The next morning, Briar was talking with Apple and Raven over breakfast.
"You're really planning to ask her out today?" asked a shocked Apple. She was talking in a low voice so no one else around them would be able to hear her.
"Yeah, I thought it over last night after the party and figured it was about time that I did so," said Briar.
"But I'm not sure how I should do it, so I wanted to ask which of you confessed and how," she said.
"I accidentally confessed during a fight we were having in our room, and then things just happened from there," said Apple as she and Raven both blushed at the mere mention of this.
"That doesn't help," said Briar.
"What are you three talking about?" asked Patter Peacock as she walked up to them along with Flap.
"Briar wants to confess to her crush but has no clue how to go about it," said Raven once Patter had sat down so that she could talk in a low voice.
"Oh, in that case she should just be herself, call this person to meet you in a spot that no one else can overhear you, that way you don't have to be so nervous about others finding you," said Patter.
"Thanks, Patter, that helped," said Briar with a smile.
"Anytime," said Patter while she fed a carrot to Flap who was sitting next to her.
"It always surprises me at how calm all of your animal friends are," said Raven as she looked around and noticed that they were all behaving and sitting next to the Enchantimals.
"Just because we may be a little wild does not mean we are uncivilized," said Patter as she continued to feed Flap.
"I never said anything about being uncivilized," said Raven.
"Oh, I know, I was just saying that because some people think that way about us," said Patter. Before another word could be said, the whole castleteria was filled with screams.
"That's not good," said Apple as they looked at a table where a bunch of girls had been hit by water balloons.
"Felicity, Sage!" said Patter.
"Kitty!" said Raven at the same time.
"Busted," said the three while standing on the catwalk with another set of water balloons ready to be sent out.
