CHAPTER FOUR
As before, Draco was gone when he woke. The only sign he was there was the blood on their shared pillow. Harry's stomach dropped and he would have gone to find him immediately if Poppy hadn't demanded he stay.
"Harry, you need to rest or at the very least build up to everyday magic. You probably used magic a dozen times a day before? Try half of that-
"I use magic for everything. If I'm not using it to get around or mundane tasks, I'm fortifying my defenses. There is not a second of the day I am not using some amount of magic."
"But that's impossible, Harry. The magical core can only withstand so many hours of use in a certain period."
Harry frowned. "What are you calling a 'magical core?'"
"Where our energy is stored in our bodies, of course."
Harry shook his head. "I do not have a core, I just am. Go ahead and check if you can. You'll see."
Poppy bit her lip because she wanted to check, her natural curiosity was a detriment sometimes, but Harry was still weak, and any detection of the magical core was risky. It wasn't used in healing unless it proved to be a cause of sickness.
"You know you want to." Harry gave her a smirk and Poppy huffed before raising her wand.
Starting from the top of his head; she started the scan and immediately it rang that she reached the center of his core. No one's core was in their head! She continued to scan his body with her detection charm ricocheting alarms off each other. Every single inch of his body was showing as a magical core.
In the center of his back however was the strongest source of magic. Poppy asked him if she could see his back which Harry allowed.
It was smooth and free of blemishes, but when she touched gently with her fingers it was burning hot.
"I believe that is where my Hellfire is kept dormant in my human form." Harry supplied though he was not completely sure that was the case.
"I'll be…" Poppy did not know what to make of it.
"When did you successfully complete the Animagus process?"
"A month before the start of term; however, I could turn long before then, I just couldn't control my turning."
"What do you mean, Harry? Animagi elect to change."
"My dragon is stubborn. Almost with his own identity and desires." Harry thought back to what happened with Draco. He was going to ask Remus about territorial behavior but perhaps Poppy could shine some other insight.
"I was compelled to do something last night by the dragon. It didn't hurt anyone, but I'm not sure why it happened."
Poppy blinked and realized something drastic must have happened for Harry to lead as if asking for something.
"What happened?"
"I bit Draco. On his throat and hard enough to draw blood; I think that was the goal. Draco said it didn't hurt him at all. It scared both of us I think." Harry added with his posture stiffening. Sharing things was not something he favored.
"Were you fighting?" Poppy asked seemingly shocked since Draco was able to help Harry when no one else could.
"No, kissing."
Poppy was not too old to engage in kissing or even lovers; but she did so rarely and never as young as 11. Times really were changing.
"I see and did anything else occur?"
"No, it was weird. We only kissed a couple times before then. It was definitely the dragon that caused it. I don't think about biting people. Not for fun anyway."
Poppy burst out laughing at the unexpected admission. She promptly covered her mouth, chiding herself for a kneejerk reaction.
"Well, I…Harry, I would suggest you stay away from Draco if you feel such things happening again."
"Of course, I'm not stupid. There was something else. The Dragon liked the blood, a lot."
Something tugged on her memory. The elder dragons were so long extinct that no one alive may-
"Harry, I have something I need to follow up with and I'll let you know what I find. Rest, okay?" Poppy didn't wait for his response and floo'd directly into Albus's office.
"Poppy? Is Harry okay?"
"That remains to be seen, but for now yes. I would like to speak to Flamel."
Albus blinked.
"Oh, come off it. We all know you're still in touch even after your ridiculous falling out."
Albus bristled because what happened was certainly not ridiculous.
"Well, I will owl him."
Poppy stared at him.
"I will owl him directly." He amended and grabbed some parchment. At Poppy's insistence Albus included an incantation for Flamel to use. Once it was off, Albus turned a curious eye on his nurse.
"It was a snippet of Harry's magical scan. It's all the rage now amongst healers and Medi witches. You speak the incantation, and the results will repeat for the caster."
Albus suddenly felt very old. "Well, I seem to be behind on the times. How do you know what incantation to use?"
"You make it up! Quite ingenious, really. All you have to do it set the results to that made up spell and ta-da!"
Albus was lost which Poppy understood and rather enjoyed with the way he prided himself on being all knowing.
"It's like connecting two pieces. I took the scan of Harry and recorded it to be triggered by that incantation."
Albus finally had it click. "You are invaluable to this school, Poppy."
She sniffed. "Well remember that when my evaluation comes up in two weeks. I want a damn good raise, Albus. Kids are coming to see me for contraceptives younger and younger. It's mind boggling."
"Well only 7th years are allowed to-
"Oh, so you want 3rd years unprotected? They will do it regardless of age, so why take away their protection? I seriously think we should have sex education here in the school. Their bodies may be protected but what about their poor little hearts? Don't you remember being 13 and in love?"
Albus wasn't flustered easily but Poppy always seemed to be the one to manage it. "Well of course, but-
"No buts. The next meeting, we will put it to the test. I will send a petition around if I have to, Albus!"
Albus did not like to be cornered but he did see the reasoning. "And I suppose you would love to teach this course? You are an experienced healer after all."
Poppy knew this was a game; with Albus almost everything was a game.
"Yes, I would be delighted! I already have some people I would like to come and speak as well since the young boys wouldn't listen to much I have to say."
Poppy didn't hide her smirk when Albus slumped in his chair with defeat.
The Floo roared and Flamel walked into the room. Poppy was always a bit intimidated by him though he was a perfectly kind man.
"I would like to see young Harry."
"Very well but be assured he is a troubled child and will not take kindly to…. well, you'll see."
Harry was decidedly lonely and bored. Kylie and Duds went back to classes, so he was on his own until this evening or tomorrow.
He took to lighting each of his fingers faster and faster until the speed blurred visibility.
Poppy returned with the headmaster and Flamel.
"Harry this is Mr. Flamel." She began.
Harry interrupted. "I know who he is. I recognize his picture. The elder dragons would have existed before he was born though."
Flamel rather liked a challenging young man. It was good for the spirit; something that was lost on much of the older generation.
"Why do you assume that? And how do you know they are truly extinct?"
"He searches for them; I can feel it every time I change. Did you tell him-
"No, I didn't quite get to that." Poppy answered and Harry let them give a run down to Flamel what occurred. As much as he didn't remember he still didn't want to dwell on it.
"Well, Harry, according to your scans, your entire body is your magical core."
"See I don't understand why you are calling it a core. It's not central. Magic is living and constantly in motion. I think of it as being in the blood, though I don't know how accurate that is. Maybe more minute into each cell?" Harry wondered aloud. He never talked about this with anyone, but many of his nights when Kylie was too hot on him, or he just couldn't sleep he would read.
Flamel was rather blown away but the rationale of an 11-year-old boy but took it in stride.
"Well, that is the question, Harry. Maybe you'll be the one to figure it out someday."
Harry gaped. "You mean you don't know? What have you been doing for 600 years? I thought it was one of those secrets 'too great for man' or some bullshit. You seriously don't know?"
Albus burst into raucous laughter at which Poppy elbowed him.
Flamel smiled politely. "Well Harry if you were to read up on my work-
"I have. I've read everything allowed to be sold to underage wizards. Do you all think I'm stupid? I knew I was different from everyone. I could apparate at 6 years old without splinching. Do you know many 6-year-old's that can hold their focus long enough to do one task? You spent most of your life in France studying Alchemy with a bit of divination. Seems the two of you had a bit of trouble with a dark wizard; and you've just been drinking life juice to do what? Lay around? You literally have a stone of immortality, and you haven't even perfected it. You weren't around with the dragons, but it's possible you knew someone who was, or someone who kept an account. So, which is it?"
Silence met Harry's rant.
"I will bring you the account since you are so smart and need no one's help, Mr. Potter. Good day." Flamel said stiffly.
"You are taking my accusations personal. That's not my problem, Mr. Flamel. I did not ask for your help, though I am grateful for it. Until I met Remus Lupin, McGonagall and Poppy, any time I asked for help I was hurt. I don't care about you or your feelings. If you can set those aside perhaps you can learn something from me. Or rather my biology."
Flamel turned back. "You are an irritant I don't want mixed up with."
Poppy gasped. And Albus cleared his throat. "Nic…maybe-
"Oh please, is that all you've got? You know all your biography's drone on and on about how nice you are and how considerate. You think you can hurt my feelings? You can keep your book." Harry didn't spare him another glance.
Harry got out of his bed and stretched not minding the tense room. It rather amused him. Of all the things about Harry the one pure pleasure he had claim to was stirring the pot.
"Albus." Flamel said.
"Well, you know he's got a bit of a point, Nic. They do go on rather long about your kindness. Maybe a confundus here or there? Who would ever know? Because I know you have a bit of a short fuse."
Harry snorted.
"Shh….are you trying to pick a fight!" Poppy hissed to him.
Now there was an idea.
"I challenge you to a duel, Mr. Flamel! No wands allowed."
Flamel laughed out right. "You think you can keep up with me without your wand? I taught myself how to do wandless magic for decades!"
"Then you have nothing to lose. And you'll get a sincere apology from yours truly." Harry offered. Yes, he was feeling much better. And he certainly wasn't bored anymore.
"Name the place and time, Mr. Potter!"
When he saw the devilish smile on Harry's face, he did feel a flicker of uncertainty.
At 2pm the great hall was cleared of its' tables and the Potter's stood off to one end of the arranged platform. Kylie was beside herself with glee.
"I'm so jealous, but also kind of mad you didn't share those studies with me. Where were you hiding the books!"
"That would be telling, Kylie. Duds, what do you make of him?"
"He a bit arrogant, but not mean spirited. He's not dressed very fancy, so he'll have good mobility. He's frail Harry. Can you see it?" Duds said showing Harry how to look within the glamour surrounding Flamel.
"I suspected actually. He didn't prefect his stone; so, his body is still aging. He's like 600+."
"Yeah, but do you really want to break an old man?"
"Is that a serious question?"
Duds rolled his eyes. "Do you want a bunch of our classmates to see you break an old man?"
"I don't care." Harry assured him.
"What about Draco?" Kylie offered looking at her nails.
"Well, he's not here is he?"
"How do you know? There's ton of people in here."
"I would know. Anyway, do not interfere. This is going to be fun."
Duds and Kylie smiled. "Break a leg."
The two Slytherins beside them looked alarmed by the statement which made the potter trio laugh.
Remus stood tensely beside Minerva, Poppy, and Albus.
"How can you allow this?" Minerva bemoaned.
"Are we still asking that question at this point? When it concerns the potters?" Remus couldn't help but point out.
"Well, I'll be here for Nic…" Poppy assured them.
"Nic? Why-
"Harry does not pick battles he can't win, Albus. Like Remus said to me before. The Potters are ruthless and powerful. You have to make them care; they will not on their own." Minerva explained.
Harry approached the center as Flamel did. The bell rang and they bowed.
Harry watched Flamel's feet for a few moments, swaying back and forth. They were both hesitant to strike first; but Harry was the most patient child alive.
Sure, enough ten seconds later Flamel tried to wrap his ankles up in a rope. Harry merely slowed down the spell and stepped over the rope. With a wave of his hand, it slid off the platform.
A gasp echoed around the room.
"Go easy on him, Harry!" A kid shouted from the crowd. The very idea someone would say that made Flamel's blood boil.
He summoned a live snake and sent it on the attack.
Harry spoke in parseltongue, though he didn't know it at the time. There was dead silence in the great hall while the snake appeared to listen to Harry and turn on Flamel.
"How-
Harry flicked two fingers to the side and Flamel rotated clockwise in an involuntary cartwheel. Harry rather liked the laughter and continued.
Flamel eventually got out of the loop and shot raw magic into Harry's body.
This was something he'd been reading up on since the shop keeper slid the book in his bag.
Magic absorption.
Harry leaned into the magic, the spell was to immobilize him, but with his acceptance of it Harry could change its course.
The abundance of magic in his system was incredible. Harry smirked and threw out his hand above his head.
Flamel twisted in a circle and fell to his knees. It was a horrific sight for all those in the great hall. This was a spell of Harry's creation. It wasn't deadly, or painful.
Flamel's arms tied at the wrist behind his back and his head titled back while tears ran down his face.
"I…I forfeit." He whispered brokenly.
"Harry? What have you done!" Poppy asked looking Flamel over.
Harry moved her gently away and touched his shoulder. All at once the spell was released and Flamel let his head drop into his hands.
Albus scrutinized Harry from afar and he wasn't alone. They couldn't believe an 11-year-old could shield magic from a powerful wizard like Flamel. They didn't know he actually Absorbed it.
"Harry, I need to know what you did? I've never seen anything like this."
"Like what? I have done nothing to him. The spell I performed forced him to know the greatest pain he caused someone he loved. Nothing has happened to him. It is a spell of my own creation, and he just needs some chocolate." Harry supplied.
And of course, that was when Draco came in. Harry immediately felt his body tense and his dragon bristle under his skin.
The other Potters and Remus picked up on this change in him though they didn't understand why. All Harry could see what the mark on his neck. The mark his mouth made, the mark…before he knew it he was next to Draco.
"Harry. Calm down. You are in control. Not him."
He wasn't afraid Harry would hurt him; but he didn't need the entire school to know any of their business.
Harry sucked in a breath and vanished.
Flamel accepted help from Poppy and Albus before agreeing to send along his notes of elder dragons. He also specified for Harry to never speak to him again.
Remus not so subtly motioned for the Potter siblings to follow him out into the hall.
"Do you have-
"It's me. Something happened but Harry and I didn't know what it meant." Draco said walking up to their rendezvous.
He showed them his neck with a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Oh my lord. Did you kiss him! Tell me! Have you kissed him!" Kylie said clutching his arm to a painful point.
"Yes! Let off a bit please!"
"Fuck! That jerk! I was supposed to get my first kiss first!" Kylie stomped her foot and steam came off the top of her head.
"Well, sorry to break it to you, but you're last." Duds smirked.
Kylie turned around slowly. "Who did you kiss, you bastard!"
"I'm not telling you! If I do, I might not be able to do it again!" He chuckled.
Kylie loosed a growl and Remus tried to bring them back to the focal point.
"Okay, what else happened Draco?"
"Nothing. It freaked us out, so we went to sleep. He…seemed to really like the taste of my blood though. It was super weird looking back."
"I have to go run. Update me later." Kylie groaned and vanished.
"I'll look into it. Poppy mentioned something-
"No, you don't have to now. I spoke to my parents. Harry can't be around me right now; so, you'll have to tell him this. My family line goes back ages and when the elder dragons were living, they had companions. Not exactly mates but close and that is what's happened to us. His dragon has claimed me as something. It's not Harry's fault, neither of us knew what was happening."
"Well how do you break this thing?"
"You can't. It functions as a curse or infection." Draco said dryly. Remus was a teacher and he had to tell him that?
"Not all curses are unbreakable. Mine wasn't." He said mostly to himself.
"So, I'm going to find Harry and let him know. By the way Draco, you missed Harry making Nicolas Flamel cry." Duds said seeing the conversation dying.
Duds found Harry by the lake throwing stones.
"Is he okay?"
"Yeah, he's fine. Your dragon went and mated you guys, though. Tough break man. So you like dudes?"
"I like people. Sometimes. I don't care if they are girl or boy. What does it matter?" Harry tossed the stones with more force.
"Kylie's right pissed because she hasn't had her first kiss yet. We both have."
Harry whipped around. "Who've you been kissing!"
"Her name is Susan. But she swore me to secrecy because if people talk about it, it will get back to her aunt and she's in law enforcement. I'm not sure why that matters but it seemed important to her, and I'd like to keep kissing her so…."
Harry let out a laugh. "I never thought much about it you know. It just kind of…happened."
"Yeah. Same. You know Harry, for as tough as the three of us are it's also our weakness. I spent two days searching for a motive Susan had to be nice to me. And when she kissed me, I still didn't get it. All three of us are so used to not being liked or wanted that we can't comprehend when people do."
Harry listened carefully to his speech. "How do we avoid this weakness then Dud?"
"Harry, you cannot avoid all weaknesses. You must have figured that out by now. When I saw you like that…? I told myself I had to try to explain this to you."
"Try what? What are you talking about?"
Duds looked at Harry sadly. "You don't remember. I thought that might be the case. When you were stuck between forms and going through all that pain; you were asking for everyone to kill you. You were begging us all to kill you and take away your pain because you are always in pain. Mate, it was the most horrible thing to hear and see."
Harry's face flooded with heat. He did what? Now everyone's reaction made more sense to him.
"Then Draco came. He walked up to you and held you like a baby. He said something to you, but none of us could hear it. Then you cried for a long time until you managed to complete one form. Kylie was screaming just as loud as you, but she couldn't get to you. There was some sort of shield preventing her. It may have been one of the teachers but we both think it was you."
Harry didn't know what to say.
"She would have fallen out of sync too. That's what was happening. Since part of my body was broken …it was a clusterfuck of magic. Kylie and I…we are on the same wavelength. Have you noticed it?"
He nodded with a smile. "You mean how you brush your teeth in the same rotation, how you tap the same foot, how you sleep heart on heart? Yeah, I've noticed."
Harry smile fell at the end. "Not anymore, but Draco has helped a lot. It…still isn't the same though. She has a good friend in Hermione, doesn't she?"
"I'm sure they'll be friends forever and death couldn't do them part. Draco seems to have accepted this thing; He didn't look put out by it. What's going on Harry?"
"I don't know. I'm just still out of sorts I guess."
Duds turned Harry to face him. "We didn't get off good in the beginning; but I would literally kill for you. You don't have to keep anything from me. Even if its naked stuff with Draco."
Harry wrinkled his nose. "There's been no naked stuff with Draco. I'm staying away from him for now. I just know I'm not going to sleep well."
Duds nodded. "I would of course offer but it doesn't help you like you need. Our magics too dissimilar."
"Cracked open a dictionary, didn't you?"
Duds hit his shoulder. "I read too you know. Plus, Susan is smart and I've got to be able to keep up when she's going on about things. I would love to know what shield you made that was invisible during that duel, though."
Harry sighed. "There was no shield. I'll send you the info tonight. When you get it, you have to put a secrecy lock on it immediately, that not even Kylie could guess."
"Harry….what did you do?"
"I didn't do anything besides learn thankyouverymuch."
"Likely story. Wanna swim?"
It was sunny enough out and it sounded fun.
"I've never swam in this lake, but seeing how it's not called the forbidden lake, it should be fine right?"
"Makes sense to me. I bet I can do ten laps first!" Duds transfigured his shorts and ripped his robes and shirt off. Harry was a bit slower, still sore beyond belief.
The warm was chilly, but his body got used to it quickly. It was only the second week of September so the warmth was lingering a little.
For a couple hours Harry and Duds swam and raced each other. It was the first one on one time they had together since they discovered Kylie. That that made him think of his Aunt Petunia for the first time in a while. He wondered if she was dead in a ditch or alive somewhere.
When they tired out Duds told him to get something to eat.
"You know the same goes for you right? You can tell me anything."
Harry did something he didn't do often. He hugged his cousin and said thank you.
Harry appeared in the kitchens were the elves were having some sort of crisis.
"You musnt Wixie!"
"But it will help!"
"No, the stone is precious!"
"But-
"No!"
"Wixie! You get back here!"
Harry watched in awe as the two female house elves started to brawl. They weren't pulling punches either.
One small elf who must be young brought him his favorite ham and cheese sandwich with orange juice. He watched the fight with curiosity but figured he wasn't an elf so he didn't have a right to get in their business.
"If you is listen I will say that I'm not wanting the stone! Another is!" Wixie whimpered as a finger cracked.
"Who?"
Wixie kicked the other elf off her with enough force she flew into the banister separating the kitchens in dining table.
"It is the man from the forest! I tell you about him! Lots! But you no listen! Ever! Now I say I take it for safe keeping you fight me!" Wixie defended herself rather well Harry thought.
"You did not tell me of a forest man!"
"I did! You liar tart!"
Harry jolted because that almost sounded like an insult.
The elf in question took it as such and screeched. "I is a tart! You is a tart!"
"I is not having 16 bairns!"
All the elves gasped whispering amongst each other.
"You is inbred anyway!" The elf threw back.
"You stupid! We all inbred!"
There was a round of laughter and Harry very much thought he shouldn't be here.
"I is not a tart. You is a liar and there is no forest man!"
"There is! He drinks blood of uni's!"
Harry frowned. Could uni's be unicorns?
Another gasp went around.
"That is being wrong!"
"That is what I is been saying! You no listening! I try to tell Dumbly but he is not listening either!"
"You told dumbly and he is not listen?"
"Yes!" Wixie seemed at her wits end with the conversation and her many broken fingers.
"Why does forest man want the stone!"
"You is stupid! The stone make you live forever!"
Harry could not believe how long it took him to figure out what they were talking about. He felt truly stupid for a moment.
"I still think yous is lying."
"I still think yous is a tart! Go to the forest on you own! You see then!" Wixie threw a can of starch at the elf's head.
Once wixie was gone the elves got back to work and the young one got Harry's attention.
"Is you needing an elf? You is magic enough for one! I would love to be your elf!"
"My elf? People have elves?"
"Oh yes, that is how its always been. I was born two weeks ago!"
Harry gaped at that.
"Why do you want to be my elf? Are you not happy here?"
The elf looked embarrassed. "I am not like the other elves. They can tell and I try and pretend."
Harry was stunned by her perfect enunciation.
"Why are you different?"
"I don't know. There was one other like me, but they killed him. He was my brother. I don't know why I can talk and think properly, but I can't pretend forever. I'll die here."
She looked just like any other elf though much cleaner.
"Very well. What do I need to do?"
"You have to accept your title."
"And how do I do that?"
She slipped a paper along the table, and it had clearly legible handwriting with instructions. He never saw an elf write.
"And you just had this ready?"
"I've been watching you since I was born. You are never mean to us just because we are elves."
Harry followed the instructions on the paper which included announcing his full name and acknowledgement of his title as Lord Potter. Once the words left his mouth a ring appeared on his right hand.
Just a fast a letter appeared beside him to inform him of his acceptance. His mouth dropped open when he read that he was now fully responsible for all his properties, investments, and Wizengamot chair. It even had a meeting time to go over an itinerary for the month of October.
"You might have mentioned this."
She smiled. "I didn't know. I didn't have time to check into what James Potter's house duties were."
Harry jolted hearing his father's name out loud. No one ever said it. He never said it….
He took her hand and sealed the agreement to bond her to his magic.
"What's your name?"
"I don't have one yet. It isn't until two years old they give you one."
"I happen to have a wonderful cousin who is great at picking names." Harry grinned and took her hand.
Harry was always able to know where Kylie was, or rather his magic did. So when he sought out for her he didn't pay attention to where he was going exactly.
He appeared in a cave. The bottom of it had tons of bones and filth caked onto the ground.
"Kylie?"
"Harry! What are you doing here?"
"I- where are you?"
"I don't know. How long have I been gone?"
Harry's brain fumbled to keep up.
"Wait? I was coming to look for you. How long have you been here? Duds and I were swimming…when did you see him last?"
Kylie's grimy face appeared through a grate in the ground. She was below him, in worse conditions than he was.
"That was right after the duel! I was mad because-
"Right the kissing! That was 3 hours ago! Where is Hermione?"
"She's hurt here next to me. I wanted to go for a run, and she asked to come, so she rode on my back. Something tackled us and her leg is broken. I'm not strong enough to heal it so I made her sleep."
Her voice shook with barely contained fear. Or fury.
"Kylie…I'm so sorry. Hang on."
"Can you get down there?" Harry asked the elf.
"I can. You want me to bring them both up?"
"Yes, please."
The elf smiled brightly and did so.
Kylie clung to Harry the moment they were on the same level.
"Have you seen the person who brought you here?"
"No. No one for ages."
"Can you take us out of here?"
The elf shook her head. "No, there is deep magic preventing us from breaking the surface. But you were able to get in, Harry."
Kylie was stunned by the elf's English but trust Harry to find the odd one out.
Hermione's leg was turning purple, so she knew they had to hurry.
"Do you need strength, magic? I'll do it; her leg Harry."
Harry saw it then and blanched.
"Raise a shield, but don't let it drop, keep building it at normal strength." Harry instructed.
Kylie took Hermione's hand. "Okay."
She pushed out the shield as Harry touched her leg. Her breath choked as her shield was diminished; but she kept building it over and over until Harry was able to apparate them out.
He even managed to get them in the infirmary.
"Harry, what was that!?"
"I'll explain later. We need to help-
"Oh I know!" She fumed and gently lifted Hermione up onto a bed.
Poppy came bustling out wiping her mouth and froze.
"What-
"Her leg was broken from a fall. Please."
Poppy looked at the leg and then at Kylie.
"This has been-
"I know damn well how long it's been because I was there while she cried and I'm the one who put her to sleep so she wouldn't feel it! I told you how it happened so stop standing there and fix her!"
Poppy sighed. "How long, Kylie. An hour?"
"Three and going." She could not completely remove the growl in her voice when she answered.
Poppy wisely chose to get the injectable skeleton-grow with a calming potion.
Kylie watched with tight knuckles on the bed rail as Poppy administered the potions and injection. When the purple receded, Kylie let out a relieved moan.
"Oh, thank god." She wiped her tears and turned to Harry.
"We need to go see Remus."
She gave Hermione one last look and they vanished.
A/N: That is not the last of Flamel. And I will have the next chapter soon to explain Hermione/Kylie situation. Thank you for the review and alerts!- Mayjane
