Well, I didn't expect to follow up the '5 Times Marinette was Akumatized work' with one for Adrien.

I didn't have enough ideas at first, but over the course of the week I got some. I had to throw out a few drafts and I lost some progress due to a computer malfunction so it took longer then I wanted. But that said, enjoy this bit.

Slight warning, while I try to not make it too uncomfortable, in a later part when Lila is...horrible to Adrien, it may trigger some people.

At this point I stop being sorry for Adrigaminette.

THE SORROW

Never before had Marinette felt so fearful in facing an Akuma. Not even against the Scarlet Akuma Army on Heroes' Day. Because right now the boy she loved has turned into an Akuma. She was now following a trail of people whom have been infected by the Akuma's power. They all looked normal and they weren't brainwashed minions, but their skin and eyes had turned in different shade of blue, and all were bawling their eyes out.

"The first person whom told me she knew Ladybug and I fell for it…Deep down I always knew she was not being fair but I couldn't admit to myself I made a mistake, because that means I betrayed my best friend…I'm horrible!" Alya said as she pulled her hair.

"Adrien…He was not comfortable around her. I knew something was off with how she hung on him, but I didn't speak up. My bro got hurt because of me. I don't deserve to be called his best friend…" Nino said, his arms wrapped around his knees, and his face buried in between them.

"My mother doesn't love me and dad throws money at my problems rather than parent me. I push everyone away with my queen bitch act because I don't know how to be nice and I will be alone…" Chloé said, whom lay there, spread out on the ground on the back, utterly depressed.

Well, with a name as 'the Sorrow' she could have expected this. Marinette followed a trail of sad and depressed people until she found him. The Sorrow was an akuma that looked plain, with a black bodysuit with white groves and boots and a beret. His skin was blue like the infected people, with tear drop-shaped markings on his cheek. The blue scarf she once made for him, now stretched out like additional limbs, and they were wrapped around Lila Rossi like a pair of anacondas. Glowing lines traveled from across the scarf from Lila to Sorrow. However, Sorrow's face looked disgusted.

"Your joy…it is malicious and sadistic, the type you get off to when you torment people. It is unpalatable." Sorrow said. The way he posed, the way he talked, invoked sadness and depression. However, anger still kind of crept into his voice when confronting the liar. "Your sadness isn't even real sadness. You don't regret your actions, you don't have empathy, you cannot feel guilty. So instead of taking your joy away, I can take your life. The world would be a better place…"

"Adrien, please, I promise I'll…" he threw her across the street, and into a wall. A cracking sound made sure to let everyone know she broke some bones during that impact as she fell to the ground, crying in pain.

"Adrien, don't!" Marinette said as she approached Sorrow. The sad looking boy turned to her. "Adrien, please…Lila is horrible, but if you do this, then you'll feel awful about it afterwards. I may not care for Lila, but I care for what it will do to your soul. Please don't do this…"

Sorrow's scarf extended, but instead of wrapping around Marinette, it caressed her cheek like a hand of a loved one. "Marinette…I could never hurt you. You and Kagami are the last joys in my life. My father treats me more like a product then a son, he uses this liar as a spy to keep me isolated and Nathalie just lets him…You and Gami bring me joy but…I still have so much sadness in me…I want to feel joy again."

"Please, not like this." Marinette begged.

"I thank you for looking out for me. But I can't stop now." Sorrow said. He sighed. "Why didn't you tell me you made this? It has been the first meaningful gift I received in my life…" he said as he stroked part of the scarf.

"You looked so happy, I couldn't take that way form you…but that was before I knew how bad your father actually was." Marinette said. Now she was crying, and Sorrow's scarf wiped those tears away.

"Don't cry, I am not mad at you. I hate seeing you sad. You deserve to keep your joy. So I insist, stay out of my way for now, until I have settled things with my father." He grabbed Lila in his scarf again, but didn't seem to want to hurt her. "I will confront him about everything and he'll have a lot to explain. Stay safe Mari. I'll come back for you." He said as his scarf extended in a pair of Doctor Octopus-like appendages and walked off on them.

Marinette grabbed her phone. "Kagami, there is an emergency…" she spoke into it. "Oh, Plagg came to you and filled you in? All right, so you know what I want to ask you? Yes…It was his father, Adrien has been patient but it has become too much…Gabriel deserves a kick up the butt but we save our mutual boyfriend first. I will meet you at the Agreste Mansion. I hope we are not too late." She hung up her phone and took a deep breath. "Tikki, Spots on!"

Transforming in her hero form, Ladybug would set out. Today she and her temporary black cat Nekomata would save the day, but most importantly, they would save their beloved.

FREEDOM FIGHTER

Every time that Adrien thought that Lila Rossi couldn't sink any lower, he was proven wrong yet again. It was supposed to be Kagami's final match in the fencing tournament, ready to take the Gold. But Lila sabotaged her, and Kagami had an accident. She had hit her head real bad and was currently in the hospital unconscious. And the worst part was, his father wouldn't let him visit her. Instead he had to do more photo shoots with Lila, whom unfortunately they had no proof against and Gabriel wouldn't hear a bad word against her. He had ignored his and the photoshoot's crews complaints wit her many times, about how she was unprofessional, threw tantrums, sabotaged others and made him uncomfortable but still Gabriel wouldn't budge. Has his dad lost his mind.

He couldn't hold out. Kagami was in the hospital. She and no doubt an overly worried Marinette were wondering where he was. Lila was laughing her arse off at having nearly possibly killed Kagami getting away with everything, Gabriel had lost the freakin' plot and Nathalie went along. He was trapped in his room, nursing bruises from where that vixen had gripped him. He couldn't breathe…he couldn't…he only knew anger. He had to get out!

Hawkmoth had made a mistake in picking a target because the following Akumatization resulted in half the Agreste Mansion blowing up, at least the wing where Adrien's romo was. Adrien, looking like a protagonist from an anime or Final Fantasy game, an unbuttoned shirt that shows off his abs, chains and locks adorning his outfit. He wielded and a huge buster sword with a lock symbol in one hand and a pistol shaped like a key in his other hand. "I will not be chained and caged anymore! Not when one of my loves needs help. And furthermore, I will fight to remove the threats to their lives, so they can live them out in peace and freedom!" Freedom Fighter said as he was ready to terrorize a few people.

Kagami had recently woken up. Luckily the blow to her head could have been much worse but she had been out of it. Still dizzy and her mind clouded she woke up to Plagg on her bed. "Oof, you're awake, ice queen. My kid…he was so worried, but the liar was a bitch and his dad was being an arse and keeping him away…"

"What happened to Adrien?" she asked. She wanted to have the kwami get to the point.

Plagg sighed as he pulled out the ring. "I couldn't prevent him from Hawkmoth getting to him. He'll probably kill his old man and the vixen." Kagami snatched the ring. "Hey, careful! You have just woken up! You are in no condition to…"

"I don't care, Adri-kun needs me. I am going to get Mari-hime, so that we both can save the man we love. No way I will stand on the sidelines at this. You and Marinette can chew me out later but I am a warrior! I will fight for my loved ones. Plagg, Claws out!"

Kagami's outfit was a black bodysuit too, but the tail was forked, a green circular gem was on her forehead. She had armored parts to her design. A Bokken sword had manifested on her hip to join the folded staff on her lower back. Nekomata was not going to stand down. She and Ladybug will save Adrien.

CHEVALIER/SAMURAI

Goddamnit Lila. Can't she stop being a bitch for even five minutes? Five seconds even? No…Lila has been hurting Marinette. She has been hurting one of the girls whom has his heart. She had hurt her Princess. Lila's last stunt had sent Marinette to the bathroom crying. Kagami was there as well, the other woman whom he loved whom was also Mari's second love. The two held her as she tried to keep it together.

As Ladybug, as Guardian, she couldn't allow her to be Akumatized. But she was human and she could not keep her emotions in forever. Each time, it became harder to cool down from whatever thing Lila threw at her. Then he heard the dreaded sound of wings flapping. No, not an Akuma. Not now. It was heading for them. At best, Marinette would resist like always but it wasn't guaranteed every time. At worst, she could get akumatized and so would possibly he or Kagami due to being in close proximity.

He thought it'd be no contest, between the Everyday Ladybug whom actually was Ladybug, and the strong and fierce Kagami, he couldn't let either fall. He'd protect them. He jumped in front and took it. It was a blur. He may have vaguely heard Hawkmoth, he may have vaguely heard Plagg, Kagami and Marinette begging…but the wave of darkness overtook him.

The burst of darkness that consumed him also transformed the school around them. Marinette and Kagami were dazed, and surprised when they found themselves in garb resembling a Medieval European and Edo Japanese Princess'. The bathroom they were in was now a royal bedroom, and elements from Medieval Europe and Edo Japan were blended seamlessly.

"It's ok, you are safe my Queen, my Princess…" Adrien's voice sounded. His outfit was…well, one half a medieval knight armor and half of a samurai armor stuck together. In his hand of the knight half he held a broadsword. In the half with the samurai armor he held the katana. "I will protect you. And after I dealt with the liar, I will make Hawkmoth pay for trying to evilize you." He put the swords away and strokes their cheeks. "And once they are gone, I am going to give you the world, because you deserve it, my loves."

"Adri-kun. No, please…" Kagami begged. "Please refuse the dark power, no matter your intentions, no good can come of it."

"Come back to use, Adrien. Please." Marinette added.

"Sorry, but I can't do that. Now I have hold of the Akuma, Hawkmoth can create no more other Champions; I can use it to end it once and for all, starting with his little demonic pawn." He pulled out his swords. "Princess, as your chevalier…" he brandishes the broadsword. "My Queen, as your Samurai…" he brandishes the Katana. "I will give them hell!" He turned around and left the room. The room was locked, and a pair of students, turned into a knight and/or samurai, stood guard as he sought out the source of his wrath.

Luckily, Plagg managed to get the ring off before it was caught up in the Akumatization and gave it to Kagami. Kagami hung down her head. "Maybe he was right about one thing. It needs to end now…before it destroys us all. Though not while he is this…oni."

"We can save him. We have to…" Marinette said. "Hawkmoth and Lila hurt my kitty…Hurt our love. They deserve Hell, yes. But not at the cost of Adrien's soul. Let's do this!"

"I'm with you, Mari-Hime!" Kagami said as she donned the ring.

"Tikki, Spots on!"

"Plagg, Claws out!"

THE BEAST

"Let go!" Adrien said as he pried his arm loose from Lila. It was bad enough that he had to see her at school, that he had to work with her…at least he thought he was safe in his dressing room. But even there Lila didn't leave him alone. Even though he was taken, having two wonderful girlfriends in Marinette and Kagami, she was still eager to get him. "I do not like you, at all. I do not want you. The fact you work for the company is the only reason I tolerate your presence."

"What you want is irrelevant. You are mine, Adrien Agreste, you just don't know it yet." Lila said with a predatory smile.

"I have two girlfriends. And we had a deal. You would behave, and I would not expose you." Adrien threatened.

"Yeah…I don't like that deal. I no longer want your friendship, I want you to be my little love slave. And if you don't agree, it means that those two Asian sluts will get it." Lila growled.

"I was foolish thinking that you deserved a chance. I was foolish to think there was any goodness in you. I would have not made that deal. You are a monster. You lie, you cheat, you hurt people without feeling guilty. You don't know friendship, or love…you don't love me, I am a trophy to you. But I'm not, I am a person. And I have two girls whom love the person I am, not for what I have." Adrien said. "And if you harm a single hair on their heads I will destroy you."

"You can't threaten me. I have your dad wrapped around my finger, as well as the principal, a few lies and crocodile tears and I can make your home and school life a living hell. I can make sure that failed Disney Princess of a Marinette will never will fulfill her dream in the fashion industry, and a few lies about the frigid Tsurugi bitch and her family's partnership with your father is over." Lila said. "I can ruin you to the point I'll be the only one you have left…so you better start accepting it now!" she said as she took Adrien by surprise, grabbing him by his throat, digging in her nails and bringing her lips closer. Adrien was taken off guard so he couldn't react in time to defend himself.

"Get your claws off him!"

"Kare ni sawarenai de, kanojo no akuma!"

Lila was dragged off Adrien and thrown onto the floor, the burning wrath of in Marinette and Kagami's eyes aimed at her. Lila was a bit startled, but she reminded herself (wrongfully) that they could do nothing. "You are in for it now. You two bitches will have hell to pay when people find out you threw 'poor innocent Lila' to the floor and hurt her because you were jealous and controlling girlfriends…"

"I can't believe it, I thought that Hawkmoth was evil, but you take the cake. All you do is lie and hurt people. And now you try to assault our boyfriend?" Marinette growled angrily.

"I can not imagine a person like you exists, whom takes such pleasure in the downfall of innocent people. You are not a human, but a demon." Kagami added.

Lila just laughed insanely. "Guilty as charged. I am a bitch and revel in it. Nice girls finish last, and I don't like to play nice. I don't care what I have to do to get what I want, even if Paris burns to the ground, as long as I get to be on top." She was so confident in her skills she no longer denied or justified herself. "And you two will have your reputation ruined to the point even the garbage disposal companies would ever hire you…"

Then the three were taken off-guard by a loud roar…They turned around to see a large bipedal werepanther. His fur so black that it was living shadows. It contrasted by his white sharp teeth and green pupilless eyes, the shade of green that is acidic, deadly. His claw glowed with destructive energy and swiped at Lila, whom had to time to scream as suddenly she was turned into an ashen coal statue, being an unliving shell.

Kagami and Marinette looked fearfully at the new were-beast that was an akumatized Adrien. He growled. But despite his menacing presence his expression softened. He went on all fours and crept closer. "Adrien?" Marinette asked. He moved closer and nuzzled both of his girlfriends.

"Adri-kun…" Kagami said as he petted him. He went calm under her touch, and even more so when Marinette started to scratch him behind the ears. However, the purple butterfly mask formed around his eyes and he jerked back, and roared, before running off and charging through the wall.

The two kept staring at the hole in the wall for a while. They turned to the lifeless statue that was Lila Rossi. "She has went too far this time." Marinette said. But not much that we can do about her now. We have to save Adrien."

"I'm sorry, I wasn't able to talk or calm him down, not with Lila still around." Plagg said as he flew in, the ring in his hand. "I'm a failure of a Kwami that I couldn't protect my kitten."

"It's ok, Plagg-sama." Kagami said. "He can be saved. If you don't mind that I help? I'm no Ladybug and while I can become Ryuko…I think Mari-Hime needs a temporary black cat." Plagg nodded and handed her the ring.

"I am sick and tired of people hurting our beloved." Marinette said. "Once he is back to normal, more then a few people will suffer for this." She calmed herself with a few deep breaths. "Tikki, Spots on!"

"Plagg, Claws out!"

Ladybug and Nekomata would go and confront the Beast their beloved had become. But not before Nekomata indulged in her pettiness for once and pushed the Lila statue over. Right after, they went through the hole in the wall, and would have one heck of an Akuma battle going around.

HEARTBREAK

Nekomata and Ladybug approached the Agreste Mansion. Though right now, instead of a white rich man's home, it looked like a mechanized evil castle. Marinette and Kagami knew something went wrong when they waited for their boyfriend at the bakery, when Plagg flew in with the ring. Adrien was in trouble. Marinette wasted no time transforming into Ladybug and Kagami gladly took over as the temporary black cat Nekomata.

They snuck closer to the mansion but they saw nobody. They went in through the front door, carefully…but still no one. The layout was different. As they went in the direction of Adrien's room, they found no door. And when they went to Gabriel's office. It was now a giant staircase that went down.

They went down, still on edge, as they neared something that was…it felt like a dungeon but it also felt as a throne room of sorts if that made sense. They were shocked to see the contents of the room. There was a gothic looking throne. An armored being, looking like a Japanese Superhero like a Kamen Rider or a Super Sentai sitting on it. Its black with acid green armor and the battle axe made him look like some dark war god, while a heart-shaped emerald with a crack in it was encrusted in its chest armor. Behind him was a mechanized tree, and the upper half of it was the torso of a mechanized angelic looking woman, whom was holding a transparent crystalline fruit, with in it three hearts floating in it. Her wings were robotic, and the feathers looked like a blend of knives and leaves.

"Adrien…" Ladybug said.

"Hello Milady." Adrien, or rather Heartbreak said as he turned to her, and then to Kagami. "Ma Dragonne…"

"Adrien, what happened?" Ladybug asked.

"They happened!" He pointed to the side, and the lights went on in that part of the dark room. There they found statues of Gabriel Agreste, Nathalie Sancoeur and Lila Rossi, though there were heart-shaped holes in their chest. They looked at the angelic being fused into the tree and the hearts trapped into the fruit.

Then they saw that on Heartbreak's armor, two brooches were pinned. "Shinji rarenai!" Nekomata exclaimed. "Your father and Nathalie were Hawkmoth and Mayura…and Lila was in on it…of course she was, that little…"

"Father and Nathalie did it for her…" Heartbreak said as he pointed upwards at the woman fused into the tree. "To bring my mother back." He sighed as he lowered his hand. "A part of me would have agreed with it, but then…they hurt my friends, they hurt my loves…and they hurt me, he akumatized me without second thought. Shouldn't be surprised…He akumatized those close to me knowing that I could be in danger and he didn't care. I called him out…He just told me to suck it up. That any sacrifice, including me, would be worth it to bring mother back. It wouldn't matter since the Wish would turn anything back…"

"Your father has grown insane, selfish in his desire to bring back your mother. Knowing the wish has a price, and that people got hurt and died in attacks even if the cure brought them back." Ladybug explained.

"There were other ways, he could have sought out the Guardian, or approached the Order once they returned, but he didn't do that. Seems his pride and delusion was more important." Nekomata said. But we can fix this. Mari-Hime can get the Order in, they can help her. They can help you…" Kagami said.

Heatbreak sighed. "I believe you. But I'm still a thrall. I can't renounce the Akuma. I hold the brooch but…the Akuma brings out your dark side and has it take control. I have been holding out until now…until you would come along. You will have to fight me. Save me…before anyone gets hurt. Because once Heartbreak takes over, he'll want to finish what Father had started, and take your Miraculous to bring her back. I don't want to hurt anyone, Mom wouldn't have wanted that. So please…Don't hold back, and don't let me hurt anyone."

Their hearts ached for him. He had been so strong, he had kept fighting, but he was losing control. "We will save you, my love!" both Ladybug and Nekomata said.

Heartbreak jolted up, roaring pain as he grabbed his head, before he roared in anger and bloodlust. He had lost control. "Nooroo, Duusu, Unify!" the two kwamis merged into the brooches. One half of his body became blue and sported a blue wing, as well as a shadowy maskpiece with a purple eye on one half. Another half became purple, sporting a moth wing and a butterfly-shaped visor on the other. The broken heart pieces on his chest became an amethyst and a sapphire in the shape of half the pieces of a broken heart. His battle axe sported a tip resembling that of Hawkmoth's Cane, and the blade of the axe gained a peacock pattern like Mayura's fan.

Both Ladybug and Kagami clenched their eyes shut as they shed tears. They recomposed quickly, they had to…to save Adrien.

Shadowheart, as Adrien was now called was no longer alone. A robotic gorilla arrived on the scene, probably Adrien's bodyguard whom has been transformed. Several others appeared, transformed minions appearing as armored figures. Several of them had features or bodyshapes that identified them as their classmates, transformed.

"Now we know why we couldn't find the rest…It's up to us now." Ladybug sighed. "Neko?" she asked, lifting her left wrist with the Snake Miraculous. Nekomata nodded as she touched the Dragon Miraculous Choker on her neck.

"Tikki! Sass! Unify!" Ladybug shouted as she became Lady Cobra. She then wasted no time setting a Second Chance!" Her yo-yo and her lyre had combined into a cat-o-nine-tails with each tip resembling a ladybug yo-yo or a snake head.

"Plagg! Longg! Unify!" Nekomata became Shinigami, Ryuko's blade attached to Chat's staff to form a scythe, the thing crackling with black lightning.

This was going to be hell of a fight.

SAVED

The last few days have been a like a hurricane. His father was Hawkmoth, Nathalie was Mayura, Lila was a willing accomplice. He was akumatized to be their pawn, not caring he was their son, godson or…whatever Lila thought he was to her. But it hadn't worked out. They had tried to control him for so long he didn't want to let them control him as an Akuma. It had been emotionally and physically taxing for the other Miraculous wielders, but in the end it became a chain reaction that ended with those three villains being exposed and arrested.

Gabriel and Nathalie would spend the rest of their lives in jail. He wasn't sure of Lila since she was underage, but helping a terrorist is not covered by diplomatic immunity and even if she one day get out, it would be a long, long time before that. Though knowing how psychotic she is, he doubts she would ever get released early for good behavior.

Though, he was now known as the son of Hawkmoth. While the people whom mattered knew he was innocent, he even tried to stop his father (though most didn't know he was Chat Noir) or didn't support him, others were not so understanding.

Right now his mother was with the Order of Guardians whom were seeking for a cure. His father's company and assets were seized, but he no longer cared for the label or the riches, since it has been tainted by his actions. The mansion was on lockdown until the investigation was done, but he didn't know if he could return, if Mom would return once she was awake.

It was bitter sweet, though maybe slightly more bitter. He had lost a father and a person whom he considered a second mother. He was under scrutiny by people whom was convinced that he was in on his father's villainous campaign. But he had friends, the Tsurugi and Dupain-Cheng family are now his own, he still had Plagg and he had two loving girlfriends.

He had plopped onto the bed of the guest room at the Dupain-Cheng bakery he was using, Plagg resting on his chest, purring to have the vibrations soothe him. It didn't do a lot but it helped a little. "I feel a bit useless here Kitten. Tikki is much better at this stuff then I am."

"You try, that's more what Fa-Gabriel ever did." He assured him. With that man gone, he could drop the mask completely. And no more Akumas meant no more hiding his emotions. It meant the pain could catch up though. But he knew he could heal.

"Hey Kitty!" the voice of angel sounded. One of the reasons he hadn't gone mad has just walked in. Marinette had a box full of, judging from the smell, all his fav pastries and sweets. "How are you holding up today?"

"A lot better now you're here." Adrien assured her.

"I hope I'm not late to this get-together." Kagami had walked in, carrying a box of sushi her chef had made for her. Now both his angels were here.

They plopped down next to him and hugged him. "What news?" Adrien asked.

"The order have the cure, it just takes some time to set up. But we'll get there, your mother will return to you soon." Marinette assured.

"Also some idiots whom are badmouthing you, a combination of their own stupidity and the fact they don't have to worry about akumatizations again made some very vocal and very physical. I'd like to introduce them to my sword." Kagami added.

"Kagami, no stabbing people." Marinette playfully chastised. "The investigation is ongoing but it is clear to the law enforcement you are innocent. And the Miraculous heroes' words go a long way. If they cool down from the post-Hawkmoth emotional release some may go on with their lives…"

"And if someone else still talks smack, they are idiots. Very stabbable idiots." Kagami noted.

Adrien chuckled a bit, before bursting out into tears. "I'm sorry…" Adrien said.

"No, it's ok. You no longer have to hold back. You can let it out…" Marinette noted.

"Mom has a good therapist. It was denied by that…" Kagami wanted to call Gabriel names. "But you are allowed to heal. You are allowed to be free now."

"I still can't step outside without people seeing me. I have to meet my friends and girlfriends in secret." Adrien sighed.

"It will wave over. And once it's ok, we are going on a trip, all three of our families together. Seeing the world and enjoying ourselves." Marinette said.

"We are going to create new and happy memories for you, so that you can forget all the bad." Kagami said.

Adrien let out more tears, but there were some joyous ones. "I don't deserve you two."

"You don't get to say that. Love does not need to be deserved, but given." Marinette said. "And we'll give you all the love you need."

"You'll always have us, Adri-kun." Kagami said. Both of them kissed him on his lips.

Adrien was still aching. But he was healing. It would be better, eventually. He was not alone in this. And it was the first day of the rest of his life, a life he now wanted to steer in a new direction, and intends to enjoy to the fullest.

People will ask, will I do one for Kagami next? Will I reuse some of her canon forms or create new ones?

I don't know yet. I have no ideas now, but neither did I have for Adrien when this started out. So who knows? Only time will tell.
