"What do you mean that was just an exploding generator" Elisa asked Xanatos' personal assistant Owen Burnett

"It as I have informed you there was an explosion caused by one of the generators that lead to the sounds being heard above us. It was a misfortune that such a thing happened. Thankfully no one was hurt from our accident" he informed her

Not buying the story as she clearly heard automatic fire and kept the fact that she saw a human fist in stone to herself though.

"Could you show me the generator then?" she asked

Depending on the type of explosion it was not impossible that it was just loud enough to be a mistake for weapon fire though that still would not explain the punching a hole in stone by a human though.

"Detective, I assure you that we have taken care of the matter ourselves as I just got off the phone with the mayor about the issue. Apologizing for the accident and had it dealt with right away Xanatos" himself said to her

Repeating the story that she had already been told by Owen. It could be played off as just a rival coming to steal something from him but that looked bad more on him than he actually allowed them to get that far in the first place. Though it was likely that the area they were in was the castle he just decided to crown his building without a reason. Not having everything properly set up and what not yet

Of course, she could have bought that story to leave for now at least and then come back later however the one thing that kept her from doing so was what a human capable of punching through stone. Not an impossible feat by any means but to do so on such a tall building and in such a manner was indeed questionable though. As result, Elisa did not leave when she was informed to but even after seeing where the battle took place along with the supposed exploded generator as well.

She something when she asked to leave and show herself out. Rather than doing so, she continues to look around herself having caught a human shadow out of the corner of her eye. Looking around she before eventually get to one of the ramparts where she looks out at the view of the city from this part of the castle itself

'Bet some gargoyles would just love to attempt flying from here' she thought

Though she was trained to flying at higher heights than the average gargoyle of the city.

That when she turned she confronted by gargoyle beast while distracting and then had tried to calm them. Not able to just shot at them cause then she would have to explain herself to the beast's owner. She was not supposed to be here thus could shot and possibly kill them.

"Easy now," Elisa said as she back against the rampart trying to calm them down

Though what she saw next was rather shocking as it was a large muscular darkened skin human wearing only what appeared to be ripped shorts. Taken back but this as that was not something she normally saw any human or any gargoyle that she has even met at least wear.

Not realizing it she takes another step backward falling off the castle to which the human for some reason diving after her.

"Listen to me carefully or we both just might die from this" the human informed her

Doing as he instructed her to do she spread out her wings and managed to crash land in an alley having thankfully not run into anyone on the way down.

"Sorry for the sudden appearance like this" Elisa explained to everyone as they left the alley.

Coming with a story that was not fully a lie but not fully the truth either she took her human savior to sit down somewhere...after quickly getting him some clothes so that he did not stand out as much.

"Where did you learn how to instruct a gargoyle to fly like that. I am Elisa Maza by the way" she said introducing herself

"Taught by the gargoyle that raised me how to do that as well as several things. That just being one of them as to why did not you already know how to do so at such a height. My name is Goliath" he told her

"That's not normal around here as being up that high is not considered safe as one wrong move and you could end up in pretty bad shape" she explained.

"Now then could you help me get back up to where we were," Goliath asked

"Huh, you want me to climb up a building," Elisa asked him looking confused.

"How so I am supposed to get back to where I was before," he asked her

"The elevator or the stairs. I took the elevator myself as building" she told him.

"So why are we here again as I do have to get back you know," he said.

As they were currently at Elisa's apartment as that where she has taken Goliath after they introduced themselves to each other

"Not happening now though. Do you know your way around this city to get there as you are clearly not from around here," Elisa told him

Goliath then when tried to explain himself to her

"What part of no did not you under..." Elisa said before the sun rose and she turned to stone for the day in front of the door that leads outside.

'Such a strange gargoyle she is' he thought to himself as he looked at her statue form.

What she had said did make sense as he did not know this place thus even though he fit in theory. He did not know anyone aside from her and everyone else that was back at the castle on top of that building.

Such sturdy floors he also thought as the floor did not look strong enough to suppose Elisa's weight as a statue but it was holding then again this building was full of gargoyles so he assumed it was built with them in mind.

Taking a quick look outside he could see what Elisa meant about flying up too high being dangerous as he noticed quite a few gargoyles lying around sidewalks. Interested in how they remain flying like that even knowing the sun was about to come up like they did not care or thought someone was supposed to look after them rather than doing so themselves.
