On what is now known in the multiverse as Earth 807128. An Earth that was vastly different than what is considered the main verse of Earth 616, where the Super Villians rather than fighting their respected heroes repeatedly or going on to fight others at times. They all joined forces one day to overthrow the heroes for good. It worked with flying colors as they managed to take the majority of the major heroes that existed and craved up at least the United States of America into their old various domains that they would rule for decades upon decades. Those heroes that did not die during the taken over survived in their own ways or pretty much became villains themselves as a result of what happened.
Fifty years later...
James "Logan" Howlett was still alive and that was not because the villains could not come with a method to kill Wolverine. They did not need to as they managed to break the Wolverine instead. The villains never had to deal with the X-men during their take over because they managed to use Mysterio. Getting him to trick him that the X-Men were villains that he promptly killed off as result. Though Mysterio himself did not live much longer because he was promptly killed off himself as they manage to break the Wolverine that night the heroes fell. They did not need someone around that possibly get him back in shape as revenge can motive someone into doing things that would normally be impossible or thought of by them previously. They never wanted Wolverine to recover from that night as the last thing they need was for the heroes they could not kill or managed to get away to have means to gather together again
He eventually became just a normal farmer and a family man. After learning that the Hulk Gang got bored waiting for him to gather the rent money he owe. Even though he managed to get back two weeks early from a round cross country trip, they killed his family as result. However in this story, while his daughter Jade did die but she was not dead. Her own healing factor was awakened upon being killed how was this possible though. That being because Logan said his own did not work right anymore, thus the healing factor that Jade inherited was somewhat off itself. It took some time for her body to recover and during that time she was technically dead. However, once her body was slowly recovering and finished that when she was restored back to life, learned she has claws and dug her way out of her own grave. From here Jade just wanders around the country looking for her father and trying to avoid some of the enemies he has made in the past and present
