"No, no, NO! This wasn't supposed to happen!" Marinette was in panic now as she pulled her hair. Now more than half of it was divine white and her single blue eyes started to have golden specks. But she was not worried about herself. She was worried because in front of her several of her classmates and teammates now had a streak of divine white in their hairs. "I didn't jury rigg your Miraculouses, how is this even possible?"
"Either all the Miraculouses in the set are more connected then we thought, or the faith and belief of people in you, and to an extent the expanded lore may extend to the rest of us." Alya sighed tiredly.
"I didn't want this. I didn't feel anyone else had to make that sacrifice. It is my job to protect you all." Marinette got frantic.
"What about me?" Adrien asked.
"I tried to talk you out of it, you dork but you were too damn stubborn!" Marinette added. "Ok, I have to calm down, I can fix this…"
"Do we have to? I mean being a god sounds pretty rad?" Juleka asked. She looked at herself. Juleka eyed her hands, which like Adrien's now had nails that became longer and pointier, her canines were more pronounced, and her eye that wasn't covered by hair was slit and cat-like. Her skin also now started to sport purple stripes like they were tattoos, but upon closer look they look furrier. "I really like also the look! Pretty metal."
"Of course you would." Chloé rolled her eyes? She also still only had a streak in her hair.
"You guys realize the implications? you will never age, your existence will extend beyond the physical world and a mere mortal body, your views on the fundamental forces on the universes will change so drastically you have to fight to keep your humanity every day." Marinette added. "You become a focal point for a realm or aspect, you are connected to millions if not billions of people every time they dabble into your domain, you can sense them all the time and feel them reaching out." Marinette said as she started to go glass eyes as she sent on a tirade. Tikki put her hand on her shoulder as Marinette snapped out of it.
"Please don't be sad Marinette, we don't blame you…" Rose assured her.
"But I still messed up! It must be me, because why else? I didn't mean to turn your lives upside down, or force this upon you, but it must have happened because it had to be something I did…"
"Marinette, breathe! I know you don't need to because goddess but breathe!" Tikki said, raising her voice. Marinette calmed and took a few deep breaths. "Marinette, this isn't your doing. It is something that was coming."
"Did you know and not tell us anything?" Adrien asked confused, and maybe a bit hurt.
"No, we didn't know this was coming. But now we witness it we know that it isn't just a side effect." Plagg added. "Specs here…" Plagg gestured to Alya "…is close in that the Miraculous are connected and faith helps…but it isn't the catalyst. No, it means that there is something coming real soon that not only needs you two to be all-powerful but quite a few others as well."
"Well, we are destined to save the world, what else is new?" Alya said.
"You are taking this way too well." Adrien pointed out.
"I am trying not to freak out and lose my mind." Alya noted. "I swear a few moments ago I could briefly see ghosts on my way here, I was able to detect all lies from petty ones as taking the last cookie to cheating on their partner as well as seeing the road clear as day while everyone should see the ripple effect from the heat." She took off her glasses. "And these are about useless now, I had to replace the glass inside with window glass.
"Why this, though? We already gave so much of ourselves to the world, when will it be enough?" Marinette asked. "I wouldn't do anything different, I'd do anything to protect the people I love, the home that I live in." Marinette said as she plopped on her bed and stared at the ceiling.
"Is there a way to turn it back?" Luka asked. Like his sister he had slit eyes and long fangs but he also had a few green teal patches of scales on his arms and cheeks.
"If this type of divine transformation is already visible, it is already too late. So, er…sorry?" Plagg said awkwardly. He wasn't really good at being comforting.
"Well, ok then." Luka said as he just shrugged.
"Why are their transformations so pronounced though, the rest of us aren't as far along as them." Alya asked.
"Because they embrace the change." Tikki asked.
"Why should I not? Do you know how awesome I look? I'm this awesome part tiger goddess thing. And since mine and Roaar's domain is Exaltation I'm literally the goddess of power." Juleka said.
"And now way I leave my little sister behind. Leaving my mortality behind is a small price to pay." Luka noted. "Besides, I could be the new God of Music." He summoned Viperion's lyre in his hand, which he now could do without transforming.
"I want to spend my life with my true love. And how longer that life, the better." Rose said as she cuddled up to Juleka. Her traits weren't as visible but her nose was a bit flatter and thicker, her ears pointier and her nails have grown to cover the entirety of her fingertips and turned greyish like pig hooves.
"Then it surprises me that you of all people aren't fighting this, Kagami. Didn't you fancy yourself the warrior type or something?" Alix asked. Like Chloé and most others her hair only had a streak in it for now.
True, Kagami had patches of scaly skin like Luka, also fangs and slit eyes. "It's because I also desire to be at the side of my loved ones." Kagami said as she eyed Marinette and Adrien.
"Kagami, aren't you the least bit worried about our future? What you may give up for us?" Marinette asked.
"What do I have to lose? My mother may not have been a supervillain but she isn't a lot better then Gabriel Agreste was. I was once a champion fencer but such a silly title has been feeling so small after fighting the forces of evil. Besides, shouldn't it be my choice?"
"It wasn't your choice, it was an accident. One I still feel I'm responsible for…" Marinette note.
"Seriously Mari, stop the self-blaming. Tikki already said it wasn't your fault." Nino comforted her.
"You said you wouldn't do anything different. We wouldn't either. We wouldn't just walk away, certainly when you need us. What friends would we be otherwise?" Alya noted.
"I never could blame you, Mari-hime. I could never hate you or Adri-kun." Kagami said as she took her and Adrien's hand into her own. "I mean what I say. You two are my world."
"I'm afraid, Kagami." Marinette said. "I always have been."
"Yet that you still step up despite everything make you brave, Milady." Adrien noted. "So none of our lives turned out how we planned, but it turned out wonderful."
"No one expected to become divine beings. But we saved the world a couple of times, we managed to protect the smiles and the joy of people. I think that is definitely worth something and nothing to be afraid about." Rose said.
"This is getting a bit mushy…But if I have to add my own two cents, snap out of it Marinette. You are way too strong, way too good to see here moping around. You have been making the world a better place for so long, and you'll have a lot of time to keep doing it." Alix added.
"So please…don't push me away, Mari-hime. Let me in…let me help you. Let me take away some of the burden." Kagami stroked Marinette's cheek.
Marinette's eyes turned watery. "We have been holding it off way too long, have we, Kitty?" she whispered to Adrien.
"I think so too." Adrien confirmed. Both pulled in Kagami, and they planted a kiss on the sides of Kagami's mouth. The three soon melt into the kiss as a glow came over them. When the kiss broke and the glow died down, now all three's hair had completely been overtaken by the divine white.
Not only that, their arms were covered into golden symbols. "What the…"Marinette noted.
"Ok, what kind of Disney-esque magic love bullshit did I just witness?" Chloé asked stupefied.
"Er…this is the godly equivalent of you three marrying." Tikki said.
"What? That was not the intention…at least not now, but later down the line." Adrien said nervously.
"I don't mind." Kagami said.
"I do! We need a proper wedding ceremony." Rose said. "Everybody, pool your resources! Call caterers, officials, the works."
"Rose, that's nice but I don't…" Marinette noted.
"I'm sure Mari's parents and my mother would cater this." Alya noted.
"Really, it's not necessary." Adrien pointed out.
"I'll call my dad. He would love to stand by Kitty section and provide the music for the wedding." Luka pointed out.
"Something tells me they are not listening." Kagami said.
"I am going to call a lawyer in case the haters would say a polyamorous relationship would not be recognized, though we could simply state 'they're god nows they can do whatever they want but it sounds more official if we…" Chloé began.
"I give up!" Adrien, Kagami and Marinette said simultaneously.

"Hey Roaar?" Juleka asked.
"Yes, cub?" Roaar asked.
"It may sound weird but why am I feeling horny nearly all the time?" Juleka asked. True to herself she was mostly quiet. "I mean, Rose is on my mind a lot since girlfriend and all and we're all hormonal teens but it has been a lot more lately…Is that a tiger thing, a Miraculous thing or a goddess thing?"
"A bit of the three…But the goddess thing really amps it up. Godly transformation leaves you a bit more prone to that." Roaar admitted. "I mean, remember the Greek gods?"
"So them getting around a lot is not just legends?" Juleka asked.
"It's not, it may be the only part about them that the mortals got almost perfectly correct. And unlike you and your friends, their transformations weren't nearly as potent and they were from a time where you can be a bit looser about sexuality and didn't nearly have half the self-control you had." Roaar added.
"Oh…" Juleka said dryly.
"Does it bother you?" Roaar asked.
"Nah, I was just curious. I'm fine with it." Juleka noted dryly.
Suddenly, Rose appeared (that's the best way to describe it because with their godly powers, they just didn't teleport with any flashy effect. They just appear, one moment they're not there, another they are there…you don't see them appear, they just are suddenly there). "Hi Juli! I sensed your desires, and since I'm a goddess of Joy and Desire it would only seem appropriate I respond to them."
"Roaar, could you and Daizzi give us some alone time?" Juleka said with a grin.
"All right, enjoy your mating ritual. Be careful since you are bot divine, gender no longer matters in terms of reproduction." Roaar noted as he and the pig kwami flew out.
A few miles away in a bakery, Kagami was in bliss as she held a panting Marinette and Adrien in her arms after they engaged into some post-coitus cuddling. 'Best ascension to godhood ever' Kagami thought to herself.

Chloé was in her personal room at the hotel. She wasn't feeling so well. Unlike the others she was having more difficulties accepting her new powers. She was unable to sleep (she didn't need to anymore but she enjoyed a nap once in a while), she barely ate (again didn't need to but still…) and some old insecurities returned.
"Hey, angelbee." The soft voice of Luka sounded. Chloé felt she should be startled but she had gotten used to her friends and herself being able to displace themselves anywhere on Earth at will. "I sensed some discord."
"I'm fine." Chloé denied.
"You couldn't lie me before, and I'm a literal god of music and heartsongs now so I know when it is out of tune. Talk to me angelbee."
"Would you understand?" Chloé asked.
"Why wouldn't I?" Luka asked.
"Because you got an awesome gig. Because of your connection to Sass, the Kwami of Entrancement and the power of your lyre, you are now a god of entrancement, music and heartsongs or whatever. But you know what my realm is?" Chloé asked.
"Same as Pollen, Subjection?" Luka asked.
"Indeed. Subjection…which means asserting control. I am a patron saint of conquerors, people whom want to use their powers to oppress or enslave…I used to be a huge bitch, don't tell me otherwise. And I am afraid that if I fully convert that I…I will become a sort of war goddess and I don't want that." Chloé said. "I'll become a monster, Luka! A monster god which means I can't be destroyed or killed so you will probably be forced to throw me in whatever Tartarus there is for our pantheon and I…" Chloé bursted out in tears. "I don't want to become that."
Luka hugged her. "You will not be. Subjection isn't mere enslavement. It is about leadership. Times ask for strong leaders whom have to keep the peace and make the decisions. Sometimes they subject, but only because they have to make tough choices for the better of all. You, Chloé Bourgeois, you are not a goddess of war. You are a goddess of leadership and order."
"Leadership? I wasn't much use in positions of power before." Chloé noted.
"Not when you were still acting like your mother, but when you are yourself, Chloé Bourgeois…The Queen Bee, that's where you shine. Remember when you took charge against Style Queen and the Golddigger Sentimonster? Fifth time your mom got akumatized? Marinette was unable to get there?"
"I…Yeah, I took charge then." Chloé recalled.
"It showed the good side of leadership. And you Chloé, have that in spades." Luka assured her.
Chloé was silent for a few moments. "I am not like my mother. Not anymore. I am not going to be a feared goddess. I am going to be a goddess of leadership of order. I am going to be a patron to those worthy to lead." She said with determination in her voice. It was then she saw her hair glow and the divine white spread. "Oh."
"It shows you feel more comfortable in your skin now. I can also feel your heartsong evolving from the sorrowful tune to something more upbeat." Luka noted.
"My clothes don't fit my new hair tone now…May get some new clothes." Chloé noted.
"Why? You can basically change your outfit into whatever you want?" Luka asked.
"I enjoy the act of shopping!" Chloé huffed. Luka laughed softly as she joined in. She then cuddled up with her boyfriend. "I love you, Luka."
"Love you too, Angelbee." Luka said.

Lila Rossi was alive again…sort of. Not a god in the same sense like Ladybug or Chat Noir are now. She was now something similar at least. She was portrayed in the holy texts (they got holy texts for the heroes now?) as a devil much like the snake in the bible. So people believed in gods and kep them alive, but people also believed in devils, in evil. If that what she had to become to destroy her enemies so be it. Not sure if she could destroy them the same way since they are immortal gods or something, but she would ruin their immortal lives instead.
Lies, deceit, trickery…like Loki of Norse myth she will be a constant thorn in the side. She will not give them rest for eternity. But every god, good or evil, every devil needs a following, a cult. Nothing to worry, she is a liar, and as a goddess of lies (as she fancied herself now, she will succeed. "So…what do you say?" She has been buttering up a person whom would become her first vassal, her first cultist, the first one whom will wreak havoc in her name. Destroying everything those goodie two shoes would ever build up. She felt so giddy…
"I vow my allegiance to you, Lila Rossi, my one true goddess. As a sign of my appreciation and admiration, I want to present you with a gift." The to-be-cultist said as he handed her a necklace.
Lila Rossi was a materialistic girl, and the necklace looked beautiful, hand-crafted. She loved to receive nice, expensive or fancy things, and the jewel was all three. "Well, you certainly know how to appease a goddess, I think I made a good choice." She grabbed the necklace and put it around her neck. Well, that looks nice…She felt so giddy she was tingling…wait, that wasn't giddiness. She was honestly tingling. "What is going on?"
"I am sorry 'my goddess' but someone made an offer to me first." The cultist said with a smirk.
"What…No! How could I be tricked like this?" Lila said as her body glowed. Suddenly she was gone and in her place was a light brown kwami of an unspecified species with Lila's ugly horse tailed hair. The necklace she wore was on the ground now. "What the f***?" she said as she looked at herself. "Who did this to me! I demand to know!"
"Hello Miss Rossi." A familiar voice said as a familiar person stood in front of her.
"Hawkmoth? But you're dead! You no longer have the butterfly. But…" Lila asked surprised.
"Like you faith and lore have brought me back as a deity in my own right. That you were so self-centered to believe you would be the only one to have been affected. You haven't changed a bit. You will still be useful but this time anyone picking up your new Miraculous will have control over you. I am keeping you on a shorter leash especially since you are more then a human now." Hawkmoth said.
The cultist picked up the necklace. Lila roared and charged at Hawkmoth. The cultist said 'Stop!' and Lila stopped in her tracks. She couldn't do anything. She threw a tantrum at being powerless, just as about she had gained such great power.
"While the other Miraculouses have already been bonded or touched by Ladybug's powers and cannot be used, it doesn't mean we can't acquire other weapons in a similar way." Hawkmoth said. "Now I'm a deity I don't need the Butterfly Miraculous, I will be strong enough to turn anyone whom opens their hearts and thoughts to me. I'll be able to even the playing field with the heroes once again."
"What's there even left for you? Your wife is nearly healed, you are a god now, what are you still fighting for?" Lila asked.
"Even if my goal of reviving Emilie is already achieved, it was not through my hands, and it has left me in a position that she would no longer want me. I want to make her and Adrien mine again." Hawkmoth explained.
Lila laughed. "Oh please, you'll never get them back. They would never want you again. You were always a pathetic man and you were always a bigger liar then even I. I am a bitch, I freely admit that, I lie as I breathe, but what I was always honest about was myself. You lie about being motivated by family but you treated your son like trash and I bet you did the same for your wife. Heck, you nearly brought the end of the world. Hey genius, what good is bringing a dead wife back to life if we don't have a planet to live? It's not rocket science! Believe me Hawkie, you are no better then me. You are just a power hungry madman with control issues."
"Shut her up!" Hawkmoth spit at the cultist.
"Be quiet and only speak when spoken to!" the cultist said, whom due control now made sure the Kwami Lila couldn't make sound. She opened her mouth and made weird gagging motions before bawling her eyes out due to being unable to talk.
"The heroes have the love and worship of the people of the world, but gods have been denounced have fallen before. I will crush the people's faith in them and see them die off. And then I will be the only deity to be worshipped, with everything I want by my side, no matter what the cost." Hawkmoth said.
"And we'll do everything to make it happen, those false deities with their stolen Miraculous will pay for everything." The cultist said.
"You and I are going to get along greatly, Wei." Hawkmoth said with a smirk towards the former disgraced Guardian.
NOTES
While Lila would be an evil deity I think Hawkmoth and possibly Mayura would get the same treatment. And though I don't think Lila as a deity wouldn't be much more efficient then when she was a hawkmoth minion. I thought that I could torture her some more by forcing her to do another's bidding again, but this time in a position that she no longer can scheme on her own.
I could not resist making the adrigaminette in this au official. As official as a fanfic gets.
Also couldn't resist bringing some attention to JuleRose and Lukanette.
