At the bottom of the secret staircase, the five entered a room with a large round table where the rest of the group was seated.
"About time all of you got here," said Cerise. Seated with her was Hunter, Ashlynn, Briar, Darling, Kitty, and Daring, all of whom were bored from waiting on Raven and them to arrive.
"We got held up in class, Professor Rumpelstilskin wouldn't let us out for anything" said Cupid while taking her seat.
"And these two were flirting at the entrance waiting on us this whole time," said Faybelle as she pointed to Apple and Raven.
"You're just jealous that I have a girlfriend when you have been too scared to even confess," said Raven.
"Let's get back on topic here everyone," said Giles Grimm as he entered the room.
"We get more information on your brother's plan?" asked Apple.
"Our actions have caused a backlash to it, people are fighting against their destinies even more which is infuriating Milton," said Giles.
"And that means he'll be getting desperate to keep the stories in line," said Daring.
"He's already doing it," said Cerise as she got a hext from Cedar.
"He's called for a surprise assembly in an hour, and I'm going to give you one guess at what he's planning," she said.
"He's going to up the date on our signing the Storybook of Legends," said Briar.
"Even so you all need to be careful, my brother could have anything planned to help him force you to do so," said Giles.
"Don't worry, we'll keep our guards up," said Raven while standing. The group then left to go to the assembly.
"Do you think they'll really be able to pull this off?" asked Giles once he was alone.
"They have to," said the Evil Queen as she appeared in a mirror with purple smoke around her.
"Because if they fail then nothing can stop him," she said.
