Chapter 39 Use Darkness to Save Vor?
Xehanort's POV
"We must have faith that Vor will get better."
It had been a year since Master Odin said that…and Vor had not gotten better.
In fact…the opposite was happening. Her health condition was only getting worse and worse.
Though non of my classmates or I wanted to admit it, we all knew that if something did not happen…Vor would not make it.
Currently, I was sitting next to her as she laid in bed.
She looked so frail. So weak.
I hated it.
"Hey Vor", I greeted. "How are you feeling?"
"The same", Vor replied. "Hey, Xehanort?"
"Yes Vor", I asked.
"Am I doing to die?"
Hearing Vor say this, as well as seeing the look on her face as she did so, broke my heart.
But, it also filled me with determination.
"Of course not Vor", I reassured said person. "How could you say such a thing?"
"But…", Vor started.
"No buts", I said interrupting Vor. "Listen to me Vor, you are going to be okay. You are going to live. I promise."
That Night
I knocked on the door of Bragi's room, as he had asked me to come and see him in private.
After I had knocked on Bragi's door, said person opened it.
"Xehanort", he started. "Good. You're here. Please come inside."
With that, I walked into Bragi's room and he closed the door.
"So", I started. "What is it that you wanted to talk about, and why did you want to talk about it in private?"
With that…Bragi took a deep breath before giving his answer.
"Do you remember what I asked you a year ago", he started. "I asked you if you it was really bad to use the power of darkness if it was to help someone, and you agreed that it wasn't."
"Yeah", I started. "I did, but why are you asking this?"
"Xehanort", Bragi started. "What if we used the power of darkness to save Vor?"
This took me by surprise.
"Use the power of darkness to save Vor", I asked in shock.
"Xehanort", Bragi started. "You and I both know that her condition is getting worse. If we don't do something…we're going to loose her too."
I didn't want to admit it, but Bragi was right.
"But", I started. "How would we even use the power of darkness to save Vor?"
"I'm not sure", Bragi replied. "But I was thinking of traveling to other worlds to figure that out. Xehanort, will you go with me?"
The Next Day
Eraqus' POV
Hermod was telling the rest of us some news.
"I see", Master Odin started. "So Xehanort and Bragi have left?"
"Yes Master Odin", Hermod replied. "I found a letter about it in Bragi's room."
"Did they say why they left", Baldr asked.
"It said that they were going to try and find a way to cure Vor's condition", Hermod replied.
"Cure Vor's condition", I asked. "How?"
