Jackie's an Elf. Her background is mixed up, a lot, with dwarfs. It's not hard to tell she's not the same as the other elves, even her name is not a proper elf one. When Thorin and company are captured in Mirkwood it becomes harder and harder to hide her past from the dwarf hating society she now lives in, and misunderstandings with the prince arise.
