This chapter is going to start the Ravel Phenex arc. Haven't shown her any love as of recent so I'm giving her an arc.

Beautiful

Days were counting down till Issei and Asia had their beautiful set of twins. Asia was soon growing impatient with the ever growing kicking and false contractions that was getting her body ready for the true birth. She was tired of waking up to Takashi and Anastasia kicking her. Not long after Issei found out, Koneko's pregnancy was announced to the entire house. Naturally, everyone was excited. Well, two were a little less excited.

As for the other girls of the house, Rias and Akeno had recently started going back to college. The two mothers found it hard to be away from their babies for so long, but they knew that others could watch over them. Kuroka, being the only other mother in the house, babysat the infant and toddler most days since she tended to lounge around the house. It also helped that she had Yuuma to assist. The new pawn was becoming liked more and more as time went on. She'd really grown into her maid role. The two swordsmen of the church trio were still in college and working their way diligently. Xenovia was still trying to get pregnant, but things were growing tough. Irina, on the other hand, was content just being able to be married to the one she loved most.

That leaves five unaccounted for. Ruruko Nimura had decided on going home. Everyone thought that she would stick around, but she figured going home was best. Ophis was still in her room, but she would leave sometimes to speak to Issei and study the children. Le Fay had begun college as well, starting this past August, and was excelling in chemistry. It really helped that she had years of potion making under her belt. Kunou was about halfway through her first year at Kuoh Academy and was passing with straight A's. She'd asked for help from Ravel who was more than happy to assist. Speaking of Ravel, no one had really seen her since... the incident.

What incident you may ask? Well, about a week ago Ravel shut herself in her room and refused to leave. When evening came on the second day, Rias asked Issei to go and check on her to make sure she wasn't sick or anything.

As he approached the door, he found it shut. He knocked and began to open the door, not hearing the light buzzing noise from the other side. What he found, was not what he was expecting. Laying there, on the bed, was Ravel Phenex with her panties pulled down and a small bullet vibrator buzzing away on her lower lips.

Before Issei could compose himself enough to speak, he found himself on the receiving end of the object she hurled in his direction. That object was a white wooden chair. The chair caught the door sending the legs into Issei's face while the rest shattered on impact.

Afterwards, he found Rias again and told her what happened. He then pointed out the cuts on his face from the chair. "Well you should've given her time after knocking. You need to apologize."

"I know, but I think I should wait a couple of days." Its now been 6 days since then and Ravel has refused to leave her room. No food, no water, no Ravel Phenex.

Koneko, Yuuma, Kunou, Akeno, and even Rias had tried to get Ravel to come out of her room, but all they got in return was a muffled, 'Go away and leave me to die'.

Once the seventh day came, Issei had grown worried about Ravel and decided it was time to talk to her. He crawled out from under Asia and Akeno and made his way to Ravel's room. Her door, like the others, had her own type of personalization. She had a picture of a phoenix on her door painted in orange and red. Reaching out his hand, Issei was hesitant to knock on the door. Finally, he went for it. *knock* *knock* *knock*

As expected, he got her normal response. "Go away, just leave me to die."

"Not gonna happen Ravel." He waited a moment and slid to sit with his back to the door. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry about walking in the other day. I didn't even think that you would be... never mind. The point is, I'm sorry Ravel." A few seconds of silence went by before he felt a pressure on the door behind him. It wasn't opening, but it seemed that she was leaning against the other side. "You can be mad at me if you want. I don't mind that. I just don't want you to lock yourself in here for the rest of your life over something like this. If it makes you feel better, you can hit me as many times as you need to."

Surprisingly, a light giggled came from the other side. "You have no idea how hard I want to slap you right now."

"Then open the door and give it your best shot." Issei smiled as he stood and waited. He watched as the door handle turned and opened to reveal Ravel. She had tear marks under her eyes and she looked really tired. "Well, come on Ravel. I'm right here."

She raised her hand and watched him. He closed his eyes and smiled at her. As she watched, her hand started shaking. Eventually, she decided on another course of action. She jumped forward and hugged him. "Issei."

"Yea?" He wrapped his arms around her smaller frame.

"I'm sorry I've been so much trouble. I shouldn't have locked myself in here." Ravel was crying at this point. "I don't care that you saw me like that. I, I was afraid..."

Issei rubbed her back and slowly checked his watch. Another hour and he need to be on the road. "Afraid of what?"

"Afraid... afraid that you didn't like the way I looked naked. You backed out of the room so fast."

"Well, you did kind of throw a chair at me." He paused and let her smack his shoulder. "Listen Ravel. You're beautiful. You're beautiful to me, and everyday for the rest of your life."

She was able to look up at him with puffy eyes. "That's a Pop Evil song you idiot."

"Well, it applies. I'm surprised you know who that it?"

"When you're as studious as me, you tend to learn everything about everything." There she was. Ravel had returned to her little brat form. She was back to normal.

Issei just smiled as he held her. An idea popped in his mind as he did. "Hey Ravel. I have a business meeting in Kyoto. Want to come with? Could use someone of your note taking efficiency. It's possible it could be an overnight trip."

"Hmmm... What do I get out of it?"

"You get to pick anywhere you want for a date night while we're there." That got her cheeks to flare up.

She'd been wanting to go on a date with him for a while now and this was her shot. "D-Deal. Just let me get changed."

"One last thing." He waited till she looked up before he leaned down and kissed her. "I love you Ravel." She then slammed the door in his face with bright red cheeks. With that, Issei returned to his bedroom.

Rias was waiting on him to come back. Since it was still early, Ellie hadn't woken up yet and neither had Asia. The Ruin Princess was reading her book with her glasses on that made her look oh so sexy. "How'd it go?"

"I'm going to bring her with me to my meeting later. Figured if we stayed there late, we could spend a nice day out after it was over and spend the night." His eyes fixed on Asia. "I just hope she doesn't go in while we're gone."

As they spoke, Ravel was blushing up a storm. "He thinks I'm beautiful! He thinks I'm beautiful!"

Thirty minutes later, Ravel emerged from her shower as the steam poured into her bedroom. She really needed to calm her nerves. Even during final exams, she was normally so calm and collected, but right now her head was spinning. Issei had basically asked her to take an overnight trip with him and she was elated.

She quickly grabbed a small pink duffle bag and placed her change of clothing in it. Since Issei had gotten in the shower, Rias brought her a list of what she might need. The list wasn't that long. A set of sleep clothes, a set of clothes to go out in, and a set for the trip back. The set for tomorrow's drive back could be a pair of joggers and a t-shirt if she wanted, so that's what she picked. She was also to pack her notebook, and her toiletries.

Her sleep clothes consisted of her pink and orange pyjama set. Her evening out would be her once old pink dress that she wore in her rating game with Riser. The only issue now was... what to wear for today. Part of her wanted to pick something fancy, since it was a meeting, but she didn't know how Issei was going to dress and wanted to compliment him in terms of outfits.

Deciding to go ask, Ravel ventured over to Issei's room with was about four doors down from her own. She knocked lightly on the door. "Hello? Anyone in there?"

After a few moments, Kuroka opened the door. "Well, little birdy came out of her cage." The 'bird' in question pouted. "Oh come on, I was kidding. It's nice to have you join the rest of us." The dark neko looked back in the room. Issei was standing next to Asia while she lay on the bed. "You need him?"

"I-I just need to know what he's wearing to his meeting later." Ravel shivered a bit. Was she standing under an air vent? Why was it so cold?

"Alright. Hey lover boy!" Ravel heard a muffled 'Yea?' as a response. "Ravel needs to know what you're wearing for your meeting."

A couple of seconds later, Issei made it to the door. At first he seemed shocked, but quickly reigned it in. "Oh, uh, I was going to wear a suit and tie. W-Why did you need to know?"

Ravel blushed a bit at the thought of Issei in a nice dress suit. "I-I was just thinking I should compliment you. N-Not like an actual compliment! Like a, uh..." She couldn't find the words she was looking for. The heat in her face rose as gust of cold hit her back. "I-Is it cold cause I'm freezing."

Issei wasn't sure how to react. He then leaned down to her ear. "Ravel. Y-You're only in your underwear. You know that right?"

The heat in her face spread throughout her entire body. In her rush to get her answer, she had completely forgotten to actually clothe herself before leaving her room. All in all, she stood there, in the hallway, in nothing but her pink bra and matching panties. She was completely frozen, despite her body being on fire. "I, I, I..."

"Uh, Ravel? As beautiful as you look with only this one, you might want to get dressed. We leave in about 15 minutes."

"A-Alright, I'm going." She then literally flew down to her room and slammed the door.

Issei turned back to Kuroka and gave her an interesting look. "You didn't tell her she was basically naked?"

The cheeky nekomata giggled. "Of course not. She's so stuck up, having the ability to tease her is that much more fun!" Kuroka kept laughing as she got Ewan into his clothes.

Rias and Akeno turned to look at both of them, but ultimately giggled as well. The important thing was, Ravel was out of her room again and not fretting over the past. Mainly since the present embarrassment was a lot to think about.
