Alola Region
Pallet Town, a place where everyone is happy & treated equally. Well, everyone except two people. These two people happen to be a woman named Delia Ketchum & her 5-year old son. Now, you might be wondering "Why aren't they happy?" Well, the answer is simple, Delia's son, Ash Ketchum wasn't happy with the way he was being treated nowadays. For a while, he was best friends with a boy named Gary Oak who was very popular because he was the grandson of Pallet Town's Pokémon Professor, Professor Oak. The kids wanted to get close to the grandson of Professor Oak, so they used Ash as a stepping stone. When they succeed, Ash was cast aside & was treated like a loser & a nobody cause they rather be friends with Gary because he was the grandson of Professor Oak, even some of the adults thought of him that way & what's worse is his so called "best friend" Gary who became egocentric & arrogant by the popularity started to acknowledge it. Ash was very sad, friendless, & felt like he was an unwanted outcast, luckily there were some people who loved & cared about him, even Professor Oak cared about him. Professor Oak was disappointed in the people of Pallet Town for treating Ash like that. As for Delia, she was furious & nearly went into Mama Beartic Mode. So she made the decision that would change her & her son's life; she decided to move to the Alola Region where her husband was & start a new life with her family. She called her husband & told him that she was moving to Alola & he was happy that he would get to be with his wife & son again. Ash didn't have much of a reaction when Delia told him that they were moving, all he said was "Okay" in a neutral expression. Delia couldn't blame how he was feeling after what he'd been through. At the airport, Professor Oak & some of the people who cared about Ash were saying goodbye to him & Delia.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Oak asked
"Yes, it's for the best, Professor." Delia said "I'm doing this for the sake of my child."
"I understand." Oak nodded "Besides, Ash needs his father in his life until he's grown up as a Pokémon Trainer."
"Exactly." Delia said
"I'm gonna miss you, Professor." Ash said
"D'aww, so am I, my boy." Oak said as he rubbed Ash's head "But chin up, not only get to meet new people in Alola, you will also meet my cousin. Be sure to tell him I said Hi."
"Okay." Ash said
As Ash & Delia flew off in the plane
"Bye!" Some of the people from Pallet Town said as they waved goodbye
"So long, & good luck." Oak called out as he smiled & waved goodbye
After an hour of flying, Delia decided to break the silence
"Honey?" Delia said "Are you feeling alright?"
"I don't know." Ash said
"Are you nervous?" Delia asked
Ash nodded
"Oh, sweetie, I know you're feeling nervous because of what you went through & I'm so sorry." Delia said "But believe me when I say this, when we get to Alola, we'll be starting a brand new life together, just me, you, & your daddy."
"Okay." Ash said as he yawned
"Are you getting sleep, honey?" Delia asked
"Yes." Ash said as he drowsily rubbed his eyes
"Here, rest your head on my shoulder." Delia said
Ash rested his head on his mom's shoulder. Then Delia kissed her son's head as he fell asleep
"Sweet dreams, my darling, sweet dreams." Delia said before thinking "Pallet Town, I hope you're very happy for driving us away like this, cause you just lost what could've been Pallet Town's greatest pride."
After a couple of hours of flying, the plane had landed at its destination
"Ash, wake up." Delia said
"Mm." Ash moaned as he woke up
"Rise & shine, we're here." Delia smiled
"We are?" Ash said
"Yes, now let's get ready to get off the plane." Delia said
When they got off the plane & got to the airport, they saw a man with black hair, brown eye, wearing a white T-shirt with red short sleeves & a logo, blue jeans, red & white sneakers and a slightly redesigned cap
"Daddy!" Ash exclaimed happily as he ran up to the man
"Ash!" The man who is Ash's father said happily as he picked up Ash & hugged him
"I missed you." Ash said
"I missed you too, kiddo." Ash's father said as he looked at Delia "Hello Delia."
"Hello Red." Delia smiled as she hugged her husband
"I'm happy that both of you are here." Red said "I have a surprise for you too."
"What is it, Daddy?" Ash said curiously
"Put these blindfolds on." Red said as he gave them each a blindfold
When their blindfolds were on, Red led his wife & son to someplace.
"Okay, you can take the blindfolds off now." Red said
When they took the blindfolds off, they saw a crowd of people & a sign that said "Welcome Ash & Delia."
"Alola!" The people greeted
"Whoa, what is all this?" Delia said surprisingly
"Alola, my name is Hala & welcome to Iki Town." Hala said as he approached them "You must be Red's wife & son."
"Yes, I'm Delia Ketchum, & this is Ash Ketchum." Delia smiled
"Well, hello there little fella, it's nice to meet you." Hala greeted Ash with a smile
"Hi." Ash said shyly
"Ash, Delia." A voice said
Ash & Delia looked & saw a man with orange hair, brown eyes, wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with buttons, green pants & shoes, & sunglasses
"Uncle Blue!" Ash exclaimed happily as he ran up to Blue
"Hey squirt!" Blue said as he picked up Ash & raised him into the air "How's my favorite little godson?"
"People of Iki Town, now that Red's wife & their son are here, we shall celebrate their arrival." Hala announced
While they were celebrating, Delia had told him what happened back in Pallet Town, they were shocked
"& that's why I decided for us to move here to Alola." Delia said
"I can't believe, those demonic little—!" Red said angrily
"I guess Pallet Town isn't how it used to be." Blue said in disappointment
"Red, Blue, has that ever happened before when you two lived in Pallet Town?" Hala asked
"Never, I wasn't as popular as my cousin Gary was just because I was the Professor Oak's grandson." Blue said
"Agh, it's all my fault, if I've been around long enough, none of this would've happened." Red said
"Don't beat yourself up, Red." Delia said "The only good thing about this is, it brought us together so we can be a family again."
"…You're right, Delia." Red said
"Anyway, do you live here, Red?" Delia asked
"Yep, & it's a wonderful place." Red said "I'm sure our son is gonna love it here."
"Speaking of Ash, where is your son?" Hala said "I don't see him anywhere."
"Oh no, I hope he didn't go off on his own." Delia said in concern
"Don't worry about it, I'll find him." Red said as he pulled out a Poké Ball "Go Charizard!"
Red sent out a big orange avian draconic-like Pokémon named Charizard
"Rargh!" Charizard roared
"I'll be right back." Red said as he got on Charizard's back & flew off
Meanwhile Ash was sitting on a rock thinking about his life back in Pallet Town until he heard the bushes rustling
"Who's there?" Ash called out
Just then a mime-like Pokémon appeared from out of the bushes
"Mime." The Pokémon said as it approached Ash
"Go away." Ash said as he turned the other way
"Mime?" The Pokémon said as it tilted its head to the side, then it tapped Ash on the shoulder
"What?" Ash said as he looked at the Pokémon as it cover its face with its hands
"Mr. Mime!" The Pokémon said as it peekaboo Ash with a silly face
"Uh…" Ash said before he laughed
"Mime Mime." The Pokémon smiled
"Ash." A voice called out
Ash looked up & saw his dad landing on the ground with his Charizard
"Return." Red said as he returned his Charizard
"Hi Daddy." Ash said
"Hey buddy, I see you found a Mr. Mime." Red said
"This is a Mr. Mime?" Ash said curiously
"Yeah, these Pokémon usually come from the Kanto Region." Red said
"Wow." Ash said in awe
"So, whatcha doing out here alone?" Red asked as he sat next to his son
"Nothing." Ash said
"Still thinking about Pallet Town?" Red asked
"Yeah." Ash said
"Sorry, you had to go through all that, kiddo." Red said
"I just don't understand, Daddy." Ash said. "What did I do wrong?"
"Son, you didn't do anything wrong, those people back in Pallet Town were just dumb to treat you like that" Red said "I know you're probably thinking about getting back at them, but there's only one way you can do that."
"What's that?" Ash asked
"The best revenge you can get is to prove them wrong." Red said wisely
"Is that right?" Ash said
"It sure is, & that kind of revenge leads to best results." Red said "Trust me, okay buddy."
"Okay Daddy." Ash nodded
"Now, let's get back to Iki Town, your mother is worried about you." Red said
"Can Mr. Mime come with us?" Ash asked
"Of course." Red smiled
"Come on, Mr. Mime." Ash called out
"Mime Mime." Mr. Mime said as it followed them
At the party, Ash spotted a boy his age with dark skin, dark green eyes, & grey eyes under the buffet table eating something.
"Hello." Ash said as he looked under the buffet table
"Hi, care to join me?" The boy asked
"Sure." Ash said as he went under the buffet table
"Are you Red's son?" The boy asked
"I am." Ash said
"Nice to meet you, I'm Hau." Hau said
"I'm Ash." Ash said
"Want a Malasada? They're very good." Hau said as he gave Ash a Malasada
"Thank you." Ash said as he took a bite. "Hey, this tastes like a donut."
"It is, it's a different kind of donut." Hau said
"It's very yummy." Ash said
"I'm glad you like it, do you like Pokémon?" Hau asked
"I love Pokémon, I'm gonna be a Pokémon Trainer when I turn 10." Ash said
"Me too." Hau said "I'm aiming to be a strong Pokémon Trainer just like my grandpa Hala."
"Hala's your grandpa?" Ash said
"Yeah, he's also the Island Kahuna on Melemele Island." Hau said "What about you, Ash?"
"I'm aiming to become a Pokémon Master." Ash said
"A Pokémon Master? Wow." Hau beamed
Meanwhile, Red, Delia, & Hala were watching them
"That's my boy." Red smiled proudly
"Those two are certainly getting along." Hala smiled
"Yes, no doubt they'll become the best of friends." Delia agreed
