In the Body of a Human Arachnid #2

I was in my room, busy with my planning on how to train to become a ninja-superhero. The first thing that I needed to do was writing down all of the knowledge that I have about ninjas that I learned from my previous life and keep it somewhere safe so that I could come back to it whenever I needed it.

I wrote down the basics of a ninja, as well as some other stuff like...

Peter's Ninja Info:

(Shuko) - Claw Weapon

(Ashiko) - Feet Claws

(Kaginawa) - Grappling Hook

(Saki) - Angry Energy/Ominous Intent

(Tanuki-Gakure-no-Jutsu) - Tanuki Hiding Technique

(Ninja Tabi) - Cotton Footwear

(Shinobi Ashi) - Ninja Feet

(Shuriken) - Throwing Star

(Bushin no Jutsu) - Division Technique

(Shinobi-Iri) - Ninja Method of Infiltration

(Yogi-Gakure-no-Jutsu) - Distraction

(Shinobi no Hensou Jutsu) - Disguise Technique of the Shinobi

(Mushin) - Without Mind

(Kuji-In) - Nine Cuts

I think all of that should be enough information for a while, and I'll just add more as time goes on. I'll also need to find someplace safe to keep it so that no one finds it and starts to get suspicious about me!

I put my notebook under my pillow and got up from the bed in order to look around my room and the house to see what the Parkers and I don't need and could probably use in a yard sale to earn a bit of money.

I'm really going to try and find other ways to earn income and NOT go to the Daily Bugle to work for Jameson! That would be a nightmare as it was one of the many factors that made Peter's life miserable that easily could have been avoided if Peter used his talents to get another job with a far better boss. I'm going to try my best to avoid that mistake unless I have no other option.

I thought of a few items that could be in a yard sale if Ben and May agree with my idea in the future. We had plenty of clothes, old books, silverware, and other stuff that we don't use that we could definitely get rid of and open up more space for ourselves.

I also have to be careful that I don't spend too much money on equipment for when I become Spider-Man, as it could cause more financial trouble and led me and the Parkers right back to square one. I'll have to limit my own budget as well and try to improvise by recycling old materials into new equipment. I'd be saving the planet in two ways like that.

I left my room and headed downstairs to the kitchen in order to see what food there was in the fridge that could prove useful to everyone that lived in this house in the near future. Another problem that Peter in many continuities faced was Aunt May's health problems that resulted in high medical bills, so if I can get more healthy food that can improve everyone's health in this house, then May's health won't become too big of an issue.

I opened the fridge and saw a bunch of apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, carrots, etc. All of them prove to be very healthy foods with plenty of health benefits for this house of three people.

I closed the fridge and then walked back to my room to open up my notebook again and see another page that I wrote. This page was a list of things I could do to deal with bullies at school. I'm not going to let myself be pushed around just to keep my Spider-Man identity a secret. I'm going to stand my ground and not take any abuse from anyone.

My list included methods like...

Dealing with Bullies:

Ignore Them

Dodge Objects Thrown at You

Tell Them That They're Jealous of You

Dodge Assaults on You

Practice a Sport so That They See You Have Brains and Brawn

Talk to Them and Workout the Differences You Have with Each Other

That leaves my problems with bullies all sorted out for when the time comes, I just hope that things don't get out of control that I'll have to resort to using my super strength to solve it, as it will only end up making things worse.

I'll worry about that at a later time, as I need to focus on how I'm going to train my spider powers and how to train to become a ninja at the same time without a teacher.

I know that being distracted won't be a problem during the summer, as I don't have a TV in my room, so that wouldn't be an issue.

By looking through Peter's memories from before we switched bodies, I also found out that he didn't have too many friends, but the one friend he did have was Eddie Brock! That meant that the childhood friend of Peter aspect from the Ultimate Universe and the Spectacular Spider-Man TV series was present in this universe as well. I looked through Peter's memories on when he last saw Eddie and it was about two weeks before I got reincarnated into Peter's book. The two of them were saying goodbye as Eddie was being sent to an orphanage, as his parents died in a plane crash that was different from the one that killed Peter's parents. Peter promised to see him again whenever he had the chance, but with a city full of supervillains and no heroes to combat them, walking the streets sounds like suicide! I don't know if I'll see Eddie again in the future, or meet him in my case, but if I can play my cards right I'll be able to avoid having him turn into my enemy once the Venom Symbiote appears.

It's kind of sad that Eddie is Peter's/my only friend, but since we're no going to see each other for a while that means without friends to have drama with, I'll be able to be Spider-Man without much issue, as I won't be letting anyone down with promises I won't be able to keep.

I put my notebook away again and looked at the time to see that I was around 8:00 pm. Since I was around eight years old right now, it would mean that I should be heading to bed soon, but it was also summer vacation, so I could stay up for a bit if I wanted to! Going to bed now, however, does have it's benefits, as children in the age of six to twelve need about twelve hours of sleep. That mean that if I went to bed now, theoretically, I should wake up at around 8:00 am, which gave me a bit of time to train before Aunt May and Uncle Ben woke up.

"Aunt May, Uncle Ben, I'm going to bed now, I'm tired." I called out from my room.

"Goodnight, Peter." replied Aunt May.

"Sleep tight, son." answered Ben.

I changed into some pajamas and covered myself in a blanket to stay warm as I fell asleep.

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked a few times in order to get rid of the sleepiness in my eyes. I then sat up and looked around to see that I was once again in Peter Parker's/my new bedroom. This only further proved that this whole this wasn't a dream, as I would have woken up ages ago if it was.

I slowly got out of bed and moved my limbs around a bit in order to get them working properly for the rest of the day, as I was going to start my training today and needed to be in the best condition possible!

I decided to also look down under my shirt to see if the spider bite had started to take effect yet. I removed my shirt and... Wow! I HAVE ABS!

Me, an eight year old child now has the abs of a bodybuilder! This is great! I've always wondered what abs like these felt and looked like in real life!

I couldn't help but feel great about this, but I also realized that me having abs at this early age was going to draw a lot of attention if I'm seen shirtless. I'll have to do everything I can to make sure I'm not seen like this until I reach my two digit ages in this body.

I decided to worry about that later as I put my shirt back on and got down on my arms and legs to do push ups to start my day off right.

It's been about a week since I've started training in order to get ready for when I become Spider-Man in a few years. So far, things are looking good for me as I do a few workouts while I'm alone, so I don't cause any suspicion from the Parkers. I also took the time to think of a few strategies to fight off certain supervillains in the future, it's best to be prepared and think up as many plans as possible.

I'm currently in a nearby park with Uncle Ben close by keeping an eye on me as I was busy doing pull ups on a bar in order to increase my arm strength. I made sure to pretend to struggle the whole time so that Uncle Ben wouldn't notice my sudden increase in strength for an eight-old-year.

I 'struggled' with my final pull up, before letting go of the bar and landing on my feet to take a break. I was hardly tired, but took deep breaths to make it look that way for the other adults that were around.

I'm not going to enjoy keeping up this role of a young child for the next few years, but if I don't, I'll have to answer some very uncomfortable questions if the truth comes out. I just hope that they past sooner then I expect them too.

In the meantime, I think that leaning how to train my Spider-Sense can prove to be very useful since I now have a head start to improve it, if that's even possible. I think blindfolding myself and walking around while blindfolded can prove effective, so that option is on the table. I just hope I can come up with more in the future.

Something else that I need to think about is what weapon I'm going to use if I'm going to be a ninja as well. It needs to be something light and something that I can carry around the won't slow me down when I'm web swinging across he city. There's also the issue of where I'm going to get my weapon in the first place and where to hide it so that the Parkers don't find it as well. I hope I'll be able to come up with something soon, or else I'll be facing more obstacles before I even become Spider-Man!

I woke up this morning pretty early and decided that I should start on making some home-made ninja gear to help me in my future adventures. The first tool that I'm trying to make is smoke bombs that'll prove to be great distractions in order to make an escape.

In order to make these smoke bombs, I'm currently drilling two holes through eggs while trying not to crack them, blowing the insides out, waiting for the inside shell to dry, pouring in powder and ashes into the egg, and then closing up the holes with wax.

It's an easy process, but it's easier said than done. I needed to be very careful to not make a mess, but I managed to make three smoke bombs to use. Now the only remaining question is where I'm going to hide them?

I just need to find a good enough hiding spot for them that won't be discovered in a long time, or better yet, a place where no one will look because they won't need to look there in the first place!

I decided that I needed to buried the three smoke bombs in the backyard in a safe location, as it seemed like the best hiding spot I could think of for now.

"Man, I thought that burying them was going to be harder for someone of my age. I guess super strength is more beneficial than I thought." I said to myself.

I'd just got back from burying the smoke bombs in the backyard, which meant that they'll be safely hidden in there until I dig them up next time.

It was a good thing I finished burying them so quickly, because Aunt May was now walking down the stairs and locked eyes with me.

"Peter?! Why are you up so early?" she asked.

"I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep." I responded.

"You must be hungry, Peter. I'll start making breakfast." she said as she went into the kitchen.

"I'll start making the juice." I said as I walking towards the fridge.

Ever since I've asked for more fruits and vegetables whenever it came time to shop for groceries, I've managed to inform May and Ben about juice combinations that improves people's health. With this tactic, Aunt May's health will improve and we won't have to spend so much in order to keep her healthy as the nutrients from the juice will protect her and we'll have more money for other stuff in the future.

I was surrounded by pure darkness as my eyes weren't going to be of much uses to me at this very moment, but that's were my Spider-Sense comes into play. I'm currently walking throughout the living room while my Spider-Sense guided me to avoid collision with any of the furniture. I couldn't see were I was going, but that was the whole point of this training exercise in order to increase my Spider-Sense abilities to the max.

I suddenly felt my Spider-Sense becoming stronger, which meant that my blindfold had to go! I removed it from my eyes and hid it behind myself as Uncle Ben came downstairs.

"Morning, Peter. Up early again I see!" he greeted me.

"Yup, I feel good and energized after last night and I'm ready to have fun summer day." I responded to him.

"Well then, how about a nice day of summer cleaning to get the house nice and tidy?" he said with a grin.

Aww man. Do we have to clean today, Uncle Ben?" I complained.

"Sorry, kiddo, but we all need to do our part to make this place shine." he told me.

I'm going to be honest here to everyone. I was never the biggest fan of cleaning the house, even in my old life, I always thought that it wasn't necessary until you could see the dirt at first glance. Some people, however, are such neat freaks that it drives my crazy. Even crossing over to a fictional universe I can't escape them!

I'm now currently writing down the equipment that I'll need when I start my Spider-Man career. It's going to be a dangerous job, so I'll need tons of gear in order to reduce the danger as much as I can. Some of the gear that I'll require includes...

Spider-Man Gear:

Web-Shooters

Web Fluid

Spider-Tracers

Smoke Bombs

Knockout-Gas

Utility Belt

Thin Sticky Wire

Flashlight

Gas Mask

Second Mask

Ninja Weapon #1

Ninja Weapon #2

Ninja Weapon #3

That'll be my full list for now. The only remaining question will be how to obtain a few of these items over the years, what my three ninja weapons are going to be, and how to make the thin wire come out of the Web-Shooter?

I'll have to figure out those questions later when the time is right, as I need to focus on my training for right now and make sure my physical abilities are at their max, before adding in gear into the mix.

The only remaining obstacle that I can currently tackle for now is the financial trouble.

I'm now currently sitting on the couch with Aunt May and Uncle Ben as we discuss our plans for a yard sale.

"I think there are some old vases in the attic that we don't need anymore."

"Just as long as you don't sell the one with the pink flowers, Ben. That one's always been my favorite."

"You sell two bathroom curtains and then we'll talk about the vase, May."

"I think we should get rid of that old shovel. We'll just get a new one with all the money that we make from the yard sale that's bigger and stronger."

"Not a bad idea, son."

As we tossed ideas of what to sell back and forth, I thought about what snacks I could sell at the yard sale in order to bring in more people, as food is one of the best ways to draw in customers. Almost everybody would want to eat when they're shopping.

I just hope that we make enough money to help ourselves out in the long run, as I'm going to need a few bucks to get my equipment for my ninja training as Spider-Man!

Well, that wraps up my second chapter of this story.

I know that a lot of you will be a bit disappointed that about how this chapter felt like filler, but it's to help Peter advance in training in order to be prepared to be a more effective Spider-Man in the future. There's also the fact that he's still eight years old in this chapter. I'm just warning you all the next few chapters will all be like this for a while as we'll have more timeskips into the future to get to some interesting developments for when Peter does become Spidey!

I hope that this chapter was some what enjoyable for many of you out there. Be sure to still around in the future, as things will start to get more exciting as we reach closer to Spider-Man's debut in this world, and how a lack of superheroes in a city full of supervillains effects the people living in said city.

See ya soon!
