That evening after classes had ended, Briar had called Faybelle out to The Dragon Barn which had not been used in a long time.

"Alright, why did you call me out here?" asked Faybelle.

"There's something important I had to tell you, and I don't want anyone else hearing us," said Briar who was looking at the ground, her face a bright shade of red.

"And what's that?" asked Faybelle.

"I've had a crush on you for a while now and was wondering if you would go out with me," said Briar. A minute of silence then fell on them before Faybelle began to laugh, making Briar feel bad.

"Sorry, I'm not laughing at you," said Faybelle as she tried to get herself under control.

"I've just thought that it's about time you confessed to me," she said while smiling at Briar.

"Wait, what?" asked Briar.

"Did you really think I hadn't realized you have a crush on me, you're always there at hexleading practice when I am and I've seen you glancing at me at lunch a few times," said Faybelle.

"Ugh, can someone just hex me to death?" asked Briar as she turned red with embarrassment and hid her face behind her hands.

"But if someone did that then I couldn't do this," said Faybelle before grabbing Briar's hands and moving them away from her face inorder to kiss the daughter of Sleeping Beauty. At first, Briar was shocked but she soon kissed back while a light came from their lips.

"Wait," said Briar as she pulled out of the kiss.

"You actually like me back?" she asked while looking into the eyes of the young dark fairy.

"Of course dummy, I've always liked you, just didn't trust how others would feel about it," said Faybelle who was the one to blush this time.

"Well there's no need to worry any more," said Briar with a cheerful smile. Meanwhile, in the lobby of the girls' dorm.

"Sorry," said Apple as she got a hext in the middle of a movie with Raven and a few others.

"Guess which princess just got with a dark fairy," said Apple with a smile as she read the hext before putting her phone away.

"About time," said Cerise who was sitting with one arm wrapped around Cedar's shoulder.

"I'll have to make a cake for them," said Ginger.

"Just don't make it as big as the one you made for Apple and me, even all of the students in the school weren't enough to finish it," said Raven.

"Don't remind me," said Cedar who looked ready to toss her cookies at the mention of this cake.
