"I would like to know your name before we duel," Declan Akaba requested of Kisa as he glanced at his soon-to-be opponent.
"Why?" challenged Kisa as she glared at him like she glared at his mother. "So you can hunt me down at a later time for something that I didn't do?"
"I figured it would be the polite thing to do," answered Declan as he remained calm. "As for the recent attacks, I know that you're not responsible for them. Given the fact that you have some form of military training… Special Forces, am I correct?"
"Wait, seriously?!" Julia asked as she, her companions and the students of You Show Duel School were surprised to hear that.

'I'm guessing that she's not going to pull the same move here that she pulled against the Sledgehammer and Yuya at the start of the her first duel here,' Declan thought to himself as he was assessing his situation and knowledge of the Gundam franchise that he had recently acquired during Kisa's time evading the Leo Corporation's surveillance network around Paradise City. 'I should also assume that the deck she just constructed will have different mobile suits this time. But for now, I'll assume she has at least one of the Heliopolis Gundams or another Gundam from the Cosmic Era that has Phase Shift Armor as part of its special ability in her Extra Deck.'
"I will start with the spell card called 'Dark Contract With The Gate'," Declan said as he activated his first spell card in his hand. "This spell deals me 1000 points of damage during my next turn. But on the upside, it allows me to bring a D/D monster to my hand."
"Great… you duel with a Different Dimension deck," Kisa snarled as she knew what "D/D" meant from her time at Duel Academy in New Domino City.
"Interesting, so you know about the Different Dimension archetype deck," Declan said with a slight smirk on his face.
"A wee bit," replied Kisa. "My father never let me duel with the D/D archetype. Plus… it never really interested me in the first place."
"At any rate, I choose to bring D/D Cerberus from my deck to my hand since it's Level 4 or below," Declan said, bringing focus back to the duel.

"Oh sweet bloody hell!" Kisa exclaimed as she was unaware that Declan could synchro summon like her.
"Given your reaction I take it you weren't expecting to see me Synchro Summon like you," Declan said in his observation of Kisa's reaction. "Well… then there's a lot more that you haven't seen as I now overlay my two D/D/D Doom King Armageddons together in order to build the Overlay Network! I Xyz Summon! Rise D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga!"

"I'm afraid that your Justice Gundam won't be able to stop my powerful king as Kali Yuga overrules the effects of all cards on the turn that he's summoned to the field of battle," Declan informed Kisa. "And that includes your Justice Gundam's 400 ATK point boost and its Phase Shift armor."

"Your time of controlling this duel is over," Kisa said to Declan as she narrowed her eyes at him. "The time has come."
"Time for what?" Declan asked Kisa as he was interested in the new development.
"For my counterattack! Trans-Am… ROAR!" Kisa exclaimed as she revealed the two cards that she drew from her Pot of Greed and tigress stripe tattoos and her now feline ice blue eyes glowed brightly in resonance and glass shattered, causing many to become afraid, but not Yuya as he was fixated on his Pendulum necklace. "I call on Scale 1 ARX-014 Silver Bullet and Scale 10 RX-78AN-01 Gundam Tristan and set the Pendulum Scale! I've now taken command of this duel and am launching my counterattack!
Declan was now the one who became horrified, not on the outside but on the inside. With this new development, he knew that the tables had turned on him, but wanted to see what she could do with her recently acquired Pendulum cards. Declan also took notice that Kisa's duel disk had suddenly also changed shape to match the duel disks of Paradise City as she played her Silver Bullet and Gundam Tristan Pendulum monsters.
"I can now summon monsters that are levels 2 through 9, all at the same time," Kisa said as her Light-attribute mobile suits were flanking her on both sides. "Swing Pendulum! Allow this tigress to let out the resounding roar… of VICTORY!"

3: Trials of the Tigress
"Bloody hell… what a night," Kisa said as she had woken up in the bed of Declan Akaba without any clothes on. "Ah! Oh crap… in the name of Christ, did I just do what I think I did last night with Declan?"
The young duelist covered herself with the top sheet and surveyed her surroundings as she had to bring to her guard up quickly as her clothes weren't in sight of her at first. She laid back down on the bed and let out an exasperated sigh. As she laid on the bed, Kisa looked back to what happened to her the night before she was in her… unexpected position. Learning that there were two other forms of summoning other than Fusion and Synchro Summoning blew her mind. Despite having her mind blown, Kisa needed to learn more about Pendulum and Xyz Summoning as she had just acquired two Pendulum monsters that were two of her personal favorite mobile suits from the Universal Century timeline. Speaking of her cards, Kisa looked frantically for her cards but couldn't find them.
"I swear if Declan used his bed just to get to my cards," Kisa began as she snarled to herself, "then he's gonna be in a bloody world of trouble."
Kisa then found a shirt that belonged to Declan and put it on as it was the only thing she could find available to cover herself until she found her clothes… and her cards. The young duelist was thankful that his shirt was large enough to cover her enough until she decided to go through his dresser and see if he had any pants that might be her size. She found some shorts and put them on instead going for the door first. Kisa was thankful that his shorts fit her and it was better than going outside of the bedroom wearing just a shirt. Once Kisa had dressed herself in some of Declan's clothes, she made her way through the Leo Corporation building until she was spotted by Claude, Declan's aide.
"Miss Williamson," Claude said to Kisa as he saw her in Declan's clothes.
"Where are my cards?" Kisa demanded of Claude as she narrowed her eyes at him. "Better yet, where are my clothes?"
"They've been cleaned for you," Declan's mother Henrietta answered Kisa as she had the 14 year-old teenager's clothes. "As for your cards, they're being examined. At least your Gundam-themed cards are being examined. Declan asked me to at least ensure you got your Lightsworn/Twilightsworn deck back. He added in Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn to your deck as you did say you were looking to complete the set.
"He also threw in Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn," continued Henrietta as she showed Kisa the Rank 4 Light-attribute Lightsworn monster. "But in exchange for this Xyz Monster and other Xyz Monsters to put with your Gundam-themed cards, Declan and I have a small request to ask of you."
"Nay, I'm not gonna help knock down the You Show Duel School," Kisa was quick to say in assumption that was what Henrietta was going to ask her.
"As tempting as that sounds," replied Henrietta with a slight chuckle, "that's not what Declan wants. You gave him quite the battle even though you could've run after seeing what he was capable of. Given the fact you were trained to mostly gather intelligence, I was rather surprised to see you dig your heels in and stand your ground against my son."
"Well, like I said," Kisa began after letting out a sigh, "Principal Boyle and his daughter, Zuzu, have been kind to me and letting me stay in their home and attend You Show while I'm here in Paradise City. I wasn't gonna just turn a blind eye and just be a mooch."
"At any rate, Declan wanted me to see if you had woken up and figured you'd be up and about trying to get the layout of Leo Corporation's headquarters," Henrietta said to Kisa as she gave Kisa's clothes back to her. "But I have some personal things I need to ask you.
Henrietta then turned to Claude and said to him, "Thank you Claude, you may leave. It's just going to be us girls for the day."
"Understood ma'am," replied Claude as he left to tend to his duties with Declan.
"It was a safe night for me last night," Kisa said to Henrietta bluntly as she had assumed what one of the questions Declan's mother was going to ask her. "Nay, I'm not looking for money from you or Declan. Third… and lastly… that was one bloody helluva of night I won't be forgettn' anytime soon."
"Um…," began Henrietta as she noticed a few Leo Corporation employees staring at her and Kisa, "this isn't the place for that kind of discussion. So why don't you go get changed back into your clothes and we'll spend a little bit of time with our discussion."

"These are some really interesting designs that she came up with," Claude said to his boss as they looked at Kisa's designs for new mobile suits that she had come up with.
"Yes indeed," agreed Declan with a slight nod. "Having these customized mobile suits turned into cards might be something to help Miss Williamson in agreeing to help us protect Paradise City. I know that my father will come to take Paradise City and we will need her prowess in battle along with her skills in gathering intelligence should we come under attack sooner than later."
"And these other mobile suits?" Claude asked Declan as looked at variants of the MSA-003 NEMO mobile suit that was introduced in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, a GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam and of the Strike Gundam, both from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
"This first mobile suit, NEMO High Maneuver, is an actual mobile suit from the Universal Century timeline," Declan began to explain to Claude as they looked at the modified MSA-003 NEMO with a binder wing-like backpack. "As you can see, it has a backpack similar to the Hyaku Shiki from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and allows the NEMO to have a higher performance output than a normal NEMO. The next suit is close-quarters combat variant of the GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam called the Sword Calamity Gundam."
"It looks like a Calamity with only swords and no guns," Claude said to Declan as they looked at two pictures of both the Calamity and Sword Calamity before looking to the next set sketched designs of a new Strike Gundam. "This one looks… pretty different from all of the variants of the Strike Gundam we've researched and there's not a single mention of it in any of Gundam encyclopedias."
"I think this variant of the Strike Gundam was meant to be more of a variant of the Strike Rouge Gundam instead of the Strike Gundam," said Declan as they looked at the sketches Kisa's designed variant. "This mobile suit is meant to be more feminine then masculine. Plus it seems to not have the Phase Shift or Variable Phase Shift armor that most of the SEED and SEED Destiny Gundam-type mobile suits have.
"Hmm… fascinating," Declan said as they looked another set of sketches that were of the same Strike Gundam variant. "Claude, I think we have everything we need. Let's get to work then."

"You want me to do what now?" Kisa asked Declan as she heard him ask her to help in protecting Paradise City from his father.
"My father wants to create a supreme dimension," Declan answered Kisa as he handed her back her Gundam-themed cards back after examining them and having new cards made for her. "And for my father to realize that goal, he has to invade other dimensions and conquer them. The Standard Dimension is no exception to him. He must be stopped at all costs."
"Look… I don't know if I'm the right person to be asking to do such a thing," replied Kisa as she was clearly hesitant. "Right now, I just wanna go home back to my parallel dimension and back to my best friend.
"I'll tell you what," continued Kisa as she looked to Declan. "Give me some time to think about it and you'll have my decision within 72 hours. You have my word."
"Very well then," replied Declan with a slight nod, "you shall have 72 hours to think about your decision. But I should warn you, my father may consider trying to reach your home as well. So the clock is ticking Miss Williamson."
"Aye, I'll keep that in mind," Kisa said as she walked out the Leo Corporation building.

"You want to me undergo trials?" Kisa asked the tigress spirit as it appeared to her while she was asleep in the guest room back at the Boyle's home.
"Yes," answered the tigress spirit as she gave a slight nod to the Tigress Duelist. "The new cards you have are quite powerful. You must learn to harness their power."
"So these trials… they're supposed to help me become a better duelist?" Kisa asked the spirit.
"In a way, yes," answered the spirit as the tigress spirit sat down. "They're to also help you get used to the new powers you've acquired."
"You mean learning to perform Pendulum Summoning and Xyz Summoning, right?" Kisa asked the spirit.
"Yes indeed," answered the spirit. "These new summoning methods must be learned and have a feeling for. You already know and have mastered completely Synchro Summoning."
"Aye… I need to learn about Pendulum and Xyz Summoning if I plan to be a better duelist," Kisa said with a thoughtful nod before letting out a sigh. "What the bloody hell… I'll undertake these trials."

"So you're the sniveling lil' bastard who had my cards snatched from me," Kisa said as she encountered the mastermind, the disgruntled former regional champion, Weevil Underwood.
"Oh man," Tea Gardner said as she, Joey Wheeler, Melody Nosaka and Solomon Moto heard Kisa's choice of words to describe the the master of Insect Dueling.
"She ain't shy about her words," added Joey.
"So what if I am?" the sneaky Insect Duelist asked as his reply. "What do you plan on doing about it?"
"I distinctly remember telling you that if you ever touched my cards, I would kill you where you bloody stood," Kisa answered as she readied her cards, playing a slight of hand with one card as she reassembled her deck. "But I think I'll settle for throwing you to the pavement and smashing your nuts in... very bloody hard after destroying you in two turns."
"That's not a pleasant thought," Solomon said weakly as the elderly card shop owner and Joey Wheeler felt a twinge of pain where they didn't want to feel pain.
"Heh, I knew that I liked her," Tea said with the most wicked grin on her face as she saw Solomon and Joey twinging in pain.
Melody was starting to like this girl as well, especially from the way she didn't take shit from the bastard who tried to toss Yugi's Exodia Cards into the ocean on the way to Duelist Kingdom and even tried to turn all of Joey's monsters into Insect Monsters earlier but ultimately both plans failed with Joey having intervened to stop Weevil from getting rid of Yugi's most powerful cards which led to Yugi using Exodia to defeat that creep three turns which led to a humiliating elimination from that tournament for the former regional champion. In fact, she also had to admit that she was impressed when she saw Joey defeat Weevil in Battle City, as well as winning his opponent's Insect Queen Monster Card in the process. "Let's see how this goes" she said, smiling as she was really looking forward to the duel that was about to take place since it was clear despite being defeated by Yugi and by Joey, that Weevil Underwood didn't learn a damn thing at all.
"Enough!" Weevil shouted in anger as he readied his Duel Disk to face.
"Let's DUEL!" both duelists shouted as they readied themselves to duke it out.

"Huh?" Roland, a KaibaCorp official asked as he noticed Weevil was dueling an unknown person who wasn't a Battle City participant. "Mr. Kaiba, we have one of the Battle City participants dueling against someone who isn't a registered participant in Battle City."
The president of KaibaCorp looked to his loyal employee and then looked to screen to see who was dueling. Seto Kaiba looked and saw that disgraced regional champion who was defeated by Yugi Moto was dueling someone he had previously seen at Duelist Kingdom. With a wicked smirk on his face, Seto said to Roland, "Don't disqualify her. Let's get eyes on that duel. I wanna see what she's capable of since I never saw her duel at Duelist Kingdom."
"Yes sir," acknowledged Roland as he and his staff jumped to their instructed task.
"And get with Mokuba," added Seto. "I want him watching this duel as well.
"Knowing Underwood... he'll try to cheat in order to win," continued Kaiba as he crossed his arms across his chest. "And if there's one thing I won't tolerate... it's cheating."

"I'm already here, Bro," Mokuba reported to his brother as the younger Kaiba brother was watching Kisa and Weevil starting their duel. "It's that really cute girl from Duelist Kingdom."
"Just keep an eye on that duel," Seto replied to Mokuba in an irritated tone as he didn't like being teased about his tastes in girls.
"Alright, alright Bro," relented Mokuba as he watched Weevil make the first move.

"I think I'll make the first move," Weevil said angrily as he conducted his Draw Phase and then had a wicked grin on his face thinking that he had control of the duel. "I activate the spell cards Insect Barrier and Reckless Parasite! This lets me Special Summon 1 Parasite Paracide from your deck."
"That's bad," Joey said as he cringed at the thought of Kisa having said monster in her deck.
"Oh no. Whatever will I do?" Kisa asked in a mocking tone as the Level 2 Earth-attribute Insect monster was summoned on her side of the field. "Now I can't tribute it and my monsters are gonna become insects. AHH!"
[Weevil Special Summon Phase: Parasite Paracide Level 2 ATK: 500 DEF: 300]
"Sounds to me like she's toying with Weevil," Solomon said as he noticed Kisa not taking Weevil seriously as he summoned Cockroach Knight in Attack Mode.
[Weevil Summoning Phase: Cockroach Knight Level 3 ATK: 800 DEF: 900]
"My turn then," Kisa said as she conducted her Draw Phase. "First, I'll start by activatin' the spell card Pot of Greed. I can draw two more cards from my deck.
Kisa then drew two cards from her deck and got everything she needed to put Weevil down as she then said, "I'll then activate my continuous spell card, Phase Shift!"
"Uh... Phase Shift?" Tea asked in a confused tone as she never had seen Kisa duel before and watched as the spell card with the Strike Gundam activating its Phase Shift armor came to life.
"With Phase Shift, when I summon Machine monsters, they become covered in an energy armor that keeps them from being destroyed in battle and targeted by effects until the 2nd End Phase of the monster's summoning," Kisa explained to her opponent and those watching the duel.
"Nice," Joey said with an enthusiastic smile on his face. "So her machines aren't becoming bugs any time soon."
Weevil gritted his teeth as he wasn't expecting Kisa to counter Reckless Parasite so quickly and right out of the gate. As for Tea, Solomon and Joey, they were waiting for Kisa to take Weevil and destroy him like she said that she would do. They noticed Kisa taking a huge breath and exhaling as she was ready to put Weevil down for good before Joey faced him.
"I told you that I was gonna destroy you in two turns,"Kisa said to Weevil as she narrowed her eyes at him, "and I intend to do so right now!
"I call on Scale 2 Ootsukigata and Scale 10 Gundam Tristan and set the Pendulum Scale in motion!" Kisa exclaimed as she showed them her cards and set them down as her duel disk flared to life. "I've now taken command and am launching my counterattack!"
The said mobile suits from the Mobile Suit Variation of Gundam SEED Destiny and Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS then rose from the ground, flanking Kisa on her left and right sides. Weevil was then horrified by what he was seeing before his eyes. Tea, Joey and Solomon were amazed by what they were seeing before their eyes as they had never seen the mobile suits that Kisa set in her Pendulum Zones. Let alone they had never heard of monsters being treated as Scale monsters.
"I can summon monsters that are Levels 3 through 9 all at the same time," Kisa said as she continued bringing momentum her turn.
"Uh oh," cried Weevil as he realized the tables had turned on him faster then he could say bug swatter.
"I never knew that she could do that," Solomon said as he heard Kisa saying that could summon monsters Levels 3 through 9.
"Go squash that creep, Kisa!" Tea cheered as she watched the Tigress Duelist take complete control of the duel.
"Swing Pendulum!" exclaimed Kisa. "Allow this tigress to let out the resounding Roar of Victory! I... Pendulum SUMMON!"
The sky seemed to open up and allowed for four monsters to descend and join the field of battle. Three monsters that appeared were mobile suits as Tea, Joey and Solomon saw them come on to the battlefield and Kisa's Phase Shift spell card then took to effect causing the Parasite Tokens to not appear in the spell and trap card zone. The fourth monster that appeared was a heavily armored vehicle that also was covered in energy armor. Weevil was not liking that his strategy was just torn to pieces and he was robbed of a victory earned through cheating means.
"Launch and charge forward with your Sword of Light, M1Astray," Kisa said as the first mobile suit monster appeared. "Launch and prove that the only god is the one within your fists, M1A Astray! Launch and move to provide security in the name of peace, Gjallarhorn Mobile Worker! Launch and devastate the enemy with your confounding speed, RGM-79FD Armored GM!"
"I've never heard of these monsters before," Solomon said as he looked at the three mobile suits and mobile worker from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans.
"But they look so cool," Joey replied enthusiastically as his excitement was building.

"Time to use your own monster against you and render your Reckless Parasite spell card useless," Kisa said to Weevil.
"You can't Tribute Parasite Paracide," shot back Weevil. "My Reckless Parasite spell card won't let you tribute it."
"Nay, I'm not tributing it," countered Kisa. "I'm using it to perform another type of summoning."
"Huh? Another type of summoning?" Tea asked in confusion at first. "Okay, now she's got my interest."
"Same here," agreed Solomon.
"I'll take my Level 2 Gjallarhorn Mobile Worker and tune it with the Level 2 Parasite Paracide, Weevil so thoughtfully had placed in my deck and my now Level 2 Armored GM thanks in part to its special ability cutting its level in half since I'm not special summoning a monster with Gundam in its name," said Kisa as said monsters joined together and went up in the sky and dissipated into glowing orbs and two glowing gates.

"Out of dark intentions and rage comes a Warrior of Light!" exclaimed Kisa as the three monsters were joining together. "Let the souls of two unite and become one! Synchro Summon! Unite and become one! RX-79BD3 Blue Destiny Unit 3"
[Kisa Synchro Summoning Phase: Gjallarhorn Mobile Worker Level 2+ Parasite Paracide Level 2+ RGM-79FD Armored GM Level 2= RX-79BD3 Blue Destiny Unit 3 Level 6 ATK: 2400 DEF: 1500]
Out of the Synchro Summoning came the powerful variant of the RX-79G Gundam Ground Type from Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team. As for Weevil, he began sweating profusely as he was in the worst trouble he had ever been in since being eliminated by Yugi at Duelist Kingdom. The Gundam-type mobile suit was not affected by the effects of Weevil's Reckless Parasite spell card since Parasite Paracide was sent to the Graveyard when Kisa Synchro Summoned the current monster out on the field. But nonetheless, Kisa's Phase Shift spell card still took effect and covered the Federation mobile suit in energy armor.
"Whoa, that looks... really powerful," Tea said as she looked at the Blue Destiny Unit 3 standing on the field of battle.
"And its about to get even more powerful, thanks to my Gjallarhorn Mobile Worker's special ability," Kisa said as she overheard Tea's remark. "When my level 2 Dark-attribute mobile worker is used to Special Summon another machine monster, the new machine monster gains 700 ATK points."
[Blue Destiny Unit 3 ATK boost: +700= 3100]
"AHH! I'm doomed!" Weevil cried out in horror as he watched the Blue Destiny Unit gain a surge of power.
"Oh, your troubles are just beginning with me," replied Kisa as she still had two more monsters on the field of battle. "I now overlay my M1Astray and M1A Astray in order to build the Overlay Network!
Both Light-attribute monsters then dissipated and were then sucked into a black hole as Kisa continued, "Ancient fairy of old, evolve and gain new powers to face the threats of the ancient past and foes from the future. I... Xyz Summon! Appear upon the sunrise, Rank 4 GAT-X105PS Pixie Strike Gundam!"

"This is getting really confusing," Tea said as she was watching the duel. "First she does that Pendulum Summon and summons four monsters. Then she does that Synchro Summoning by using Weevil's disgusting little Parasite Paracide and two of her machines. Now she does this... Xyz Summoning. What's going on here?"
"I still have more in store," Kisa said as the momentum was still in her favor. "I activate the Pendulum Ability of my Ootsukigata! Once per turn, I can lower the ATK of any monster by 400 points. And guess which monster I'm targeting."
"No!" Weevil cried in horror as the Scale 2 Pendulum monster transformed into its mobile armor mode and fired at Weevil's only monster.

"Next, I'll use my Gundam Tristan's Pendulum Ability," Kisa said as her Scale 10 Earth-attribute monster was glowing. "I can raise the ATK of all my monsters that have 'Gundam' in their name by 500 points."

"Mommy!" Weevil balled like a little girl as he was on his knees.

The Rank 4 Light-attribute Machine monster then charged in with beam saber drawn and struck down the unfortunate Level 3 insect monster as Kisa then said, "Your Cockroach Knight's special ability won't save you from me even though Pixie Strike Gundam slew it in battle.

"Blue Destiny Unit 3, destroy his remaining life points and end this duel!" Kisa shouted as the level 6 Synchro machine monster drew its beam saber and brought it down on Weevil Underwood and claimed the last of his life points.

"No please... not that!" Weevil pleaded to Kisa after the attack from her Blue Destiny Unit 3 threw him to the pavement as she steadily approached him.
Kisa ignored his pleas for mercy and then stood above him, looking down on his prone form. True to her word, she slammed her right boot in his sensitive area very hard, earning her a well timed squeal from the defeated insect duelist. She then looked to Weevil and said, "I don't want your rarest card. My summoning methods don't follow Battle City rules. So this duel isn't an official Battle City duel."
"Actually, Seto won't hold this duel against you," Mokuba Kaiba said as he had approached the finished duel. "Never thought I'd see a duel end so quickly."
"Sorry."
"No worries" began Kisa, knowing it wasn't the brown-haired girl's fault and helped her back onto her feet though at the same time noticed she's wearing a duel disk which didn't look like the ones from Duel Academy or even the one she possessed. "You're a duelist?"
Kisa's eyes widened in surprise, she could've sworn she heard the name Yugi before. "Wait a minute, you said Yugi…" she spoke to Tea, trying to process the whole thing while at the same time didn't want to arouse any unwanted attention. "You don't mean Yugi Muto, the legendary King of Games aren't you?"
"Well yeah, although I wouldn't really call him legendary to be honest" Tea replied to Kisa, still unsure of what to make of her at the moment since she seemed to know a bit about Yugi. "I take it you're participating in the Battle City Tournament like me, Yugi, Joey and Kisara."
This made Kisa blink, while she was familiar with Yugi and Joey, or more specifically their efforts in the tournament that Tea just mentioned as well as from Duelist Kingdom and the Kaiba Corp GP, she didn't know of all the details regarding what transpired but the name Kisara was an entirely different story. "Kisara?" she asked of Tea.
"She was a new student at our school before we went to the Duelist Kingdom" answered Tea, thinking back to the day Kisara transferred to Domino High School and how she participated in Duelist Kingdom alongside Yugi and Joey, leading up to her making it to fourth place. "She's a skilled Duelist who made it to the Duelist Kingdom Semi-Finals and she's currently taking part in Battle City. I'm sure you'll like her if we ever see her during the tournament."
"I see…" said Kisa, taking in what she learned since it didn't seem like something that happened in her timeline given how there was no mention of Kisara anywhere and the fact it was Bandit Keith who made it to the Semi-Finals of the Duelist Kingdom tournament. "As for if I'm participating in Battle City, well you could say I am."
"Okay, just be careful…" recommended Tea since there was something she needed to be aware of and it involved why she, Yugi and Joey were even taking part in the tournament. "There's this creep named Marik and he has these goons called Rare Hunters who do his bidding. Joey encountered one of them on the way to the hospital to see his little sister Serenity in time for her surgery to save her eye sight and he only won his duel thanks to Gilford the Lightning and its effect."
The news regarding two of Tea's friends, Joey and Melody, having been taken prisoner by Marik made her frown and she didn't blame Tea for feeling that way especially as the latter was her best friend at Domino High School. "Okay, I'll do what I can to help you save your friends" she assured the brunette. "Besides, those jerks might be in for a huge surprise if they ever attack me.'
"Hahaha! So, you're to be my opponent?" mocked the Rare Hunter with an evil grin on his hooded face as he was determined to take Kisa's rarest card for his master. "Don't turn tail and run, brat. All right, prepare to fall!"

Kisa drew a card from her deck, and knew she needed to be careful of the Rare Hunter's two facedown cards as they could be either Quick Play Spell Cards or even Trap Cards or both not to mention she was aware of Spirit Reaper's effect which means it couldn't be destroyed by battle at all. "I see, you're using a Zombie deck… still I'm not worried" she said to her opponent with a defiant look on her face.
"You should be as my Spirit Reaper's effect prevents him from being destroyed by any of your monsters in battle after all" the Rare Hunter replied, confident that this was going to be an easy win for him. "However, he's the least of your worries as I have something much more lethal in store for you should you actually find a way to get to my life points."
"Alright then," Kisa said as she conducted her Draw Phase, "it's my turn.
'I sure hope I know what I'm doing, undertaking these trials,' Kisa thought to herself.
"I summon to the field, RGM-79FP GM Striker in Attack Mode," Kisa said as she summoned out a mobile suit monster with a long spear-like weapon in its right hand.

"I may not be able to destroy your Spirit Reaper, but I can shank you for Battle Damage," Kisa said to the Rare Hunter. "My GM Striker's special ability raises its Attack points by 500 when it battles non-Machine monsters during my Battle Phase.

"GM Striker, attack that Spirit Reaper and shank this bloody asshole for 1800 points of damage!" Kisa ordered her monster.
The Federation mobile suit then charged at its target as its twin beam spear then became a beam scythe and then brought it down on the level 3 zombie monster. Of course, Spirit Reaper wasn't destroyed, as per its special ability, but the Rare Hunter did take quite the brunt from the backlash of the attack. Then Kisa activated a spell card that Tea saw and remembered from when she destroyed Weevil Underwood because he cheated and touched the Tigress Duelist's cards.
"I now activate the spell card, Phase Shift!" Kisa exclaimed as the spell card flared to life and a hissing noise could be heard as the Federation limited mass production close quarters combat mobile suit was covered in energy armor. "Good luck trying to destroy my machine monsters. So long as I have it on the field, my machine monsters can't be destroyed in battle or targeted by effects until the 2nd End Phase of the monster's summoning.

"But I'm not done yet," Kisa said as she was looking to increase her momentum. "I send one 'RGM-79 GM' from my hand to the Graveyard to special summon out Gerfangener GM in attack mode.

"Then I'll activate the spell card, Radio Reinforcements," continued Kisa as her spell flared to life. "Since I Normal Summoned my GM Striker, I can Normal Summon 1 Level 4 or below Machine monster. And I choose to summon out MSA-003 NEMO High Maneuver in Attack Mode. I place one card facedown and end my turn. GM Striker's ATK also goes back to normal."

"I activate the Continuous Trap Card, The First Sarcophagus!" declared the Rare Hunter, causing Kisa to curse that one Continuous Trap Card wasn't already bad enough for her to deal with and it didn't help that her opponent was chuckling as an Egyptian sarcophagus slowly began to emerge from the ground.
"What's so funny?"
"You'll find out, provided you last long enough to learn what I have in store…" grinned the Rare Hunter, before continuing his turn. "For now, I'll sacrifice my Metal Reflect Slime in order to summon something even better… Vampire Lord, rise from your grave!"

"You seem to forget that my Phase Shift spell card is active on the field," Kisa countered as she pointed to her spell card.
"That doesn't really matter," replied the Rare Hunter with an evil grin. "Vampire Lord, attack her Gerfangener GM now!"
"My Gerfangener GM's special ability activates," Kisa said as she countered the Rare Hunter's move to try and lessen the damage from Vampire Lord's attack. "Whenever I have an RGM-79 GM in my graveyard, Gerfangener GM's ATK rises by 300 per RGM-79 GM in my Graveyard."

"Now for my Vampire Lord's effect…" the Rare Hunter spoke again, knowing it was going according as planned and soon he would be ready for his ultimate weapon to be unleashed if this kept up… for now, he was going to enjoy seeing Kisa suffer slowly and painfully for thinking she could interfere with Marik's plans for world conquest. "Each time this card inflicts battle damage to my opponent's life points, I can declare one type of card and send it to their graveyard so say goodbye to another Monster!"
Kisa bit her lower lip, taking a card from her deck and having to send it directly into her Graveyard. "Damn it…" she growled, biting her lower lip and Tea looking worried as she watched from the sidelines, knowing full well that Marik's Rare Hunters were skilled and would do whatever it took to win against their opponents. "Okay, my move now!"
She drew a card from her deck, then glanced at Tea who was still standing nearby with some concern on her face. Okay, I need to make this move count… especially against this guy… she thought to herself as she needed to bring out her best monsters in case there's more to that Trap Card he previously activated than she originally thought.
"I draw!" Kisa yelled as she conducted her Draw Phase. "Perfect.
"I call on Scale 3 Testament Gundam and Scale 9 Gel Finieto and set the Pendulum Scale in motion!" Kisa exclaimed as she was now gaining momentum. "I've taken command of this duel and am launching my counterattack!
The Rare Hunter was caught completely off guard by sudden appearance of these Pendulum cards that his opponent was using and two mobile suits that were flanking Kisa on both sides. Kisa narrowed her eyes at the Rare Hunter as she continued, "I'm allowed to summon monsters that are Levels 4 through 8 all at the same time. Swing Pendulum! Allow this tigress to let out the resounding roar of victory! I… PENDULUM SUMMON!
"Launch and flaunt your enemy with your golden brilliance, MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki!" Kisa said as the golden armored mobile suit of the Anti-Earth Union Group descended to the battlefield. "Launch and pave the road for a new generation of Gundams, YFX-600R GuAIZ Experimental Firearms Type.

"Now I tune my Gerfangener GM with my Gel Finieto," continued Kisa as she was staying with the momentum. "The unflinching warrior fights to bring hope to all who yearn for it! His sword never fails to cut down those who oppress the innocent! Synchro Summon! Charge forth with the sword of hope, GAT-X105 Strike Gundam!

"Now I'll take my GuAIZ Experimental Firearms Type and my Strike Gundam and overlay them in order to build the Overlay Network!" Kisa exclaimed as both Level 6 monsters dissipated and were sucked into the black hole. "A hero that has been twisted and corrupted for slaughter descends on the battlefield! He questions his purpose as he fights on the field of battle. I Xyz Summon! Come forth and find your purpose, GAT-X105E Strike E Gundam!"

The Rank 6 Dark-attribute machine monster took a stance against relatively weak Level 3 Spirit Reaper as it joined the Hyaku Shiki. The Dark-attribute Gundam had two purple orbs hovering around it as it looked at small Zombie monster. Kisa narrowed her eyes as she finished, "I activate Strike E Gundam's special ability. By using one Overlay Unit, I can bring my Strike Gundam from the Graveyard and it gains up to half of Strike Gundam's ATK points."

The upgraded version of the Strike Gundam complied and fired off a blistering stream of beams at the Spirit Reaper and went through it, hitting the Rare Hunter. The Rare Hunter was then defeated as the duel didn't seem to last as long as she thought it might last.

But with the Rare Hunter defeated, Kisa and Tea then walked away from the opponent to go and find where Kisa's trial was supposed to be. Kisa kept silent about her being in the tournament so she could learn to harness and master the new summoning methods that she acquired in Paradise City. As far as Tea and the others were concerned, Kisa was indeed their friend, but her trials were something that she couldn't allow them to know about. The Rare Hunters were something that Yugi Moto and his friends had to deal with and adding her trials would've been too much for them to handle, Kisa reasoned with herself.

"Oi, now where am I?" Kisa asked as she noticed that she wasn't in the Battle City tournament and aiding Yugi Moto and his fight against the Rare Hunters or even against Noah Kaiba in the virtual world during her Synchro Trial.
"Excuse me, coming through," a young duelist named Jaden Yuki said as he rushed to the Kaiba Arena. "I can't become the next King of Games if I'm late to the games."
With her curiosity set in, Kisa followed Jaden Yuki to his intended destination. As the Tigress Duelist was chasing after Jaden, she felt her cellphone vibrate. Kisa wanted to ignore her cellphone, but figured that it might be Yugi Moto, one of his friend or worse… Seto Kaiba, since he watched her used Synchro, Xyz and Pendulum Summoning during her Trial of Synchro. And the head of Kaiba Corp. wanted to face Kisa in a duel after witnessing her skill and power but was denied the chance to do so as Kisa knew facing Seto Kaiba was going to be like her dueling Declan Akaba. Letting out a sigh, Kisa then pulled out her cellphone and saw that she was indeed getting a text from Seto Kaiba as he managed to get her cellphone number.
"Huh? What the bloody hell?" asked Kisa as she looked at the from Kaiba.
'I'm still waiting for you to get stronger so you can duel at my level,' the text message from Seto said to Kisa. 'So while I'm waiting for you to get stronger, you'll be going to Duel Academy. And learning to improve your skills with your Synchro, Pendulum and Xyz summoning. Don't worry, I haven't told the staff about your ability to use Synchro, Pendulum or Xyz Summoning. Though you seem to be quite skilled with those summoning techniques, I have no clue why you have to undergo these 'trials' as you explained back in the virtual world.'
"I sure hope that Duel Academy isn't like what Declan told me about," Kisa said to herself as she continued her pursuit of Jaden Yuki.

Fifteen minutes later after both Jaden and Kisa had checked in for the Duel Academy dueling entrance exam, both of them entered the duel arena and saw many applicants sitting in the bleachers, some students who were already admitted into the academy and even upper class students who had arrived to watch the hopeful applicants try to duel their way into the Academy. In one section of the arena, sat Chaz Princeton, Kisa noticed as she recalled her history from own time at Duel Academy back in New Domino City.
'So… my trials are set in the past, prior to New Domino City's rise, eh?' Kisa thought to herself as she knew full well that the tigress spirit within her was listening to her thoughts.
'Indeed, you are correct, young Kisa,' answered the spirit from within. 'I figured that having your trials of Synchro and Pendulum would be easier if you went into the past.'
'Then that means you brought me back to our parallel universe,' Kisa mentally summarized to the spirit. 'I would think that the Spirit Talker, Jaden Yuki, Chaz Princeton and even Zane Trusdale aren't part of the past of the Fusion Dimension.'

"Excuse me, we have two duelists who have come to take their entrance exam, Mr. Crowler," a Duel Academy staffer said to the infamous Dr. Crowler, that Kisa could see from across the arena with her enhanced vision.
"Did you just call me 'Mr.'?" Dr Crowler asked the staffer as he was upset with him and was then insulted again by being called "Mrs.". "I have a PhD in Dueling. I've earned the title of Doctor, thank you.
"Tell the truants that they'll just have to come back next year," continued Dr. Crowler as he was acting cold and callous.
A few proctors insisted that the two duelists who were a little late be given their fair chance to earn their right to join the Academy. Unfortunately, Dr. Crowler stood firm in his insistence that they be thrown out and told to come back next year until his cellphone rang and the chancellor, Arthur Shepard called. The chancellor of Duel Academy told his Vice Chancellor to make sure everyone got their chance and not have a repeat of the year before.
"Tell both of the young duelists that I'll face both of them," Crowler instructed the proctors with a wicked smirk on his face

"Alright you two, test time," Dr. Crowler said as both duelists arrived in the same dueling arena. "So, what are your names?"
"Uh, Jaden," answered Jaden as he was a little nervous at first. "Jaden Yuki."
"I'm Kisa Williamson," Kisa answered Dr. Crowler as she rapidly assembled her chosen deck after bowing to him.
From rafters, Alexis Rhodes took notice of Kisa assembling a deck and was confused by what the Tigress Duelist was doing. Many others saw this and a few more were also confused by this action they saw Kisa doing. As for Alexis's companion, an older student of Duel Academy, Zane Trusdale, he smirked as he realized what she was doing.
"She's taking a cautious approach against Dr. Crowler," Zane said to Alexis with his smirk still on his face before watching Kisa smack Jaden for his apparent disrespect of their test proctor.

"I summon Elemental Hero Avian in Defense Mode!" exclaimed Jaden as he summoned his first monster on the field.

"And I think I'll throw down a facedown," added Jaden as he placed the Draining Shield trap card face down. "It's your move. Get your game on!"
"Actually, I'll be deferring to the young lady," Dr. Crowler stated calmly. "After all, this is a two-on-one duel. The young lady next to you is your teammate after all."
"I hope you don't mind if I use my custom made cards that were made just for me," Kisa said to Dr. Crowler.
"Oh? You have custom made cards made just for you?" Crowler asked Kisa in interest before smiling. "How could I say 'no' to a such a polite young lady? Feel free to use your custom made cards."
'I'll give her some leeway,' thought Crowler as he watched Kisa conduct her Draw Phase, 'she is a polite young lady and apologized for her and the slacker's tardiness. But… being polite will not win this duel for her and that slacker.'
"I'll start by sending by sending 1 'RGM-79 GM' from my hand to the Graveyard so that I can Special Summon to the field… the level 4 Dark attribute TUNER monster Gerfangener GM in Attack Mode," said Kisa as she sent the card that she drew in her Draw Phase to her graveyard.

"Huh?" asked Alexis in confusion as those watching the 2-on-1 duel witnessed the green camo painted GM rise to the battlefield. "What's a Tuner monster?"

"Next, I summon RGM-79FD Armored GM in Attack Mode," Kisa said as she summoned out her next monster.

"Next, since I have a Machine Tuner monster, I'm allowed to Special Summon another Tuner monster from my hand or deck, Half Gundam in Attack Mode," Kisa continued as she set the Level 2 Light attribute Tuner Monster.

"Oi, Jaden," Kisa said to her partner, "I need to borrow your Elemental Hero Avian. Mind if I borrow him?"
"Sure," Jaden answered cheerfully. "If you need anything from me, it's all yours."
Kisa gave Jaden a nod as she then said, "I activate Armored GM's special ability. When I Synchro Summon a monster that doesn't have Gundam in its name, I must cut its level in half to 2."

"Huh?" Cyrus Trusdale asked in confusion as he and Bastion Misawa were confused. "What's a Synchro Summon?"
"I tune Level 2 Half Gundam with my now Level 2 Armored GM," continued Kisa. "The strength of two merges to become the might of one. The razor sharpness of light forms together and slices through the darkness. Synchro Summon! Lend a hand, Level 4 Armory Arm."

Kisa heard laughing at her as she Synchro Summoned the Level 4 Light-attribute machine monster. She then looked to Jaden who smiled and said, "Hey, cheer up. That looks like a really sweet monster. Don't let those guys get you down."
Kisa sighed and then said, "Time to make use of Jaden's Elemental Hero Avian. I activate the special ability of my Gerfangener GM. When I use it to Synchro summon a monster, I can lower the level of one material monster by 1.
"And I lower the level of Jaden's Elemental Hero Avian by 1," continued Kisa as she was making her move.

"Interesting, she duels with a machine deck especially themed with Mobile Suit Gundam monsters," Zane said as he and Alexis were watching the duel.
"Perhaps, but I don't recognize that Blue Destiny Unit 3 monster," Alexis said as she vaguely remembered her older brother bugging her with his Mobile Suit Gundam fetish. "And I don't think that I know that Armory Arm either."
"Agreed, but her Synchro Summoning seems to be quite new," replied Zane.
"But it seems that Crowler's being quite a bully," said Alexis as they watched Crowler making his move and using his own deck against Jaden and Kisa. "Using his own deck against amateur duelists."
"You're too soft," Zane replied to Alexis as they watched Dr. Crowler activating the spell card Confiscation and had to pay 1000 life points and then used Heavy Storm after setting two trap cards face down. "I just hope we get to see the legendary rare card he's got stashed in that deck of his."

"I certainly hope you two aren't afraid of my Ancient Gear Golem," Dr. Crowler said to Kisa and Jaden.
"Are you kidding?" Jaden asked Dr. Crowler asked in excitement. "I've always wanted to take one on."
Kisa just yawned at Dr. Crowler and then asked in mocking tone after setting two cards facedown and then drew another two cards from her deck, "I'm sorry what was that you were asking?"
"Ancient Gear Golem, attack that Gundam Ground Type with Mechanized Melee!" Crowler shouted as his strongest monster was preparing to attack the monster that Jaden had received via the effect of Kisa's Blue Destiny Unit 3. "And I use my Ancient Gear Golem's special ability! When it battles a monster in Defense mode, you take the difference as damage to your life points!"
"I activate my Trap Card, Negate Attack!" countered Kisa as one of her face down cards.
"That's impossible!" Crowler exclaimed as he saw the trap card activating. "I destroyed all spell and trap cards on the field with my Heavy Storm spell card!"

"I see," replied Crowler with a smirk on his face. "An interesting strategy, my dear."
"Then you'll like this," said Kisa as the Level 4 Synchro monster moved into position and docked with the Level 6 Light-attribute variant of the Gundam Ground Type mobile suit. "The monster equipped with Armory Arm gains an extra 1000 ATK. And I'm equipping Armory Arm to Blue Destiny Unit 3!"

"WAIT! TIME OUT!" exclaimed Crowler in complete shock of the revelation.

"Blue Destiny Unit 3, attack Ancient Gear Golem!" ordered Kisa as the Light-attribute variant of the RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type charged at the Earth-attribute machine monster and then slashed at it. "Oh by the way, I activate Armory Arm's special ability!"
"What the?!" Crowler demanded in a panic.
"When the monster equipped with Armory Arm destroys a monster in battle," began Kisa with a triumphant smirk, "you take damage EQUAL to the destroyed monster's ATK."
"No way! He was my very best card!" cried Crowler as some debris from the destroyed monster fell on him and lead to his strongest monster completely collapsing on him.

"So… you wanna duel me?" Kisa asked Alexis as Alexis Rhodes was with her friends.
"That's right," answered Alexis with a smile as she was with her friends, Jasmine and Mindy. "I saw your 2-on-1 duel with that Jaden kid against Dr. Crowler. I gotta say, you weren't at all phased when Crowler summoned his Ancient Gear Golem."
"I've seen plenty of other monsters that were a lot more frightening than that oversized bucket of rusty bolts," replied Kisa with a cheeky grin on her face.
"Well, I wanna see how well you handle yourself in a duel," Alexis replied with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, and you can't do that Synchro Summoning against Alexis either," butt in Mindy, one of Alexis's best friends.
"I think so too," agreed Alexis's other friend, Jasmine.
"Alright then, you've got a deal," Kisa said as she assembled a deck to use against Alexis Rhodes.

"Now where am I?" asked Kisa as she saw that she was no longer at Duel Academy, but in a different place. "It certainly isn't Domino City or even New Domino City. Wonder where I am now.
"We don't like her, do we?" a young girl asked her group of cats that Kisa could hear outside of a large mansion.
"Uh… okay, sounds like someone is having some jealousy issues," Kisa said as she was about to walk away from the mansion.
As the duelist from New Domino City was walking away from the mansion, the doors flung open and the teenaged girl saw Kisa, narrowing her eyes at her. Kisa turned to see the young teenager looking at her. The young girl looked to wear a Gothic-style outfit and grey hair held up by pins to make it look like she had cat ears and a tail and wore glasses over her green eyes. The girl studied Kisa as she then asked, "Who are you? Are you a friend of Tori? Tori Meadows?"
"Nay, I don't know any person named Tori Meadows," answered Kisa as she shook her head. "Hell, I don't even know where I am. Where am I?"
"Why… you're in Heartland City, of course," answered the young teenager with a smirk.
'Eh? Heartland City?' Kisa asked herself in her mind as she raised an eyebrow. 'Am I back in the parallel universe in the Xyz Dimension? Perhaps before the Fusion Warriors from the Fusion Dimension invaded?'
"Let me ask you something," replied Kisa as she studied the cat girl. "Do you know a lad by the name of Shay Obsidian?"
"Shay Obsidian?" asked the cat girl as she looked at Kisa in confusion. "Can't say that I've heard of anyone by that name.
The cat girl looked to her gang of cats and asked them, "Have you heard of anyone named Shay Obsidian?"
The girl's gang of cat meowed and gave their answer to the cat girl as she seemed to understand them as they conversed with her. The cat girl then looked to Kisa as she replied, "I'm sorry but there's no one here in Heartland City by that name. My cats and I would know if anyone by that name was here."
"Okay," replied Kisa as she continued to study the cat girl. "What do you know about Duel Academy?"
"Huh? Is this some sort of test?" asked the cat girl in confusion by Kisa's questions. "Everyone here knows that Duel Academy went away when New Domino City collapsed and Synchro Summoning stopped being the dominate form of Special Summoning in Duel Monsters. I mean, there are a few people here and there that still use Fusion Summoning, but that's pretty rare too."
'I see,' ascertained Kisa as she was gathering the information the cat girl was giving her into the proper intelligence that her father trained her to get while in the field. 'So I must still be in my universe… but I'm guessing that I've gone into the future.
'Better not bring up the possibly of duel warriors from other dimensions,' Kisa said to herself in her mind. 'I don't want to create panic for the people of Heartland City here. That's the last thing I need to do.'
"If you're done with the 20 Questions," the cat girl said to Kisa as she eyed the Tigress Duelist warily, "we'll settle things with a duel! If you win, I'll believe you're not friends with Tori Meadows."
"You don't want to duel me, Lassie," replied Kisa as she looked to the cat girl. "It'll be your funeral."
"What's wrong with you?" taunted the cat girl. "Can't handle a clot of cats, can you?"
"Oh, I can handle your clot of cats, Lassie," answered Kisa. "You're just not at my skill level of dueling."
"Would you stop calling me 'Lassie' like I'm some dumb dog?" the cat girl Kisa in an annoyed tone as she didn't like being called "Lassie."
"I'm half Scottish," Kisa said to the cat girl with her thick Scottish accent. "It's just how I talk… unless you would prefer for me to call you by your name, which you haven't told me… Lassie."
"I told you to stop calling me 'Lassie'!" exclaimed the cat girl in an angry tone as her clot of cats meowed and hissed in anger with her. "I do have a name and it's Cathy Katherine."
"There we go now," replied Kisa as she gave the cat girl, Cathy, a polite nod. "And I'm Kisa Williamson. It's nice to make your acquaintance."
"Just because you told me your name, doesn't mean I'm going to let you out of dueling me," said Cathy before she called to her clot of cats to block Kisa from escaping. "One way or another, you're going to duel me."
Kisa sighed as she didn't like that she was being forced to duel Cathy. But for the Tigress Duelist, she had no other option and was going to have to duel her way out of Cathy's clutches. Shaking her head, Kisa reluctantly opened her jacket to reveal her hidden cards and began assembling a deck to challenge Cathy Katherine. Cathy looked at Kisa with a look of confusion as she watched Kisa assembling a deck to use against her. Once Kisa had finished assembling her deck to use against Cathy, she readied herself to face off against her opponent.
"Duel Disk, activate," Cathy said with enthusiasm before taking off her glasses and setting something over her left eye. "Duel Gazer, on!"
"Na ne?" asked Kisa. "What's a Duel Gazer?"
"You must've been living under a rock or something," said Cathy as she chuckled in amusement.
"I've been out of the game for a while," lied Kisa. "Can ya blame me?"
"Well… I guess I could cut you a break," answered Cathy as she produced another Duel Gazer and tossed it to Kisa. "Since you're probably going to be here in Heartland City, you'll need that Duel Gazer in order to analyze the monsters when you duel.
"Consider it as a 'Welcome to Heartland City' gift from me," continued Cathy.
Kisa placed the black Duel Gazer over her left eye and activated just Cathy did. With both Duel Gazers activated, an augmented reality system came to life and the duel was starting up. Wanting to take a page from the You Show Duel School, Kisa then said, "A newcomer enters Heartland City seeking to find something." Cathy looked puzzled at first, but then smiled as she thought Kisa was an actress seeking to make their duel a bit more theatrical.
"But she meets a cat master blocking her way," chimed in Cathy.
"Time to get set and…," Kisa added as then she and Cathy finished with, "LET'S DUEL!"

"I'll activate the Continuous Spell Card, Cat Meeting," continued Cathy before setting her first monster. "Then I summon out Stray Cat in Attack Mode."

"That's all for now from me," Cathy said as she then set one card facedown. "I place this one card face down and end my turn. You're up and I hope you're not TOO rusty. This duel won't be so fun for me if that's the case."
"Alrighty then Lassie, stand back because it's my turn!" exclaimed Kisa as she drew her first card and saw that she drawn one of her Pendulum monsters and then looked at her hand before formulating her plan of attack. "Hope you didn't think that you're the only one who has a Continuous Spell Card, because I'm activatin' my own Continuous Spell Card… PHASE SHIFT!"
"Huh? Phase Shift?" asked a confused Cathy as the spell card with the picture of the Strike Gundam activating it's Phase Shift armor came to life.
"Aye, when I summon a Machine monster," began Kisa, "Phase Shift covers my machines in an energy armor that keeps them from being destroyed in battle or targeted by effects until the 2nd End Phase of the Machine monster's summonin'.
"Now, I summon out RGM-89 Jegan in Attack Mode!" exclaimed Kisa as she summoned out her first monster.

"I place two cards face down and end my turn," finished Kisa as she set two cards face down on the field.
"Hmm… an interesting move that you made," said Cathy as she analyzed Kisa's opening move. "I would've thought you'd want to sharpen your claws on one of my Stray Cats."
"Your Stray Cats may only have 100 Attack points," began Kisa, "but I'm not bloody stupid to attack them as they might have a special ability."
"Are you sure that you've been out of the game for a while?" Cathy asked Kisa as she was still a bit wary of Kisa. "You seem to be quite smart for a duelist who hasn't been dueling for a while."
"It's not like I haven't dueling for ten years or so," shot back Kisa.
"Fair point," conceded Cathy before she drew a card during her Draw Phase. "I think I'll just place this card face down and then activate the Spell card Mystical Space Typhoon!"
'Mystical Space Typhoon is a Spell card that let's you destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on field.'
"I think I'll take out your Phase Shift spell card since I think it's vital to your strategy against me," said Cathy as her Mystical Space Typhoon destroyed Kisa's Phase Shift spell card. "So much for your mobile suit being protected from me and my clot of cats.
"That's right, I know a little bit about your monster being a mobile suit from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise," continued Cathy. "I'm just shocked to hear that a girl even likes that franchise series."
"Ouch, that's a bit below the belt, Lassie," retorted Kisa before she conducted her own Draw Phase. "I summon out the Level 4 Tuner monster, RGM-79N GM Custom… in… Attack Mode!"

"Huh? Tuner monster?" asked Cathy in confusion. "You duel with Synchro monsters still?"
"Aye," answered Kisa with a nod. "I hope that's not problem."
"Hey, whatever is purrfect for you," replied Cathy as she shook her head.
"Good, because I activate Half Gundam's special ability!" exclaimed Kisa as she grabbed said monster from the near bottom of her deck. "When I summon a Tuner Monster, I'm allowed to Special Summon Half Gundam from my hand or deck!

"Next, I activate one of my facedown cards, a Spell Card called Radio Reinforcements," said Kisa as the facedown card on her right flipped face up and came to life.
'When you summon a Machine monster to the field, you can summon 1 Level 4 or below Machine monster to your field.'
"I'm summoning out the Level 4 RGM-79FD Armored GM in Attack Mode," Kisa said as she set her last card down.

"Ready for a surprise?" Kisa asked Cathy with a smirk.
"Bring it on," answered Cathy as she had her own smirk. "I'm ready for whatever you can throw at me."
"Careful of what you say," cautioned Kisa. "It might come back to bite you.
Cathy narrowed her eyes at Kisa as the Tigress Duelist continued, "I activate my Jegan's special ability! Since it's my Standby Phase, my Jegan will hit you with direct damage of 300 points, multiplied by the number of WIND attribute monsters on my field. My Jegan and GM Custom are both WIND monsters. So you take 600 points of damage!"
Kisa's Jegan raised its shield and fired off four missiles that were housed in the shield. Cathy didn't like seeing the missiles as they streaked towards her. The four missiles hit their mark and inflicted 600 points of damage on Cathy.

Cathy gritted her teeth as the smoke cleared and Kisa then said, "I activate Armored GM's special ability! When I use it to Synchro Summon a monster that doesn't have Gundam in it's name, I have to cut its level in half."

"Huh? Why did you cut your Armored GM's level in half?" a confused Cathy asked before widening her eyes. "Oh no!"
"Aye!" answered Kisa. "I tune Half Gundam with my now level 2 Armored GM!
Kisa's Half Gundam dissolved into two round green gates as her Armored GM went through the gates and became two dots of light as she continued, "The strength of two merges to become the might of one! The razor sharpness of light slices through the darkness! Synchro Summon! Lend a hand, level 4 Armory Arm!"

"Oh man," said Cathy as she witnessed the Synchro Summoning of Armory Arm. "To think someone still uses Synchro monsters now."
"Oh, I learned about Xyz Summoning," replied Kisa with a smirk on her face. "And I'll demonstrate what I learned by overlaying my GM Custom with my Jegan! With those two monsters, I build the Overlay Network! Warrior concealed by the shadows, reveal yourself upon the winds as you storm upon the battlefield! I Xyz Summon! Reveal yourself with sword in hand! RGM-89De Jegan ECOAS Type!"

Cathy watched in shock as she witnessed Kisa performing both a Synchro and Xyz Summon. The cat duelist was quite surprised to even hear the summon chants that Kisa used when she Synchro and Xyz Summoned her monsters. Despite Cathy's worries, she still was going to duel Kisa regardless.
"I activate GM Custom's special ability!" exclaimed Kisa. "When I use GM Custom in the Special Summon of a WIND attribute monster, the new WIND monster gets an extra 600 point boost in its ATK!

"I also activate Armory Arm's special ability," continued Kisa as the LIGHT attribute Machine Synchro monster began the process of docking with Kisa's Xyz monster on the field. "I can turn it into an Equip Spell Card! And I equip it to my Jegan ECOAS Type, giving it an additional 1000 ATK point boost!"

"Next I'll activate my second facedown, the Spell card, Block Attack," Kisa continued as she revealed her second facedown card.
"No!" cried Cathy as she didn't like that her strategy was being countered so quickly
"Oh aye," replied Kisa as she had the momentum in her favor. "With this spell, I can put one of your Stray Cats into Defense Mode and I choose to put the white one in Defense Mode."
The battle position of the white Stray Cat was changed into Defense Mode as it went into a box to show that it had changed battle position. Seeing the change in position shocked Cathy at first. But then Cathy smirked as she thought to herself, 'Come on now. Take the bait… and let the cat out of the bag.'
"I like cats," said Kisa, "and this is gonna hurt me a lot more than it'll hurt you. Jegan ECOAS Type, attack the grey Stray Cat now!"
The Rank 4 Xyz mobile suit then readied itself and charged at the grey Stray Cat and it revealed its face. Right as Kisa's super powered Jegan variant was about to bring down the finishing blow, Cathy then activated two of her facedown cards herself as she wasn't going to go down without a fight. The targeted Stray Cat disappeared and then in its place was a little girl dressed in a yellow rain coat and a large red umbrella with cat eyes in her hand.

Despite the new development, Cathy still took a tremendous amount of damage from the attack from Kisa's special forces variant of the RGM-89 Jegan from Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Counterattack. As the smoke cleared from the attack, Cathy's replacement monster was now in Kisa's field of view as well as the spell cards she activated.

"Nice try," said Cathy with a triumphant smirk. "But before you took out my Stray Cat, I activated the scrumptious Spell Card, Cat Food. With it, I can send 1 Stray Cat to the Graveyard so that I can summon out Stray Cat Girl! And there's another twist too. When Stray Cat Girl is in Attack Mode, she can't be destroyed in battle. Plus the cherry on top was the Quick Play Spell Card, Rush Recklessly. Until the end of the turn, my Stray Cat Girl gains an extra 700 ATK points."
"Guess it's a good thing that my Jegan ECOAS Type has a special ability of its own," countered Kisa as she smiled.
"Wait, what?" a stunned Cathy asked in surprise.
"I activate my Jegan ECOAS Type's special ability!" Kisa exclaimed as her Rank 4 WIND attribute monster readied itself for battle. "When its got an equip spell card attached to it, it can wage battle again."
"Oh no, that's bad," moaned Cathy as the ECOAS mobile suit readied itself for battle once again.
"Not that it matters, but I activate Jegan ECOAS Type's special ability," Kisa as one of the green glowing orbs that orbited Jegan ECOAS Type disappeared. "By using one Overlay Unit, Jegan ECOAS Type can negate your Stray Cat Girl's special ability. Jegan ECOAS Type, end this duel and attack Stray Cat Girl."

The duel ended as Kisa's Jegan ECOAS Type pulled out its beam saber and brought it down on the level 4 Stray Cat Girl. Cathy was rocked hard after her Stray Cat Girl was destroyed and her life points finished off.

"Wha? What's going on here?" Cathy demanded as the duel ended and Kisa put her cards away in her jacket pockets. "You duel like a pro! There's no way you've been out of the game for a while."
"I did try to warn you that it would be your funeral if you tried to duel me," replied Kisa as she was trying to walk away.
"You're not going anywhere," Cathy said before hissing and ordering her cats to stop Kisa from walking out of the mansion. "I want the truth from you. Who are you… really?"
"My name is Kisa Williamson, that part is true without a lie detector needed," answered Kisa as she slightly turned to look at Cathy. "I think you can be a better duelist if you learn to not let yourself get rattled so easily… Lassie.
"You have an interesting strategy with your Cat monsters," continued Kisa. "You use your Stray Cats to act as a shield and look to try and swarm your opponent. But as you saw, I was able to pick that strategy apart very quickly even though you managed to put in an extra layer of defense should it your first layer be taken out. I look forward to facing you again in the future when you've improved your dueling skills."
"Hold on a second, do you even have a place to stay?" Cathy asked Kisa as she held out her hand. "I can't let you just walk away and you not have a place to sleep while you're here."
"Your parents won't mind if I stay here?" Kisa asked Cathy in concern.
"It's just me and my cat friends here," answered Cathy. "My parents live elsewhere."
"Alright then, you've convinced me," replied Kisa. "I'll stay here… Lassie."
"Grr… I told you to stop calling me Lassie!" roared Cathy as she had a vein popping on her forehead.

"So you're a friend of Cathy Katherine?" Yuma Tsukumo asked Kisa as he finally met the Tigress Duelist after escaping a duel that nearly cost him his Number Card and his soul.
"Aye," answered Kisa with a nod before looking to intruder who sought to destroy the wooden statues in the Duel Sanctuary just outside of Heartland City. "But it seems that this person is looking to cause trouble. It's nothing that I can't handle. You lads and lassie can sit back and let me handle this one."
'The time for your Xyz Trial is at hand,' the Tigress Spirit said to Kisa in her mind. 'Though you have dueled, the time for you to begin demonstrating your mastery over Xyz Summoning is here and now.'
"You're going to face me in a duel?" the intruder, a former student named Kaze, asked as he looked at Kisa with disdain. "Fine then. I'll crush you and then proceed with doing what I came to do. Destroying the very heart of this sanctuary."
"We'll see about that, lad," responded Kisa as she readied herself and then pulled an unexpected surprise like she pulled when dueling against Zane Truesdale. "This duel is going to be an Action duel once I activate the Action field spell, Crossover!"
"Huh?" asked a confused Tori as she looked to her friends. "What's an Action Duel?"
"Guessing she's about to show us what an Action Duel is," answered Yuma's other friend Bronk as everyone activated their Duel Gazers.
"I might have some fun… before I destroy you and this Sanctuary," said Kaze as he released a dark aura from within him.
"We'll see about that," shot back Kisa as she narrowed her eyes at him. "But let's get down to business and…
"LET'S DUEL!" both duelists shouted as the Crossover Action Field Spell took effect and generated many floating platforms and dispersing Action Spell cards around the field of battle.
"Action cards dispersed!"
"Ladies first, Laddie," Kisa said as she drew her first card. "I summon out GAT-01 Strike Dagger, in Attack Mode!

"Next I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Greed," continued Kisa as she activated said Spell Card. "This allows me to draw to two cards from my deck!
"I activate the Spell, Radio Reinforcements!" Kisa shouted as she activated her recently drawn card.
"When you summon a Machine Monster during your Summon Phase, you may summon 1 Level 4 or below Machine monster from your hand."
"So I now summon out the Level 2 Dark attribute… TUNER monster, Gjallarhorn Mobile Worker in Attack Mode!" continued Kisa as she summoned out the selected Machine monster as per the effect of her Radio Reinforcements Spell Card.

"Huh?" asked a confused Tori Meadows as they witnessed Kisa summoning out a Tuner Monster. "How can anyone have a Tuner monster? I thought Synchro Summoning went away after Professor Fudo made that discovery which gave rise to Xyz Summoning."
"I activate Half Gundam's special ability," continued Kisa. "When I have a Level 4 or below Machine Tuner monster on my field, I can summon it from from my hand or deck.

"The downside to this is that if Half Gundam is still on my field at my End Phase," said Kisa as she looked to Kaze, "it'll be destroyed and I take 500 points of damage."
"So, uh, what's the point in summoning that monster if it's just hurt her in the end?" Yuma Tsukamo's sister, Kari asked as she had arrived with her and Yuma's grandmother.
"I activate Half Gundam's special ability," answered Kisa. "When I use it to Synchro Summon a monster with Gundam in its name, I can increase its level by 1!"

"I tune my level 3 Half Gundam with my Strike Dagger!" exclaimed Kisa. "The unflinching warrior fights to bring hope to all who yearn for it! His sword never fails to cut down those who oppress the innocent! Synchro Summon! Charge forth with the sword of hope, GAT-X105 Strike Gundam!"

"Whoa, never thought anyone had Synchro monsters anymore," Bronk said as they watched the Strike Gundam being Synchro Summoned and its Phase Shift armor being activated. "But I like that she's got Mobile Suit Gundam monsters for her deck."
"I hope she's got even more cooler mobile suits," added Yuma with the same excitement that Bronk had.
"I place one card facedown and end my turn," Kisa said as she placed her card face down.
"An interesting move you made," Kaze said with an evil smirk on his. "I'll start things off by summoning Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke in Attack Mode!
[Kaze Summoning Phase: Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke, Level: 4 ATK: 1800 DEF: 1000]
"Next I'll use the Spell, Block Attack," continued Kaze as he activated his Spell Card in hopes to gain an advantage over Kisa. "With this Spell, I can force one of your monsters into Defense Mode. And I choose your Strike Gundam! Into Defense mode with you!"
And energy from the Block Attack Spell went towards Kisa's level 6 Strike Gundam. Much to everyone's surprise, the Strike Gundam was unaffected by the effects of the Block Attack Spell card. Kaze was shocked to see this and demanded, "What's going on here?! My Block Attack should've forced your Strike Gundam into Defense Mode!"
"Sorry, but you'll not be forcing my Strike Gundam into Defense Mode," replied Kisa with her own smirk. "My Strike Gundam is equipped with Phase Shift armor!"
"So what?" challenged Kaze as he narrowed his eyes at Kisa.
"With its Phase Shift armor, it can't be destroyed in battle or targeted by effect until my 2nd End Phase," explained Kisa. "I still take battle damage though."

"Oi, Declan," Kisa said to Declan as she found Declan along with a girl who looked almost like Zuzu Boyle and heavy muscular looking man with an eye patch on his left eye, "is your job offer still on the table?"
"Yes, my offer is still on the table," Declan answered Kisa as he pressed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"Then consider this duel as my job application," replied Kisa as she leapt in front of Declan and readied her duel disk to fight back against the muscular man.
"You want to face me?" the muscular man, named Barret, asked Kisa in surprise before taking a ready stance. "Very well then girl. I'll take you on before I face him."
"Assuming you can past me in the first place," Kisa shot back at Barret. "But in the mean time…"
"Let's duel!"

"Seal off this area," Declan said to Claude over his duel disk. "No one gets in or out."
"Understood Mr. President," acknowledged Claude.
"I'll take to the offensive first," Barret said as he drew his first his card. "And I activate the spell card, Beastborg Fusioner! With this spell card, I can Fusion summon one 'Beastborg' monster. I'll fuse Panther Warrior and Dark Sentinel to create a nightmare like you've never seen before. I Fusion Summon! Come forth Beastborg Panther Predator!
(Barret Fusion Summon Phase: Panther Warrior Level 4 + Dark Sentinel Level 4= Beastborg Panther Predator Level 6 ATK: 1600 DEF: 2000)
"I'll activate my Panther Predator's special ability," continued Barret as his level 6 Dark-attribute Fusion Monster was primed to strike. "It can attack you with half of its ATK. Go my mighty Panther! Use your Quasar Beam!"
The fusion monster complied and viciously attacked Kisa with its beam attack and inflicting damage on her. Much to Barret's surprise, Kisa was yawning as if she was bored. The girl watching her bodyguard, Barret, dueling Kisa had a look of disgust at Kisa because it didn't seem as if she was taking the duel seriously like she and her classmates had been taught to do at Duel Academy. Barret looked confused as he saw Kisa looking unfazed by taking the 800 points of damage from his Beastborg monster. Was she not interested in facing him, Barret wondered. Or was she not taking him seriously, which that would've offended him.
[Kisa life points: -800= 3200]
"I end my turn with two facedown cards," finished Barret as he laid down his two facedown cards. "Let's see what you got."
"If you're even taking this duel seriously," the girl standing back said to Kisa.
"Oh aye, I am taking it seriously," Kisa replied to the girl before yawning again. "I just didn't have quite the nourishing breakfast this morning. I'll never drink decaf coffee again with a couple blueberry scones."
"That might do it," Barret replied as he was willing to give Kisa the benefit of a doubt. "But back to business, it's your turn."
"Aye it is," Kisa said with a thoughtful nod and then conducted her Draw Phase. "I'll start things off by activating the spell card Pot of Greed. This lets me draw two more cards.
Kisa then drew her two cards from Pot of Greed's effect and then said, "I send one 'RGM-79 GM' from my hand to the Graveyard so I can Special Summon the Level 4 Dark attribute Tuner Monster, Gerfangener GM in Attack Mode!"
[Kisa Special Summoning Phase 1: Gerfangener GM, Level 4 ATK: 1200 DEF: 1000]
"Tuner Monster?" the girl on the sidelines, Celina, asked in surprise. "She's a Synchro duelist?"
"I'll be activating the special ability of my Gerfangener GM," Kisa said as it was still her turn. "My Gerfangener GM gains 300 ATK for every RGM-79 GM in the Graveyard.
[Gefangener GM ATK boost: +300= 1500]
"Next, I'll be activating two spell cards," Kisa continued as she played the spell cards she wanted to use. "The first one is called Phase Shift! Whenever I have machine monsters on my side of the field, until the 2nd End Phase of the machine monster's summoning, it can't be destroyed in battle or targeted by effects."
"That'll make things difficult for Barret," Celina said aloud to herself as she continued to watch the duel.
"My second spell card is an equip spell card called Particle Alteration Saber!" Kisa exclaimed as the second spell card with the picture of a Strike Dagger cutting down a GuAIZ with a gold colored beam saber. "Thanks to this equip spell card, I can raise the ATK of one machine monster by 500 points. And I'll equip it to my Gerfangener GM."

"But before I attack you, I think I'll be returning the favor for those 800 points of damage you inflicted on me by normal summoning my level 3 Machine monster, OZ-08MMS Cancer in Attack Mode," Kisa continued as she summoned out said mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
[Kisa Summoning Phase 2: OZ-08MMS Cancer, Level: 3 ATK: 1300 DEF: 300]
"Cancer, attack our opponent directly," Kisa ordered her Water-attribute monster to surprise of Celina and Barret.
"Huh, but Barret has a monster out on the field," Celina protested to Kisa.
"It must have a special ability to allow it to attack me directly," Barret said in response to Celina's protest as he narrowed his eyes at Kisa.
"Aye, it does," confirmed Kisa with a slight nod. "Since your Beastborg Panther Predator is a Level 5 or higher monster, my Cancer mobile suit can slip past it and attack you directly."
[Beastborg Panther Predator: Level 6]

Barret was struck by Cancer's four torpedos, but quickly regained his balance and combat stance. The elite duelist from Duel Academy had a grin on his face as he was enjoying the duel and his opponent in front of him. Celina and Declan both saw this and noticed it as the duel was progressing. It was then that Cancer had shifted into Defense Mode as per its special ability as Kisa so thoughtfully explained to Barret.
"Now then, to deal with your monster," Kisa said as her first mobile suit monster was primed and ready to charge in. "Gerfangener GM, attack his Panther Predator!"
The Dark-attribute tuner monster complied and charged at the fusion monster with its golden colored beam saber at hand and ready to strike down its opponent. Genfangener GM did indeed strike down the fusion monster with little difficulty and then returned to its place in front of Kisa. Barret then looked at his field as he then smirked and began to say, "Thank you. You've triggered my Beastborg Panther Predator's special ability."
"Uh… no I didn't," countered Kisa as she shook her head.
"What are you talking about?" Celina asked as she narrowed her eyes Tigress Duelist. "His Beastborg Panther Predator is allowed to special summon the monsters that were used to summon it upon its defeat in battle."
"She's referring to the special ability of her 'Particle Alteration Saber'," Declan interjected as he looked at Celina and Barret. "Whenever a machine monster, equipped with Particle Alteration Saber, battles a monster with a special ability, the destroyed monster's special ability is negated upon its defeat."
[Barret life points: -500= 2200]
Barret then gritted his teeth upon hearing about Particle Alteration Saber's special ability. The revelation caught him by surprise as he wasn't going to be able to resurrect his Beastborg monster to try and end the duel quickly. As for Celina, she continued to watch the duel as it seemed that she might've been wrong about Kisa not taking the duel seriously. Kisa was… an interesting duelist in her eyes. Celina had never seen mobile suits before in her life and this was the first time that she saw them in person.
"I place one card facedown and end my turn," finished Kisa as she placed a facedown Trap Card.
"You have an interesting deck, my dear," Barret replied as he maintained his composure after drawing another card from his deck. "You're not the only one who has Pot of Greed. I'll activate my Pot of Greed spell card. I can draw two more cards from my deck.
"I'll now activate my Beastborg Fusioner spell card once again," Barret said as his spell card flared to life once again. "It just so happens that I have another Panther Warrior and Dark Sentinel. I Fusion Summon! Rise once again, Beastborg Panther Predator!"
[Barret Fusion Summon Phase: Panther Warrior Level 4 + Dark Sentinel Level 4= Beastborg Panther Predator Level: 6 ATK: 1600 DEF: 2000]
"I was waiting for you try that again," Kisa said with a smirk on her face.
"What?" Celina asked in surprise after hearing Kisa say she was waiting for Barret to summon his Panther Predator once again.
Declan smiled as he knew Kisa was ready for Barret and had the perfect Trap Card ready to counter his Beastborg Panther Predator. After all, the Trap Card that Kisa had ready was one that stopped him in his tracks and prevented him from devastating Kisa's Gundams and mobile suits. Barret was caught off guard as Kisa said, "I activate my Trap Card! Go! Minovsky Particles – Combat Density!"
"When you have 1 Machine Monster on your side of the field, Minvosky Particles – Combat Density negates the special abilities of all of your opponent's monsters."
"Sorry, but you'll not be slamming me with 800 points of damage courtesy of your Panther Predator," Kisa added as she smiled wickedly at Barret.
"Looks like Barret's been stopped completely," Celina said as she watched the duel. "That Minovsky Particles – Combat Density Trap Card pretty much put the brakes on Barret's strategy and he can't destroy that Cancer mobile suit because of her Phase Shift spell card protecting her machines until the 2nd End Phase of the machine's summoning."
"But it doesn't mean that I can't inflict some damage," Barret replied as he threw down another spell card. "I'll be equipping my Panther Predator with the equip spell card Fairy Meteor Crush!"
"Oh crap," Kisa replied as she didn't expect Barret to have such an equip spell card.
"Huh… guess she can't counter everything," Celina added with a wicked smirk. "Thanks to Fairy Meteor Crush, even though Barret can't destroy her Cancer in Defense Mode, he can at least still deal some piercing damage to her life points."
"Panther Predator, you heard Celina," Barret barked to his Level 6 Dark-attribute Fusion monster. "Attack that Cancer in Defense Mode and inflict the difference as damage to her life points."
The Dark-attribute fusion monster complied and attacked Kisa's level 3 monster that remained in Defense Mode. Panther Predator wasn't able to destroy the aquatic OZ mobile suit, but the backlash from the attack caused Kisa to lose 1300 life points because of the effect of Fairy Meteor Crush.
[Kisa life points: -1300= 1900]
"But I'm not done just yet," Barret said as he activated one of his facedown cards that he had set down at the beginning of the duel. "I activate my Trap Card, Beastborg Medal of the Blade! For every 100 points of damage that you took, my trap card will get 1 medal."
"She took 1300 points of damage from the backlash of his Fairy Meteor Crush," Declan said as he watched 13 medals appear on the emblem.
"Wow… a lot of medals you got there," Kisa said to Barret. "Haven't you gotten a medal for being a prisoner of war, yet?"
"Not really," answered Barret. "And I don't intend to be a prisoner of war just so I can gain such a medal. I'm now activating the effect of my Beastborg Medal of the Blade. By sending it to the Graveyard, I can increase the ATK of my Panther Predator. Again, I can't destroy your machine in battle because of your Phase Shift spell card still out on the field. But I can still inflict damage on you! But before I order my Panther Predator to attack you again, I'll activate another Trap called One-on-One Fight. Panther Predator, attack her Gerfangener GM with Cyber Blade!"
[Beastborg Panther Predator ATK boost: +1300= 2900]
The level 6 Fusion Monster then charged at its target and brought down its mighty sword as the traitorous Zeon-controlled GM tried valiantly to block the attack. The effort would not be so even though the Gerfangener GM remained standing and Kisa was out another 900 life points from the relentless counterattack of the Duel Academy warrior. Once the dust settled Barret then finished, "I'll place one card face down and end my turn. Your move young lady. Make the most of it. It could be your last."
[Kisa life points: -900= 1000]
Kisa had gotten her outfit dusty and dirty from the action of the duel before she conducted her Draw Phase. She then looked at her cards and saw that everything ready in place and she was set to retaliate with own counterattack. The Tigress Duelist then conducted her Draw Phase as she needed one more monster to complete her set counterattack strategy. Seeing that she had one of the new Pendulum monsters that Declan gave her, she needed one more Pendulum monster and things would be set for her. Kisa then looked at the card that she drew and saw that it was one of the new Pendulum Monsters that Declan had made for her. She then looked to Declan, who then gave her a slight nod, giving her the green light to strike back. But before she launched her counterattack, Kisa then looked to Celina and Barret and asked, "So you two are fine with stripping away someone's home… their livelihood and innocence for a bloodthirsty bastard who wants to create some whacked out concept of a new world?"
"Huh? How dare you say that about the Professor," snarled Barret.
Celina couldn't help but snicker at Kisa's question to her and Barret. The bluenette was impressed with Kisa's audacity to call the head of Duel Academy a bloodthirsty bastard and gained some form of respect for the Tigress Duelist. As for Declan, he too was impressed with her nerve and audacity to call out his own father for what he was. Barret had changed his view on Kisa, but he did have to admit that she had some backbone for insulting Leo Akaba as he was dueling her. Kisa then looked at Declan once again and he shook his head as he knew she wanted to unleash her Trans-AM Roar against Barret. Declan didn't want Duel Academy to be given everything on a silver platter and he wanted her Trans-AM Roar to be a trump card.
"You think you've got the upper hand against me, but that's a sad mistake you've made," Kisa said to Barret as she narrowed her eyes at her opponent.
"Oh?" Barret challenged Kisa as he was interested. "And how's that?"
"With this!" Kisa exclaimed as she showed him and Celina two of her Pendulum monsters. "I call on Scale 2 Ootsukigata and Scale 10 Gundam Tristan to set the Pendulum Scale in motion!
"I've taken command and am launching my counterattack!" Kisa continued as she threw down her two Pendulum monsters in their Pendulum Zones.
Then two mobile suits appeared from the ground rose on flanking sides of Kisa as she continued, "I can now summon monsters that are Levels 3 through 9 all at the same time. Swing Pendulum! Allow this Tigress to let out the resounding roar of victory! I… Pendulum Summon!
Three additional monsters then descended on to the battlefield, shocking Barret and Celina both as they weren't expecting Kisa to summon three monsters in one shot. The three monsters were indeed more mobile suits that came to reinforce her Gerfangener GM and aquatic OZ mobile suit.
"Launch and charge forward with your Sword of Light, M1Astray," Kisa said as the first mobile suit became visible to the spectators and her opponent. "Launch and confound your enemies with your speed, Gundam Pixy. Launch and soar on the Winds of Light, Murasame!"
"What's a Pendulum Summon? How did you do that?" Barret asked as he was in complete shock at the sight of Kisa Pendulum Summoning in front of him.

"It's quite easy, but that's not important right now," answered Kisa. "What's important is defeating you!
Kisa continued, "I activate Gerfangener GM's special ability. I can lower the level of 1 monster by 1 when I perform a Synchro Summon with it. I lower the level of my Cancer mobile suit."

"I tune my level 4 Gerfangener GM with my now Level 2 Cancer," Kisa said as she kept up her momentum. "Out of dark intentions and rage comes a Warrior of Light! Let the souls of two become one! Synchro Summon! Unite and become one, RX-79BD3 Blue Destiny Unit 3!"
[Kisa Synchro Summon Phase 1: Gerfangener GM Level 4+ OZ08MMS Cancer Level 2= RX-79BD3 Blue Destiny Unit 3 Level: 6 ATK: 2400 DEF: 1500]
Both Kisa's Gerfangener GM and Cancer dissipated and joined together to become the more powerful variant of the RX-79 G Gundam Ground Type from 08th MS Team. Given what Celina was seeing, Kisa seemed to be someone who could challenge Duel Academy's best duelists… perhaps even Obelisk Force should they try to take her back to Duel Academy by force. Plus seeing Kisa's mobile suits was quite revealing to her as she was trying to get an idea of what she might have to face should she have to cross decks against her in the near future. But right at that moment, Kisa didn't seem to wanna be an enemy with her.
"But I'm not done with you yet," Kisa said to Barret as she narrowed her eyes at him. "As much as I wanna bring out another Synchro Monster against you, I think I'll be bringing something new to the battlefield to bring the pain against you.
Barret narrowed his eyes at Kisa as she continued, "I overlay my Level 4 Murasame, Level 4 M1Astray and Level 4 Gundam Pixy in order to build the Overlay Network! Ancient fairy of old, evolve and gain new powers to face threats of the ancient past and foes from the future! I… Xyz SUMMON! Appear upon the sunrise… Rank 4 GAT-X105PS Pixie Strike Gundam!"
Declan smirked as he saw one of Kisa's designed cards in action for the first time on the dueling field of battle. The mobile suit had white, pink, red and a few spots of yellow on its armor. Aside from the three glowing golden orbs orbiting the mobile suit, the Xyz mobile suit had a beam rifle in one hand and a shield in the other hand while it sported two beam sabers on rack set in the white hip armor. Celina was in awe of the feminine designed mobile suit, but hated that it was an Xyz Monster instead of a Fusion Monster… or maybe even a Synchro Monster that she could possibly tolerate.
[Kisa Xyz Summon Phase: Murasame Level 4 + M1Astray Level 4 + Gundam Pixy Level 4= Pixie Strike Gundam Rank: 4 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000]
"Where does she come up with these mobile suits as she called them?" Celina asked herself aloud. "Some of them are really cool looking. I wouldn't mind getting some of them, but they'd throw off my deck's theme and effectiveness."
"I'll now be activating the field spell Junk Guild Bazaar," Kisa said as she activated her last card which had a picture of many people looking at repaired and refurbished mobile suits. "With this field spell, I can bring back one equip spell card from the graveyard once per turn. But there's a downside to this."
"Oh? And what would that be?" Barret asked Kisa.
"If I immediately activate the equip spell card that I bring back from the Graveyard on the same turn, that its special ability is automatically negated," explained Kisa as she recovered her only equip spell card. "But that doesn't matter to me as I equip my Particle Alteration Saber to my Pixie Strike Gundam. With that, Pixie Strike Gundam still gains 500 ATK points."

"I activate the Pendulum ability of my Ootsukigata," Kisa said to Barret as her first Pendulum Monster transformed into its mobile armor form and charged up its high energy beam cannon. "Once per turn, I can lower the ATK of one of your monsters by 400 points.
[Beastborg Panther Predator ATK reduction: -400= 2500]
"I now activate the Pendulum Ability of my Gundam Tristan," continued Kisa as said Gundam-type mobile suit began to glow. "I can raise the ATK of any monsters on my side of the field that have 'Gundam' in their name by 500 points."
"Her Pixie Strike Gundam meets that requirement," Celina said as she listened to Kisa explain her Gundam Tristan's Pendulum Ability.
[Pixie Strike Gundam ATK: +500= 3500]
"Now Pixie Strike Gundam, attack his Beastborg Panther Predator!" exclaimed Kisa as the Rank 4 Light-attribute Machine monster moved against its target, bringing down its golden colored beam saber down on it. "And don't forget about my Minovsky Particles – Combat Density trap card still in play. You can't bring back the monsters you used to Fusion Summon your Panther Predator."
[Barret Life Points: -1000= 1200]
"Finally, I'll finish you off while I have the chance," finished Kisa. "Blue Destiny Unit 3… finish off Barret and end this duel for good!"
The Level 6 Light-attribute machine Synchro Monster drew its beam saber from its ankle holster and then charged at Barret. The elite duelist from Duel Academy gritted his teeth as he didn't have a way to protect himself and Kisa's Minovsky Particles – Combat Density trap had completely shut down his Beastborg Panther Predator's special abilities. Celina watched as the powerful variant of the RX-79 [G] Gundam Ground Type brought its beam saber down on Barret, claiming the last of his life points and knocking him down on his back.

"You seem to have improved from our duel against each other at You Show," Declan said to Kisa as he applauded her duel. "You're hired, by the way."
