Regina had come into this machine not knowing where she was going or what she even had to do inside here. There was not really anything that really stood out. Though the path she was on seemingly lead her to where she was now. She was not exactly looking for this place she had arrived at currently. It is more like she happened to come hereafter following the path that lead her towards here. It was, however, something she felt was the important cause after all seemingly all the paths lead to this point. There are various other pathways that all lead to this various room that was housing this large device. Which she assumed was the core of this place given the setup and its placement.

The large device was a prototype and upscaled version of the mass roboticizer already in the possession of the Robian that Regina had run into earlier. Robotnik and his still organic forces were unaware they had a small scale mass roboticizer merely thought that cause they were robots that that just really efficient in using the single use one repeatedly. It was because they never ask or give the right question or command that that was used the biggest hidden secret amongst the Robotnik Empire. Anyone that did see would not be talking since they would have been roboticized shortly anyway thus sealing their lips.

The idea to attempt taking out a whole city in one go came from one of their main desires. Mostly cause Robotnik and his force knew that Freedom Fighter might be located within Knothole Forest but did not know where exactly. Why an empire of their size could not find a single village that was basically in their own background to some extent. This was unknown though all the things being redirected to deal with them were starting to build up. If dropping something like this mass roboticizer on the forest was possible then they would not need to know where the base of operation for Knothole was exactly. There were various amounts of sources for how this knowledge was acquired.

This was another reason the robian that Regina ran into earlier was brought here after the talks with Mega Central fell through. If they did not want to become an ally or just stand out the way. Then using them as test subjects was not out of the questions as they were considered at the very least possible threat to the Robotnik Empire. Though why were Colin and the others that were a part of his group now fine with allowing this kind of thing to happen. They were not fine with it at least not if it were going to be done to fellow Overlanders like themselves. Those that sided with the Mobians or refused to pick a side however were considered fair game though. This was the work of Robotnik after he set things up so that they would have a reason to join him and desire for revenge what they think happened Hope

Looking at the machine itself Regina had no clue to use it to a slight degree. After all, she was a technomage, not a tech genius. She only knew how to control tech through magic not actually use it herself.

"Alright then yet just cut the power to this device and then it should shut down," Regina said to herself out loud

Regina thought this might be the key as if power was cut to this device then everything would be revealed. She assumed this was the core of the machine thus cutting the power would reveal to everyone. If everyone could see it and all that surrounded it then they would have known the ceasefire was a trap and they were actually fighting a two front battle. The ideal was the normal task force took over and even if they could reveal how their leaders were replaced. This area is clearly visible would serve as proof for their actions since everything here violated not just terms of the ceasefire but so many other things as well.

"If Subject is located near that device then it is not recommended it be a mess with," the robian said towards Regina's general location.

They still did not know where she went but got a warning that someone was messing with their mass roboticizer in a manner that it was not meant to be. The only one that would do that would be the Regina who they could not detect with their sensor normally.

What Regina would never know is that the Robian was right as the keyword of her entire plan was she 'assume' that it would work merely because of that how she knew most tech worked. Cut the power cease the function that it performs thus ending whatever it deals in the process. However, not know what this machine was for exactly or what she had come across even did in the first place. Recklessly cutting the power was not the smartest of moves as the power was not keeping it on but instead keeping it off. Not only was it keeping it off but also keeping it under control as well.

"Project is a failure. Preparing plans to deal with fallout" the robian said

Confusing Regina who last thoughts were 'Wait! Wha...'

To the Robian what Robotnik wanted to seem to be a blast that could be controlled at will thus the robian, Mecha Cream, went about actually creating a roboticizing blast that she could control though it was not at will as she assumed her master wanted. It required this machine and this upscaled roboticizer to contain properly. For the roboticizer did not have an on switch merely an off one. It was built to always be activated and always work at the intended range. As the hard part for Mecha Cream was not creating something like this but making it controllable at will was what she was struggling with.

So when Regina cut the power to the roboticizer rather than shutting it off instead she merely fully unleashed city wide roboticizing blast that in that instant ended all of the conflicts Mega Central had completely. After all, there was no one left to cause one since they had all been flash roboticized without even being aware of what happened. It happened that fast as even Regina only had that one moment before it was over.
