Hope to get back to my story of Spidey being in a Heroes Reborn styled Earth but I might do a new story of Spidey in a Squadron Supreme styled Earth. This is based on the concurrent Heroes Reborn storyline only the Squadron are more genuinely heroic. I am enjoying the comics I have read of the event so far but my biggest disappointment so far is the Siege Society oneshot since I was hoping to find the details of the Civil War between Hyperion and Nighthawk.
Peter Parker had been a shy bullied science prodigy growing up but was into superheroes and was a huge fan of the Squadron Supreme especially Hyperion; he was also interested in the stories of the legendary World War II hero Captain America. He was 15 years old when he had managed to put together his own flying robotic camera drone and it caught the attention of his favourite hero the alien Eternal and leader of the Squadron; Hyperion. His drone camera technology allowed him to capture footage of Hyperion's fights up close while he was at a safe distance; it helped him get a paid internship at the Daily Bugle news network.
He actually got to meet with Hyperion more as he was happy enough to sign everything with his name on that Peter would bring to him and answer his questions about life as a superhero. He actually was able to help him with reverse engineering villain tech brought to the young scientist to find out how to stop it or find their source. Soon Peter had grown a reputation as Hyperion's best pal and though they were scared for his saftey; his Aunt May and Uncle Ben couldn't help but he proud of him.
Plus the reputation of being Hyperion's best pal pretty much scared bullies away from him in case Hyperion came after him but he did feel that the sudden popularity felt nice.
Plus some misadventures caused him to temporarily gain powers of his own when thanks to an infestation of insects from the Negative Zone; he became a spider-human hybrid. Occurrences and shenanigans made Peter feel like this was some sort of Parker Luck.
Out of college Hyperion actually took him to meet the rest of the Squadron and it was a bit nervous though Nighthawk was aloof and considered him a reckless idiot putting himself in unneeded danger; the other Squadron members were welcoming to him. Peter was nervous upon seeing the beautiful Zarda Shelton better known as Power Princess the long lived and practically immortal warrior princess of the island of Utopia which were descended from humans experimented on by the alien Kree in ancient time. She was the founding Squadron member who had been in action the longest due to having fought in World War II and worked with Captain America. Zarda could see that Peter was awestruck and actually bent from her tall Amazon esque form to take his hand and shake so that he could get a view of her cleavage.
Hyperion took no humour for this and told Zarda not to play with Peter; well Peter was still in awe at Zarda as it was easy to have a fanboy crush on her. Her beautiful features and body in her black leotard with gold armor plates; plus she was super nice to her fans as a contrast to how she fought against monsters with a hint of a love for battle.
Sometime later he was a guest at a charity ball with the Squadron with a big raffle to win a date with Zarda; Doctor Spectrum had suggested Peter enter as a joke and Peter was red in the face but Zarda told him to do so in fun and she would pay for the entry fee herself. Of course they were stunned when Peter's name was brought out as the winner as they didn't think it would seriously be a possible outcome.
Still Peter was treated out by Zarda who looked amazing in her dress as Peter wore the best clothes that he got from his Uncle Ben and Zarda was pretty much the perfect date; kind and welcoming and trying to make him feel good about himself. He ended up saying things that embarrassed him but Zarda thought that he was cute. Zarda told him of the things that he had accomplished with his inventing was to be admired but Peter thought that it was nothing compared to Zarda whose accomplishments including beheading Hitler. The date was interrupted by one of Zarda's most persistent foes; Loki the Norse trickster god and the last one after Ragnarok. Zarda offered to take him out on another one to make it out for it and somehow they had ended up dating.
Hyperion had told Peter he could make his own choices as an adult but Peter could tell how obvious it was that he disapproved. Hyperion still saw him as the wide eyed teenager that was basically his sidekick.
Right now Peter was tied up in a warehouse and was keeping his cool as he had discretely activated on his special watch a signal for one of his camera drones to find him and send the feed and signal to Hyperion for him to find. He was no stranger to being kidnapped and so this was a precaution.
His captor was a woman with dark orange fur and sharp claws; she was Trish Walker who was a child TV star (whose show 'It's Patsy' was called one of the worst shows that they had ever seen on TV) turned TV personality who was a friend of Zarda. She had turned out to be jealous of Zarda's powers and status as a hero and had ended up stealing a cursed Utopian dagger to gain powers but it turned her into her Hellcat form and she couldn't control it. She tried to be a hero but was pretty brutal with even the slightest criminals and ended up endangering people that she tried to save. Zarda had to take her down and she became another of her arch enemies.
"This is kind of boring; you know Emil Burbank had nice cool looking lairs when he held me hostage..." Peter drawled as Trish snarled at her.
"Laugh while you kind; when the oh so perfect Power Princess gets here she will bare witness as I slit her throat. It will be my best victory over here so far as I kill her pet in front of her." Trish snarked at her as Peter looked angry.
"I am no pet... What's so funny..." Peter replied as Trish had became laughing while shaking her head.
"You do realise how long she has been alive right and how long she will outlive you by? She hasn't aged from the time that your grandparents were just learning to spell. Your life is pretty insignificant to you. Your time with her will be miniscule to her's in no time at all for her you will be dead by old age or my slitting your throat. She either feels sorry for you or you're just a boy toy for her to spend the time with." Trish snapped in his face as Peter thought over his words and tried to dispute it.
Then suddenly through the wall was Hyperion whose punch sent her flying; she snarled that she wanted Zarda but Hyperion shook her head. "You didn't think that I would get here first when you dared to kidnap my best pal?" Hyperion asked in disbelief as Zarda was not that far behind looking at Peter in concern as she untied him and Trish was knocked out with a punch. Agents would come to bring her back to the Raft.
"I saw the footage." Zarda told him looking down as Peter was a bit afraid of what she said but she gently took his chin and have him look up to her. "You are no pet to me Peter; you are one of the most special guys that I have ever met. A perfect nice guy in the form of a cute nerd; willing to work with the risks of being Hyperion's helper despite being a normal human. You are one of the best and bravest guys I have ever met; it's easy for us Squadron members to be brave when we have all our power." Zarda told him with a soft voice as Peter smiled knowing that she was being truthful. Hyperion shook his head as the two of them shared a kiss.
"Do you want to stay here with your disapproving superhero dad or should we go to my place and slip out of these clothes?" Zarda asked as Peter was red in the face and smiled; he didn't know how his body was still in one peace after their nights together...
200 years later Zarda having not aged was with her adult son Ben who had become a hero known as the Power Prince was at the grave of Peter; every year without fail they would go to his grave and leave flowers on his birthday. Any villain that dared try to stop her on this date would be met with no mercy from her. She smiled and kissed the headstone while looking at the tattoo that she carved on her shoulder of a love heart with Peter's name on it.
"See you next year Peter." Zarda Parker said as she left with Ben.
Hellcat is based on the original Heroes Reborn one who was an enemy of the Avengers in that story as well as Trish Walker from Season 2 and 3 of Squadron Supreme. Also would you believe it is Marvel canon that Hitler was killed by the original robot Human Torch? But how that works when due to time travel Deadpool caused Hitler's death and went back faking his real life death in his room for his soldiers to hear.
The talk of Peter being Zarda's pet was inspired by the season 1 finale of the amazing Amazon Prime original show Invincible which was also in the original comics. I love that show but fare warning; if the ending of the first episode alone was too much for you then stay as far away as possible from the season finale. Your heart will not take it.
