Harry was walking just behind Professor McGonagall, letting his head hanging down. Of course, he knew that if it came to it, he could count on that Callie had recorded what happened before. So, he will use it to justify his actions.
"Mister Potter, let me tell you one thing. Never did I saw someone who was this proficient on the broom when they climbed it for the first time. Now there is someone I like you to meet." Minerva was still walking in front of him. Harry was now sure that there will be no serious consequences for his flying, so he let the breath out that he was holding. Soon they arrived in front of the classroom for charms, as Professor McGonagall opened the door and peeked inside.
"Excuse me Professor Flitwick. Could I speak with Mister Wood please for a moment?" – "Of course, Professor McGonagall. Mister Wood, if you would go with her, please. I will see that you will get notes of today's lesson." One tall boy was soon leaving the room, curious why he was called with his head of house. The colors of his tie told Harry that he was also a Gryffindor. As they got into an empty classroom, Professor McGonagall introduced the two students to each other, telling Harry that Oliver Wood was the captain of the Quidditch House team. She also told them what she saw in the grounds where Harry had his flying lesson.
"He caught this Rememberall out of the air, just shy of it hitting the ground. So, I think he would make a great seeker for the team. What do you think, Mister Wood?" Oliver Wood was walking around Harry, mustering him up and down. "Well, he has the build of one, but he would need a better broom then the one the school provides. A Comet 260 would be nice, or even one of the new Nimbus brooms. But he needs one broom of his own. Now there lies the problem, as first years are not allowed to own one for themselves. How should we go about it?" – "I will ask Headmaster Dumbledore to make one exception of the rules, or we could just lend him a broom until the second year. We need a better team than last year; we were crushed by Slytherin. Now Mister Potter I want you to give it your all, or else I will overthink your punishment for your action today." Harry nodded and asked Oliver, if he could tell him how someone would play as a seeker in a Quidditch Team. The agreed on a time the next day for showing Harry directly, after the one obligatory training session with John. As they walked back to the great hall for dinner, they talked about the rules for Quidditch as this was a theoretical question for how to play the game. Oliver also told him who was all in the team for the house.
As they arrived in the great hall, Harry almost saw immediately Ron and Hermione in a heated debate about what happened to him.
"And I tell you, he would be lucky if he had no punishment for his flying as Madame Hooch had forbidden it." – "Well, then what about Malfoy? He was not even called for what he did. If this school treat all the students the same, then that snake should also be punished just the same." Harry sneaked to them and smirked all the way. He did catch the curious faces of Fred and George, as they wondered what he planned for them.
As he arrived by those two, he stood back up and tried his most pompous voice. "Oh, you think I would be punished Weasley? And you, Granger, do you want Potter to be thrown from the school?" Both Ron and Hermione yelped with surprise as Harry stood between them, one hand behind his back and the other by his chin. Soon he laughed and told them what happened as they sat down to dinner.
While Ron wanted to know more, Hermione felt a bit left out of the conversation as she did know nothing from Quidditch. She still remembered what Harry told her in the beginning of the week, but she had a hard time to talk with the others of her house, not mentioning the other houses. She tried, but somehow, she could only talk with Harry in a normal fashion. As he was now talking with Ron, she felt a bit lonely. So, she just began to eat, thinking about the homework they had to do. There she put a reminder for herself to ask the others how far they had it done until now.
"Enjoying your last meal here Potter? When is the train leaving with you?" Draco was waltzing over to them, doing so like he owned the whole castle. Harry was almost groaning, but he kept it together and just turned around. He had a little talk with Oliver to keep it a secret to the other houses that he would be the new seeker for Gryffindor, so he just did tell a white lie.
"Well, if you must know Mister Malfoy, I am not expelled. And I would ask you kindly to let me in peace for a while. Or do you have now the courage to stand before me and talk to me? As we were in the air, I could see your fear." – "Pfff, right as if would be afraid of you. How about we settle this in a duel? Just the two of us. Tonight, midnight in the trophy room."
Ron stood up and was almost ready to tell Draco that Harry would accept, but Harry beat him to it. "Well, Mister Malfoy, we have our obligatory training tomorrow, how about we go to Mister Wulf and ask him if we could make a race at the end of the lesson to see who would be better? With this, there will not be any rule breaking anymore, like you did today before all our year mates. That leaves the question, why are you still here if you thought I would be expelled? Did you receive such a punishment?" Draco was now on the backfoot. He did not plan for this response. So, he just walked off to his table, Crabbe and Goyle just behind him. Harry sat back down and began to eat, telling Callie to notify John about the arrangements for tomorrows training.
"Why did do that? You know that he wanted to challenge you to a wizarding duel?" Ron asked Harry, astounded by his reaction to a clearly angry Malfoy. "Yes, I know, but the time he wanted for the duel just screamed trap all over it. So why should I just accept it? I am not that stupid to risk an expulsion once more today." Harry answered, a bit peeved that Ron seemed to have wanted to answer for him. "And besides, we did not learn how we should duel, so why bother? The training tomorrow will be an even playing field I think, so that will be more decisive." Harry began again to eat, ignoring Ron's astounded face. Hermione meanwhile began to admire Harry for his logical thinking. He would think things through to a conclusion, if this conclusion was not to his liking, he would think again for another answer.
Soon, they were finished with their dinner, standing back up and walking back to the common room. Hermione was walking behind the other two, still not engaging in the conversation as she thought that it was still about Quidditch. In the common room, she took her bag and walked to a table, ready to begin her homework. To her surprise, she heard Ron asking Harry why he wanted to begin with the homework. Afterall, they still had 2 days for doing them.
"Well, you see Ron, I want to have them done before I get overwhelmed by them. Why don't you join in? Believe me, when you are finished you will have a calm piece of mind while you play chess or just laze around. Now if you are looking for me, I am over there with Hermione and study." He sat down right beside Hermione, letting her yelp once again at the suddenness of his action. He pulled out his books and notes from the lesson and was now looking at her. "Well, with what should we begin? I think that the essay for potion is the hardest, what do you think?" Hermione was still shocked, but she calmed down fast and nodded. And so, they studied for Potion and Transfiguration, getting it almost done as a dormmate of Hermione, Parvati Patil, was sitting on the other side of Hermione with her friend Lavender Brown, asking her if she could help them a bit as they were struggling with the homework.
Harry was now smiling, his plan worked. Already he saw those two girls talking with Hermione not just about the homework, but also about her interests and what she thought about the other students. As they finished for today, Harry reminded them that they had that one training lesson the next day so they should go to sleep a bit early. They would need the energy, he assured them.
"So, you think you know what Mister Wulf has prepared for us?" Lavender asked him, thinking about what she could wear tomorrow. Because it was not official school, they would not need to show up in uniform. "Well, if it is like the PE lessons in my old school, it will be a bit tiring in the beginning." Hermione remembered her old school. She also had her thoughts about the right sportswear. Harry just nodded and wished them a good night sleep.
The next morning, Harry woke up early to get a little warm up before the training. He found out that the obstacle courses were free, so everyone could use them when they had time. As he worked his way through the difficulties, Callie kept watch so they would not be surprised. Cortana told them that they are allowed their little Race with Draco, but they should not give too much away. So, Harry had to hold himself back, as not to show everyone that he could beat even the 5th years on their course. As he walked up to the third, Callie told him that they had an observer and highlighted him in the windows of Hogwarts. As he turned, he saw that it was Professor McGonagall looking down to the ground. He waved up to her and walked the course for 3rd years, to get a feeling for it.
Soon he was walking back to the common room, to shower before he would go to breakfast and then walk with his year mates back to the grounds to begin the training with John. Minerva was walking down the corridor, as Harry came around the corner.
"Ah, Mister Potter. It is nice to see you up so early on a Saturday. How was your first week in the school?" She smiled at him, glad that he had the respect to hold and answer her question.
"Hello Professor. Thanks, I had a very good week, if you discount potions. I don't know, but Professor Snape seems to have something against me personal, because I don't think I did bad in his lesson. Or are the rumors true that he favors his house the most?" – "Ah, yes. Professor Snape was always a special case about other students than his own house. But he always teaches good potions, or his favorites tell this at least. I heard different stories of course, but those students were not the best to begin with. Now I think you need to go shower; you smell a bit. We see us at breakfast, I presume. Oh, and on a personal note, if we two are alone, you can call me Minerva. After all, I visited you in Kear Mohen, I hope you still remember."
Harry smiled, of course he remembered. Never would he forget the fight between Minerva and Yennefer about how to raise a baby in a castle. Geralt kept teasing his wife about it every time he could, because he had to build almost the whole courtyard from scratch afterwards. But Minerva repaired it with her magic and agreed with Yennefer to disagree. And as Doctor Halsey came from her laboratory and began to complain about the noise which did wake up Harry again, both were silent until the Doctor was back down to care for Harry's wellbeing. Meanwhile John was outside training with the firearms of this world, getting a felling for it. He did not notice anything about it.
Harry said goodbye to Minerva and was once again walking to the common room, to get a shower before his breakfast. As he entered through the portrait of the fat lady, he was not really surprised as he saw Hermione on a sofa, reading a book. She was so concentrated on it; she did not notice Harry going up to his dorm to shower and change some clothes. As he entered the dorm, he saw that Neville was already waking up, wondering where Harry would be as his bed was empty. By the sound of the opening door, he turned around and saw Harry a bit sweaty going to the bathroom. Neville surmised that Harry would have gone for a small walk, so he shrugged once more with his shoulders.
Soon, Harry stepped out of the bathroom, gathering his sportswear out of his trunk. He decided for some comfortable sneakers, short pants, and a t-shirt. It was still warm outside, so he would leave his other clothes back, thinking that he would not need them until after Halloween. While he got his clothes on, Ron, Seamus and Dean were waking up. They saw Harry standing there, already awake, and ready. Dean, being a muggleborn knows what this sport lesson would mean and clothed himself as he did back in primary school. As Harry was now leaving the bedroom, they others stood up and began to prepare for today's special lesson.
Harry was now back in the common room, seeing that Hermione was still on the sofa. He was walking over to her, now studying her a bit closer. He found her reading a history book, one that he knew now he featured to. She was so engrossed in it; she still did not notice him standing behind her.
"So, something written about me I should know about?" Hermione was once again up the air, yelping in shock. As she once more got her breathing under control, Harry smiled at her. "You should learn not to concentrate too much on the books, so you forget your surroundings. If someone is not as nice as I am, they could prank you no stop." Harry explained to her, beginning to move in direction of the entrance of the common room, signing to Hermione that they should go down for breakfast. As they walked down the stairs, Hermione explained about what she had read in the common room. It seems that the stories about him were a bit exaggerated, for example he did not know that he was hyped to a similar magical prowess second only to Merlin. Callie found that funny and began to call him King Arthur, like the legendary British king.
They walked into the great hall for their breakfast, as they noticed that almost every first year was already here and eating. Some were speaking about what they could be doing today, after the lesson with John of course. Harry sat down by his house table and took some eggs and a cup of orange juices. He told the girls that they should eat light for this breakfast, so he will too. While he was eating, he wondered how they got all this food up here. He then remembered the letter he got in his first day, mentioning house elves. He made a mental note to investigate those elves, he was sure that something was written in the large library of Hogwarts. As he first saw it, he wondered how it fitted inside the school.
Ron and the others were joining them too, still half asleep. Hermione meanwhile was now talking with Parvati and Lavender, explaining to the magical raised kids what PE in the muggleschool was. "So, we have to run, climb and sometime crouch? That sound tedious. Do we have at least some games sometimes? I heard some muggleborn boys talking about football (A/N: Soccer for the americans), that sounded fun to watch." Lavender said, still wondering how they would do today.
"Maybe we will, after all just training can hurt the body more then not training at all. You need to unwind sometimes, so a friendly game should be possible." Hermione surmised, reaching for a cup of coffee. "How can you drink that bitter stuff? I tried it, and I needed almost the same amount of sugar until it was palatable for me." Hermione laughed at that, telling her that she was used to it now but in the beginning she had the same problem. "But now, it helps me to keep awake if I have to. I mean, the studies we do don't do them themselves." – "Please don't talk about schoolwork now, we have the weekend. Hey Harry, would you like to play chess after this lesson with Mister Wulf? If you don't know how, I could teach you." Ron was still eating with his mouth half full.
Harry was just shaking his head. Why Ron did not have some decency would remain a mystery to him. Even with these many brothers he had, some manners should still be expected. Ron, taking his headshaking for a no, just shrugged, and told him that he will wait for another time then. After all had eaten their breakfast, they were now on the way to the training grounds. They joined with the others first years, just the Slytherin were missing right now. Harry just assumed that they would be already there.
John was already waiting for the first years, in his relaxed position in front of a table. Next to him were the head boy and girl, as they had to check if every first year was assembled. Until now, they had to get some stragglers from the dorms, but mostly all were present. As he saw the students coming down the grounds, he nodded to the students by his side so begin the check. He was not in his armor, as he had to show the students how they had to go through the obstacle course he had set up for them. And in his MJLNOIR Mark VI Armor he would be to fast for them to grasp how they should move safely.
"Good day students. I am your instructor for this special lesson. As you are now in my care for the duration of today's training, you need to follow every instruction I give you for your own safety. Understood?" The only *Yes, Sir* he heard was from Harry, obviously. "I did not hear you. I want a clear *Yes Sir* from every student present. Am I understood?" he asked louder, getting a better response this time. John was now looking to the Head boy and Girl, seeing them a bit embarrassed as it seemed that just a small portion from Slytherin has shown up. Even all from Ravenclaw were present, and those were normally who had to be dragged to this lesson from the library. "Please go and get the stragglers, we will wait 30 minutes, if they are not here by then I will report it to the head of houses as well as the headmaster. They will then choose about a punishment. Tell them that." The two older students nodded and sprinted up the slope of the grounds to the castle.
"Now please watch as I show you how you have to handle this course." He walked over to the first bars that were mounted in different elevations to the ground and crouched under the lower ones and jumps over the ones that were higher up. He heard already some groans from those who thought it would be the other way around. He then balanced over a pole parallel to the ground with his arms outstretched for better balance. He did it deliberate slow so the students could see the correct technique to move over this obstacle. As he arrived on a wall with rope's that he began to climb up. He told them while he climbed that it would be easier for them if the put the rope between their feet and pulled them up before pulling themselves further up the rope. After he jumped down the other side of the wall, he began to jump between car tires to the finish of the course. He said that he wanted to see them getting the knees as far up their body as they could.
"You understand everything? Any Question?" Again, he heard Harry the loudest as they answered *Yes Sir, No Sir* but he noticed that the most were those raised by muggle parents. Some were even smiling, thinking that they would play soldiers for today. He just could guess of which parents were in the military of their country and took their training back home and shown the kids what I meant to be disciplined. He began to explain to the students who still were wondering about the procedure, as the Head boy was returning with some of the Slytherin, including a sulking Draco Malfoy.
"Why do we have to be here? On a Saturday no less." He moaned, looking to the others to see who agreed with him. "I mean, why do we have to exercise, if our magic can do that work for us?"
"Mister Malfoy, allow me that one question for you. What would you do if your wand or your magic are lost for a time? Would you just sit down and wait until either you die, or you are rescued?" John was now walking over to him, after explained the other students what was unclear to them. Draco was in a loss for words, never even thinking about this situation. "Well, because that would never happen to me, why should I think about it? Now, tell me why we are here again?" – "Because this one lesson is mandatory, Mister Malfoy. Headmaster Dumbledore told you that by the entrance ceremony. Now, because you were not here on time, you will do 10 push-ups and then watch the other going trough the obstacle course. And I mean every student your head boy had to drag here. Begin now." John raised his voice, demanding respect for his person.
The stragglers were looking in puzzlement what push-up were, as Harry was coming over to them. "Mister Wulf, Sir. Should we maybe demonstrate what push-ups are? Only those raised by non-magical people or friends with those would know what that is." Harry was standing behind John in a relaxed position. "You have a point there, Mister Potter. Head-boy, I give you the floor to show what push-ups are. And watch them if they do the 10 correctly. Now the others begin with the obstacle course. As soon you have done it 5 times, I see your obligatory time as fulfilled and you are allowed to leave." John turned around to watch the first years going over the obstacles, while Harry warmed himself up. He did even push-ups together with the late arrivers.
A bit out of breath Draco was standing back up, angrier than before. He watched as Harry was jogging over to the obstacle course, ready to laugh at him as Draco was sure, he would just embarrass himself like the others. He looked away sure that he would also ace this lesson, not noticing Crabbe and Goyle observing Harry closely.
Harry himself was holding back, not wanting to discourage the others by overshadow them because he was trained in this course already back in Kear Mohen. After his first round, he watched how his classmates were doing, pleased that everyone on the course were giving their all. Ron was just shy behind Neville, who was not so clumsy on this course as he was on the broom. He climbed like a little monkey up the robes, showing feats of strength that had Harry wonder if the magic inside Neville was helping him without his input. He would do investigate that. John was noticing this to, letting Cortana, through his neural implant, know to tell this Doctor Halsey. Maybe she could find out how that works.
Hermione meanwhile was struggling, never being good in sports to begin with. But as she crossed the finish of the course for the first time, she was proud of herself for not giving up midway the course to catch her breath. She walked back to the beginning slowly, readying herself for her second round. It was this moment that she heard Malfoy talking, telling his friends that if some lower muggleborn could do this, they could do this with their eyes closed. Soon, every first year was on the course, climbing and jumping over the obstacles.
After every student had done the five laps over the obstacle course, some had already left as soon they crossed the finish line. Only the Gryffindor were still watching the Slytherin who arrived late doing the last laps. After some collapsed at the finish, which then were pulled up and send to the infirmary wing because of exhaustion, Draco was now standing at the end, hand on his knees and breathing hard. He felt humiliated, not even the muggleborn were struggling like he did. Still, he held his head high, still in the though that it was because he was at least faster than the others.
"Well, that was no fun. Now, Potter you were talking about a race?" Draco was still breathing hard, but he did not want to show weakness to Harry. He just shrugged and began to warm up again after looking to John, who nodded and pointed to the start.
"Mister Malfoy, I was informed about your arrangement with Mister Potter. Because of safety reason, you will run the course after each other. You will go first as soon you are ready. I will time your run with this stopwatch. Understood?" Draco just nodded, looking over to Crabbe and Goyle, giving them a sign to help him with magic and interrupt Harry. They nodded and took their wands out as stealthy as they could. Draco began to run, having cleared the first obstacle with ease. At the balancing pole he noticed that he was held up straight thanks to his friends and grinned about the easiness of this task. As he climbed up the wall, he felt suddenly heavier than before. As he turned around the rope while climbing, he saw that Crabbe and Goyle were now staring up to John, who was standing between them. Did he notice them using magic? Well, he would be soon finished, so he did not think about it too much. After he finished, he was once again breathing hard, but was still pleased with himself.
"1 minute, 25 seconds. To be honest, it was to be expected, but even some girls were faster. Now, Mister Potter? As I saw how you handled the course, if you do not beat him by more than 10 seconds, I will give the win to Mister Malfoy. Understood?" Some gasps were heard, even some grumbling from Draco. Did he really think he would need that much of a handicap in this competition? 10 seconds are a lot. "He, do you really think he can beat me, even by one second?" he sounded like he felt, high and mighty.
John just looked down at the boy, letting him know that he should be silent now. But it seemed that he did not get the hint. Harry meanwhile gave his affirmative and walked over to the start. John gave the signal to start, as he pushed the button on the stopwatch.
Yes, Harry thought that 10 seconds were a steep handicap, but he could do it. He began to sprint to the first obstacle and hurdled himself under it, only to stand back up and jumping over the higher bar. When he landed again, he began to run to the balancing pole and almost flew over it. Soon he was at the wall, grabbing the rope after a jump and pulling himself up. While he climbed, Callie told him that John was watching the Slytherins, as it seemed that they wanted to sabotage his run. He just shrugged while he fell down the wall and began to jump between the tires. When he reached his finish, he heard the click from John's stopwatch. But thanks to Callie he knew that he had done it in 1 minute and 10 seconds, so he took one deep breath and stood relaxed beside the course.
"Well done Mister Potter. You were 15 seconds faster, so you win this race." John turned to the students who was still here and watching what would happen. "Now, this concludes the mandatory lesson. If you want to make some more laps, I will stay here until all are gone." – "HE CHEATED." Malfoy was screaming, not believing that he was beaten with that margin. John walked over to him and showed the stopwatch. "Mister Malfoy, let me tell you that I did not start later or finished the timing earlier than Mister Potter were on the course, the same as you. And for your information, normally I would asked for 20 seconds from the challenger, but your friends helped you with a spell and yes, I saw them." - "CAN YOU PROOF THAT?" Malfoy was getting angrier, not noticing how the other Slytherin began to back up away from him. The reason was that they saw Professor Snape walking down with the headmaster, both looking stern.
"What is the Problem, Mister Wulf?" Severus Snape was standing between John and Draco, hoping that Draco would calm down a bit. Draco meanwhile was still angry and showed no sign to calm down any time soon. "THEY CHEATED; HE DID NOT MEASURE THE TIME OF POTTER RIGHT" he screamed once more, drawing all eyes to him. Harry meanwhile was walking back to the start of the course, ready to run it once more. "If you don't believe me, Mister Malfoy I would suggest you see for yourself." John gave Draco the stopwatch, going over to Harry to stand beside him.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, I am asking permission for Harry to use all his ability's. Let these kids see what one can achieve if they trained their whole live." – "Permission granted, Mister Wulf. Harry, if you would hand him your glasses, so they will not be damaged?" Dumbledore was now walking alongside the course, wondering how Harry progressed in these 10 years since he gave Harry figuratively to a pack of wolves.
Harry handed his glasses to John and crouched down, ready to start. His eyes fixated on the obstacles; he did not notice his friends tremble in anticipation for what was to come. He looked now different, determined on proofing them that he could do it. His muscles ready to pounce, he waited for Draco to give him the signal.
Draco was standing still, flabbergasted on how this situation evolved. Severus beside him tock the stopwatch from him, as he was trustworthy to stop it correctly. "Alright Potter, show us what you are really made of. GO" Severus started the watch, as Harry began to run as fast as he could. He was already over the first obstacle as the others began to register that he moved. But what threw them out of the loop was that John was already waiting for him on the Finish.
Dumbledore was smiling, exactly what he expected to happen. Harry has grown strong, even with this dark presence in his scar limiting his ability. He still hoped that he was wrong about what it was, but all the evidence he found were pointing to that conclusion. But right now, he was glad as he watched Harry clearing the tires and finishing the course, as he heard at the same time the click of the stopwatch in Severus's hand.
"Well, Mister Malfoy it seems your tantrum was justified." Severus was not smiling, but you could hear his astonishment in his voice. Hermione was gasping, did Professor Snape really suggest that Harry was now slower than before? "AHA I knew it. How much slower was he? I bet I was faster." Draco was almost jumping as he thought he was right.
"Oh, you misunderstood me, Mister Malfoy. It was justified as your assumption of him cheating was in a sense correct, but not as you would think. He was going easy on you before." Malfoy stopped on the spot, as if he was hit with a petrifying curse. Severus held the watch in front of his face so he could see the time. "1 Minute exactly. He was even 10 seconds faster as he was before and believe me, I would never favorite him" Draco was now as pale as a sheet of paper.
Harry took his glasses back, liking the feeling of Callie telling him how he did. What he was a bit afraid of was his elevated heart rate as it was a sign that he had still a lot to train. Something he would gladly do, as it did not escape his attention that John was waiting on the finish line for him as soon as he started. It had him took only one second for the distance to sprint. And he was not even in his armor.
Draco was still frozen in shock as John told them if they wanted to continue the training, they could do this every Saturday morning until lunch break. Crabbe and Goyle did manage to carry Draco up to the castle, much to the laughter of Ron as he almost lay on the ground because of it. Harry was talking to John about his training regime as Hermione was coming over to them.
"Excuse me, Mister Wulf Sir. I noticed that you had called Harry by his first name before, do you know him? Is it possible that he trained for 10 years to be this fast?" Hermione was once again bursting with curiosity. John thought that she was almost like Doctor Halsey or Cortana in her thirst for knowledge. "I can assure you Miss Granger that it was not 10 years, as that would imply that Harry was running before he learned to walk. But yes, I know him personally, that's the reason I knew that he had it in him to beat that course in the time he did. Back home we have a similar course for training purposes. Naturally, Harry had to be at least 7 years of age before he could begin train with it, but he has talent. But please allow me this question Miss Granger. Why are you so interested?" John's old habit to keep secrets and find out what was already know shone through his behavior.
Hermione answered truthfully as she just wanted to know as much as possible. If the question was to personal, she would ask for forgiveness. At that moment Harry heard Ron calling him, asking him if he would come back up to play some chess. He just shook his head and was again talking with John about his future training regime. Ron was disappointed, but did leave it at that as Seamus agreed to play a game with him. Hermione and the other muggleborns stayed behind, thinking that it would not hurt them to do more laps. John kept watching them and giving advice how it would be safer and better for them.
While Harry was climbing up the wall once more, Oliver came over calling him. It was time for his Quidditch education. Harry nodded and let himself down again, saying goodbye to John and left with Oliver to the Quidditch pit.
"And how was your first training with Mister Wulf? He can be a bit strict at times, but I heard that if you keep up with his training, your endurance is going through the roof." He then began to explain to him about all the rules and little tricks the teams could exploit while paying it. Like the beaters hit the Bludger's with both bats to give it some extra energy to hit the target, mostly the seeker or the keeper as those positions are those with the most potential to decide the game. Harry tried to remember everything and nodded by the explanations of the balls for the party and which he needed to catch. Afterwards they took some school brooms and Oliver did throw some small balls in different directions, which Harry had caught them all. As the evening came and it got too dark, they stored the brooms back into the closets and were once again walking back to the castle.
After all the students had eaten their dinner and were once again back in the common rooms, Harry saw his yearmates all tired out, some even napping in the sofas after they just sat down. Harry grinned, remembering his first training. Suddenly, Callie called him to say that John was away for a while, as something has shown up in the forbidden forest.
A/N: hmmm, what or who could that be? Answer in the next chapter
