Chapter 35 Darkness
Xehenort's POV
The Next Day
We had been sent by Master Odin to clear a world that had been over-run by Heartless.
"Was that the last of them", Eraqus asked.
He got his answer…when the ground began to shake!
"What's that", Baldr asked.
He got his answer…when an Guard Armour Heartless appeared.
"Looks like we have one more", Eraqus said. "Let's do this everybody!"
"Right", everybody said.
Then, we got to work on taking out the Heartless.
"Alright", Eraqus started. "Here's the plan. Guard Armour Heartless break into different pieces if you hit them enough. Let's aim for that so that we can each work on taking out a different piece separately."
"Aye aye captain", Vor said.
"Excuse me Eraqus", Baldr started. "I don't remember on any of us agreeing to make you the leader of the group."
"I keep on getting the highest marks in tests", Eraqus pointed out. "I think that gives me the qualifications to be the leader of the group."
"He has a point Bragi", Hermod pointed out.
"Whatever you say", Bragi said before changing the subject. "Come on! Let's take this Heartless down!"
With that, we got to work on putting Eraqus' plan into motion.
A few moments later, the Heartless broke into pieces.
"It's just like you said Eraqus", Hermod said.
"Told ya", Eraqus bragged. "Now everybody! Split up and attack its individual pieces!"
With that, we began doing as Eraqus told.
However. A few moments later…the Heartless began to put itself back together.
"It's putting itself back together", Erasmus pointed out. "Regroup everybody!"
We all tried to do as Eraqus asked. However, when we did, something happened.
Vor was attacking one of the hands, and as she tried to run away…it grabbed onto her!
"Vor", I yelled out in dismay.
The Heartless' hand had now returned to it's body.
Vor tried to get out of it's grasp, but she could not free herself.
"I can't get out", she revealed in dismay. "Please get me out guys!"
With that, we charged at the Heartless, but when we did…it swiped at us with its hand!
We were all hit by it, and were pushed back to the ground.
I looked up, and saw that Bragi was still standing.
And then…I noticed something coming from him.
I noticed…Darkness.
"Darkness", I whispered in dismay.
Then…BragI managed to defeat the Heartless and rescue Vor.
And he did so…using the power of Darkness.
We all run up to him and Vor.
"Are you okay Vor", Hermod asked in concern.
"I'm fine", Vor replied. "Thanks to Bragi!"
"That was awesome", Eraqus exclaimed. "I've never seen you fight like that Bragi!"
"Neither have I", Baldr said.
"I've been doing some extra training", Bragi stated. "Can't let Eraqus beat me, now can I?"
"Hey", Eraqus said, making everybody laugh.
But while they were laughing…I was left confused.
Bragi used the power of Darkness. Did they not see it?
