After the sunset...

"...stand. Are you watching TV," Elisa asked him curiously after she awoke from her stone sleep.

"A rather informative and interesting device this TV" Goliath said as she noticed he was eating something.

"I left you something in your fridge," he told her.

"How do you" she began but then noticed that the channel was set to a station that running a How It's Made marathon

"So what's your story anyway as I never got around to asking the other night," she said curiously

Explaining his story there was then a knock at her door that when she went to answer Owen was standing on the other side of it once again though this time he had come to speak with Elisa directly now that it was nighttime.

"Detective Maza, it seems you have someone that was supposed to be with us. We will overlook your blatant trespassing. He was allowed to stay here over the day with the others who have come visit him. That was both the left for their jobs and to their new place as well" he said.

"You let others into my place while I was in my stone sleep," Elisa said looking at him

"Considering what you did yourself should you really be that worried over this. They did nothing to you during that time other than move you from blocking the doorway" Owen informed her

After Owen had left, Elisa was in her car driving back to where she worked the 23rd Police Precinct.

"Interesting so this is what feels like to drive in one of these cars vehicles," Goliath said

"You really did learn a lot from just one day of watching TV," Elisa said shocked at the bit

"It was a rather informative show that I kept watching after the other left. Though why are you driving this when you can glide with your wings" he asked

"Can't glide everywhere in this city and sometimes it is just easier to drive like this as the sky can get pretty back up especially this early in the night" she answered "plus it would be kind of hard to do with as I am supposed to take you with me to my job"

"It seems that we were able to get away with not being questioned too much about what happened on Xanatos's building cause those documents there," he said

"Seriously though how was he able to get you installed into my precinct though with just that little bit of information though," she said

Using some of Goliath's actual background and history, Xanatos and Owen were able to install not some much as a cop similar to Elisa but still a job where he would be working alongside her though. It was a unique type of job that mostly only existed in cities where gargoyles were the majority rather than the minority. In a few rare cases where that was just how things were around the world.

"Where have you been since leaving to go looking to disturbance over at Xanatos' building last night, Maza" her boss Captain Maria Chavez asked.

"I will inform you properly with a report once I can" Elisa replied after coming to the23rd Police Precinct where she worked.

"You better" came the reply from her captain "and I do not know why you were informed head over there to meet with Maza rather than just waiting here for her to get back"

"The one outside will show you to Detective Maza's desk the police," the captain said as she excused Goliath.

Once he was gone and it was just the two of them alone

"So what exactly is the deal with him as Xanatos seemed to pull some strings but there is also some real evidence to back his claims as well," Chavez asked

"He is just a weary of him as we are but it's a long story that he should probably be the one telling himself. However, he is not connected to Xanatos himself. Merely someone that has met him currently is all" Elisa informed her.
