Several hours later, Apple and Raven were returning to the girls' dorms, Apple with some crutches as her left leg was in a cast and Raven with a sling for her left arm.

"Can't believe I didn't realize that my arm was hurt," said Raven.

"You had a lot of adrenaline pumping through you from the fall, so of course you wouldn't have noticed until you started to calm down," said Apple. The two then stopped at a bench outside the girls' dorm so they could take a break.

"Well it wasn't just that," said Raven.

"I was also afraid because I hurt my girlfriend," she said while using her good hand to grab Apple's left hand.

"Sorry to have hurt you, my brave witch," said Apple before leaning in and kissing her.

"Hate to interrupt," said Briar as she stood at the nearby door.

"But you two are late for the party," she said while motioning inside where they could hear music playing.

"Sorry, it was hard to walk back here," said Apple as the two stood up and headed toward her.

"Next time don't try to be a hero," said Briar.

"And allow my witch to get hurt by herself, never," said Apple with a sly grin. Apple and Raven then walked into the lobby of the girls' dorm where they were having a welcome party for the Enchantimals.

"You outdid yourself once again, Briar," said Raven.

"Raven, Apple," said Danessa who had been at the nearby punch bowl and once she saw them she headed over to them.

"We heard what happened to you, are you both alright?" she asked.

"A little banged up, but nothing too bad compared to what else we have been through," said Raven.

"You got hurt while setting up that banner for us, I'm sorry for all the trouble," said Danessa while looking down at the ground with a sad expression.

"Like Raven said, we've been through worse, most of which was at Apple Ball practice, so there's no need to worry, Danessa," said Apple.

"Hey, we just cut the cake, do you girls want some?" asked Rosabella from the nearby table.

"Sounds good," said Raven as she went to get some for her and Apple. She would use her magic to bring them over as she only could carry one with her good hand.

"Wish I had someone to treat me like she does you," said Briar to her BFFA.

"You could if you would confess," said Apple with a quick glance at Faybelle who was sitting alone.

"And you know that it's not such an easy thing to do," said Briar as she blushed a bright shade of pink.
