers inside got out, including Capt. Stacy.

"Whoa. Not quite what I was expecting." he admitted.

"Neither was I." a Officer admitted.

"This Rhino that's been trashing the city's been a robot this entire time?" a female one complained. "I don't believe it."

Capt. Stacy approached the man, then picked up a note left near him, that said 'Courtesy of your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider Duo'.

The man gulped as two Officers cut him down, then the Capt. stared at him, as one cuffed him.

"What's your name?" the Capt. asked.

"Alexander O'Hirn." the man replied.

"Well, Mr. O'Hirn, you're under arrest for destroying about 20% of Queens, that includes killing and injuring many innocent people." the Capt. said.

Alex looked down as the Officers led him towards a car.

Capt. Stacy approached his, then took out his radio, and put it to his ear.

"Watanabe, what's the damage to the city?" he asked.

"At least 30% of Queens has been trashed by this Rhino." Lt. Watanabe answered. "I still haven't got the full casualty report through."

"What's your estimate?" the Capt. asked.

"Over 100 at least." the Lt. replied. "I have to admit through, without Spider-Man and Ghost Spider, this could've been a lot worse. A far greater lose of life could've happened."

"I know what you mean." the Capt. agreed.

He sighed slightly, glad to know - or at least he thought - that Gwen had been at school, and nowhere near this rampage.

"Call me back when you get the full list." he said.

"Roger." Lt. Watanabe said.

The Capt. lowered his radio and turned to some of the wreckage.

"I hope Jameson blames this fully on the Rhino." he hoped, getting into his car. "But, knowing him, he's bound to put some on the Spiders."

He fastened his seatbelt, then moved his car back, and then raced it down the street, followed by the others.

A little later, both Spiders landed on a rooftop - the same one where they first spotted the Rhino's rampage, where they'd left the bags - then leaned against a vent shaft together.

"Ow! I feel like my skull's about to come out." Spider-Man sighed.

"I know what you mean." Ghost Spider sighed, touching her head. "I feel like I've been hit by a train!"

They leaned against each other and sighed. Ghost Spider then took her phone out, and saw that they'd missed the rest of school because of the Rhino's rampage.

"We are so dead." she sighed. "We missed the rest of school because of this."

Spider-Man looked at her phone, seeing it was after 4pm, half-an-hour after school finishes.

"I'd hate to think what Aunt May's gonna say when she finds this out." he sighed.

"Same with my Dad." Ghost Spider sighed. "I wouldn't be surprised if my curfew's shortened."

"We'd better go." Spider-Man said. "We have to get home and rest."

"Agreed. After that fight, I just wanna lie down and rest for a while." Ghost Spider sighed.

"Shall we meet at the Coffee Bean later." Peter suggested. "You know, in case..."

"Sure." Ghost Spider said. "Make it 7pm though. I really need to rest for a while after all this."

"Okay." Spider-Man said. "See you then."

They both got up, then picked up their bags, then jumped off the roof, and then began swinging away towards their homes.

Unknown to either of them, they were being watched from the ground, by none other than Eddie Brock.

"I'll make you two pay for what you did." he vowed, as he remembered how they got the Venom Symbiote off him over 6 months ago. "I'll find my friend and get my revenge on you both."

He turned around and walked off in a huff, planning his revenge on both Spiders.

As Ghost Spider kept swinging off towards her house, her phone rang, making her land on a rooftop. She then took it out of her bag, and saw it was her father calling.

"Hi, Dad." she said, putting to her ear.

"Gwen, you might want to be careful getting home from school." her father advised. "A large part of the city's been trashed by a Rhino."

"Uh, right. I saw the news report." Ghost Spider said.

"Well, it's over now." her father assured. "I'll be home as quick as I can, okay."

"Okay. Love you." Ghost Spider, hanging up.

She was shocked to know her father hadn't mentioned her skipping school for half a day, which confused her completely.

"He surely must've know that." she thought. "I mean, someone had to have called him, even if he has been busy due to the Rhino."

She put her phone into her bag, then kept on swinging home.

Later, Spider-Man arrived near his house, then ducked down behind a few bins and quickly changed into his normal clothes. He then ran towards the front, then opened the door.

"Aunt May, I'm home." he said.

He hung his jacket up, just as Aunt May showed up in the kitchen door.

"I'm glad you're back, Peter." she said. "I was glad you weren't involved in what happened today. That Rhino creep trashed over a quarter of Queens."

"Uh, Aunt May, listen-" Peter began.

"You didn't leave school to get pictures, did you?" Aunt May asked. "I know you're trying to help with that job of yours, but this one today, I think it was too risky."

"Well..." Peter said.

He thought long and hard, since his Aunt May hadn't scowled at him for skipping school, like she didn't know, which left him confused. And to be honest, the way he and Gwen had been chasing the Rhino, he'd forgot to take his camera out of his schoolbag.

"I would have, if he'd come close to the school, Aunt May." he lied. "But he didn't."

"I'm glad of that." Aunt May said. "I'm sure your boss will accept you this time."

She turned and walked back into the kitchen, then Peter sighed and walked upstairs.

"She didn't even mention me cutting school?" he thought. "I wonder why? Oh, I need to find out more about Trask first."

Once in his bedroom, he turned on his computer, then began to research Trask Industries. He found out its owner was Bolivar Trask, the same one the X-Men had told him and Gwen about, and the same one from his parents files.

"Why would Trask do something like this?" he wondered. "Unless that guy was jealous and stole it from him. And I wonder why Trask hates Mutants that much."

He looked at the screen carefully, reading it carefully, especially the bit about his Sentinel robots.

"Sounds to me like those robots could do more harm than good, especially if they're made from the same armour as that Rhino." he thought. "Not to mention innocent people might get hurt or killed in the crossfire. Did he even consider that?"

He turned his computer off then turned around.

"Better tell Gwen this." he thought.

In the sitting room, Aunt May was sitting on the couch, when Peter came down the stairs.

"I'm going out for a while." he said.

"Okay." Aunt May said. "But be careful okay. There's bound to be a lot of construction workers out now that that Rhino's been stopped."

"I will, Aunt May." Peter promised.

He got his jacket and opened the front door, and walked outside of the house.

Later, Peter walked towards Coffee Bean, when Gwen came running up behind him.

"Peter, wait up?" Gwen called.

Peter turned around as Gwen stopped near him.

"Was you're Aunt May mad at you for skipping most of school today?" Gwen asked worriedly.

"She didn't mention it to be honest." Peter admitted, as she'd looked like no one had called her.

"Now that you mention it, my Dad didn't either." Gwen recalled, as he'd said nothing about her cutting school. "Didn't dare bring it up in case he got mad."

"Same here." Peter said.

They both stopped outside the Coffee Bean, as Harry and Mary Jane both came running towards them both.

"You two okay?" Harry asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Gwen inquired.

"Principal Davis told everyone you both had to leave school early today for an emergency." Mary Jane explained. "He wouldn't say why through."

"Yeah. Some of the teachers weren't convinced though. Principal Davis said the Liberian told him." Harry said. "Marked you both down as authorized absence."

Peter and Gwen turned to each other confused, making them both think the Liberian must've made sure none of the teachers called Aunt May and Capt. Stacy to explain their absence today. They all turned and walked into the Coffee Bean, as Harry opened the door, Peter and Gwen following slowly behind their friends.

"Why would the Liberian lie for us?" Gwen whispered. "I mean, she couldn't have overheard us, could she?"

"I don't know." Peter sighed. "I'm grateful she did, but...I do wonder why."

"I know what you mean, especially if no one told Dad and your Aunt May about us leaving school early yesterday." Gwen sighed.

"Yeah." Peter agreed. "Better keep an eye on her."

They both stopped near a crowd of people near a table, which included Flash, Randy, Liz, Mark and Anya - all but Anya sitting at it. As they both got closer, they saw Jameson giving a news report, on Flash's handheld TV.

"Early today, the city was being terrorized by our web-headed menaces again, this time accompanied by a large robotic Rhino." Jameson said.

The screen showed the three of them in the city, before it moved to the top right corner.

"According to Capt. George Stacy, 19 people were killed, and at least 127 injured." Jameson explained. "If anything, this is proof that the Spiders belong in jail, just like this man who piloted the Rhino robot: Alex O'Hirn."

The screen showed him in the top left corner, in a mugshot from a Police Station.

"That's the guy who did all the rampage?" Liz questioned, shocked. "Never would've guessed."

"Me neither, sis." Mark agreed.

"It's time those wall-crawling menaces were locked up for good. This is J. Jonah Jameson, signing off." Jameson said.

The TV changed slightly, then Flash turned it off in annoyance.

"Ah! How could Jameson still blame the Spiders for this?!" Anya exclaimed, her accent slightly stronger than normal. "My Dad was among those 127 people who were injured!"

"So that was her father?" Gwen gasped quietly, turning to Peter.

"Must get her looks from her mom's side." Peter whispered, for Anya hardly resembled her father.

The others turned to her.

"Your Dad?" Randy inquired.

"Yeah." Anya said. "He told me over the phone the Spiders saved him after he'd broken his leg, as a lamppost had fallen onto him."

"I'm sure everyone who witnessed what happened is angry at Jameson for this." Flash said.

"Agreed." Mark and Randy said.

Unknown to any of them, the Liberian was watching them all from outside the Coffee Bean, peaking at them from a window, before she turned and walked off.

"You'll both find out soon enough, Spider-Man and Ghost Spider." she thought.

Inside, Peter and Gwen turned and approached the counter, then sat at it, as the owner - Joe, who had a moustache and beard - came towards them.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"Two sodas." Peter said.

"Right." Joe said.

He picked up two cups, then poured soda into them both, then put a straw into them, then handed them to the two teens.

"Thanks." Gwen said.

"That's 2.50." Joe said.

Peter payed for them both, then they both got up and walked over to a table in the corner, then sat beside each other.

"So, did you find anything about this Trask?" Gwen asked quietly.

"Yep." Peter answered.

He explained to her all he'd found out about Bolivar Trask, from why he created the Sentinel robots, and about he was the same guy from his parents files.

"So, you think he ordered that man to attack the city as the Rhino?" Gwen asked quietly.

"I don't know." Peter answered. "But I do know this; if his Sentinels are as bad as that Rhino, he might end up doing more harm than good."

"Agreed." Gwen said. "The ones we saw were just fakes in that Danger Room. I'd hate to see how the real thing is."

They both drank some of their sodas while thinking about all that had happened today, wondering what Trask could be up to.

In a tall building in the city, which was called Trask Industries, Bolivar Trask himself sat in a chair in his office, which was at the top of the building. He put his hands together, then spun his chair around, as a man approached him.

"O'Hirn's been arrested for rampaging with the RHINO armour." the man explained.

"Since he stole it, we won't have to lie to the Police if they trace it back to me." Trask said. "So, not a total loss. Make sure no one else steals from us through. I don't want a repeat of this."

"Yes, sir." the man said.

He turned and walked away, as Trask turned his chair around and stared at the city.

"I hope you rot there forever, traitor. I needed that suit to help my Sentinels rid the world of the Mutant Menace." Trask hissed. "But no matter, you've only slowed me down, like how Parker and Brock did 11 years ago. You should be lucky to be in jail, unlike them, who I had killed to keep silent."

He laughed evilly as he turned his chair around, then put his feet up on his desk.
