Fight on the Helicarrier
Before anything else could happen, the whole Helicarrier shook, with an explosion coming from the floor of the lab, throwing everyone back, especially Nat and Bruce, who were thrown through the glass and fell down a shaft.
Both Steve and Tony looked at each other, now forgetting whatever tension they had between them.
"Put on the suit." Steve told Tony.
"Yeah." Tony agreed as they got back on their feet and left the lab.
Tom got up and looked over at Thor.
"You make sure Loki doesn't escape, me and Ghost will handle Bruce if he turns into Hulk." Tom told him and he nodded, both leaving and heading their separate ways as Fury has been informed that Engine Three has been damaged.
Alarms were going off as Tom bolted his way through the corridors to head down to where Bruce and Nat are.
Down below, Nat was silently making her way through all the pipes and plumbing, scared for her life as Bruce had turned into the Hulk and had nearly got her as she evaded him.
She stopped for a second as she heard heavy footsteps nearby. She then pulled her gun out and walked silently, keeping an eye out for him.
However, when she turned a corner, the Hulk in his green glory roared like an animal at her. Nat aimed her gun at a pipe above him and fired at it, releasing high pressure steam on him, which distracted him enough for Nat to run away as fast as she could with her injured leg from the fall.
She was running past machinery encased in glass when the Hulk was catching up, unbelievably fast, wrecking everything in his path.
Eventually, he caught up to her and swatted her into a wall right as he slammed into another.
Nat groaned as she rested up against the wall to see the Hulk walk up to her, ready to strike her with the back of his hand. But before he could do anything, a snarl came from his left and a grey blur rammed into him, smashing through the wall.
Ghost and Hulk burst into a lower hangar, Hulk rolling to a stop while Ghost rammed his claws into the ground, slowing him down to a halt.
"Get out!" Ghost told all of the crew members, who ran away.
He and the Hulk got on their feet and circled each other, Hulk roaring at the Klyntar.
He then swung a fist at him, but Ghost leaned back to avoid being hit and then he swung his fist, hitting Hulk in the jaw. Hulk then spun, throwing a punch but it was evaded again and Ghost shot tendrils from both of his hands to hold the Hulk in place, using all his strength.
"Snap out of it, Bruce! Gain control of yourself!" Ghost tried to talk Hulk down, but he just scoffed and had gotten free from Ghost's grasp and hit him in the face, throwing him through a pile of metal containers, the Klyntar, rolling on the ground.
"He ain't gonna listen. We'll just have to fight him." Tom told Ghost.
"Looks like it." Ghost was in agreement as he snarled and let his tongue out when the Hulk roared. His right hand then morphed into a big hammer, hardening as it dropped to the floor with a loud thud.
The Hulk then charged up behind him and as was about to hit him, Ghost spun around in a blur, hitting the Hulk with his hammer right in the face, launching him into a jet, denting it severely. Hulk got on his feet immediately and growled at Ghost. He then grabbed a wing from the jet and threw it at Ghost, who reformed his hammer into a blade, cutting the wing in half. Hulk charged at him and Ghost formed his left hand into a shield, holding it in front of him as Hulk swung his fist at him. The man beast roared as he relentlessly hit the shield, but then Ghost rammed the shield into his face, making him stumble back and then the Klyntar formed the shield into mace with spikes, swinging it at him downwards, making the Hulk hit the floor, making a huge dent.
Ghost then stomped on his head, trying to dig his clawed toes into him but there weren't any marks.
"How thick is his skin?" Tom questioned in disbelief. Hulk then grabbed Ghost's ankle and he leaped upward, bringing Ghost with him, crashing into the lab.
They both recovered but Hulk made the first move, punching Ghost in the face so hard that Ghost groaned in pain, but he tackled Hulk into a wall and punched him repeatedly in the face before Hulk kicked him off of him.
The two then traded blows until Hulk kicked him across the lab though Ghost clawed into the floor, slowing to a halt. He saw a jet through the window before it fired at the Hulk's back. Ghost formed a shield to protect himself. The Hulk started to get more and more ticked off, roaring at the jet and leaping towards it and tearing it apart as it descended in the air.
Ghost now receded back into Tom as he walked up to the wrecked window, looking out at the Hulk, panting heavily.
"That was overkill." Tom told Ghost.
"Yeah. And to think I thought he'd be a worthy challenge." Ghost said.
"Let's go and help whoever needs any help." Tom then said aloud.
"Got it." Ghost said before Tom ran out of the lab.
He ran down the hallway and he turned the corner to see a worker trapped under some metal slabs.
"Help!" The man cried out to him. Tom got up to him and his arms formed into Ghost's and he lifted the metal up, straining slightly as he gritted his teeth, lifting it up high enough for the man to crawl out, his leg bleeding from a cut. Once he's out, Tom drops the metal and his arms return to normal.
"Thanks." The man said as Tom pulled him up to his feet.
"No problem, get going." He told him. The man then limped to someone who saw him and carried him off somewhere.
Tom then made his way through the Helicarrier when suddenly it shifted as though it was descending through the sky.
"Another engine must be down." Ghost stated.
"Not good." Tom said as he held on until the Helicarrier evened out. He then ran and helped some more people.
After that, he turned a corner to face a whole bunch of armed men, who fired at him. Because his armour is bulletproof, he blocked the bullets with his gauntlets as he hid back at the corner.
"How many are there?" Tom asked the Klyntar.
"Five." His friend informed him.
"Sounds fair." He muttered before he turned the corner, rolled to avoid gunfire and he swiped one hostile off his feet while a grey tendril formed out of his back and smacked the rest against the walls.
Tom then punched the one he swiped right in the face, knocking him out. He then moved onto the rest as they got back up. The first one he dealt with, he blocked his weak attacks and then struck some pressure points, paralyzing him. He then moved onto the next one, dislocating his shoulder, a tendril forming out of his back again, dealing with the last two who were trying to sneak up on him. The tendril grabbed one of them by the neck, trying to black him out while Tom finished the last one off, smacking his palm onto his neck and kneeing him in the groin and choke holding him.
After several seconds, they blacked out and Ghost and Tom let go of them, dropping them on the ground.
"That was easier than I thought." Tom pointed out.
"You'd think they'd train them better." Ghost added as Tom headed down the hallway until he came across Tony in a slightly damaged Iron Man suit lying next to one of the goons.
"I see you've been busy." He said, pulling Tony up on his feet, who then took his helmet off and Tom looked up at Steve, nodding to him.
"Agent Coulson is down." All three of them heard Fury say, giving them news that made their hearts sink.
