It had been a couple of hours since Blitzø woke up, Blitzø was hanging out with Solana & Dusk
"So, how long have you two lived here?" Blitzø asked
"I lived here for 5 years." Solana said happily
Dusk held up two fingers
"What does that mean? Two years?" Blitzø asked confusingly
Dusk nodded
"What's wrong, little buddy?" Blitzø said
"Dusk is just shy around strangers." Solana said
"Oh okay, so where are your parents?" Blitzø asked
"Oh…uh." Solana said hesitantly
"…" Dusk looked away sadly
"Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that." Blitzø apologized worriedly
"That's okay." Solana smiled
"Texie!" Amy's voice said
"Hey Ames." A male voice said
"That voice, it sounds so familiar." Blitzø thought as he got up
He went to the source of the voice & saw Amy hugging a familiar male Hellhound
"Is that Vortex?" Blitzø thought surprisingly
"Tex!" Solana exclaimed happily as she hugged him
"Hey, baby girl." Vortex smiled & he hugged back
"Vortex!" Husk said happily
"Hey, little man, how are you?" Vortex said as he picked up Dusk & raised him up into the air "You getting bigger each time I see you."
"Vortex?" Blitzø said as Vortex noticed him "Is that you?"
"Blitzø." Vortex said surprisingly as he put Dusk down
"Wait, you two met before?" Amy said curiously
"Why Blitzø, I had no idea you were friends with Vortex." Toriel said
"Oh actually, we're not friends, just acquaintances." Blitzø said
"Yeah, we don't know each other that much." Vortex said "So what are you doing here"
"Oh, Yvonne found me & these people brought me in." Blitzø said "What about you?"
"Just visiting my girlfriend." Vortex said
"Amy's your girlfriend?" Blitzø asked surprisingly
"Yeah." Vortex said
"Oh…well, it was nice seeing you again, Vortex." Blitzø said as he went upstairs to his room.
"Hm." Vortex said "Excuse me for a minute."
Vortex went upstairs & entered Blitzø's room where he saw Blitzø sitting on the end of the bed.
"Blitzø, are you okay?" Vortex asked as he sat next to him
"My ex-daughter doesn't need me, my employees called me a waste of time, does it look like I'm okay?" Blitzø said
"Oh, you're still hurt about that?" Vortex asked
"Yes…" Blitzø nodded
"I'm sorry that happened to you." Vortex said
"No no, it's fine, I deserve it for all the shit I've pulled." Blitzø said "I can't believe I was stupid enough not to get us human disguises."
"Don't say that, you don't deserve that." Vortex said
"How would you know?" Blitzø asked
"Because I don't think your job is a waste of time." Vortex said
"You don't?" Blitzø said
"No, I think it's a really impressive job." Vortex said
"Thanks, but when Moxxie said that the company was a waste of time, that was exactly what my dad said about my musical dreams." Blitzø said
"What?" Vortex said
"Never mind." Blitzø said
"…Hey, I don't mean to be evasive, but I feel like there's more that caused your relationship with Verosika to fall apart." Vortex said
"There is, I shove her away when she got too close, until she resented for being a selfish shit fuck." Blitzø said "Because I was afraid to love."
"You shouldn't be afraid loving people, Blitzø." Vortex said "If you keep pushing the people who love & care about you, you'll end up being alone."
"You're right…" Blitzø said
"You're not alone just yet, you have these people who welcomed you & took you in with open arms." Vortex said "Trust me, bro, these are good people & a few of them have been through a lot, so don't push them away."
"Okay, but what do you mean by they've been though a lot." Blitzø saod curiously
"Well, Solana's dad died in an accident when she was 5 & her mom got remarried to an abusive dickhead, he beat her & her mother daily until Solana got help from Dark Shadow. Shadow killed the bastard & Solana & her mother were taken in. 3 years later, Solana's mom became ill & died." Vortex said as Blitzø looked at him with shock "Dusk's life was way worse. When he was alive, he was kidnapped on the day he was born by a woman who had a crush on his dad & hated his mom. the woman kidnapped Dusk from the hospital & moved out of state. She made Dusk's life a living hell as payback against his parents, he was basically made the town fool & she began spreading lies about him. The whole town started believing the bitches lies & they started mistreating him as well, no one would help him, not even the cops."
"Did he manage to get out?" Blitzø asked
"He did, when he was 3, the bitch grabbed him & Dusk pushed her down the stairs which caused her to break her neck." Vortex said
"You mean he killed her?" Blitzø said shockingly
"Yeah, but he didn't mean to kill her. After the accident, Dusk packed up his stuff, stole her money & took a bus out of state."
"How did he die?" Blitzø asked
"He died at a church shooting." Vortex said
"Church shooting?" Blitzø said confusingly "He was a Christian?"
"Yeah." Vortex said
"Then why isn't he in Heaven, did he get banished from there or something?" Blitzø asked
"Not exactly, the reason why he didn't end up in Heaven is because he was never baptized" Vortex said "He was scared to confess his sins & thought that he would get in trouble for unintentionally killing the bitch & people would judge & mistreat him again."
"Did he ever meet his parents here?" Blitzø asked
"Yep, they lived here for two years until they got erased by the Exterminators from the last Extermination." Vortex said
Blitzø was shocked at Dusk & Solana's life, he was also angry at Solana's stepdad & the bitch & townspeople who fucked up Dusk's life, he also felt sad & sorry for them when they lost their parents.
"Thank you for talking to me, Vortex." Blitzø said
"Hm, just call me Tex." Vortex smiled as he placed his hand on Blitzø's shoulder "& listen, everyone makes mistakes, so just take it easy, okay man?"
"Okay." Blitzø smiled as they did a fist bumped
When Vortex came downstairs.
"Hey babe, is everything alright?" Amy asked
"Yeah, it's all good." Vortex said
"Vortex, Blitzø seemed hesitant when he saw you." Shadow said "Did something happen?"
"Well…yeah." Vortex said
After Vortex told everyone what happened yesterday, they were shocked & angry.
"How can they be so mean to him!" Peach cried
"I could just strangle those idiots." Slash snarled
"I believe Blitzø should have fired them." Toriel said in disgust
"When I talked to him, he said when Moxxie called his company a waste of time, it was exactly what his dad said about his musical dreams." Vortex said
"That must be why he was so apprehensive when we asked if he could join our group." Shadow said "I say we give him more time to open up to us."
The others agreed. As day turned to night, everyone was asleep as Blitzø woke up & went downstairs to get something to drink until he heard sniffling. He followed the source of the sound & saw Solana & Dusk crying.
"Solana? Dusk? What's the matter?" Blitzø asked in concern
"Nothing…we're fine." Solana said
"Is it about your parents?" Blitzø asked
"…Yes." Dusk said sadly
"We don't know why they had to die when we needed them." Solana sobbed "We just want them back
"I know, I know." Blitzø comforted "Vortex told me about your lives, was it really that bad?
"My stepdad & the people who mistreated Dusk told us that we were nothing but wastes of space & air." Solana sobbed
"Don't say that, you are anything but that." Blitzø said
"Why? No one would want someone like us." Solana said
"Well, I definitely would want you two." Blitzø said
"You would?" Dusk said as he & Solana looked at him surprisingly
"Of course, when I was a kid I always dreamed of being a music artist, but my Dad didn't approve & said it was a waste of time. I began singing in private so he wouldn't hear me, but unfortunately he heard me & nearly beat me to death until my sisters saved me, then he threatened to make me mute for the rest of my life. One day he found my notebook of songs, burned it, & crushed my dreams." Blitzø said as Solana & Dusk looked at him shockingly "After that, I had no choice but to become an assassin & become someone I'm not."
Blitzø picked Solana & Dusk up & went to the piano. Then he placed Dusk on the piano, placed Solana on the seat, sat next to her, & started playing

Everyone hugged him as Blitzø smiled & shedded tears
