Going back to Elisa after watching how those gargoyles that turned to stone in mid flight get seemingly have a place for them to stood up during the day.
"Strange time this is true," he said.
Going over to her couch he noticed a small rectangle like device with buttons on it. Hitting on cause the box that was across the room to light up. A shocking Goliath for a moment but then noticed there was something of interest on the TV.
"Today on How It's Made... Televisions" a voice coming from the strange box said.
It was a few hours later when heard a knock on Elisa's door.
Of course with her statue form blocking the door preventing it from being open. Goliath could ask who was it from trying not to lead against the Elisa statue too much.
"So you are here as we were told that you were spotted coming this way late last night" Hudson replied to him.
Getting help from Owen that had come with them Hudson and the other managed to enter through the entrance that Elisa had for herself when she wanted to fly to her place rather than going in the front door. This was a viable method for gargoyles to take when they lived in apartments like this. It was kind of treated like their back door when it came to gargoyles and humans that could afford to enter in this way
Once they were all in they gather around Elisa who they all moved away from the front door so they could leave out of it later on.
"Interesting lass this one is," Hudson said taking a good look at her
"Still, it was strange that she was not used to flying at that height though," Lexington said
"That's understandable given how dangerous it is now for gargoyles to fly up that high anymore. Though you have probably seen what that result in on our way other here. Too many would be shattered to pieces during the day if they still knew how to fly at that height still without the proper training" Owen informed them before exiting the apartment to give them time to talk amongst themselves with him around
"This is supposed to be given to her when she awakens at night," Brooklyn said to Goliath.
Shortly after getting there Hudson and the others informed Goliath that while he was with Elisa they had all taken up names for themselves in the meantime.
"Modern day gargoyles sure are something as they do not act anything like the ones that raised us," Boardway said.
"They are rather different than the kind that we are used to however to blend in we must adapt to their ways. There is so much we need to learn" Goliath stated.
"First, you probably need to get a job yourself then as we have already managed to get some for ourselves while you were gone," Hudson told him
Go on about how to probably blend in more they used Xanatos's connection to get them jobs in various places. Not places that his company owned or that were influenced fully by him or his company. They used it to get their foot in the door the rest was done through their effort.
"We might owe a lot to Xanatos but depending on him too much might not be the best of things to do in the long run," Lex said
Afterwhile Owen returned informing them that they had to leave as the place they were going to be living in had been finished. Thus it was ready for them to move into now. This was a place provided by the city through Xanatos' connections just like the jobs they would be starting. Though not one of his own properties or something once again as merely a sign of his trust to them and give them the freedom to do what they wanted in this new world they found themselves in.
Goliath though decided to just stick with Elisa as he held on to the documents that were for her as well as waiting to see just how much influence that Xanatos had within the city to get things done. Then how true to his word would he stay about allowing them the freedom to do what they wanted themselves.
