Apollo's POV
IT's been nearly a month since I left New York, I ended up in a forest which made me immediately think of Artemis and spend a day walking until I found a town or a cabin, something where I can stay. It was midday when i found myself in front of a pair of large gates, almost as tall as the ones on Olympus. Damn. Two men are standing at the entrance of the gates, one man asked some questions "Hello, what is your name and what is your reason to come to Konoha?" He had a bandage wrapped on the middle of his face and spiky hair while his friend had his chin covered and his hair was down on one side of his face. I didn't want to give away my real name so i had to think of a name quickly so I blurted out "Kin..." clearing my throat "My name is Kin and I'm here to speak to your boss about moving to your village" They stared at me for a minute "Ok, you'll want to speak to the Hokage, Izumo will escort you to the Hokage Tower." Izumo raised his hand gesturing me to follow him. "Thank you" i smiled to the men.
Izumo and I spent at least 10 minutes walking down the street of various shops, people negotiating different prices, families smiling and having fun, children laughing and running past him chasing each other. In the distance, I can see a tall red tower that had a Kanji for fire. Suddenly I was in front a door that had a name on it
*Sarutobi Hiruzen, Third Hokage*
Izumo knocked on the door 'Come in" a voice answered, He opened the door and told Sarutobi that a visitor want to talk to him "Let him come in Izumo-san" He steeped out of the way and closed the door when i walked into the room. "So what would you like to speak to me about Mr ?" He gestured me to come stand in front of his desk "Kin. My name is Kin...I...came to your village so seek refuge, you see," I didn't want to lie (I mean the god of truth telling a lie? Come on.) "My family and I were ambushed when we were travelling to the nearest village. We stopped for the night, my father told us that we were only a days walk away so we went to bed early. Late in the night we were attacked by bandits. They stole most of our stuff and killed everyone. My sister, mother, and father. I was found still alive and was healed for weeks. I left because I didn't want to be found by the bandits again so i travelled for days and found myself outside of your village gates. I would very much appreciate it if I was given permission to live in your village." I bowed during the last part, Of course I didn't him to look at my face and figure out i was lying. (I'm not a very good liar, Hermes was the better liar)
Maybe it was a minute of silence "Anbu" A man wearing a uniform with a wolf mask on his face appeared out of thin air, kneeling down besides me "Yes Lord Hokage?" Sarutobi handed him a piece of paper "give this to the woman in housing." I looked at Sarutobi in surprise, smiling that he believed me "Thank you very much Lord Hokage"
The anbu had me follow behind him as we walked to the housing. He didn't even knock on the door, he just walked in. He gave the paper to the woman sitting at the desk "Lord Hokage sends this man to you so he can find a home here in the Hidden Leaf Village." In a puff of smoke, he disappeared. I sat down in the chair in front of the woman's desk. (Normally i would start flirting with a woman as sexy as her but i'm still upset about what happened)
(Time Skip)
Let's just say I got a 1 bedroom apartment with full amenties, water, heating, electricity. Now i had to find a job. it'll look weird if i just had money to pay for rent, food, and bills and have no job. so I better start applying. She gave a 2 keys and wrote down the address. My apartment is in the orange zone of the village which meant that i wasnt poor but didn't have a lot of cash.
There are 3 zones to this place.
The green zone are places where people are up in the social standing. With better paying jobs and 2x better apartments/houses.
The orange zone is where I'm staying. The first month is free so I don't have to worry about paying rent for the month.
The red zone is for people who don't have jobs/or do have jobs but don't pay basically anything. So they had to get creative to pay rent. (I feel bad for them but at the same time, I'm glad I'm not living in the red zone)
Standing in front a door, i unlock it with my key and walked in (This place needs a good cleaning) Checking out the place (I shouldve flirted with the woman so I could've gotten a better place in the green zone) I open the bag I brought with me from Olympus, inside was clothes, a picture album, and my medical books. I also had some money to pay for food, (Even though I'm a god and don't need it since I eat ambrosia and nectar), supplies, and bedding.
Walking out my door, I also took this opportunity to go around and ask for a job application form. Going into stores for my said items. I came back to my apartment with at least 10 bags and got to work.
Finally my place is clean and i can finally relax, I fell on my bed, and stared up at my ceiling. Soft music playing on my phone in the background. 'I'm not going to spend eternity in this village, I'll go back only if I'm ready to face my family again.' placing a hand over my heart. The bond was broken but it feels like it's still breaking. I know I can be a screw-up, a flirtatious bastard, a player, sex-addict. But that doesn't mean I can't feel emotions. Tears are flowing down my face and i had no intentions of wiping them away. They slide down the side of my face onto my new blanket, leaving a small wet spot. (I wonder if Artemis told mom about what happened? Probably)
"I wonder how Gwen is doing?" I spoke out loud 'Probably honorly discharged from the hunters because she isn't a virgin anymore of course Artemis would've let her keep her hunting gear. I wonder if I should've met with her before leaving. The others would try and shoot me dead if they saw me'
(Another time skip and place)
NO ONE"S POV
Frantically searching all over the world twice exhausted the moonlight out of Artemis, no one hasn't seen Apollo anywhere. She throughly believed that he was driving the sun chariot across the sky. It was on autopilot.
After the talk with Gwen and going to Apollo's temple on Olympus, Artemis demanded a audience with the other gods.
*Flashback*
Artemis pacing back and forth in the council room as the other gods and goddesses are flashing into the room. "Artemis, my daughter, tell me why you summoned an audience?" Zeus asked his daughter "I called you all to talk about what happened with Apollo" She answered with the best of her ability "Great! What did sun germ do this time? create a plague? slept with a nymph that you were going to make a hunter?" She flinched a little "Or did he..." Dionysus was about to keep going until "ENOUGH... It isn't any of those" She stared at him with a promise of pain "Please Artemis, your brother is always getting into trouble, if this is about his constant flirting with our huntresses, you are wasting our time" Hera sneered, not liking that her step-daughter called them to a council for nothing "NO, I CALLED YOU ALL HERE BECAUSE APOLLO IS MISSING"
"What? What do you mean Apollo is missing? Apollo's chariot is driving across the sky, so he is here" Athena spoke up "No, his chariot is on autopilot, I went to go see him..." Artemis was about to explain when Aphrodite spoke next with a giggle "What...YOU...you, Artemis who hates having her twin brother around and constantly threatening him to slice his manhood off if he so much as flirts with your hunters, went to visit him willingly?" Ares had to laugh with her.
"EVERYONE BE QUIET. I WANT TO HEAR ARTEMIS' EXPLANATION" Zeus let out a powerful voice that makes everyone quiet, Hera gave him an eye roll before leaning her head on her hand thinking that this is still a waste of time
"One of my hunters, named Gwen, was attacked by a mortal. she blamed herself for not paying closer attention to her surroundings and he assaulted her. Apollo was on his way to come bother me for something i guess when he heard gwen calling for help. He ended up witnessing Gwen's assault and saved her. he killed the mortal and destroyed the body. Apollo was in the middle of healing her when i came up from behind and pulled him off and attacked him because" she took a deep breathe "I thought he raped Gwen."
The goddess of the hearth; Hestia, knew where this is going. Hestia felt a bond break and she wanted to believe she was wrong. She continued to listen to Artemis' story which held the other gods attention including Hera for some reason. It wasn't a secret that she absolutely hated Zeus' children
"After I beat him for at least 15 minutes, I broke off my family bond with him." Hestia clamped a hand over her mouth to keep her from crying out loud "I took Gwen back to the camp, She's been in a small coma for a few days. She woke up and told me the truth. I went to Apollo's temple and tried to apologize to him. I was talking to an empty room. I checked all over the world twice, i checked his chariot and i checked his favourite places. He simply vanished" At the end, her voice trembled. Her face still strong, she willed her eyes not to show any tears.
"Father, what should we do?" For the goddess of Wisdom, she always had the answer. For this, she didn't
"Find him" Zeus spoke softly
"FIND HIM" He spoke louder
"FIND APOLLO AND BRING HIM BACK TO OLYMPUS"
